Daves Hot Chicken

It was very delicious. The chicken was super juicy and the food had awesome flavor. definitely recommend this place.

First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken. 1 Chicken slider and fries @$11.50. I should have ordered 2 but my fat ass doesn't need 2. Chicken was good, wish there was a sandwich full version not just sliders. Needs more cole slaw but tastes good. Fries were small but crunchy cringle cut fries tasted great. Love the sauce that comes with. Service was fast and friendly.Ambiance was good. Was in and out in less than 4 minutes. I scarfed my food down in less than 2 minutes lol.

Yet another average experience with Daves. Daves hot chicken's quality of food ranges from each Daves, which is actually quite annoying that they lack consistency across all restaurants.Regardless, Daves is the "fast food" of hot chicken, you really only go there when you have no other options nearby or are in a rush. The chicken quality is fine, but they are so poorly seasoned, their sauce is adequate, but nothing that stands out. Daves is one of those places where after you eat there, you say to yourself, "man I wish I drove to _______ instead." But on the way there, you're thinking, "oh I'm craving some hot chicken but _______ is too far away." Ring a bell? Right, we've all been there.Anyways, their service is always fine, nothing to complain about, as well as the ambiance within the restaurant. I will give Daves this: they are really affordable for the portions. Yeah, flavor of the chicken is extremely mid and leaves you hanging, but hey, it'll 100% fill you up without emptying your wallet.

Came over here after a long day at Universal Studios with some friends. I got the Medium Spice Chicken Tenders combo and it was a good level of spice for me! The chicken was tender, crispy, and juicy. Fries were also decently well seasoned. I also took a bite from my friend's Reaper chicken and it was surprisingly not as spicy as I thought it'd be. Maybe they didn't dump enough reaper powder on it? The space was clean and service was efficient. This is one of the better dave's hot chicken locations!

Why have I waited so long to try Daves Hot Chicken?Had my friend not recommended it, I still wouldn't have known how great it is!!Holy smokes! I found my new favorite hot chicken place!Firs of all, it's in a small strip mall. Parking is limited but if you're lucky, you'll find a free and open spot, otherwise, there's an attendant and he has some spots, not sure what/if he charges or if just the tip. Luckily, we found an open spot.There's some outdoor seating and some indoor seating. Outdoors is pretty noisy, you're right on Western. If you don't mind street noise it's OK, if not, there's indoor seating, and you should be able to find a place. The chicken sandwich, right? That's what you want to hear about. Well, it's frreakin' great! I did the 2 sliders with fries and kale slaw. $14.99. It was a lot of food! It's the way to go because you'll want an extra one for later!!You have your choice of how spicy you want it. I ordered mild and it was still pretty darn hot. That's why the call it Daves HOT Chicken, right?The staff was great, and we got our order super fast!Next time I'm going for lite mild. It'll still have a little kick, but not enough to take away from the awesome chicken flavor.They have the standard soft drinks, also shakes, and beer too!I love this place. Can't wait to go back.Dave, you certainly know how to do hot chicken!

Came by here after watching a show in Hollywood and I liked it a lot more than the DHC locations by my house. For one the service was a lot quicker, despite there being a good number of people already waiting for their order. I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes.I received my food then sat down to eat and immediately noticed the portions were also bigger than the ones I am used to getting which was a pleasant surprise :) . The food itself was very good, as the sandwiches I ordered were actually quite spicy! That and the portion of fries was just the right amount. Something else I appreciate was that the inside was pretty clean and the music was not unbearably loud. So thank you for that If I am ever craving hot chicken again and I am in LA then I may just stop by here again. It's difficult when there are so many options to go to in the heart of Los Angeles, but I am happy I gave this one a try !

Honestly I don't understand the hype anymore. Back when it started it was legit. The seasoning and the sauce was on point. But since expanding over the years the quality control isn't what it once was because I genuinely liked Dave's. The customer service has always been good. But there are other places with better hot fried chicken sandwiches. I would recommend Crimson Coward.

Service was amazing. Super clean and quick execution. It's my first time here and I will be back.

Well, I gave em a try and found it overpriced and over spiced. This was inedible. I ordered the "Medium" and found the chicken was too spicy and the fries too salty. This is the first restaurant I ever visited where you had to request utensils and napkins. I will not return.
