Review for Dama: An Unforgettable Experience!If you're teetering on the edge of deciding whether or not to visit Dama, stop right now and just go! Trust me when I say the food and mixology here are experiences you don't want to miss. As a self-proclaimed aficionado of delicious drinks and mouth-watering food, I was utterly blown away by what Dama has to offer.We started our culinary adventure with the empanadas and quesadillas, and oh my goodness, they were phenomenal! The moment I took a bite, the temperature was perfectly hot, and the textures were incredible--so tender, juicy, and just falling apart in my mouth. The layers of flavors dancing in each bite left my taste buds in a frenzy. Without a doubt, this dish deserves a solid 10/10!Now, let's talk about the mixology--it's simply out of this world! The juices they use to craft their drinks are some of the freshest I've ever tasted. I typically have high expectations for cocktails, but after the first one, I knew we had to try every specialty drink on the menu. I sincerely couldn't find a single one that wasn't incredible. Each drink showcased the fresh fruits perfectly and was artfully balanced without being overly dominated by alcohol. It's clear that they invest heavily in training their bartenders, and it shows in the care they take to ensure every customer enjoys what a truly great cocktail should taste like. We felt like some of the happiest customers with every sip! Another 10/10!Equally impressive was the service. Our bartender was attentive and genuinely enthusiastic about the drinks, which added to the overall fantastic experience. Honestly, I can't find a single thing that needed improvement during my visit--everything from the food, drinks, and ambience to the customer service was a perfect 10/10. Kudos to the entire team at Dama for creating such a memorable experience! I will definitely be back, and I can't wait to bring more friends and family along to share in this treasure of a restaurant.

I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed. Food was just ok, drinks are good. Service was great and the place has a nice chill ambience. STREET Parking is free but valet takes up the spots so be aware, this should be illegal.

DAMA has been on my list for longer than I'd like to admit... but we made it! So thankful for the person who made it happen. :) Upon arrival, we checked in with the hostess who informed us that our table should be ready shortly. She noted that we were celebrating a birthday and offered us a glass of wine as we waited for the table. So thoughtful! We were sat in a corner that overlooked the restaurant. Despite how busy it was, it offered an intimidate and beautifully decorated space for dinner and drinks, and our hostess/server frequently checked in on us. We ordered: - the Sierra Norte- the DAMA Old Fashioned- guacamole (freaking amazing!)- bread (freaking amazing!) - empanadas - clams and chorizo - crispy squash flowers - the Commodore #2 - pina colada cocktail (yum!) And didn't quite make it to any of the mains this time around, but thoroughly enjoyed what we had. We're definitely looking forward to returning to trying more of their menu. The restaurant is located right next to Rossoblu. Valet is available but we found street parking a hop away.

Came with friends during the Dine LA event. Everything was delicious, and the small plates worked for us to share lots of flavors. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and appropriately attentive (without being obsequious). We sat in the outdoor area (on a January evening) and were plenty warm due to screens. The interior is also lovely. Had a very positive experience and will be back.

We stopped by Dama before a concert, and it was the perfect choice for a quick bite. The restaurant focuses on small tapas and wine, which worked great since we didn't have time for a full meal. We had the lamb, calamari, and empanadas & all were super flavorful and just the right size to share.The service was awesome. They made sure to get everything out quickly so we wouldn't miss the concert, which we really appreciated. The staff was friendly and on point the whole time.The place itself is really well-decorated, with a cool vibe that's perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends. It's also in a great spot for downtown LA activities.The bar deserves a shoutout too it's exceptional, with great drinks and a nice selection. Overall, Dama was exactly what we needed, and we'd definitely come back!

Food was good, nice ambiance and the service killed the experience. Hardly saw our waiter, no one preped the table for food service, we had to move our app plates and clear the table for the server. We would have had more drinks but the service was slow. Top notch prices but didnt' feel any better than a casual dining restaurant.

A small oasis in a rougher part of LA. From the direction I was driving from, the streets were pretty rough but then suddenly, next street over, there was valet, line of teslas, and modern buildings - including DAMA. Street parking free after a certain time - 6pm? There's indoor and outdoor seating. Tables and couch and bar top. Dim lighting, modern tropical decor, and delicious food. A bit pricier than an average day meal, but luckily portion sizes are not minuscule. The Aguachile was my favorite.
