..truth be told, Los Angeles doesn't offer many places that serve Ecuadorian food.I've tried most of them - including house restaurants. Yes, that's where my desire for Ecuadorian food has taken me.Unfortunately, i have been terribly disappointed until today.Cafe Fresco was actually wonderful. The food was authentic, delicious without pretending to be something else.Unlike other Ecuadorian restaurants, Cafe Fresco felt like an actual restaurant. The ambience was welcoming and comfortable.Stop by Cafe Fresco and delight your palette with kimbolitos (puffy light cake-like), umitas (like a tamel, but better) with a coffee. We also had a llapingacho (potato patty) and bolon (plantain ball) plates - they were crazy delicious.Take it from me.. I'm The Giant of Ecuador after all. This place is worth visiting.TGOE

A very nice cafe with nice vibes and music inside a small plaza. Once I entered it felt very cozy and nice. Very friendly and nice staff. You can order at the counter or sit down and wait for the waiter. We ordered a few breakfast dishes like the garden egg white omelette, american breakfast, and french toast. All very tasty! You can also order your hash brown extra crunchy. The hot latte were delicious as well. Their butter orange is a must have!Parking available in front in the lot.

My friend and I walked here for a last minute beverage/snack and meet up. I ordered the mango smoothie, but my friend was hungry, but other than pastries, there was no sign of another menu to order actual food from (despite other patrons having food), so ended up with the green smoothie. Partly my fault since I didn't see the note in the menu that all smoothies are made with almond milk by default, but I didn't like the nutty flavor it gave my otherwise fruity smoothie. Since default almond milk is unique (at least in my experience), it would've been nice if the cashier had simply asked "almond milk okay?" when I was ordering. My friend's smoothie was less smooth and had large chunks of fruit at the bottom requiring him to remove the lid to try to consume. We were in the seating area for about 15 minutes before we were also asked to leave "because they were taking pictures."The smoothies and the customer service left much to be desired.

What can I say? This place has become my second home. I come here all the time to have breakfast and dinner. Their food is amazing and never fails to impress me. I really recommend the Ecuadorian menu has so much flavor and new dishes that are not on the original menu. Don't forget to try their fresh juices as well and they raspberry mocha latte . If you're looking for your next brunch spot, I really recommend Café fresco and staff are super friendly and are always willing to help.

Omg they serve the coffee cakes steaming warm!! That was the surprise highlight of the experience.Good hot chocolate. Not sure what is the deal with the tea, they don't have a tea bag? I guess they steep, strain and then serve?Gender neutral restroom in the back.Parking lot outside in front.

Food was good: the avocado toast was refreshing. The Wild West burrito was tasty, very filling. My latte wasn't warm. The chai latte was really good. Service wasn't the best. Felt ignored, had to get up and request things 3 times, utensils, pepper, and the bill. I ordered empanadas and never got them. The ambiance was chill, but not being attended to made me not wanna come back.

A Hidden Ecuadorian Gem in Los Angeles! On weekends, this little spot transforms into an authentic South American restaurant--and what a fantastic find it is! Being from Ecuador, it's rare to come across Ecuadorian food in Los Angeles, so discovering this place was an absolute delight. It's a family-owned restaurant, and you're treated like one of their own. Rudy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The Ecuadorian menu changes weekly, offering a rotating selection of traditional dishes like menestra de lenteja, locro de papa, morocho, humitas, and quimbolitos. Each bite is a nostalgic taste of home. The service? Absolutely top-notch. The warmth and hospitality here make the experience even more special.I'm so glad I found this hidden gem--it's a keeper! I'll be coming back again and again.
