First time here. Wanted to upload the menu and the face of the store. Every day they have different specials so what's on the menu might not be what they have for the days great variety of food and drinks. Onto Service: Service was quick and the person at the counter was helpful. He was very knowledgeable and had a great amount of recommendations for the day. Quick and easy to order. Food: Took about 10 minutes. Food came out really nice and hot. Smells great and the catfish is well seasoned, has a great taste, and there's a good balance between the fish and the breading. The Mac and cheese is cheesy, rich and creamy. The drink is refreshingly sweet and paired well with the catfish. They have a few tables outside and everything is nice and clean.I reallly enjoyed my meal and I hope to be back soon.

Now when I say this is the shiznit It most definitely is COOKIE ROSE. YA DID IT AGAIN. TASTE , PRESENTATION, QUALITY. Yams on point. Greens hitting. And boy o boy the ox tails Meattty. Oh and let's not forget the chitterings. SLAPPING. the wait is kinda long but. I would wait for good quality. SOULFOOD. PERIOD............

Finally we have a soul food / seafood spot that is reasonably priced & the food is on point. The owner is patient, professional, & friendly. Venue is small, parking can be tricky but where there's a will there's a way.

Food was great. Will be back for more without a doubt. Service was prompt and professional.

CookieRose is the place to be if you're looking for good ole' comfort food! The OXTAILS and the SHORT RIB are smoked to perfection paired with a side of greens and mac and cheese! The servings are plentiful so you definitely get what you pay for!

Food was fresh,flavorful and served hot! Music was playing! Good vibes! Staff was friendly and it was clean!!

This is by far a hidden gem in the heart of Los Angeles. Just the flavor alone was everything for this to be a small mom and pop please be kind and patient your food is cool to order.. we had the fried oxtails with sweet potatoes and black eyed peas and a special side gravy and grape lemonade. Wait I forgot to mention the banana puddin it was an yummy to my tummy experience.

Stopped by earlier this afternoon to get a small chicken dinner honestly I'll tell you it is very super delicious seasoning is not overpowering. Well recommended Staff is very friendly as well. if you're in the area please stop by the parking to be a little tricky, but it certainly well worth it.!

Let me start off by saying, the customer service was horrible. Was left unattended for over 10 minutes, then the wait time was supposed to be approximately 15 minutes. I waited over 30 minutes for LOW QUALITY food. I ordered the catfish dinner with mac & cheese and yams for $25. 2/10!!! The fish was fried entirely too hard, the mac & cheese had NO FLAVOR and was stuck together, and the yams just weren't sweet at all. Didn't receive any utensils or the condiments I asked for I was told "It's already in the bag". Not a very friendly environment & parking wasn't convenient. I wouldn't recommend this CookieRose, save your money and time.

dude said $20 for some oysters 5 for $20 blk ppl, not even the top restaurant charge that much. Not even a half dozen
