This is my fave KBBQ in Orange County! We came in on a Tuesday night, it wasn't busy, so the service started off slow. It was our first time coming on a slow night, I think we'll stick to weekends lol. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh. I highly recommend just doing the more expensive menu option for the premium meats...SO WORTH IT!Great service regardless of being slow. They were quick to bring out anything we requested and did everything with a smile. 100% would recommend to friends :)

I really wanted to like this place because of how nice the customer service was. But I just cant get past how terrible the food was. It was painfully obvious they used cheap meats and when Im paying $38.99 I expect it to at the very least be decent. I think this is the only ayce kbbq that I didnt earn my money back because I just didnt want to eat anything else. When they fuck up on thin cut pork belly you know the place cant be good. While the wait time and over place looked great I just couldnt dismiss how bad the meat was. To go more in depth of how bad the meat tasted, the thin cut pork belly had a weird metallic taste and was extremely tough. If youve ever had thin cut pork belly then you know maximum you have two bites for one piece of meat. The fact it took around 30 secounds for me to actually be able to eat it proves the low quality. Next was the marinated baby octopus which I usually love as it has a unique texture and it isnt overly fishy tasting. This was the complete opposite here. The texture was somehow tough and slimey while the taste was so fishy I thought I was eating fish instead. It was so bad I spit it out into a napkin. Lastly was the sirloin steak. I mean this with my whole soul when I say seeing the thinly sliced piece of sirloin we go then watching it grill just made me sad. It reminded me of a tough piece of leather because of how tough it was. Plus a part of it had a gross slimey texture. There was many more things that just over all made me feel so depressed to eat there and pay almost $40 for such bad quality meat. I honestly just feel so bad for the employees because they were absolutely amazing. Such a shame at the poor sometimes inedible meat quality.

Went yesterday for the the first time in a few years. I haven't been back since before the pandemic. (Btw I thought I finished this review but i just realized now i never did and it's just in a draft. Oops. Gonna finish it now).So as usual, the place hasn't changed much now that the pandemic is basically over and things have for the most part gone back to how they were. Unfortunately, the menu has changed drastically since they've gotten back to full operations. Their selections on both menus are nowhere near as big and diverse as they used to be. A huge downer is they don't serve duck anymore. I loved it when they used to serve duck with the B-menu (The more expensive one). Price is still cool at 39.99 though so I still go with that. The servers are still all young people who are pretty good at what they do even though a completely different set of servers than who I used to see last time I've gone, but all are pretty attentive. The primary server was Angie. She was great. A real sweetheart and took good care of me. Made sure she checked on me regularly and offered to change my grill frequently. The only beef I really ordered was the sliced beef short rib. After going here for so many years altogether it still doesn't disappoint. I had like maybe 4 servings of that. With some rice and rice paper, POW! Greatness. Their sides are still pretty good their spicy salad, potato salad, fishcake strips, etc still good. I can go a whole meal with just sliced beef short rib. I don't need brisket, beef belly, etc, but damn I wish they still had duck. What a sucky way to cut corners and be cheap there lol. Parking is still eh. Not too bad. They're still never open for lunch only 5-10 7 days a week. Wish they'd be open for lunch at least on the weekends but whatever. So yeah, overall, still a good experience. I just still wish they had duck. I live in San Bernardino County now so I only go there these days if I had business somewhere within 10 miles from there which is why I went that day but I'm glad I went. Thanks guys and thanks Angie. I'll be back!

Always great service no matter how busy it is. Quality of meat has been consistent for years, will continue coming back as long as the quality stays the same!

I decided to give this place another go and wow what a difference! I like that multiple servers check in on your table so not only do you get your order quickly but it also helps out all servers if they get busy with a different table and whatnot. I am pleasantly surprised with how their service improved. Their quality in meats is great and the price is great for the amount of options you have to choose from. The egg pot and tofu soup is a must try here. Clean restaurant and they the sports channels on for those looking to dine and catch the game. I will definitely be coming back again!

Very good kbbq and strong service. Pro tip: ask for the salted oil dip/sauce (there's a different name for it but they'll know what you're asking for). Ice cream at end is nice and should be a universal offer at all kbbq spots
