To my great dismay, upon arrival we were greeted with a line longer than my tefillin, that I wrap myself with daily (I tell you). "Oh what do we have here?" We said. A shiny, yellow, beacon of light approached my good friend, Judda and myself. (Juddah, might I add, is still recovering from a gruesome racquetball injury. He never really did have the chutzpah, but I digress.) This aforementioned beacon, was a mench of a hostess and seated us at the bar during their 5pm dinner boom. "Oi! What a selection of fine Chinese cuisine do we have here" we stammered! We laughed, Oh! Did we laugh! And Juda didn't even have to tell the wait staff to heat up his supper. (What a treat!) Absolutely no room left for dessert. We left extremely content and will be returning next Christmas holiday. A pro tip: parking costs $5.50. Do you believe this? Why do they need the extra half shmeckle? Anywhos, Judddah and myself love to throw our leftover sheckles into the fountain outside the establishment. Please, and I cannot stress this enough, PLEASE refrain from throwing all of your coin into the tempting fountain, as you will not have the change that is necessary to pay for your parking. Oh what a nightmare that would be! Could you imagine?Ok that's good. Post. Post it to the interwebs. Thank you Siri. Kindly, Matthew Mordecai Reskin (and friend)

Food is up to standard. Every dish I ordered is delicious except the lamb dish.Service is super good. The waitress is helpful, quick and attentive. When we shared our concerns on the lamb dish, she removed it from our check. The restaurant is big and clean. Parking is easy.

The egg tart is excellent--5/5! The Lo Mai Fan is tasty but the portion size is too small, so I'd rate it 4/5. The black bean spare ribs are lean and flavorful, though a bit more peppery than I prefer--4/5. Unfortunately, the radish cake was too soft, lacked crispiness, and was overly peppery--3/5.The interior is lovely, and the service is great. Be aware that parking is paid, but you can find free parking if you don't mind walking a bit farther.

Capital Seafood did not disappoint! The dim sum was delicious, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was great. Be sure to make reservations. The round tables with the lazy Susan are perfect for large groups! I'll definitely be back!

Beverly Hills is decidedly not the destination for Chinese food, so I came with lowered expectations. As expected, the food was just overpriced and middling. The best dim sum was the shrimp har gaw. The shiu mai was chewy and overcooked, and the radish cakes were a bit too mushy. Average service. Not worth the expense.

So the good news is the food is really good... now the rest of the review. Service under staffed, some speak little or no English ( I do however believe they understand more than they speak), and slow. Big space lots of seating options and sort of dim sum style interior. If you're in the mood for a clean Chinese restaurant with good eats this is a decent option, however try it first before inviting a large group... cheers

Delicious Dim Sum in BH, this place pleasantly surprised me. Came in with low expectations because there's not a wide variety of good Chinese restaurants on the West Side but this place blew my mind. All the dishes were good except for the fried squid - it was too salty for my liking. However, the place is clean and the service is good. The flavors for each dish were well-balanced and authentic, the XO rice paper rolls were my favorite followed by the bok choy steamed in broth. The broth was aromatic and flavorful.Parking is a pain on La Cienega but they have a lot next to the restaurant and they validate for the first two-hours. Cash only.

Unfortunately such a letdown. Main driving factor for this review is the quality of the food. Have come here multiple times and continued to give them chances due to the proximity compared to SGV restaurants. It's just such a letdown, improperly prepared food. Everything we had was over steamed to the point of falling apart. Noodles were very greasy and tasted like burnt oil. Service is typical Chinese restaurant service, friendly but nothing extraordinary. The one thing this place has going for itself is that it's relatively clean and well maintained visually.
