Service was fast, vibe was great, they have sports playing on multiple big screens where people gather, eat, drink, and cheering over sports together.Parking is not on-site, you may park in one of the Pasadena parking lots, and walk over. We ordered Tacos and some other appetizers, food was okay, nothing too special. I would come back, not for the food but for the vibe.

I decided to try this place because the ambiance looked inviting. Honestly, the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the atmosphere--it's a nice setting. Beyond that, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. The food is extremely overpriced, and the quality is shockingly poor for a barbecue spot.I ordered a half-pound of brisket with a side, but my server never mentioned that the brisket doesn't come with any sides. So, I ended up paying $17 for just the brisket and another $7 for a mere 6 oz of mashed potatoes. On top of that, they added a 3% service charge.When my food finally arrived--after an agonizing 40-minute wait--it was barely warm, almost cold. Worse, the brisket was poorly prepared, with a thick layer of unrendered fat. At the very least, it should have been served hot, but instead, it felt like it had been sitting out.The service was just as bad. My waitress was nowhere to be found. I had to go to the front to get extra barbecue sauce and napkins myself because she never checked in. For a total of $29, this was a complete waste.I won't be coming back. Next time, I'll stick to Wood Ranch Grill, where the service is a thousand times better, and the portions are twice the size of what you get here.

Everything we ordered was decent, but nothing really stood out. The food was fine--not bad, but not memorable either. Service is on the slower side but nothing too bad. Given all the great dining options in Pasadena, there's nothing about this place that would make me want to return.The overall vibe was okay, and the experience wasn't terrible, just unremarkable. If you're in the area and craving BBQ, it's an option, but personally, I'd rather try somewhere else next time.

Five omnivores and a vegan. One of the best vegan burgers I've had in a while. Mushrooms were fried perfectly and the pretzel bun and vegan slaw was delicious. The guys got the chicken skewers, shrimp tacos and brisket tacos. Someone also got the Cesar Salad with double chicken. Our server was awesome! Very friendly, helpful and immediately ensured a missed order got done within the time the rest of the party was still eating. Will come back!

We came here on the day of Rose Parade! Yes, we are brave. LOL. It turned out to be a good choice. Since our bleacher seats for the parade are just about 10 minutes from the restaurant, we came right after the parade was and waited less than 30 minutes to be seated.The food is above my expectations! Many of the bbq restaurants drown their meats with cheap bbq sauces, not this one which is a big plus!I'm so impressed with the "meaty beef back ribs". It's so flavorful and again, not drown in cheap sauce! This takes work!The M.A.C. burger really lives up to it's name! So much meat and so fun to eat!!!!I'm not surprised it has over 7000 reviews on yelp!The restaurant is big, bright and airy. It's so festive and fun seeing football fans cheering for their teams!

BEST BBQ IN PASADENA. I love the MAC Rib and the Texas-style smoked short rib. The MAC Rib is amazing (reallyyyy tender smoked short rib meat and creamy mac and cheese stacked in a burger). It's huge and kinda messy to eat but my waitress offered me black gloves which made it so much easier to enjoy. I don't think they normally offer them but it was such a good idea and I appreciated it. The Texas-style smoked short rib was just as good so tender with smoky meat that falls apart and melts in your mouth.The restaurant has a casual and welcoming vibe and the staff were super friendly even though service was a little on the slower side. Parking can be a challenge since it's Pasadena but there are plenty of paid lots nearby if street parking is full. Portions are big and definitely worth the price so come very hungry.

The fact that they allow dogs inside on a cold day is really nice that was such a big speak to me. The feel and vibe is very retro and eclectic in a way. Lots of wood accents. Food is decent for a chain. They provided water for our pup. My pup had a pup burger he's really picky about food he devoured. Chelsea is an amazing server!!! She goes above and beyond. Thanks so much for a great experience.

Meh. The food is decent, but overpriced. The ambiance is just about perfect. The servers are great, but they're usually understaffed, making the service a bit poor. That's really perturbing because then it usually ends up being the overworked waitstaff who get punished (with smaller tips) and the management staff gets rewarded. I supposed it evens out when the waitstaff gets fed up and quits, and maybe that is happening now? I stop in for a happy hour glass of wine a few times per week. As mentioned, I like the ambiance and the staff. But nowadays, I hardly recognize anybody anymore. Where is Meg? She used to be a regular bartender who was the best in town, but it seems she doesn't work there anymore (or very little). Maybe this is a consequence of the poor management, I don't know. I'm a fan of history, but I hate to see the good staff become history!

My boyfriend and I had our anniversary dinner here, we loved the experience. From the food to the service it was amazing. Our server Jennifer was great!

Food was delicious, no waiting and our wait staff Katie was awesome!! Had the wagu burger!
