Oh Man! I've found my new favorite Chinese takeout spot. I'm a native Angeleno who lived in San Francisco for 8.5 years and just thought SF had way better Chinese food. I've ordered from here twice now and I will be a regular!Everything I've tried has been delicious and they have amazing buy one get one free deals on Uber Eats! Things I've tried:Hot and Sour SoupGeneral Tso ChickenOrange ChickenMongolian BeefBroccoli BeefHoney Walnut ShrimpEggrollsChicken Lo MeinAll delicious and all worth getting!

Ordered takeout and was so pleasantly surprised by how fresh and fantastic our dinner was! We got the orange chicken and the chow mein, both were so tasty, hot and fresh.

Second time ordering from Chef Ming's (it's the closest Chinese take-out to my house). Food is very good (highly recommend the Chinese vegetables with black mushrooms and the mu shu chicken), but I found the hot & sour soup to taste a little salty (perhaps it was the vinegar rather than salt?) Will definitely order again when we're in the mood for Chinese food.

This is a 'to go' Chinese place (plus they do have a few counter seats) that has a massive menu including a vegan and vegetarian menu which is so hard to find on the westside for some reason. They will adjust items and customize for you. Reminds me of the great Chinese places in NYC or Chicago. Love their veggie dishes- really fresh.

My Chinese wife and I thought this was the worst Chinese restaurant in LA. 0 for 4.No sauce, no flavor I complained to the manager and they did nothing. Obviously I won't be returning.

We don't live in the area and tried it on a whim after visiting the patisserie in the same complex...was not disappointed! It's a walk-up with just a few stools so really meant for takeaway. Everything is made fresh to order, the chicken dishes are made with chicken breast and everything was delicious! Fried rice, Kung Pao chicken, noodles, Mu Shu pork--will have this again, soon.

We got the Orange flavored beef and it was SUPER CRISPYYYY!! Even after they sauced it, It was still crispy! We did eat it in the moment so it was fresh, if you get take out it might get a little soggy. Highly recommend it, whenever I come back to LA I'll definitely be back for this dish (: They only had two tables outside and bar seating against the wall inside so a little limited

*Chef Ming's Does Good Things*This review is sooo long overdue...I've lost count how many times I've ordered takeout & delivery from Chef Mings Kitchen over the past 25 years. And just the fact they've been within the same corner complex on Olympic & Le Peer in Beverly Hills for so long, proves they're doing good things the right way. In the past there were times I'd order delivery once to 3x times a week. Seriously. Because their food is/was seriously that good & fresh. Even during my 10 year vegan career, not much changed for me as I always ordered the mixed steamed veggie plate with brown rice, veggie spring rolls & steamed dumplings too (yes there's a little egg in the coating of the rolls ;) And their veggie Lo Mein is pretty-pretty-pretty good too. What I'm always so impressed with is no matter what time & day of the week, my food is always delivered piping hot in record time from the same friendly gentleman. And for takeout my order is always ready when I arrive...and when I'd walk-in to order takeout, I can see them quickly preparing my food. And get this ~ they've never made any mistake with my orders ~ even for special requests. The restaurant is fairly small and there's not really anywhere to sit & eat. But I refrain from calling this place a hole-in-the-wall because it's always clean and its simple red & white decor is welcoming and works for me. They do lots of takeout orders and tend to get very busy so don't take it personally if they don't have time to chit-chat with you. But they're all very pleasant hardworking peeps. My favorite thing about Chef Mings is they have a "Healthy Menu" and all the food is steamed. My favorite item is the Steamed Fish & Veggies and during my non vegan days was & still is my go-to fave. I also love their Steamed Mixed Seafood Delight. And my wife digs it too. Parking Tip: the lot on the Olympic Blvd side of the complex is often packed like a can of sardines ~ especially during peak hours...but there's another underground parking lot on the S La Peer Dr side. There's not too many Chinese food options in BH but I'm thrilled that Chef Ming's is one of the remaining few. And my happy tummy too.

The food is delicious, chow fun noodles were amazing as well as the fried rice and other noodle dishes! The service is excellent, can call in and pick up or order there and take out. The cashier is amazing, so friendly, enthusiastic, and most helpful. Love this place. Talk to her about visiting National Parks, she has great knowledge.
