Curson Café

I have lived in Park La Brea 3 years. Every morning coffee and sandwiches routine for me and family were task for the cafe guys. Delicious sandwiches, real coffee and of course wonderful service!Thousands of thanks to all team!

My husband, son, and I needed a quick breakfast while staying with my brother in his apartment. He mentioned to us about the café and to give it a try. So we did! They have a small menu but it is a small café. No indoor seating, just outside. We got a breakfast wrap and avocado toast. Both yummy! We also got smoothies and a latte. Just as delicious! It is a nice little quick breakfast spot if you aren't looking for something over-the-top. Fresh and easy to go.

We've been living here since 2006 and have seen so many changes inside and around Park La Brea. Curson Cafe is one that has been making many beautiful additions and has expanded from being the residents' favorite cozy cafe to one of the surrounding neighborhood's coolest hangouts! JESSICA, the owner, is so kind and polite. She and her WONDERFUL STAFF accommodate my precious elderly mother and our friends with warm, welcoming smiles and delicious vegan veggie panini (our favorite!!). We come here almost daily, and we are so grateful that this place exists in our community.

The food was good, but expensive. I had a grilled chicken panini. The service was okay. There was a language barrier. The ambiance was okay, it was outside, definitely didn't look like the picture. Over all experience is a three.

I've been going to the Curson Café for 10 years. I don't know what I would do without it! Friendly staff, super clean, great coffee, good food! It's become a morning ritual.

I didn't go to this cafe as often as you'd think I would for living a few minute walk away but I stopped by a few times for a coffee or breakfast sandwich, and they never disappointed.

Amazing Service, Super friendly staff. I love their hot pressed veggie croissant sandwich and their lattes.

I have been coming to this place for years. The owner is the sweetest person. She works SO hard making the place lovely, comfortable & providing good food. It's such a lovely little oasis in the middle of the big city. She has beautiful plants all over, making the seating area a nice place to hang out. Her daughter does a fantastic job designing the beautiful holders for the coffee. She's always posting new things to try on the menu and keeping the yummy stuff on the regular everyday menu. It's one of my favorite places to hang out & get a break from the noisy city.I will say to any new potential customers, please respect her right to ever SO kindly ask you NOT to bring your dogs in the cafe. She has had to clean up after dogs urinating by the front door (witnessed that) as well as in the cafe on the chip stand, causing her to have to toss out ALL of it, which is quite costly. When dogs pee on the plant stands, by the door or anywhere around the area, her staff has to scrub everything down immediately which stops them from keeping the cafe running smoothly. She asks very kindly but customers yell at her, bully feeling quite righteous that they should have their dogs anywhere & everywhere including sitting in the chairs on the cushions for customers. Her goal is to keep the area, with food, clean & sanitary. As well as keeping other customers safe. PLEASE, consider her feelings as well as the rest of us.

I love Jessica's cafe in Park LaBrea! Food and coffee are excellent! The patio is lovely! Highly recommend!

Food is fine. The new guy working the counter is rude and incompetent. The guys making the sandwiches do a great job.
