Dialog Cafe has become my go-to spot to take friends before heading to Runyon for a hike.Ambiance: I absolutely love their outdoor seating on the street, it has that European café feel, which makes it a great place to relax and people-watch.Service: Pretty minimal. The staff delivers your food, but if you need something or have a question, it can be tough to flag someone down.Food: The breakfast burrito is super cheesy and pretty sausage-heavy, while the brisket verde burrito feels a bit more balanced. I had a bite of my friend's Santa Fe chicken wrap, and honestly, I might be getting that next time. It was really refreshing with the little gem lettuce. The jalapeño cheese croissant was a standout: perfectly flaky, crispy, and actually tasted like jalapeño cheese instead of just looking the part. I asked about their pastries, and at first, a worker told me they only make the muffins in-house and would let me know where they source the croissants from. Right as we were about to leave, she came back and said they do make the croissants. Now I'm wondering what is the truth? Because that croissant was so good, I need to know where else I can get them :')Overall, a great brunch spot to hang out with friends, especially if you're fueling up before a hike. The food delivery industry has spiraled out of control in so many ways, but what's happening at Dialog Café is a prime example of unchecked negligence--and it needs to be called out.In the past six months, I've ordered from Dialog Café through Uber Eats twice. Both times, despite clearly specifying my preferences using their order form (including checking "no meat" and reiterating it in the notes), I received the wrong items. Both times. My only recourse was to contact Uber Eats, who are an absolute joke when it comes to customer service. Their "solution" is usually to tell you the order is closed and toss you a $10 credit like that's supposed to fix anything. Why am I paying for food I can't eat because they ignored my explicit instructions? Why should I lose the $50? I got so fed up that I deleted Uber Eats entirely. The platform is predatory, takes advantage of customers, and provides zero accountability for the restaurants they partner with.Fast forward to a recent experience: I received a marketing email from Dialog Café promoting their option to order directly through their website. I was hesitant but decided to give them another chance, thinking this might avoid the middleman issues with Uber Eats.We placed a breakfast order for delivery. Nearly an hour later, we finally received tracking details. The driver was supposedly just 4 minutes away. Then the estimated time kept fluctuating--between 2 to 4 minutes--and the car appeared to be driving in the wrong direction. Despite living only a few minutes from the café, the delivery seemed endlessly delayed. My husband went downstairs to meet the driver, as we always do, but suddenly the app claimed the order was "delivered." My husband called me from downstairs to ask where it was, but I had no idea. It was obvious the food had been dropped off somewhere else entirely. Dialog Café had used Uber Eats to handle the delivery. So, when I called the café for help, they told me, "Sorry, you'll have to take it up with Uber." Excuse me? I didn't order through Uber--I ordered through your website. Yet they expected me to just accept losing over $50, plus tip, because of their failure. Here's the kicker: I found out Dialog Café had used Uber Eats to handle the delivery. So, when I called the café for help, they told me, "Sorry, you'll have to take it up with Uber." Excuse me? I didn't order through Uber--I ordered through your website. Yet they expected me to just accept losing over $50, plus tip, because of their failure. I tried to call Uber, but guess what? The order wasn't even associated with my account. Why? Because I didn't place the order--Dialog Café did! Yet somehow, I was the one left dealing with the mess. This is beyond infuriating. Popularity should not exempt a business from taking responsibility for their mistakes. The combination of Dialog Café's negligence and Uber Eats' exploitative practices is unacceptable. Customers deserve better than this endless passing of the buck and total lack of accountability.

love love love this place for their off the chain double smash burger. One of the best burgers that i've had so far. It was our second time going just for the burger so i wouldn't be able to tell you about any other food items . The way it works is you order and pay first so there's no hassle once you finish you can just leave. We sit outside so we can take in the night life in the area. Its ambiance is that "city life" which i love because I'm a city girl to the max . It's a cool, chill spot that gives you that L.A nightlife or day vibe feel. 10/10 for the double smash burger and we will be back lol.

The food at Dialog tastes good and is good for you! Today I got the Chinese Chicken Salad and it was packed with super yummy ingredients that were fresh and healthy (the dressing is also delicious). In the past I've also had the Cesar Wrap (my favorite thing here) and the breakfast burrito. Both were pretty tasty! Unfortunately I removed a star because I have gotten the matcha a few times and it is so bad. Not a place to get good matcha but you should def try it for a quick lunch!

Came to this famous cafe to try their breakfast burritos and it definitely lives up to the hype, from its food, ambiance (love the outdoor seating), and self service station where you can load up on a variety of sauces!-Kyoto Cold Brew with foam (5/5): started off with this drink and wow, it was so good! The cold brew was smooth and the foam added a hint of sweetness that made the whole drink so delicious and smooth.-Dialog breakfast burrito + avocado and chives (5/5): this breakfast burrito was soooo good and sooo filling... kepy me full for the whole day! Wish there was a bit more egg, but the egg was so fluffy and was perfectly soft scrambled. The sausage was juicy and savory and I loved the unique texture of the hashbrowns (with the thinly slice potatoes). The sauce station was also a must... I had five sauces in front of me I kept rotating between for each bite, and the tortilla was so soft and chewy.I would definitely be a regular at Dialog cafe is I lived nearby!

I love dialog for breakfast or lunch! They have a wide variety of menu items for any mood I am feeling. The grilled banana Nutella croissant was soooo yum but for sure more like a dessert. You can't go wrong with any of the breakfast burritos. I like to get multiple things and share. I've also tried to protein bowl, and it was so healthy and fresh. I like how they list their farm partners on the menu. Although the line is long, they give you a wait time so you're not left feeling forgotten. They also make sure there's a seat available for you after you go up and order. Parking is very hard to find, I must say. And be careful of restrictions / permits.
