I dined at CASA 12 Friday evening after a brief hiatus and the place was packed as usual both inside and out.I sit at the bar and was greeted by Lindzey who rattled off the specials, but I decided to go with my usual, which is the Caesar with extra anchovies and chicken ($25) and for my main course the Fusilli & Mushrooms (26) which is to die for because the pasta is so fresh along with some bread and an Iced Tea. The people at the bar are always friendly since I usually eat alone, and most are locals and neighbors which is a nice way to meet people in the neighborhood. The bill with tax was $55.85 and I left a cash tIp of $13 for excellent service as all the staff at CASA 12 are extremely nice and are there to ensure an excellent environment and dining experience. CASA 12 is long and narrow and has indoor seating for about 100 and another 20 outside with heaters and lamps for those chilly nights here at the beach. Located where Marina del Rey and Venice meet at the fishing pier, reservations are usually not necessary, but for parties larger than five, I would recommend. It is a rustic setting with low lighting, an extensive wine selection and gracious hosts. While the clientele trends to those in their thirties, all are welcome. Be it a first date or a night out with friends, CASA 12 accommodates a great menu, staff and a vibe that has you coming back again and again. CASA 12. Try it, you will like it!HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Top 5 restaurant in the Marina/Venice neighborhood!

Casa Ado (12) makes their own pasta and it is wonderful. Everything they make is great. We love this place for dinner and have dinned in and take away. We love to dine in. It can get crowded, so we wait for off time, like just when they open at 5:00 pm.The service is friendly and they know their wine list. Their wine list is great and the prices are not too insane. The place is super cute with comfortable seating and the outside is really nice and if you want you can dine outside. We just love everything about it.Their CROSTINO is so great. It is roasted bread topped with caramelized shallots, creamy burrata, crispy pancetta, and balsamic reduction. We also love their GUAZZETTO di COZZE which has a ton of mussels and clams in a garlic white wine sauce with a spicy marinara, and it is served with roasted garlic bread. For dinner you can't beat any of their pastas. My favorite is their LOBSTER RAVIOLIserved with shrimp pink tomato sauce. Their SPAGHETTONI VONGOLE is an Italian classic with Manila Clams sautéed in a white winegarlic sauce. The pasta of the day is always great as well.Whatever you get you will be happy. Parking is for a fee in the large lot. Have a great time.

I keep coming back to this gem right next to the water in Venice/Marina Del Rey! Everyone from the owner to the waitstaff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and the atmosphere is perfect for a cozy dinner for two (or one in my case) after a day at the beach. My favorite specials are the ribeye and the scallops, and the squid ink pasta holds a close second. But one of my all time favorites is their portabella funghi appetizer, particularly the crispy greens and the Gorgonzola sauce. Sometimes I go and only order that on my way home cause I enjoy it so much. I've had the lamb, the chicken, and the Caesar salad as well and enjoyed these as well. I'll always make time for this place!

My late grandmother was from New York City so from the time I could walk and talk I was exposed to good Italian food, I was very loyal to the restaurant Piccolo in the area however since their closure I have turned my sights to another Italian joint with the same ownership. What awaits is wonderful food including pasta made in house, good service, and an impressive selection of wine. The Bolognese was absolutely perfect it is very filling. The front of house here like at Piccolo are straight characters. Lindsay is somehow both a barista and a bartender operating the one of the scariest looking coffee machines I have ever seen. Very nice ambiance and decoration and some incredible people watching. Considering it's right nearby where I live it's criminal I haven't come to this spot earlier. I am going to enjoy coming back here.

Delicious Italian restaurant in Marina Del Rey! We dropped by for New Year's Eve before fireworks and the food and service was amazing. Highly recommend making a reservation here so that you don't have to wait for too long. For two, we ordered the caesar salad, grilled octopus, funghi fusilli, and lobster ravioli. I enjoyed every single dish but highly recommend the grilled octopus appetizer :)

Quant Italian restaurant in Venice. Ordered the Petto Di Pollo, and the Mussels with Risotto. Both were good.Street parking is available, but it is near the boardwalk so it can be a challenge.

I checked out this restaurant with friends while visiting LA. The ambiance was quaint and charming. The meal I had was seafood risotto and had to be one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. My friends all agreed that their food was phenomenal as well.

Hands down the best restaurant I have been to in a long time! I was visiting my cousin while in LA and he took my friends and I to this adorable restaurant. I have to start with the ambiance. It's an adorable set up that feels comfy, cozy, and a bit chic. They do not have a large space, but they do maximize it as best as possible without making you feel like you're sitting on top of the other patrons in the restaurant. They have a beautiful bar and even some outdoor patio seating. Upon arriving you are greeted with fresh baked bread and with oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread is a flakey focaccia that we could not get enough of. The server was so attentive and kind. She perfectly described the specials and when we couldn't make a decision she helped us to choose. Every single meal that was ordered was delicious. I got the pasta special and it was quite literally the best thing I have ever eaten. The portions are good and the food comes out piping hot which shows how fresh to order everything is. We ended our meal with their homemade desserts. I got the tiramisu which was light and delicious. I have honestly not had a meal this good in so long. It's going to be hard to find a place that beats Casa 12 in LA!

We had a midweek girls night dinner at Casa 12...a cozy Italian restaurant nestled in between the bars in Venice at the end of Washington Blvd. This was my first time coming here and I cannot give this place a high enough review....I'd give it 10/10 if I could tack on more stars. From the get go owner Manuel was so warm and welcoming. He treats all is customers like he's inviting you into his home, while we were there we couldn't help but notice how many other guests seemed to be regulars at this local haunt. The entire staff was so attentive and friendly. Our server Carlos was the best and helped us navigate their robust wine listThe ambiance is cozy, romantic and makes you feel like you're in Europe..with small tables and real candlelight everywhereThe food was absolutely exceptional. We had an array of appetizers, 2 pastas and the daily special fish which Manuel deboned for us himself My favorite dishes were the gorgonzola pasta, lava cake and octopus which was cooked perfectly I have a new goal to eat my way through their menu and hopefully achieve regular status myself Salut Casa 12 team! I'll be back soon!

Found this gem of a restaurant. Real Italian food, not "American Italian" food. Went for a birthday celebration & everyone was more than impressed. We ordered multiple courses and each was better than the last one. Definitely a new favorite in the marina and a MUST TRY whether you're a local or visiting. Cant go wrong
