We had such an amazing dinner here. The fish and seafood were so fresh and perfectly prepared, and the tostadas were creative but still balanced--just really high-quality, thoughtful food. The place is being run by one super passionate and professional dude. He took a moment to share how tough (and expensive) it is to keep high-quality ingredients, especially with seafood that doesn't last long.We tipped double bc It felt good supporting a local business with such a vision, who took a big risk to open this spot

Back again to say Ceviche Project in Silverlake is STILL a true hidden gem that shines bright in the East side food scene. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm & intimate vibe that feels both chic and welcoming. A taste of Miami in La! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and they make you feel like you're part of their family. But the real star of the show? The ceviche. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors that transport you straight to the coast. Whether you're savoring their classic ceviche or diving into one of their more inventive takes, every bite is a perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and sweet. The fish is melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the ingredients are top-notch, highlighting the best of local and seasonal produce.Don't miss out on their wines either--they're as carefully crafted as the food, with unique flavors that pair beautifully with the dishes.

My friends and I came to Ceviche project as it's been on my to try list. The place is cute and intimate. The food was excellent, we got the green agua chile, snapper ceviche, toro salmon , and sea bass. It was served with home made tostada. I was really impressed with the flavor and the quality of fish. I was expecting everything to be sour from the citrus typically used in ceviche but they did a beautiful job in creating subtle and delicious flavors. The food looked great as well! I would definitely comeback and recommend this place. The service was great. Gratuity is already included in your bill.

Checked out The Ceviche Project, and honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. It's a one-man operation, so the service is pretty slow. The drinks and food seemed premade, and nothing really stood out, especially considering the price. I had the seafood dish with pomegranate seeds, and the seeds didn't really work for me--biting into them felt awkward and didn't mesh well with the rest of the dish. Overall, it wasn't anything special, and I wouldn't be coming back.

If you've tried Holbox, you might get a similar vibe but consider the difference in quantity. Service is friendly and the shop is definitely cute and small enough to make small talk with the waiter and cook. As for food, I'd say it's great but not amazing compared to its price. Aesthetically pleasing and unique combinations are the main draw for me, but I can't help but to think how much better I can get from Holbox with the same/lower price point! I don't regret the scallops with uni, oysters, yellowtail, aguachile, and kanpachi.. it's just that I wouldn't necessarily be thrilled to be back. I do love that they have their own parking lot.

Food was good yes. But considering the quantity, and overall casual feel of the place I feel that it's INCREDIBLY overpriced. Loved our server. The menu is fine, but I feel like I've had ceviche/crudo/sashimi at far nicer places with a larger menu and portions for the price. I understand good seafood costs. But this felt disproportionate to what we were served.

This was my second time here. It was my birthday and my cousin was treating me. I chose this place due to my great experience the first time (refer to my previous review). I am very sad to say , I was disappointed with lack of flavor. We ordered almost the same stuff as we ordered last time. Except, it was being made by the owner this time. All the items were lacking salt. The flavors were not there at all. The owner was not friendly either . He was dry, and kind of down in mood, minding his own business. Last time's experience was something else. Both food and service were mediocre this time. It was more like ok hurry up , eat and GTHO kind of a feeling. I'm sorry but this didn't do justice for me at all, and I don't think I'll go back, unless the old staff - Manny and Sam are back again.

The seafood here is incredibly fresh and delicious. The presentation of the dishes is impeccable, and despite the small size of the restaurant, it's very cozy. The white wine recommended by the waiter paired perfectly with the seafood. Although the portion sizes were smaller than expected, the overall experience was excellent. Will definitely be returning!

This ceviche spot is an absolute gem! The oysters and ceviche are the best we've ever had--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Although the place is small, it adds to the charm and intimacy, making it an ideal spot for a date night. We love coming here and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy, delicious dining experience.
