Excellent a la carte broccoli kbbq spot. Wonderful interior design with wood accents make this a great spot to take your boss, out of towners, or to impress a date. They also have valet! Staff is incredibly attentive and they cook for you at table side!Came here with my Korean girlfriend and she said this was apparently the best kbbq she's had in a long time. As a non Korean I also agree.Their meat is somewhat pricey but gems on the menu include the galbi which is prepared in the kitchen along with the Korean fried rice which you can add beef. For so much beef and rice it's actually an incredible deal. They also offer other traditional dishes that were quite good. Lastly to top it all off they even give each person a little vanilla soft softer at the end as a palate cleanser!

I liked the food, the quality was high end and the meat did not disappoint I went at 12-ish on sunday and the setting was quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms were phenomenal and impressed me very muchThe service was decent. nothing out of the ordinary.

Great meat, soon tofu, kimchi cold noodle, and atmosphere. Not sure I would return simply because the service was so damn unfriendly, and the limited banchan was a joke for their prices. However, I did appreciate the ice cream at the end.The waiting lounge was super posh and spacious, complete with bar and dartboard.

Came with a reservation and it is modern, large and more "upscale" K-BBQ restaurant inside. Service was professional and timely. They were not too personable which was ok as it went with the theme of the restaurant. People dress up nice here. Menu was large and food prices in line with a big city. The meat was good quality but wish quantity was more. Overall, a good place to come if you're craving K BBQ in a more upscale environment.

Really good K-grill, place was comfortable, no greeze floor or smoky air. Beef are expensive, portion relatively small, so order more. The spicy rice in clay port was surprisingly good and was the first time I had such. The cooking was a bit different than others, if you ask for garlic, they will start the pan grilling the garlic first, that made a huge difference. Parking was a bit challenging even you let them park. Overall a fantastic place to eat.

Overrated af. For the price you are paying, the only thing you are getting out of it is maybe just the fact that you are at a really expensive restaurant and the vibes from the aesthetic of the restaurant are nice. I mean, the meat quality definitely was good and the first few bites of it was fantastic. And I felt like the servers were over their job and had some attitude.Supposedly the best thing on their menu is the rib cap, but unfortunately they didn't even have it in stock when we went. So we got the Daedo cut, which includes the rib cap. And yes, it is the best out of all the cuts in my opinion. I feel like the quality of the meat was good. The beef tartare was just okay here. It didn't melt in your mouth and did have a chew to it. It was interesting they included chives with the dish. They also serve ice cream at the end, which I feel like is a good treat to finish off a meal with. I liked that they gave a bunch of sauces to pair with the meat, but I do believe they could do a LOT better of a job with the side dishes they serve. In my opinion, all of the side dishes (they only have a few to begin with) were all misses.Glad I got to go see what the hype was about a year or two after they opened, but it makes sense why they hype died down.

I've been to Daedo three times now and keep hoping to be blown away. There was so much anticipation and then excitement in KTown when it opened. Daedo was coming from Korea, YAYYYYYY!!!However, my friends and I have decided three 3 star dinners will not having us coming back a fourth time.Daedo has a beautiful space as if it's carved into the building with sky high ceilings giving the Korean BBQ a chic and classy feel. Definitely make reservations before going because it can get busy.Service was pretty bad the first times I was there. Like legit weird ignoring us & forgetting things continually, plus they even mixed our bill with someone else's, lol. However on my most recent visit, no issues with service at all. They were actually very kind and attentive. So hoping they worked out any kinks there. Front desk also seemed nice, but just know there will be a wait even with a reservation.Daedo's banchan is good, heck all their stuff is fine. However this is a high end Korean BBQ so you'd think your mind would be blown away with side dishes! Nahhhhh, only a few come out and good, but nothing crazy. The meat itself is good but it's not on the same level as some of the other spots around town. We've tried nearly every protein on the menu (not the premium $240 ribeye cap) and our least favorite was the brisket, usually a winner for us. The marinated kalbi is good, but even that...the recipe is not quite as delicious as other spots.I would like to point out a Sprite is $3 and a Shirley Temple (Sprite + grenadine) is $9.We usually drop $100 per person really depending on how hungry we are and drink statuses. But the whole thing with Daedo is...it's fine. No major issues if service has been worked out. But it's on par with the lower mid level Korean BBQs around $50pp. The prices at Daedo just don't make sense for what it is, so sadly can't recommend them!

Only kbbq restaurant (that I know of) that is upscale and has full bar and wine list in LA, Ca.Ambience is on another level. They have a tight menu items which I actually appreciate. We got the combo kbbq to try everything (3 types of meat).Food: Portion size was small but with some wine and cold noodle, I was satisfied.Daedo cut "combo" and classic cut(thinly rolled)The ribeye cap was really amazing but ordering it a lacart was at a hefty $240.Cold noodle was deliciousDid we get fried rice? The free ice cream was just perfect!!Oh we also had a pancake.. i cant remember how it was so it was probably just okService: good- took a while for the ice cream Location: safeParking: metered street, valet

This Korean BBQ has been on my list forever. When they first opened, there would always be a huge line, so I really wanted to try. I recently went on a weekend and I would definitely say the hype has died down. I would definitely recommend making a reservations, but there were plenty of tables available. Parking is pretty easy as there is valet parking ($4) or street parking around the blocks. I opted for the daedo cut and the classic Korean cut and the soybean paste soup. I did not like the classic Korean cut, I thought it was pretty bland and dry. The daedo cut is probably my favorite. The meat was tender and juicy. Definitely recommend the daedo cut. The soup was pretty tasty and good. And, then to top it off, they give you ice cream at the end. I would say the food was just average, but the service was so good!! They anticipate your every need and come by to provide you with what you need. I am not sure if I would come back since there are other, better Korean BBQ places in Ktown. But, glad I finally got to try.

I'm hesitant to write this review because I kinda want to keep this my little secret, but I'm a yelper, helper, and sharer, so I gotta let my people know. My husband and his friends love having dinner in the restaurant, I'm not the biggest fan of Korean bbq but they seem to really enjoy it. The staff is super nice and will help you cook. The place is super clean and new, which is always a plus in koreatown. Now to the best part, the secret karaoke rooms. They have two hidden rooms that you can rent out and get your singing on! One of them fits about 40 people, the other about 20. The larger one even has a private bathroom. We've hosted a few events here and everyone has had an amazing time. We live on the Westside and koreatown can be out of some of our fancier friends comfort zone, but they have all loved it and wanted to go back. We were even able to order fruit and charcuterie platters for the last party we had.
