Came by for dinner with a friend on a weekday and was impressed by the selection. They have a simple menu -- it was around $39.99 per person for dinner AYCE hot pot but their lunch price is only around $26.99. They also have a premium menu but the original already gave us more than we could finish (all of the pictured). The staff was very friendly, constantly clearing finished plates and asking if we were doing alright. They also didn't rush us at all, so it was a pleasant experience. The place itself is clean and well decorated, and there was a good selection of meats, veggies and seafood.

Came on a Friday night at 5:30pm. We were the first ones there, a party of 4. We were seated immediately. They explained the different options to us. There was a regular AYCE hot pot, a premium AYCE hot pot, AYCE BBQ skewers and AYCE hot pot and skewers. We opted for the premium AYCE hot pot. The premium included unlimited large prawns, raw oysters on the shell, frog legs, pig brain and wagyu beef. The premium option was $8 more. I really only eat the oysters. The wagyu beef was not fatty at all. So if you aren't into the premium items, the regular option on it's own was pretty good. Everything was buffet style where you get it yourself including the meat, seafood, veggies, appetizers, dessert and drinks (alcohol and canned drinks not included). They even had blue crab. Meat options included Angus beef, beef belly, lamb shoulder and pork belly. There's also an extensive sauce bar. For the soup base you can choose up to 3 soup bases. We got the bone, tomato and the butter spicy. The soup bases were light on flavor so you do need the sauces. The tomato soup took a while to boil cause it was thicker. I liked the bone soup the best. They have a 2 tiered shelf on the side of the table so you can put more dishes which is pretty smart. Service was good. They came to pick up empty dishes constantly, the premium items we ordered and came out quickly. They bring you all the premium items on the first round. They are located in a newer plaza with plenty of parking. Next time I want to come back to try out their ayce unlimited BBQ skewers. The skewers are cooked and brought out to you. This was a good location for hot pot too.

This new hotpot place was good. The prices for ayce hotpot and hotpot with skewers was nice to evaluate and figure out what you wanted to eat. The meat selection was dependent upon what was premium or not and what was not premium could be taken out in the fridge. The overall meat was very high quality. Lamb, beef etc. The buffet area had a nice assortment of items. Fish skins, julienned potatoes, frozen tofu, veggies, lotus root, quail eggs, prawns, pig ears and wood ear mushroom and many others are a large variety of hotpot items. The staff was attentive and great at getting our orders. The lack of tongs and other utensils for cooking that we had to grab for ourselves was a bit disappointing that we shouldn't have to ask when grabbing noodles or other items that are hard to grasp. The pot itself comes with 3 different soup bases of your choice which is nice. The parking is decent and next to a lot of restaurants and un1que tea which is a nice place to go after a hefty meal. Overall I'd come back to this place and the pricing was decent for ayce.

We made a reservation for 8 people here at 8:30 Friday and were seated right when we arrived. This place is surprisingly good with pretty fresh ingredients and a great selection of options for hotpot/bbq. We ended up opting for the regular hotpot for $36 and it didn't disappoint. You get to select which type of pot you want but we ended up getting the Trio with 3 different soup bases. I would totally recommend getting the bone broth, it was the best IMO.In terms of food everything tasted good including the pork blood. Everything is self service including the meat is located inside the fridge. Drinks were included so we grabbed soda via the soda machine. I liked that the meats came in small portions (5-6 pieces per plate) so we didn't have to get too much of just one item. Personally I thought the hotpot was enough but if you like to have bbq/skewers as well then getting the premium luxury option might be the way but it is expensive. It's a nice spot with great seating for up to 8-10 people. Would totally be back!Parking - Not super great but they do have a lot. It fills up so but street parking nearby is also available.

Hidden gem in the SGV that serves ayce hotpot and now skewers for lunch service only! All the meat, sauces , sides and drinks are self serve. Restaurant is clean with cute wall decor and small parking lot behind the building. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for delicious soup broth!

I wish you could do the hopot and the bbq skewer ala carte but alas they don't allow! the hotpot is pretty fun since you can pick up whatever you want and cook itWe chose all (3) soups which was not necessary since it all starts to taste the same = deliciousEspecially with the sauce bar you can go a bit crazyFood is all fresh and if its empty you can ask them to refill which they actually do with haste. It was quite busy when we went so probably understaffed for a weekdayThe skewers looked good, they come from the back since its all cooked in the kitchen, it gets pretty pricey if you decide to do both AYCE options,The people next door were there for hours getting their moneys worthOverall its a fun experienceI will say the table design is bothersome I personally was sit in the corner and its hard to reach the hotpot thats in the center of the table

Can't choose between AYCE Hot Pot or BBQ? You don't have to @chihuo_hotpot in San Gabriel, California. This Chinese Sichuan-style restaurant also doesn't make you choose just one soup base either There are endless options for ingredients at their self-service station, including refrigerators of pre sliced cuts of meat: 2 options of beef, 1 lamb and 1 pork belly. Thankfully the meat skewers are cooked to perfection for you, which I find nice to taste and enjoy while waiting for my hotpot to cook

You'd be happy to know that this time I did eat my weight in meat instead of veggies...and that's probably because I was surprised by how good the quality of meat was for being AYCE. You can order a select few from the QR code but they have a fridge stocked with plenty of other meat options. There's also a sauce bar, side dish bar, fried food bar, and veggies/toppings bar. Safe to say, they have you covered in all ways and it's worth the price point, but go hungry. Spicy butter is the best broth in my opinion closely followed by bone broth.I came here for my hot pot craving but for just $8 more, they offer AYCE Chinese-style BBQ aka skewers so I upgraded and didn't regret it. The service is pretty quick and the layout is nice except that the chairs were a bit uncomfortable because they were so upright. Regardless, the food was good and there's a pretty spacious parking lot attached to it.

I came in for lunch on a weekend, and the place was fairly empty with just a few other diners. This is a new AYCE hot pot spot with two tiers: A & B. We went with Combo B, the most expensive tier at $43.99, which includes everything in A plus special items like wagyu beef, oysters, Argentine shrimp, pork brains, frog legs, and goose intestine. The special items are all you can eat but must be ordered through the server, while everything else is self-serve, including sauces, sodas, and other hot pot items.I have to admit, they had a lot of hot pot options, and the premium items like the frog legs and oysters were pretty good. However, the beef didn't feel like true wagyu, and in general, the meat quality wasn't as high as at other spots in general. The service was good, and they got us all the items we requested.I will be down to come back in the future with more people. For an all-you-can-eat hot pot spot, this place is definitely a solid contender.

Visited for the first time on a Friday evening. We had a group of 7 so my husband called the day before to place a "reservation" but they didn't seem too worried about seating our group. Parking was a bit of a challenge as there are a few businesses that share the parking lot. One inside, it was lively but not too packed and we were seated right away. Our wait staff was helpful in explaining their process and once we decided which menu item we wanted and our broths we were left alone most the time to serve ourselves and pick our add-ins. Some of the items weren't labeled so we weren't always sure what we were choosing, but everything was delicious!
