Back in 2017, this was one of my favorite restaurants. The view and venue were spectacular. The chicken and waffles were some of the best I've ever had and their seafood selection in their all you can eat brunch was fantastic. I used to bring all my friends and family here.Despite their website still advertising an all you can eat weekend brunch, they no longer serve brunch here. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and had breakfast here with my kids. It took over an hour to get our food. My omelet was the saddest, smallest egg dish I have ever seen. The croissant french toast was just 3 bite-size mini croissants. My daughter saw the food in front of her and burst into tears. They also tack on an automatic 18% gratuity to the check and ask for an additional tip. I overhead another guest asking the server if they were ever bringing back weekend brunch, to which the server replied, "Never again."So when will I be back? Never again! The view is still nice.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel and added breakfast to our stay.I was a little disappointed with the breakfast options. It's a buffet, but they always have the same optiona They used to offer omelets, but for some reason, they stopped.Jasmine and Miguel assisted us during breakfast, and they were amazing! Very patient, and they speak Spanish which was a big plus. It's located on the 69th floor, so the view is definitely amazing.I'd say it's a one-time place to eat, mainly for the view and service.Side note: They don't prioritize guests staying at the hotel, so if you're going on a weekend, make sure you get there early.

I would of given this restaurant 5 stars, but getting there was awful!!! Whoever designed the path to get to the restaurant must be a designer for a speakeasy.Anyhu, Jasmine, my server was great. She was very attentive, and I was having brunch, and she quickly removed my used plates and checked on me. The selections were great. The gentleman at the omelet station was patient and made omelets that were very good, and I asked for egg whites, so that was a plus for me.There was also a seafood selection, fruit, charcuterie selections, and most importantly- Mimosas!!!I highly recommend this brunch. The views are spectacular and casual atmosphere

Come for the food, stay for the view, leave with a full belly. Up to the 70th floor to one floor down, on the 69th floor you will find this brunch buffet. They welcome you with one complimentary sparkling beverage (we chose champagne). There were hits and misses with the food but those we enjoyed were prepared well: chimichurri steak cooked medium rare, omelette station, carnitas tacos, and a fresh seafood bar. Overall, a great brunch experience in LA.

It's the view and the pancakes for me. We came here for Father's Day breakfast and it was good. Orange Juice was fresh squeezed, they had the brekky basics like scrambled eggs, pork & chicken sausage, bacon, oatmeal, an omelette station, cereal, etc. The pancakes are really good here but they couldn't keep it stocked fast enough. If you're afraid of heights, don't even think about it. You're so high up and surrounded by windows that it feels like you're one thin glass panel away from falling out. Ray was our server and he did a good job and kept our drinks filled and took our photos at the end. Definitely recommend brining out of towners here for a fancy breakfast experience that is uniquely L.A.!

Overall a 3.5star experience & rounded up bc it was better than I expected. We came here for a birthday for the view. Surprisingly the food was pretty good. It was better than your standard breakfast buffet joint. We had reservations at 11:30am on a Saturday so we had their sparkling brunch $57 pp which came with a glass of mimosa or champagne & they had other hot main dishes like salmon and a carving station with beef and porchetta. Other breakfast items were good as well & cooked to perfection. They also had a dessert bar in the back near the restrooms. Pros:1. Food was pretty good2. View was nice3. Service was good for what it wasCons:1. Expensive $57pp ended up being close to $80pp w tax and tip2. It was hard to get to the restaurant and back to the car. You had to take multiple elevators and stairs to get to restaurant and also had to take an extra elevator to get your car back from the valet. 3. Valet was expensive. We paid like $16+ with validation. I would go again to celebrate an occasion. But maybe go earlier for their breakfast which is like $39... a more reasonable price.

Dropped by for breakfast on the 69th floor of the Intercontinental Hotel and feasted on all the food I could get my hands on. And let me just say, there are some great selections to choose from! THE FOOD ELABORATION. - The omelette station offers fresh ingredients and they have a few skillets going at the same time so the wait isn't too long. - I liked the assortment of cheeses and cured meats and probably spent too much time here. - Fruits are plentiful and ripe. Add a little yogurt for some contrasting tartness. - Pastries are perfectly portioned so you're not loading up on too much carbs. - There's pizza/quiche station which was interesting. The quiches are great, the pizzas, not so much. - Smoked salmon and cold eel are offered for the seafood lovers. Both are pretty good. THE DRINKS DRUNK. - They offer a drink station so we filled up on juices such as grapefruit and orange. We also had a carafe of coffee at our table. THE VIBE EVOCATION. Modern, bright, and airy. The views of downtown LA and beyond were mesmerizing. Grab a table next to the windows and then get your ass up to raid the buffet. Speaking of buffet, the food counters were kept clean and stocked! Special shout out to the staff who were all very attentive and accommodating to my ridiculous request of sitting in the smaller dining area where they re-assigned someone to wait on us. THE PARKING AFFAIR.Parking is valet only. If you're staying at the hotel, overnight parking is $51. You can find cheaper parking near the hotel. THE RESERVATION DETERMINATION. Reservations are recommended, but we went on a Friday morning (about 9:45) in June and there was hardly anyone around. We may have missed the breakfast crowd. They do close from 10:30 - 11:30 AM to prepare for lunch, so make sure you get in before "changing of the guards."THE RETURN QUANDARY. I'd come back to try some of their menu items! I loved the vibe and the views too.

Dekkadance is located inside the Intercontinental Los Angeles. The only good thing about this place is the Service and the View. However, the View of ugly LA is not a nice view. The food was not worth the price. Just typical breakfast buffet food. Even their desserts were just mediocre. I don't recommend this place.

All right my friends I must disagree with esteemed yelpers who have given this place less than 4 stars. Stop Nit Picking! I try and do not base my reviews solely on a bad experience. Things happen. Besides the views which are stunning I found that the choices and food was good. Will return and promise to provide a more detailed review.
