Bienvenidos a Casita del Campo! This nearly 63 year old restaurant, event space, bar and all around feel good spot has been doing many things in the city of Silverlake just off Hyperion Avenue. The service. The service. The service. It's so considerate, caring, and smooth. You'll definitely feel like family here. And it's definitely what keeps people coming back. Casita del Campo officially became a part of my dining experiences a year or so ago. All the staff is always beyond cheerful, charming and warm... Fun jokes and all. The drinks are stellar, especially the margaritas... Like may I have more please! While C del C is 1000% super solid authentic Mexican they know their city and have an assortment of options for any and all including a vegan menu that's short, yet plentiful. The enchiladas being my guilty pleasure each time. My boyfriend is a huge fan of the classic enchiladas like the mole poblano.Para las comidas es: entrees, enchiladas (as mentioned), plates/specialties, fajitas, pescado, postres, sides, salads, soups, tacos, taquitos y burritos plus antojitos/appetizers/snacks - fresh guac and chips is the way to go, but nachos, quesadillas, queso dishes and sweet corn tamales are a few of their choice options.Bebidas son abundantes - they have so many great cocktail, wine and beer options. Soft drinks, agua frescas, teas, lemonade, juices, horchata, sparkling, still or bottle water are all in the mix as well. For very large groups or parties you can make an inquiry (make sure to give plenty of notice) and take your pick of the Red Lounge Room (50 guests max), Patio Deck (capacity of 30), Chimney Room (trienta personas) or Paloma Room ( up to 35 people - also they make great Palomas). They also offer pitchers of Margs for a great deal for groups. While Lunch and Dinner are my favorite times/the times I've partaken in the Casita experiences, they have a great breakfast menu that is served all day, including a la carte items. Brunch on weekends is from 11am until 3pm, all dishes served with rice, beans, salad or soup. I don't believe they offer a bottomless special at the moment, but you never know what the future holds. They have several restrooms, including single use gender neutral.Parking is street or valet pretty much ($7 currently). You can get lucky on the street, though it's metered until 8pm. We did valet the first time I was here and it's super easy, however being a Saturday night we went the street route and found a really good spot across the street not too far from the nearest light. Which I recommend using if you can, because people fly down Hyperion like it's a race track at times. The entire space is a blend of art, music, culture and community. They are beyond Open to All, safe space and has been an lgbtq+ sanctuary for nearly as long as it's been open. Featuring events by icons like Love Connie, hosting pride season parties and giving back.Come in for game days, special events (like award shows) and just enjoy yourself. Happy Hour specials available for extra happiness.C del Campo has gift cards and certificates that make great gifts for the holidays as well as special occasions. I love the music, the energy and entire atmosphere here. The owners are amazing just like the staff and all the people you might interact with.

The place is nice, and the workers are friendly, but the food is bad. Not only is the flavor odd and unsatisfying, but it also made me and my partner sick. Despite the scenery being amazing, the food is terrible. Do not recommend.

We brought my mom here for an early mother's dayService was good we got seated quickly after arrival for our reservation. Its a cute spot and nice inside. They have a good selection on th menu. The Only thing is we ordered 4 carne asadas but they needed more seasoning. The rest of the food was good The margaritas were good. We would definitely come back.

The food was not good. The tortilla chips was good, the salsa was made from can tomatoes and fresh onions. I ordered beef taquitos, with no sour cream, but the sour cream was in the plate. The food was plain, no Mexican flavors, no salt. If you want at least half authentic Mexican food, stay away. The tamarindo margarita was too strong.I wanted to like that place so bad, it has a nice vibe, but it is all underwhelming when it comes to flavors.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles. The ambiance is great, that noted, so is the food. LA is guilty of only offering either or when it comes to Mexican food, so I'm overjoyed Casita Del Campo manages to deliver both! What to order:The Chiles Rellenos are out of this world, just like my grandma used to make them; egg-battered green pepper and melted cheese that oozes out of the green pepper--drool, drool, drool! The Chimichanga: Deep-fried Burrito stuffed with an abundance of beef, topped with a ranchera sauce and sour cream. The best chimichanga I have ever had.The guacamole: Love how creatively this dish is crafted; fresh, chunky guacamole served inside a flaky, crunchy tostada shell. A must-order appetizer. The margaritas are out of this world; my favorites are the Pina Colada and Strawberry ice-blended. A sneaky, get-me- tipsy drink.Authentic Mexican food, great service, and laughs-all-around; need I say more? Casita del Campo will forever hold a special place in my heart.
