Restaurants should stop disguising their dishes with art to make up for unappetizing and mediocre food. The Wagyu Meatballs were very dry. The texture of the dough in the Margarita Pizza was inconsistent to the pizza we had at the same restaurant the night before. The Striped Bass was also dry and it was paired with an extremely sour sauce. The Ahi Tuna was under-seasoned.I ordered a coke and the bottle wasn't refrigerated before. The coke is served room temp with a glass full of ice. You end up with a diluted soda. $6 for a tiny bottle and they can't even refrigerate the beverage beforehand. The restaurant missed the mark on so many levels. On top of that you are paying a premium price. The service is great, the atmosphere is warm and comfy. If your looking for quality food that's close by I'd recommend Il Cielo. I wouldn't come back here again.

This is a review for Veil & Velvet (A Hollywood-Inspired Speakeasy Experience December 1 through March 3, 2025) within Culina at the Four Seasons.Per the description: "Adding to the nostalgic allure will be experiential elements such as live cigar rolling, on-demand caviar service, and a roving Martini cart, further elevating the dining experience to one of classic Hollywood elegance." Cigar rolling is only on certain days of the week, and I guess not Saturday nights which is when we went. I ordered a martini and never saw proof of a roving martini cart. I ordered the DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (Barrel-Aged Beefeater Gin, Absolut Elyx Vodka, Lillet) and was told that they hadn't yet barrel-aged the gin, so I subbed Monkey47.I won't name our waiter because he was very sweet, but the service was notably bad. When our drinks arrived, he tried to put the tray down and spilled a decent amount from all 3 drinks. He never offered to comp anything or have them remade. For food, we ordered -PRETZEL BREAD $13 (House Made Pretzel Baguette Infused with Whole Grain Mustard, Maple-Brown Butter)This took 45 minutes to arrive after asking about it twice. It was a single pretzel stick that was haphazardly cut. STEAK TARTARE $31 (Cured Egg Yolk, Chives, Capers, Potato Chips)Very flavorful, but the chips were very thin and we never received utensils so we couldn't scoop up the tartare. We asked for more chips and a knife. Thankfully more chips arrived, but we never received silverware.TRUFFLE FRITES $19 (Black Truffle, Shaved Parmesan, Chives) Overpriced of course, but tasty! The free popcorn and almonds on the table were a nice touch! Definitely a necessity since everything took so long to arrive. We had planned to order the flambeed banana split, but after trying to wave our waiter down several times, we gave up. Our entire dining experience was 2.5 hours for just 3 appetizers and 2 rounds of drinks. Incredibly slow service. Sorry to say that I was not impressed. There wasn't even much of a spectacle in terms of vibe to validate the prices.

Came here for lunch & everything we got was yummy although nothing was extraordinary except for the shrimp. Love how friendly the staff are, and how beautiful the interior is though, so this rating is based on the food (i.e. average). Diavola Pizza 2/5 -- Only ok, it was soggy! And barely had any honey (had to ask for more). Wish it was more crispy because eating this was a hassle.Broccolini 2/10 -- Could be softer, just tastes like roasted broccolini you can make at home. No flavor.Tagliatelle al Ragù di Funghi (mushroom wagu pasta) 5/5 -- This was delicious! Perfect amount of creaminess & umami flavor. We also added chicken to ours. Shrimp (forgot to take pix) 6/5 -- Soo delicious we forgot to take pictures Best tasting shrimp I've ever had and it was piping hot when it came out! Loveee the marinade they cook it in, it was perfectly garlicy & zesty. Pistachio Cannoli 4/5 -- Cannoli was stiff & incredibly hard to cut into, but we LOVED the flight of pistachio themed toppings it came with! So innovative and really elevates the dish Affogato 3/5 -- Tastes like your average affogato, but loved the addition of the waffle cone. Wish it came with more! We also got matcha lattes & mochas, which were good. Super creamy. That being said, expected more from this place but I mean nothing was unedible.

Food was delicious, every bite! Service was top notch. Place was packed but the soundproofing and atmosphere allowed for intimate conversation. Great vibes and food.

It's at the famous Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills and does have automatic valet parking (which isn't cheap but cheaper than if you were staying at the hotel). Posh it definitely is and I came here for a business meeting while I was speaking at a convention in LA. I definitely have to say service and ambiance lived up to what you think of when you imagine the Four Seasons Hotel or Beverly Hills. I had a very simple lunch of chicken and potatoes along with some bread and I believe I had dessert as well. I was stopping by the convention later so I still wanted to make sure I ate moderately and didn't get too full. The food was delicious and I had a good meeting with my contact. The ladies room is definitely the most impressive I've seen considering a stall also includes a full sink and countertop as you'd see when you typically leave a stall. I also got to pass some of the Beverly Hills sights on my way there and back though I definitely didn't get to do it justice. If you're short on time and can't see many sites, it's definitely worth a trip here so you get at least something of a Beverly Hills experience. If invited, I'd come back.

Came here for DineLA with a few friends, and we had a great time! We dined here on a weekday evening, and it was fairly empty and I probably spent a little too much for a Wednesday dinner LOL, but it was very good. The interior here is stunning and upscale. Great spot for a date night. Service was also fantastic. We got a few non-dineLA additions like Flatbread that came with three spreads and some mocktails that the bartender whipped up for us. These were a great start to the meal. As for starters, I got the Fried Artichoke, which was probably the best bite of the evening. This was so thoughtfully plated and had a lot of crunch and flavor. For the next course, I opted for the Fennel Sausage Pasta. This was tasty with a generous amount of sausage. As for the entree, I got the Braised Short Rib with Polenta. This was very soft and tender, but so rich and heavy. I couldn't eat very much of it because of that, but if I hadn't devoured the entire pasta, I could have probably enjoyed more of it. We finished off with dessert, and this was the best way to end the meal. The individual portion of Tiramisu was huge!! And so delicious without being too sweet.

Every year on December 29 we go out to dinner with our friends to end the year with a good note. This year we chose to go to Culina... it was my first time here but our friends have been here many times. What a beautiful restaurant. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with such warm colors and interiors. The staff is amazing. Very friendly and attentive. We ordered many things from appetizers to salads to pizza and pasta and enjoyed every bite of our food. We had a lovely time here and I can't wait to be back during lunch time to dine at the outside patio. So beautiful. Loved all the holiday decorations as well.

Went here for the dine la menu. I think that most items should have a slightly bigger portion. The appetizer, tuna, 4 slices of good tuna over saturated with lemon and olive oil (not good). Sausage pasta, good, but so little! I'd rather have more pasta than a heaping bowl of tiramisu, which the first couple of bites you can start to taste the butter and it needs more breading. The main entree, beef, honestly I enjoyed it but wish it was !slightly! bigger. The table we were sat at was... ok, but I think they should get rid of the tables that are in the outside "corridor" because of how many people walk in and out. Sitting outside was nice, but not exactly at our spot. Next time I would dine inside, but it seemed pretty dark inside. Waiters were ok. Hostess and valet staff were nice!

Excellent and very authenticLovely attentive service. We had the burrata, prosciutto and persimmons, Caesar salad, Wagyu meatballs and Pizza ai Funghi followed by Rigatoni alla Bolognese and Jidori Chicken. All accompanied by a lovely Sancerre. Finished with a delightful Tiramisù and Lemon pie. Was so taken by it all that I forgot to take pictures until dessert.

This was such a fantastic meal and service! First of all, hats off to our waitress Sonya and beverage/wine manager Alfredo for their exemplary in-depth and friendly service, knowledge, and passion for their food and wine!As for the food, this was quite a Italian culinary adventure. The food at Culina was some of the tastiest and unique Italian cuisine I've had in Los Angeles. For appetizer we had the Focaccia Al Rosmarino, Carciofi Fritti (Fried Artichoke), and Polpette Al Sugo (Wagyu meatballs). The Focaccia was a delicious way to start with its Tris di Salse ('nduja Calabrese, tomato-basil chutney, and sundried tomato tapenade). There's a lot going on here with each "salsa" that gives variety in a delicious way.The Polpette Al Sugo (Wagyu meatballs) is very savory can easily be a centerpiece of a delicious pasta by itself.Unfortunately I had the Carciofi Fritti as my last appetizer and of the three it was the most ordinary. It's not that bad, it's just not as remarkable after having the other two delicious appetizers. As for the main course, I've had the pasta Crested di Gallo e Salsiccia, and it was one of the best pastas I've had. A lot of flavor that are distinct and works very well together. The sauce is white wine that is light. Each ingredient (fennel sausage, broccolini, mollica di pane, Calabrian chili, and parmesan) works like individual instruments in a symphony. The fennel sausage is the meaty base of the flavor, the broccolini adds the herbal flavor, the mollica di pane or bread crumbs adds crunchy texture, the calabrian chili adds a hint of spiciness and excitement, and the parmesan tops it off with its cheesy salty goodness. The wine paired was Lato Sud, a red wine with an unforgettable delicious taste that starts a little bit smoky and spicy and ends in a slightly sweet and mellow after taste. Each sip is a delightful surprise. Finally for dessert, we had Tiramisu and Cannolo al Tavolo (fried cannoli). The Tiramisu had the most consistent texture and consistency I've had with Tiramisu with its thick but light mascarpone mousse that makes you want to close your eyes and savor each bite, while the cannoli was a tasty crunchy dessert that is both playful and a real delight to eat.Long story short, everything except the fried artichoke was delicious and highly recommended. Compliments to the chefs and the staff, this was a five-star dinner!
