Amazing Thai restaurant! Came here for lunch with a friend. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and was super excited to finally go. Civilize Thai Bistro is located in Beverly Hills not far from Rodeo Drive. When you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it and has numerous seats. Due to the size of the establishment, if you are coming here for a large dinner, I would suggest making reservations or calling the restaurant to ensure seating. My friend and I ordered from the lunch special which seems to be on the menu everyday, even on the weekend. I ordered the orange chicken while my friend ordered the basil Thai dish. Both dishes were delicious and were a great size. I even had enough for leftovers! Before our entrees, we were given delicious salad and the dishes both came with egg rolls. The food and service were excellent and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend!

PARKING: Tough. This hole in the wall is on a busy section of So. Santa Monica Blvd. SERVICE: EXCELLENT!AMBIANCE: Nice, but very simple, except that they do provide a few pleasant outside tables. FOOD: In order to compare Thai restaurants, you need to choose some foods that are served in virtually all Thai restaurants: Ergo, we chose PAD THAI (the National Dish Of Thailand), THAI ICED TEA, FRiED EGG ROLLS, FRIED RICE, AND TOM YUM SOUP. Their Pad Thai came in 4 versions: Plain, with Tofu, with chicken, and with shrimp. I tend to choose Shrimp (unless I'm dining with vegetarians, in which case it's Tofu). The Pad Thai in this place was good (4 stars), but not great (i.e. 5 stars), and I'll be damned if I can tell you why it did not achieve greatness. The Thai Iced Tea was also good (4 stars), but not great. There was a distinctly DIFFERENT FLAVOR to this iced tea. And while I found it pleasant, many at the table did not. The Fried Veggie Egg Rolls were definitely nothing special (3 stars). They are served as part of the Luncheon Special. You can find the equivalent at most other asian restaurants. The highlight of the meal was the Tom Yum Soup; VERY TASTY and not too spicy. I was impressed by the number of ORIGINAL (NATIVE) Thai spices remained at the bottom of my soup dish, after I had drained out the liquid. (Definitely a strong 5 STARS). We took advantage of the 5 lunch specials - priced at $14.99, roughly 1/2 the price of a full entry. Perfect for the kids, as they included rice, 1 egg roll, salad (simple, but with delicious dressing) plus the entree dish (the kids enjoyed the orange chicken = 3.5 stars) and the fried rice (4stars). So what can I say? The quality of the food could be better (when compared to other Thai Restaurants). but they offer great value: Outside dining, $14.99 lunch specials, and BYOB. And keep in mind, they offered 11 salads, 7 soups, a number of variations on fried rice and noodle dishes, none of which I tried. Will I be back? Damn Right! I've got to try some of these other dishes!1

This place is a gem! We found this restaurant by accident, but were surprisingly amazed at their food. They offer a variety of comfort Thai food. We ordered Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Tom Ka, Thai Fried Rice, and Duck Panang Curry, and all of them tasted great. We got out of our comfort zone with Duck Panang Curry, but it didn't disappoint us. The meat was juicy, while curry was rich and flavorful. There are street parking. Staff was very nice and friendly. The place is small but cozy, so I highly recommend you to make a reservation before you come.

A relatively new Thai spot in Beverly Hills. We came by on a quiet Friday night. The decor is charming and the food was authentic and tasty. We started with the Tom Ka soup in a hot pot and it was warm and hearty. We also tried the Green Curry, Rib Eye Panang special-(which I won't recommend because every bite of meat had fat on it) -and Garlic shrimp Noodles and ended it with a very yummy Mango Sticky rice dessert. Gina took care of us and was sweet in helping us figure out what to order. Definitely a good place to try out when you're craving some Thai food!

We love coming here. They are very friendly and serves fast. Their lunch special is daily even weekends! I love how they can customize the lunch special - no rice double salad and strictly veggie - yum! We love all the curry lunch specials.

Came here for lunch with my friend and boyfriend.Metered parking was available on Santa Monica Blvd and I didn't have an issue finding a spot!I got pad Thai with Thai tea. The pad Thai was delicious and flavorful, nice portion size too. The Thai tea came room temperature and wasn't as flavorful as I'd wanted. The Thai coffee was also lacking in flavor and tasted off to me. The lunch special came with a small salad (yum! No complaints) and an egg roll (very good.)The interior was very cute, and service was attentive. All in all, very solid place.

We were in Beverly Hills for an event and wanted to grab a bite before hand. Yelped had resulted in leading us to this charming quaint Thai restaurant. The ambience is welcoming and comfortable. The restroom is clean. The service is outstanding. The food is authentic and delicious. The pricing is fantastic. We've ordered the Drunken noodle and Pad See Ew. Both have that smokey flavor. The sauces weren't overly sweet. The Thai ice tea over flavorful and creamy. Overall, a great place to get Thai food.
