Chinatown Express No 51

This place serves up very large portions of food.I usually eat here twice a week.This place is kept very clean.When you first walk in you are greeted with a Welcome.I usually only order one or two different entries, I like getting the broccoli and beef and the orange chicken and sometimes I get the string bean chicken.I also get the chicken by itself and I'd like getting two eggrolls with it.I highly recommend this place to others.

The portion was immense, but the flavor was not very good. The only reason I gave them two stars as the orange chicken (not pictured) was pretty good. The rest of the food was mid. The lo mein was the strangest color I've ever seen in my life. I've had Chinese food all over the states and world and never seen lo mein this color before. I can only imagine how many chemicals and additives must be in this food. I rather get decent Americanized Chinese food at Panda Express.

I got my contractors lunches from here. The food seems fresh. They have a combo for $8.99 where it's one protein and fried rice and chow mein. It is fair. Panda Express across the street has two items for $5.99 every time Dodgers win a home game. That's a really good deal. $8.99 for one item is fair. The service was good. Owners are efficient. There's a $0.75 cent charge for credit cards for items below $25.

VERMIN INFESTATION. Place is Shut Down. This used to be my favorite for years. Not anymore. I'll NEVER GO there again.

Where do I begin the lady serving the food had an attitude didn't greet anybody. Don't get me wrong. I love going to this place. The food is good, but the customer service is horrible. There was another guy on his phone, not acknowledging anybody and he was serving people. If you want people coming back, I think they need to work on greeting people and good customer service.

One of the best quick and big portion style chinese food. This is my first time at Chinatown Express, and it's a delightful surprise that they serve chow fan along with chow mein. All their servings look fresh and appetizing. And it tastes pretty alright especially at the price point. Definitely will come again. Be prepared for a queue if you come during peak hours.

The food here is very consistent. The spicy beef and broccoli beef are my go to here. I usually prefer orange chicken but it is pretty meh here.

Really good food here. If you try the shrimp soup it's so delicious. Lots of choices and I definitely recommend this spot to everyone I know. The orange chicken is the best.

Ive eaten here a few times before with no issues but today it was terrible.The taste was weird, super greasy and there was a piece of glass or plastic IN my orange chicken.

I've gone to several of these express cafeteria style Chinese food places, and sometimes they slap, which is why I keep trying them. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice and I promise you, I don't even think it was real chicken. It was dark meat and tasted really funny. It's hard to explain it, but it didn't taste right and i am almost certain this is what got me sick with a stomachache and diarrhea for a couple wks after.Prices are very affordable but again, not worth the stomach bug. Side note: Yelp really needs to do something about these obviously fabricated reviews made more recently in attempt to raise the average rating.
