We six people recently visited Chef Tony Restaurant at the Courtyard Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience! The dim sums are absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that are full of flavor and made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a meal with friends or family. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, I feel it's definitely worth it. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience justifies the cost. If you're looking for a place to enjoy some amazing dim sum in a lovely setting, Chef Tony is definitely a spot to check out!

My recent visit to Chef Tony was a bit better than my previous one. There was more consistency and all of the dishes were decent. Service was good like last time. WAIT TIMEI'm not sure about wait times since I don't come here all the time. There are so many mixed reviews on this online. Some have said they've had to wait an hour for a table. I didn't have any wait. The food came out at a reasonable rate too. I don't think they take reservations for lunch. PARKINGThe parking situation is one of the best. Since this restaurant is inside the Marriott, parking is in the underground garage. This is great for when the weather is bad. I've also never had issues finding a parking spot. Chef Tony also validates parking tickets.

A 3-star restaurant is a middle-of-the-road restaurant for me that I most likely will not come back to again. We were very excited to get reservations to this restaurant which I believe is an offshoot of the one located in Vancouver BC that has been on my list for a long time now. We visited after attending the Rose Parade and they were busy. We ordered the usual suspects of dim sum items. For me, siu mai is the benchmark for dim sum restaurants but unfortunately the truffle overpowers everything. I think I am still burping up essence of truffle oil. The ha gow is better and the shrimp was bouncy and crunchy. I think of the dishes we ordered, I most enjoyed the chicken feet which was not too salty and the egg lava buns. On the pricier side, but it is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. It's located inside a Courtyard Marriott and the parking is validated.

I liked Chef Tony's, service was good, food was good. It was just a little pricey. Highlights include lou mei gei (stocky lotus wrapped rice) and shrimp Cheung fen. (Ha Cheung). I would go back if I was at the hotel.

We wanted some dim sum and found this place. A bit far from where we at but it was worth to go there. We ordered a lot of food for 3people but it was lunch time so some of menu were cheaper than menu. I loved hot and sour soup but I wouldn't recommend this place for that. Squid dumplings are must try it. Stir Fried Rice Noodle with Beef was a bit salty and it was ok but I ate better than this place anywhere else before. Lobster was fresh but the sauce was great tasted than other places too. Some of sever wasn't speak English so if you can't speak Chinese as me then they change server who can speak English for you. Very clean and nice places. Don't forget ask them to parking validation.

Great dim sum. A bit pricey but service is fast and the food has always tasted good. Conveniently inside Marriot and they have a parking lot. Have been there 2 times and I plan on going back!

Ambiance: it's located on the ground level inside the Marriott hotel, bright and cozy dining area Service: very friendly and attentively served water and placed the order, patient with requests and cleaned table fastFood: plenty choices on their menu for classic Cantonese food, note lunch and dinner are very different, generally overpriced dim sum and other dishes BBQ Pork - **** tasty and tender meat, recommend Shrimp and Pork Dumpling with Black Truffle - *** the Siu Mai wasn't made freshly and steamed from frozen, broken skin and ordinary taste Fried Crispy Noodle with Assorted Seafood - ** lack of flavors and gritty vegetables, apparently not being cleaned well Price: small to large portions depending on what you order, expect $30+ per person

I enjoy the ambiance, service, clean bathrooms and parking for dinner here. Limited dinner menu but overall well executed. The food is very good but not the best in SGV. I willingly pay a slight premium to come here for a comfortable dinner. Finally a place that feels like eating in a hotel in Asia.

Enjoyed lunch here during a break for a meeting. Located in the Courtyard Marriott, Chef Tony specializes in dim sum. A menu is provided by waitstaff with food items to check off on your order. Each item is brought to the table individually. We ordered shrimp dumplings ginger chicken dumplings, wontons, stir fried noodles with vegetables and sweet and sour pork. My favorite is the wontons, very tasty. Moderate noise level and crowd during weekday lunch time with lots of natural light. Very Good

It is a fancy dim sum restaurant. This restaurant is located inside a newly build hotel by the 10 freeway in Monterey Park. Location is very convenient. Underground parking garage is available. Servers are friendly and services were prompt. They often refill our empty tea pot with hot water. We ordered the food by marking what we want to order on a paper menu. This is not a traditional dim sum restaurant where you will see a dim sum cart. Dim sum variety is good, and they all tasted decent. They are now offering VIP card if we spend more then $100. The VIP card allows us to get 10% off dining at this restaurant in the same location. The only reason I took a star away is because it is more on the pricy side, and dim sum is only decent.
