Cali Pho Nia

The size of these bowls are insane! I always get the chicken pho and it's always delicious with amazing prices for the portion sizing. The service is a 10/10 they are all so friendly and food came with 15 mins. They play hit songs and throwbacks too. Would recommend this place.

TLDR: Big portions, not great service. I ALWAYS used to recommend Cali Pho Nia to my friends in the Valley who were looking for Pho, but unfortunately my most recent experience may have likely changed that. It was a rainy day and they were pretty busy, but for the whole restaurant they had just one waitress and she was not hitting the mark. We asked for water at least 4 times before we had to stand up and go to the front to ask for it again. We also asked for extra toppings for our pho, and they brought us a dishes with two tiny slices of jalapeno, two lime wedges and one sprig of basil for both of us. Their bowls are HUGE so skimping on the toppings doesn't make a ton of sense to me. When the waitress brought us our appetizer, we also had no napkins or any other plates to eat it on. Finally our pho came out and we were excited! I got the beef brisket pho and when it arrived, the meat was still a little pink so I mixed it into the broth and it changed color. However when I was mixing up my bowl, I found a giant piece of hard paper, like maybe from a label of a box, floating around in my bowl. I told the waitress about it and she took the bowl back. Less than 1 minute later, a gentleman brought the bowl back to the table, and the meat was not pink. I'm pretty certain they just gave me the same bowl right back, otherwise the meat should have been fresh like when I initially got it. No way to prove it of course, but it was a little suspicious how fast that bowl came right back to the table after we had experienced such snail's pace service the rest of the time. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

I've come here a number of times, and can say they're consistent in all aspects. Starting with the service: FOH staff always has tunnel vision while on the floor. While they are polite and kind, everyone working the floor lacks a necessary attention to their guests. During my most recent visit I was trying to flag someone down to refill our water, and watched the lone server & the manager pass by a combined seven times to drop off food / take orders at neighboring tables (seemed to be on autopilot) before we finally got their attention. I had placed the empty, clear caraffe on the edge of the table so they wouldn't miss it, but it just sat there while many "excuse me" attempts missed their ears.Food is always good and is portioned generously. Broth is flavorful and soup is customizable with the regular bean sprouts / lime / onion served on the side. Pho tends to arrive before any appetizers / small plates, but everything is usually pretty quick. Again, quality is consistent.Overall vibe of the place is as casual as it is comfortable. The parking plaza seems to have an open spot every time we come in.

Pho spot with lots of other choices! The spring tools were good. We were there on a Wednesday at 1:30 the place was not busy and there was one waitress, who constantly forgot things for us and tables around us. The food was very mediocre. Bland soup, dry tough chicken. The side veggies were fresh. We found a piece of paper in one of the bowls of soup - we asked for a new bowl and got the same bowl back from the kitchen.

I came to Cali Pho Nia on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and the restaurant seemed pretty empty. None of the workers were in the front at the register (they were in the back kitchen preparing food). I greeted the servers and waited to order my meal. I got the steak and brisket pho while my friend got the seafood pho. The pho itself tasted decent. Back in my hometown, I would eat at my favorite pho restaurant 1-2 times a month so I have pretty high expectations when it comes to pho. I think the broth was a little watered down and the cilantro they gave on the side seemed a little dried out. Although the bowls were huge, the meat ratio was pretty small. I'm not sure if I would come back.

This place is good enough to get your Vietnamese fix on when you're in the valley. The brisket pho came in a massive bowl with sides of cilantro, lime, bean sprouts, and jalapenos. The broth was super tasty with a little tamarind tanginess to it. It was good enough without having to add any condiments to it. Oooh....and the meaty fried egg rolls were delicious too! I don't think five of them were enough. I often order to go but there's plenty of seating here too. Great for late night eats (closes at 2am) with plenty of parking.

This place is Vietnamese / Korean fusion...and I LOVE IT!I love that they are so close to where I live. I love that they have Korean flared dishes like the Jjang-pong (spicy seafood soup).I love that they have a Vietnamese version of Oxtail Soup! This has been my latest FAVORITE to order to satiet my Korean soul. I love this place because my heart feels so kindered here with my roots.

Nice resturant, good service, and friendly If you're looking for PHo I highly recommend Cali Phi Nia. Their portion is huge at least 1-2 gallons for sure and they do not go cheap on toppings.

Absolutely amazing place to bring a date and eat! The plants and the artwork gives a very peaceful air to the experience and the service is phenomenal! The food is seasoned so delicious in its traditional way & I recommend everyone to come by to taste the herbs and food as it is cooked with care and love!!!
