This was the second time I've taken a friend to eat here and both times everyone left stuffed and more than satisfied :) The ambiance of the restaurant itself is very warm and cozy, and the service is welcoming and attentive. And I truly can't say enough good things about the food itself. First of all, huge portions. I always order the butter chicken, and their rendition never disappoints (rich, creamy, savory, cures any bad day), but this place was actually the reason I started getting lamb korma (nutty, fragrant, and generous chunks of lamb). Impress your friends with your palate by taking them here, you won't be disappointed :)

Bottom-line: Mid-tier at best . Ordered delivery via 3rd party app. Couple dishes were above, other dishes didn't meat expectations. Spice-level accommodations mostly ignored.Everything ordered a la carte -- an unfortunate and quotidian practice these days (with the exception of any buffet).Ordered three dishes with naan:Chicken tikka masala -- spice level medium.Korma Chicken -- spice level hotBhuna Chicken -- spice level hot.Chicken Tikka masala had very juicy and prime-chicken cuts. The gravy was overly too tomatoe-y and lacked the other signature and defining characteristics of a superior masala sauce. Medium spice as ordered.Korma Chicken -spice level hot, but barely more noticeable than mild. Gravy a nice smooth, nutty yogurt spiced consistency. Definitely the highlight.Bhuna Chicken -- ordered spicy, but dish not made with any spice whatsover! Bhuna Chicken is essentially a curried dish with a more mild gravy with a bunch of like peppers and tomatoes thrown into it. Very little synergy. THe gravy was a sickly watery bland spread of fail. I would NOT recommend this dish.Naan: Floppy. Cold. Structure not firm. No char. At five dollars, I'd rather buy grocery store bought naan for dippings.Overall Crown of India is just average. Better eats out there.

This place is so good. I've only ordered from them and have never visited the actual restaurant but the food is delicious and always arrives hot and delicious even though it's a bit of a trek to my house. We tend to get the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and the samosas, but honestly, everything we've tried here has been excellent.

Disappointed in the green moong dal. Was lacking in a usually onion/garlicky balance and the tandoori chicken was a bit dry though the flavor was just right. Biryani was also fine just nothing super explosive. They NAIL the fried food tho. The Pakora might be the best I've ever had. Paired perfectly with the herby and mango chutnies.

HOLY SHIVA! This place has no business being this good. I feel extremely lucky to have stumbled upon this joint scouring Postmates for a dinner delivery. Everything was pretty perfect, from value to portions to taste. DUO DINNER. Just live a little and do it. I love the setup, too. I wouldn't typically order a lamb entree but they made me choose one chicken, lamb, and veggie dish. Comes with 2 onion bhajis, a giant naan, a buncha fluffy rice, and gulab jamun (!! Not just your typical rice pudding) for $59.95 online. Everything just completely exceeded our expectations and we can safely say it's the best Indian we've had thus far. We've had a lot of Indian. Absolutely well worth the price. We have at least one or two more meals leftover, which definitely took a lot of self control because I could've kept eating despite being damn full. It was that tasty. Got the chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, saag paneer-- all medium heat. Perfect amount of spice. All the flavors and textures were exceptional. Deliciously creamy (not overly sweet) tikka masala with a good amount of tender chicken, the paneer in the saag was soft and plentiful, and the lamb was insanely tender (not gamey at all) doused in a delectably complex sauce & perfectly cooked potatoes. Just ridiculously good. Everything complemented one another. The onion bhajis' that we started with were huge and freshly fried. The gulab jamuns' we finished with were exactly what we needed to tie it all up. Again, not overly sweet. Just perfect. Damn, I'm so happy right now. We found our ideal Indian spot! Thank you, thank you. I will come again.

I feel like I've been seeing this spot all over social media and I've been on an Indian food kick these days. I ordered delivery and got the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, Chicken Samosas, and Garlic Naan. All items were delicious -- the Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy, flavorful, rich with just the right amount of chicken chunks. The Samosas were huge but had lots of flavor and paired perfectly with the tamarind sauce, and you really can't go wrong with Garlic Naan. I thought the portion they gave was very fair for the price. While I can't speak to what it's like to dine in at the restaurant, this is a great option for delivery. The food came hot and steamy and was packaged nicely, and I could definitely see myself ordering from here again.

Found this place on tik tok and it was just as good as people said it was. Met the owner Maruf and he was very genuine, hospitable and a joy to talk to. Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place!

If you're a fan of good desserts, you have to try the rice pudding at Crown of India. It's a comforting to the stomach that strikes the perfect balance between sweetness and texture. The rice is tender but still has a slight bite, just the right amount of smoothness.
