Delicious marinated raw crabs! So soft and fresh, yum. Leaning towards too flavorful but with the rice and banchan, it all still tastes amazing. We came on a Saturday around 4 pm and we were seated immediately. The waitress provided two dishes on the house which was really great: spicy monkfish head and a cabbage salad. Wait staff was attentive and timely. I highly recommend coming here.

A ridiculously bad and overpriced restaurant--5 people, $420. The dishes are as shown in the picture: a few unappetizing side dishes, two plates of crab, two sea urchin rice bowls, and a portion of beef. That's it. $420? Daylight robbery. At first, I didn't realize it was a Korean restaurant; I thought it was Teochew-style marinated seafood and was full of anticipation. But it was a huge disappointment. The crab was extremely salty, and the chef failed to suppress the fishy taste. The beef was overly sweet--pure sweetness, which was nauseating. I had never tasted beef like that before. Almost every dish was barely edible, making me want to throw down my chopsticks immediately. The whole dining experience was torture. If I hadn't been with friends, I would have put down my chopsticks, paid, and walked out without a second thought. Absolutely terrible--the worst of the worst.

Came on a weekday for lunch, luckily didn't have a wait, since I was looking forward to coming here and anticipated a wait. They were out of uni that day which was pretty disappointing. We ordered the 4. Raw Seafood Marinated in Soy Sauce5. Raw Crab with RiceIt may be that we ordered the wrong things but tbh everything was just okay. The flavors were very decent and the freshness was alright too.The banchan was pretty good and it came with tteokbokki too that was delicious.I'd say skip the two things I ordered.Btw parking is $5 valet in their lot.

My friends & I came here last night for dinner & we had a such a fun experience! The restaurant was small but luckily, we got seated right away. We ordered the soy marinated crab, uni bowl, & seafood soup to share & every dish was flavorful. The portion was plentiful for the 3 of us. The server (assuming the owner) had an awesome sense of humor, super friendly, & attentive towards us the entire time. She even taught us how to properly eat each dish by scooping & mixing different ingredients together so that we can enjoy the most flavor out of each fish. Her character showed great compassion for food & I really appreciated that! It was such a nice gesture of her to give us free service as well. I booked marked this place for the longest time & I'm glad I finally got to try it. I look forward to coming back soon.

*Review is based on the Soy Marinated Korea Crab*I arrived at noon on a Sunday and was seated right away. I ordered the #1 korea crab ($39.99) & it was the perfect serving for 1 person! The presentation of the crab was beautiful. I was disappointed in the freshness of the crab. Flavor was good in the body portion of the crab but lacking in claws. Felt like the claws wasn't marinated enough and didn't have enough flavor. As an avid lover of marinated crab, this meal was okay. Glad I tried it but would prefer other places in ktown over this. Freshness: 4.5/10Flavor: 6/10 Value: 5/10 Parking: the restaurant is situated around a small parking lot. had no issues at 12pm on sunday but might be packed during dinner times.

So excited to finally try this place! We came on a Saturday around 12pm, and me and my fiance were seated immediately. It's a fairly small restaurant, but there were only a few parties at the time. All the tables were filled after we left about an hour later, though! We ordered the soy marinated crab, spicy crab, and the seafood tofu soup. Rice is included too! Everything came out very quickly. The banchan was good, and they also gave us a complimentary salmon head! It had a nice flavor. Just a few minutes after the banchan arrived, they brought the crabs. I haven't had much raw crab before since it's not that common in the Bay Area yet, but this was definitely the best tasting crab I've had and it had no fishy aftertaste. I really liked both flavors, and my fiance liked the spicy one a little more. The staff were nice too. They had given a bowl of nori, imitation crab, seaweed, and fish egg that we didn't know what to do with. The worker came up to us and explained to squeeze the soy crab into the bowl and add rice and mix. They were out of the uni, so we ordered the seafood tofu soup since it was a cold day. It was super red, but not too spicy! It had a good amount of seafood too.Overall, I think the price was decent for what we got! It ended up being ~$100 after tip. I was stuffed after! I will definitely be back for the crabs, and hopefully can try the uni next time.

This is a really cozy restaurant that gives off authentic Korean restaurant vibes. You'll see a lot of pictures and signatures of celebrities that have eaten here. The soy marinated crab did have a bit of a briny old taste to it, but the spicy one and uni were DELICIOUS. I couldn't not get enough of it. Food comes out fairly quickly.

Revisited Crab House recently on a Friday night and was glad/surprised that there was no wait for our party of 5! Prior times I've visited, there would be a lot of people waiting + parking would be difficult but that was not the issue for us. I was really excited to take my friends here since it's been on their list for awhile. We ordered the soy marinated crabs (KR version), seafood pancake, the soy marinated seafood platter, braised short ribs, and the uni bowl. We ordered a decent amount and we were pleasantly surprised by the "service/on the house" salad and the salmon. We pretty much devoured everything. The soy marinated crabs were delicious but we wish they were a bit more meaty. We only got to try the Korean crabs which are supposed to be bigger than the U.S. ones. I've only had them at Crab House so I can't compare but my friends that have had it in Korea have preferred the ones they had in Korea which is far. I like how they provide a bowl with mixings so you can mix your rice + eat with the crabs. It's a perfect bite. The soy marinated seafood platter is always my favorite because the texture of everything is super soft. My favorite is probably the abalone on the platter. Presentation does change often because it looked a bit lackluster this time vs the previous times I've had it. The octopus was thin sliced and hidden on our plates even though last time there was none! It was a nice surprise also. We wanted to get the XL uni bowl for all of us to share but they ran out so we just got the Large which ended up allowing us one spoonful per person. It was a good spoonful but the uni was def smaller than we wanted them to be. The seafood pancake looked really crispy and delicious and it was but the dipping sauce they provided was overtly salty so it was not our favorite. We've definitely had better/bigger for the price we paid. Overall, I think it's worth trying at least once since there's not that many restaurants that have gejang still.

My first time trying raw marinated crab, and I wasn't disappointed. The soy marinated crab was succulent and deeply umami. It's a bit pricy for the portions but I enjoyed the experience. This place has a small restaurant feel and staff is friendly.
