Dakgalbi is easily one of my favorite Korean dishes. My friend made reservations for us on a Friday night and highly recommend doing this as there can be a wait in the evenings on weekends. They give you a few banchan (Korean side dishes), which I love. Their dakgalbi is huge! It comes with chicken, rice cakes, cabbage, green onions, and sweet potatoes. We added cheese top and their one pot was enough for three people. At first we thought it was not enough food when it came out but I always forget how filling rice cakes can be. We even had leftovers. I felt like medium spicy was just enough, maybe we could have gone up another level or two. You can opt for rice at the end. Definitely don't miss out on the kimchi fried rice!

came for dinner time and there was no wait. we got stir fried chicken mild and corn cheese. the chicken was $29.99 but you would have to order a minimum of 2 orders of the chicken so it'll be $60. it actually came with chicken and lots of veggies plus sides and our server gave us free fried chicken. the food was overall good, it was chicken covered with sweet savory sauce and I think it'll be good with fried rice afterwards. I think this is more than enough for 2 people and would be better if more people went. 2x spicy stir fried chicken + corn cheese - $68

Never thought chicken could be so good. You might balk at what they charge for a pair of chicken thighs, but eating out these days isn't cheap, and all the varieties of grilled chicken we tried were tasty. The pork is quite good too, and the fried rice is excellent - have had some of their competitors lately and they exceed almost all of them. Service is excellent, they help you cook, and the vibe is modern k-town despite not looking all that fancy. As of this review the valet is dirt cheap too.

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the dak galbi which requires at least two people portion. It's $29.99 per person so you are looking at about $60 for two people portion. I personally think that's a little pricey but given inflation and everything, I guess that's the reality. Food came out relatively fast and lady who served our table was kind and attentive to us... maybe because I spoke to her in Korean. Portion was just right for two people IMO. You have the option to add on stuff but they cost more so we opted to not add anything. I also liked that they have the "sampler" portion size available for noodles at the end for less price. Cold noodle was a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, I think this place typically only attracts fobs since it's not a common dish that you hear of, but I recommend you still give it a try! Dak galbi is a popular traditional dish in Korea and it's easy to eat since it'a chicken which we are all accustomed to eating.

It was my first time to try this menu in LA. I went there with my son and friend. My son told me he wants to eat sesame leaves, and owner overheard and kindly brought more sesame leaves for my son. We ordered fried chicken and this spicy chicken, and both were very good! Kimchi as a side dish also was very tasty. Their service was fast and friendly, and food was tasty, so i couldn't find anything negative. I will definitely visit again.

I discovered dakgalbi when I went to Korea and have been craving it since. When i found Chuncheon in Koreatown, i knew i had to make a trip down to LA. Warning! When you order dakgalbi, you have to order a minimum of 2 orders but 2 orders can easily feed 4+ people. We came in as 2 and ended up spending $90 after all the add ons and had a whole lotta leftovers that we couldn't really save since we were just visiting. We order dakgalbi with kimchi fried rice and veggies but they made a mistake and gave us rice cakes instead. We opted not to say anything because once the order came out, we saw how big the portion was that if we got rice, we wouldn't have made a dent. They cook everything for you in front of you and let you know when it's ready to just eat out of the stone grill. Service is quick, price is quite steep for 2 so I recommend coming with others.

Favorite dak gal bi place! Hot isn't as spicy as you'd think :) Make sure you have some room for the fried rice afterwards!

Walked in one evening because yupdduk closed early and we were hungry. The dakgalbi (spicy chicken) was delicious and we added an order of kimchi fried rice which came out towards the end and soaked up the remaining sauce. Came back a second time and my friends liked it too. Both times the smallest portion was enough for 3 of us. One of my new favorite spots for korean food.
