Clean diner! Food not too greasy and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Super friendly and attentive servers too. I recommend the omelettes, huevos rancheros, their coffee, and baked goods. Only, come early in the day if you want the full baked goods selection (no cardamom buns were available at around 1 PM)Plus this place has the cutest dish ware. I love it and it adds to the aesthetic:)

Clark Street Diner is a my go-to local spot for an easy, classic breakfast. The corned beef hash is and their breakfast sandwich are standouts, with fresh ingredients and a great sourdough. The diner has a relaxed, nostalgic feel and has friendly service with no frills. Definitely one of my favorite easy breakfast/lunch places in the area.

Classic Diner in the Hollywood Hills. Just North of the Freeway and on Franklin Avenue near the 101. I think where the last Diner scene of Swingers was shot. In the basement / Street Front of The Adler Hollywood Hills Hotel.Milkshakes, coffee, fresh baked pies & pastries as well as all the typical Diner staples. Reasonably priced for LA / Hollywood.Service is friendly without being pushy & efficient. Place is normally busy but the Counter always seems open.

During the weekend, this place is packed. However, if you can manage the time to visit on a weekday morning, you will walk right in. Great breakfast/brunch food with amazing customer service.

Food was great and I understand it was busy this morning but the vibes were very off with the service. Even just to get seated was off. The guy said our party's name and we asked if he had indeed said the name and he looked at us and walked outside to announce it out there, completely ignoring us. He came back in and we tried to confirm the name again and of course it was us. While ordering my father asked for tortillas instead of bread with his breakfast and the server made an example of him for the rest of the meal. She was extremely adamant about him getting bread and they have a bakery and it's really good and we could just get a bag of tortillas from the store? Understandable suggestion but definitely no need to bring it up heavily every single time you check on us it felt mean spirited. Not sure if any of this was racially motivated but it was super uncomfortable!

Dining here feels like the quintessential Los Angeles diner culture experience. The decor in here feels retro or it purposefully wasn't updated to keep the original aesthetic. Everyone I interacted with here and the service was great as well. In terms of food, the menu looks like it's your normal diner fare or at least what you would expect to find at diners, which is great! I came here specifically for a promotional event involving the Fallout show on Amazon. It was a deal where you get a cheeseburger and a soda inspired by the show for $3.33! Such a great deal! The burger was great, and the soda was fun. I ordered an additional side of fries to go with my burger, which were also delicious. When I got there, the line was long as expected but luckily, I was waiting in line with some other like-minded folks who were very cool to talk to. I finally got seated at the bar, which I was hoping for to begin with.Just a great place and a great diner. I would love to come back and try their regular menu at some point.

Cute, little retro diner that packs a modern take on diner food. I had an almond waffle that was a little dry but tasty and what appeared to be house made breakfast sausage that had a kick to it. Coffee was all it should be but strangely only came with one spoon between the two cups. The breakfast burrito was a standout, plump and delicious. Our waitress was friendly despite having served some temperamental customers nearby.

This is a great spot with some fantastic coffee options! You can park either on the street or in the back, though the parking lot charges $10. The cappuccino and mocha are absolutely divine--I'd come back just for the coffee alone! The service was decent, but the food was a bit hit-or-miss. The Reuben sandwich was disappointing, with only two thin slices of roast beef, which felt really stingy. On the other hand, the French toast was thick, juicy, and delicious. Overall, it's a great place to try, and I'll definitely be back for the coffee!

I've been wanting to try CSD for awhile now (after i found out meg shot one her videos here) and finally got around to it! I went on a Sunday and baby it was jumping! The vanilla iced oat latte was so yummy, next time I'll opt for bfast food bc i wasn't too fond of the fried chicken sandwich. But the vibes and service was great for it to be so busy, definitely will be back for that avocado toast (: and hopefully will have a more positive update to my review (:

We came on bingo night, so it was a little loud and chaotic, but the food and service was good regardless. I got the french toast while my friend got the chocolate pancakes. While the French toast was delicious, the pancakes was the show stealer hands down and I've been thinking about the little bite I got to try since. The sourdough toast was also delicious and I look forward to coming back soon. Street parking; it says parking in back lot, but I don't know where the lot is.
