Love this place! My husband and I have been here before we had our toddler as well as after she was born. The food is delicious, the ambiance is great, and the service is always wonderful! If you want to have a romantic dinner with your loved one or have a nice family dinner please look no further!

I've been to this place many times, and it never disappoints. The service is always excellent, and the rooftop seating offers a nice atmosphere--perfect for a relaxed meal or drinks. The food is consistently good, and they have a solid wine selection. It's become a favorite neighborhood spot for me. If you're looking for a reliable place with good food and a pleasant ambiance, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Food was solid and service was fine. It's in a tourist area so we knew that going in but it still was a bit off for us. Some obnoxious patrons and overpriced food. HOWEVERI think if it was up here in Altadena this would be our go-to spot but you can't really blame the restaurant for the people it attracts. Overall great experience just will need to ask for a more private table next time.

This is our go to place especially these past 2-3 years. You will never get disappointed with the quality of their food. Service is always excellent. We have tried almost every item on the menu and everything has been amazing. Their fried smelt is one thing that we always get. Appetizers are so good you can literally get full off the appetizers. And if you have a big party or an event you can book it in advance and they set up the corner for your event.

Still one of my favorite restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area. Grew up on Cafe Santorini and came back a few weeks back for the first time in over 5 years. The ambiance is lively, service friendly, and food impeccable. For two, we shared the mezze platter, steak frites, and Greek salad. We probably over ordered but every dish was delicious. Service is punctual and friendly. Must get the ashta for dessert (the owners mother makes it). For parking, I'd recommend the structure across the street. Can't wait to come back more frequently. Wish I lived closer.

I recently revisited Café Santorini after a prior visit that didn't quite meet my expectations. This time, I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Situated in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, Café Santorini has been a beloved staple for over 30 years, and it's easy to see why.The owner, Panos, reached out to me after my initial review. His passion and dedication to his restaurant were evident in our conversation. He genuinely wanted to understand my previous experience to make improvements, showing how much he values his patrons and the quality of service his team provides. When I returned, my experience was night and day compared to my first visit. This time, I dined on the enchanting patio, complete with romantic twinkling lights--a setting that truly elevates the ambiance. Despite being a busy night, the service was nothing short of exceptional.I enjoyed a glass of white wine paired with a delicious chicken kebab, while my husband ordered the beef kebab. We also shared a plate of creamy, flavorful hummus. To top it all off, we were treated to a complimentary dessert--a delightful rose water treat that was his mother's recipe The desert was as memorable as it was delicious. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the ambiance unforgettable. I even had the pleasure of meeting Panos, who shared stories of his journey in the industry and his long-standing staff, some of whom have been with him for years. It's rare to find a restaurant where the owner is so personally invested in every detail, and it's clear that Panos takes immense pride in his establishment.Café Santorini is truly a gem--perfect for a romantic date night or a warm family gathering. The price point is reasonable, and the menu offers something exceptional for everyone. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Pasadena, this is the place to be.Thank you, Café Santorini, for an incredible evening. I'll certainly be back!

Finally got around to dining at Santorini. We started off with hummus, pita bread, and icy cold Mythos; great combo! Shout out to Samuel who was very attentive and helpful with our request for a side of spicy sauce. We ordered the Branzino with capers over house potatoes, delicious! The seasoning was perfectly balanced and did not need any additional flavoring. Also, ordered the Pesto e Pollo and wow, the pasta sauce was perfectly creamy with a hint of fresh cilantro garnish that elevated the pesto flavor. Finished the evening with their delicate and sweet pistachio and rose water cake. Surprisingly, a very good duo of flavors. All worth splurging!

Located in Old Town Pasadena on Union across from a paid parking structure. There is a sign and the restaurant is on the second floor. There's a bar inside and a few tables with more in a covered outdoor patio. The outdoor patio can be cold on a cool night, so bring a sweater/jacket. They have heaters that are fixed to the building wall, but they are only on one side of the patio. So if your table is on the street side, it's a bit chilly. Service was quick. Recommendations given if asked. They seemed busy and distracted, not overly friendly. We ordered the mezze tasting which was perfect for 6 of us. Has a little bit of everything. My linguini clams was good but not the best I've ever had. Wish I had a bit more of it to fill me up. The apple crisp wasn't my favorite. Presentation is great, place is great for a date night and even big groups.

The food is not the same anymore. The menu changed the quality of the food to me is not like it. I'm sad. Smaller portions and the quality of food is not that great. A lot of my favorite dishes are gone.

We were in town for the Eaton fire and we were approached on the street, and invited in by the owner Panos, who was incredibly kind and inviting. They had just reopened following damage from the Eaton fire. He brought out the Santorini mezze tasting and everything on the plate was incredible. For an entree we had the beef and chicken kabob's and again, everything on the plate was amazing. The food, service and ambiance were second to none. I would highly recommend Cafe Santorini to anyone passing through, or living in the area. If I lived closer this would be a frequently recurring stop for me and my family/friends. Thanks you Panos and family for the kindness and delicious food.
