We had a fun experience at Dante, beautiful venue and view of the city at the balcony. The dishes were a blend of Italian and some California flair. We started with oysters, they were fresh and sweet, perfect way to start the meal. The crude del pescatore were beautifully presented and tasted as fresh as it looked. Farmers salad was light and refreshing and simple dressing that wasn't overbearing. Dorada All"Acqua Pazza was a standout. Perfectly cooked and tender, broth was light and rich in flavor yet didnt overpower the fish. Rosa Pizza had a thin, perfect crips crust, the right amount of mozzarella and basil. Great dish to share. We ended with the Tiramisu, very creamy and indulgent. Highly recommend for any occasion or simple night out.

Listen, I I'm a very open minded person when it comes to any restaurant and I've had this place bookmarked for over a year now. I had a friend visiting from New York and they had heard of Dante in Manhattan and wanted to try it here because the views looked great. We had a reservation at 4:30 to catch the sunset and realized that that also was 30 minutes left of their martini hour, which runs until 5 PM and has $10 martinis. We were a little disappointed to see that their martini our menu had an * on half of the martinis which are not included in their martini hour. They should consider revising this as it is misleading.Service: when you're paying over $150 per person, you expect excellent service, especially when a 20% service fee is automatically applied. I would compare this level of restaurant to Houston's/Hillstone. However their service is exceptional and worth every penny. It took about 30 minutes for a waiter to come to our table after we seated to take our order for drinks. Our first waiter took our drink menus and did not return to even checking in on us to order appetizers for another 30 minutes. Unbeknownst to us, the waiters changed and we had a separate waiter. This waiter was more attentive and then the waiters changed again. Our final waiter, Greg was very good and more attentive. However, I think it's strange for an upscale restaurant to have three different waiters for one table during a one and a half hour dining experience.Drinks: we started with the Dante's dirty martini which we soon realized is a batched cocktail. The presentation is very nice. They serve the olives on ice however, the cocktail tasted like dish water. It was also warm. I understand that they batch their cocktails however, if you're charging 20+ dollars for a artisan cocktail, I would expect it to be made to order and served cold as a dirty martini is supposed to. The other drinks were not bad, however, I don't understand how they can serve an espresso martini that is batched, those should be shaken and served to order. When we asked the server, if the espresso martini has espresso in it, he replied I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Not a good look.Food: overall, the food was actually very good. I would skip the tuna Crudo as it was strangely seared, and the texture was interesting in a bad way. The pizza was great, and the pasta was very good as well. We also had the salmon and pork chop, which was good.Ambience: this is the only redeeming factor, the hotel and restaurant are very chic, and the views are exceptional.Overall, I had really high hopes for this place and I unfortunately don't think I'll be returning.

Our waiter (901011 Ryan ) was so rude and because there is a gratuity already installed in the bill, they don't care about service at all. My fiancé tried to communicate his disappointment, to the host and she told him to leave. We spent over $800 there and were treated terribly. I would highly advise against this place and the food is not worth the terrible treatment.

Dante is one of my favorite places to have a good meal, good view, good cocktail, good service and much more. I went here to celebrate my birthday and it was the best experience. We ordered a lot. French 75- My favorite cocktail in LA. Burrata - freshFries - tasted like McDonald's in the best wayPesto Pasta - skip, I can make a better homemade pesto. Diavola pizza- fluffy dough and good flavor. My boyfriend even surprised me with our printed pictures on cocktails at the end of the night (which was pricey but a nice one time thing.) email them before hand to set it up. I recommend going around sunset into night time for the best view. Parking is available in the Beverly Hills lots (flat rate fee after 6 pm).

Our first time here on a beautiful Saturday late afternoon. We had reservations for 3:15PM. We arrived at this beautiful hotel where the restaurant is on the rooftop. The view is spectacular. It's really nice the way they have the seating because you can be sitting inside and still have a great view from your table or you can sit on the outside. It's a view of the city all the way to the mountains where you can see the Hollywood sign. The ambience of the restaurant is very colorful yet chill with its warm tones of greens and beige, and the velvet booth gave me that old Hollywood glam meets jungle vibe, if that makes sense. It's elegant yet animalistic jungle vibes with the decor . You had your golds and cremes and greens all tired well together. They also had a dj who was in the ones and twos jamming as we walked up to the hosted stand, i was already dancing lol. It was nice because the music was just loud enough for you to jam too and still have a conversation with the person across the table. The service was good. One thing i will say is that we started with one server and then he just disappeared and didn't say anything so we had to ask another server and turns out he had taken over for him, but neither one told us, so I would have to say they can work on their communication when it comes to that but that's the only flaw of the whole day. Otherwise everything was fabulous. Food was great. We had the Dante burger, which was excellent and it's their signature and it did not disappoint. The Dante Martini was the best martini I've ever had and my boyfriend thinks so as well and the whiskey sour was perfect. Overall excellent experience for our first time we will definitely be back. Oh and by the way, they had a martini cocktail hour when we arrived so we'll have to go back for that.

Besides the multiple waiters serving us the wrong dishes, it was a lovely experience ~lol~The view, ambiance, the building, the seats, the breeze were all so niceWe got the margherita pizza, wild mushroom risotto, crispy baked potato, pan roasted wild faroe island salmon, and chocolate creme caramel, dante's signature tiramisu.Food was delicious! But the chocolate caramel cake is served on a puddle of olive oil and for those who don't usually have their sweets with olive oil, beware--it might throw you off :o all in all, great experience, good food, romantic but not intimidating ambiance. service could have been more ..attentive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dante remains at the top of my list in Beverly Hills! I finally came back for a meal and was not disappointed. We opened with the oysters and they were fantastic. They tasted fresh and were exactly what I wanted for an appetizer. We also had a Diavola pizza and it was phenomenal. The hot honey paired so well and was the perfect sweet and savory bite. Our final food item was the Gemelli Corti, this was good but I must admit it was quite salty for my palette, I would likely skip this next time. We finished everything off with a Grasshopper which was absolutely spectacular. Dante truly never fails to impress and I'm so happy Every time I come here!

We had an amazing time at the Dante's bar and it was all thanks to the incredible bartender, Zoro, From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome with his friendly personality and top-notch service. His drink-making skills are next level--every cocktail was perfectly crafted and delicious. Not only is he talented, but he also takes the time to connect with customers, making the whole experience even better. Zoro is the reason I'll be coming back again and again. If you visit, make sure to sit at the bar:

Went here on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago with some girl friends as we typically meet up and have lunch in cute spots. I was the first to arrive in our little party of 3 so I waited by the bar. The restaurant has wonderful views as it's in the higher floor of the Maybourne Hotel. While waiting they have live music (see video) and really complimented the overall atmosphere of the place. They have beautiful murals in the ceiling. As my other 2 friends arrived we were seated by the covered terrace area so you can see the view with a shade. We ordered 3 cocktails, 1 salad and 2 pizzas. For dessert we had tiramisu. I liked my Cosmojito as I love a mojito base. My friends like theirs as well, I'm just glad that it wasn't watered down. For the salad we ordered the Fall Harvest Bowl but we were served the Delicata Squash and endive salad. Unfortunately we weren't paying attention and just ate it anyway. For pizza we ordered pizza autumn and Margarita. For dessert our server Alexa recommended Tiramisu which was perfect size for us 3. Good place for brunch/ lunch with the girls, close to shops so we walked to Rodeo Dr after our lunch. For this location you pay premium for food, I also valet so that's additional $20 I believe.
