Denae’s Diner

So this spot is tucked away in the Delphi Hotel in Downtown LA. Cute little hotel in the middle of downtown. So right away when you think of Downtown you think of the impossible parking. Luckily, the LA library is next door and they have a conveniently priced lot. Saturday and Sunday it's capped at $8 so definitely recommend that.Delphi Hotel was nicely decorated. Very chic. They had a huge Christmas tree and throne like chair. There was also a small Christmas Market hut. We went to the hostess and were seated immediately. Now I made a reservation for 12pm and it was not packed. The interior was brightly decorated with lights and Christmas decor. Each seat was wrapped with Santa hats. Outside the umbrellas had stocking hanging from them. Decorations were definitely on point. I ordered the Christmasaurus drink and a cobb salad. Both were delicious. I also had the blueberry cheese pie. Now my only grievance was that there were no holiday dishes. minor detail but just note. Also you can purchase the mugs after so that's a great little gift to take home. Overall, pleasant time.

Went there during Thanksgiving weekend and it wasn't busy at all. Decent selection of breakfast menu, but food wasn't all that good. I would rate it as 3/5 for breakfast dishes. Cute decorations inside to make it all festive. But during lunch hour they were playing really loud music. Like club level loud. I am all up for music but maybe there is a time and place for such volume? Overall a good experience

This place was great! I landed in LA and had a little time before I had to be anywhere so I started walking towards my destination then looked on yelp for a restaurant that was close. Denae's popped up so I stopped in. I had the double burger which was very good! The fries were cooked perfectly too. This place was so good I made reservations for a dinner with a friend a few days later. He had the black Dahlia French toast, I had a bite, it was sooo good! I had the turkey club and honestly I was a bit disappointed. The bread wasn't toasted like it usually is on a club, I didn't love the aioli, the vinegar kind of ruined it for me. And there were some gross looking pieces of turkey on there. I wish I had ordered something else. Service was great, the ambiance is really nice and I found it easy to get a table. I would definitely recommend this place for a meal, solo or with friends!

Denae's Diner is located inside the Delphi Hotel. There is underground self parking or a valet lot adjacent to the hotel. The diner offers a great patio. The indoor dining room is sizable but better suited for smaller parties. They offer a good range of dishes for breakfast/lunch, and call out allergens on the menu. The creamed corn was very tasty, and others enjoyed the loaded fries as appetizers.I had the La Brea plate, which was very tasty and filling. Service was prompt and friendly. I was impressed that the food came out quickly despite our large party of 18 people.

We went to Danae's diner for their cute little Christmas Miracle pop up. They had areas to sit in inside the and outside and inside the restaurant was very a very cute diner aesthetic with cute Christmas decorations everywhere. The service was great everyone was super nice. The cocktails we had for Xmas time were perfectly balanced and very tasty as well as the food, we had the fried chicken sandwich and turkey sandwich. We'd definitely check it out again if in the area. It's located inside a hotel in downtown so parking can be a little tricky but when we went we easily found a metered spot

This spot is in the heart of DTLA yet is so well hidden that you'd never expect to find it. It's located in the lobby of the Delphi Hotel.They have spectacular breakfast/brunch food. I ordered the Wilshire BEC. This is a well done croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese, bacon and tater tots in it. The sandwich is well compacted and very clean. The croissant does not crumbel or get messy. The bacon, eggs, tater tots are soft and cooked just perfectly. Servers are kind and the place has a nice patio which is hidden from the view of the streets of dtla. The prices are very reasonable as well.

This is the hotel's (Delphi) restaurant. My brother had stayed here a few months back and missed it. I was surprised as mid century diners are up his alley. As I mentioned the place has 50's diner flair. It is still retains an air of classiness. The menu is mix of elevated comfort food. I ordered a double smash burger. The order was fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time. The burger is of a modest size and is accompanied with thin well seasoned fries. It was uneventfully good. They do seem to have a good selection of desserts.

A really impressive and delicious diner! I go to a new diner every weekend and this has been one of the better ones I've tried in months. It's located on the ground floor in the lobby of the Delphi Hotel in DTLA. I love the design on the inside, it's in between retro and modern and has a chic look to it. It's a sort of place you'll want to stay a while, something in between a trendy coffee shop and an updated California diner. Our server was polite and all of our items came out fairly quickly. It took a bit to get our check but that's to be expected because there was only one server working this morning. They have valet parking for the hotel behind the building for $20 or you can do what I did which was find metered street parking a block away. The other option in between these two would be a parking garage for around $8 or $10.They are fairly new, but you would not know that from how well everything went today. I decided to start my meal with coffee and was delighted when they brought over a large and full French press, which has about three refills in it. For my meal, I chose one of the specials of the day which was the Eggs Benedict. The wilted spinach on the bottom was almost sweet and very good. It allowed me to soak up all the hollandaise. I also added chili and cheese to my hashbrowns, and would recommend to anyone else to do the same. They also added caviar on top for a great combination. For the end of the meal, we split a Banana Pudding and it was honestly really great. There were pieces of banana bread on the bottom, and it really tasted homemade versus some store-bought recipe. I would highly recommend ordering it.Overall, it's slightly more expensive than other places, but still not over the top, especially for a hotel breakfast. I was honestly very impressed and plan to be back in the near future. I would recommend to any fan of diners or anyone looking for a great breakfast spot downtown.

Cute and fun diner in the Delphi Hotel. In its past iteration at the Standard Hotel it had a retro, all yellow decor with a modern diner menu. The menu remains modern and eclectic (three out of four of us at our table ordered the chicken pot pie for lunch and it didn't disappoint) but the vibe is now even more fun and kitschy--we went before Thanksgiving and they really leaned into the Christmas themed decor. I wonder if it will persist into February like my own Christmas lights.

I dislike leaving bad reviews but This food was not good , I got this food delivered to me , the short stack of pancakes were definitely those ones from the frozen food section, the country potatoes had a texture as though they were reheated from yesterday, they were stale and hard , they also tasted like they were tossed in old grease , the only thing I was able to stomach was the fruit , some of which was rotten , It had some type of seeds and seasoning on it , that wasn't mentioned in the description, I was hoping to start my thanksgiving day with a delicious breakfast and I got the complete opposite
