"Food is real Thai food made by actual Thai people. Not that there's anything wrong with other races making other people's food, I'm just saying in terms of authenticity. And they're open late af which is pretty damn clutch when you don't want to resort to fast food or Denny's.The negative reviews you see about this place are based off of deliveries and people who have their taste buds out of whack. Stop slandering this food like you know all about it because you don't know how to cook top ramen properly at home."
"Golden Deli serves some of the best pho I have ever had. The broth is rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles and meat. Their spring rolls are delicious. The staff are friendly and very attentive. While the wait can be annoyingly long, it's worth it."

"Straight forward and generous portions ! I only ever get takeout / UberEATS for work, so I can't speak to the in-person service. The pickledVeggies are all great."
"Cute small shop in a big shopping center. I've gone twice and service was always great. They were always attentive and quick.I've had the pho brisket both times and both times it was amazing. The broth is so flavorful and fresh tasting. The brisket was tender and delicious.I could honestly just drink their broth and be happy.I also tried the fried bao, it was really good, I just wish it had some type of sauce or chili oil for it, it can be a bit dry. But the flavor was great."
"tl;Dr - skip the Thai tea, the chicken egg roll bun had onion skin in it but flavor was good, fried pork loaf for the win! I am immunocompromised so I only got this for delivery through GrubHub. So I wish I could tell you what the ambiance and stuff like that was but all you'll get is the information on the food. :) First, the food arrived hot and fresh which is great as sometimes with delivery, the food can be lukewarm. -_-I'll start with the bad and end with the good. The Thai tea was tooooooooooo sweet for me. I thinned it out with more milk and it was still too sweet so even though I upgraded to get a 32oz tea, I ended up throwing it away. So basically $11 down the drain as they upcharged for no ice as I was planning on drinking it later and did not want ice to water down the tea. Thai Tea is a definite pass for me.They also made a mistake in the food or the menu on GH was wrong as I got the chicken egg rolls bun which was a dollar more than other items. I thought that it was because it said it came with shrimp. Sadly mine was missing the shrimp. Color me sad as I was looking forward to the shrimp and the egg rolls. BUT, these egg rolls were huge and the flavor was decent. They were not the smooth skin egg rolls, these were the bumpy egg roll skin which I was not expecting as I am used to the egg rolls having the smooth skin. Not a big deal though. The reason why I took off another star was that I found an onion skin in my dish. Color me sad as I was enjoying it until I found that onion skin as I was not sure what might've been on the skin vs the edible part of the onion. And since I have to be really careful with my health, I stopped eating it immediately as onion skin can have contact with dirt which would also have fertilizer in it that might carry things that are not good for me. -___-This was very disappointing as I was enjoying the dish even though I was missing the shrimp. So color me very very sad and disappointed. Now my most favorite thing was seeing that they had a deep fried pork loaf which I absolutely love!! I was so excited to get this dish and let me tell ya... This dish was sooooooo good!! LOVED IT!! yes imagine me drooling while having heart eyes. LolSo I most likely will pass on everything else but when I am craving pork loaf, I'll be ordering from here as that was delicious!"
"This is a reliable pho spot - not phenomenal but I would return due to proximity to me! The portions are big and flavorful. I went with the beef wagyu pho and my only criticism is that I wish the meat was in smaller pieces so I could get more balanced bites. I enjoyed the toppings bar which contains limes, sprouts, green onions, onions and jalapenos. The service was average, not bad not great. If I would've been asked how I was doing throughout the meal I probably would've ordered a side of egg rolls to try out."
"Family owned spot with other locations in LA. Came here for dinner with a friend in a rainy night around 7:30pm on a Wednesday; the place was buzzing but I was able to get a table for us right away. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They were out of the veggie pho so I tried the bun bo hue here. There was a giant piece of bone with no meat and limited meat otherwise, but I liked the flavor. It was only slightly spicy so it should appeal to a broader palate. There are options like sandwiches and plates if you're not feeling like pho. The servers were nice and efficient. Overall, a food spot for a casual meal."
"Great service and food! The rice in the chicken and rice was so fluffy. The pho had delicious broth. The pork belly delicious. Would come back. Super friendly staff - home cooking feels."
"Seriously THEEE best Pho! It's amazing how every time I mention this 2-location chain, the people already know! I actually haven't been to a lot of Pho spots, but my Vietnamese friend has, and she's taken me to the authentic hole in the wall family owned business around the second largest Vietnamese populated city in the US (which is in OC). But when I brought her here, she was absolutely shocked at how good it is...both the food and the service! My favorite is the Filet Mignon Pho. I always have to get it. I also love that you get unlimited noodles with your bowl, so I always order extra to have a second meal saved with my left over broth. They do serve other items that I haven't yet tried, but plan to. On the weekends there can be a long wait, but you can join the waitlist right in the Yelp app while you're on your way to cut the wait time. Just make sure you arrive when they text that your table is ready, or you could get bumped off."
"I've been missing out all these years! Uncle John's is like a mashup of all the Asian and American comfort foods. It's like the 2nd gen immigrant kids actually learned from their parents how to cook this food and then they added all the tasty American bfast goodies. The meal that sold me is that Saturday lunch special with the quail eggs... Holy moly! So good and tasty and rich! I still think about it! We went on another Saturday and it took every ounce in my body to order something I havent tried yet.I got the pork chop egg w rice and hubs got a side of egg rolls. The meals were delicious and authentic! The nuoc mam is also very good... Bright and not too salty. Overall Uncle Johns has super tasty food that reminds me of home. The people are also super friendly and have great recommendations."
"I've never thought to mix curry and udon before, but let me tell you, it is delicious! While mostly a take out place, you can eat in as well. I went in and my husband had the pad thai sukhothai with crispy pork which was really good as well. They also have pho and banh minhs as well. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes."
"After living in LA for 4 years, I can count the number of times I've had delicious pho in Los Angeles on one hand.I was worried this would be another gentrified Vietnamese spot, but it had been TOO long since I've had authentic Vietnamese and I needed my fix!First impression: Well priced, beautiful presentation, and an elevated take on classic Vietnamese dishes. We ordered the crab spring rolls and brisket banh cuon to start. I absolutely loved their take on the classic banh cuon. The sliced red chili peppers on top gave it a nice kick and each piece had a healthy portion of tender brisket. For the main, we ordered the butcher and filet pho. Each slice of meat was tender and the broth was fragrant, flavorful, and most importantly authentic!Me will most definitely be back to try the rest of the menu"

Golden Deli has my heart. I dropped by for lunch and maybe 15 min later the restaurant was PACKED with people. Asian people! That's how you know this restaurant is elite. We ordered the egg rolls and the bun rieu. Both were 10/10. The egg rolls I've had before, but never fresh from dine-in. The outer skin is BEYOND crispy and the inside filling is sooo juicy and succulent. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The egg rolls come with your standard fixings of lettuce, pickled veggies, and fish sauce. The bun rieu has to be in the top 3 bun rieu I've tried. The broth was perfection. Not too pungent seafoody, but not bland either. It was well balanced and light but still very flavorful. The noodles were perfect - I usually never finish my noodles but I did that day! My only complaint is I wish they had more variety in the dish - the only meat was the homemade meat balls/loaf which I absolutely loved, but I wish there was more! Maybe pork loaf or shrimp balls, etc. I will be back ASAP to try everything else on their menu. Thank you Golden Deli!

Amazing food spot similar to chipotle but Vietnamese. So many great options and so well priced. The Mamas Mai chicken is a great basic option that's very tasty! Got the beef spring rolls that were amazing and so yummy! Service was very great and helpful and the vibe is extremely casual! A great quick food spot for a healthy meal!

Really solid pho spot that's open late! When I'm really craving pho, or am just really hungry late at night, this place really hits! The broth in the pho is good, and the noodles are soft but firm. The bowl is really big too! Perfect for a big back like me! There are a great selection of different types of meats you can get in your pho, and all of them are good! When I'm feeling extra hungry, I like to order an appetizer. So, I got the spring rolls last time I went. They had a good crunch, and tasted good as well. However, I wish they had the Vietnamese style spring rolls though (the ones that are wrapped in rice paper). I was greeted pretty quickly when I walked in, and was immediately assigned a table. There were actually a lot of people eating there at the time, despite it being so late at night. I was by myself though, and was able to get seated pretty quickly. My server came and checked in on me regularly, and I got my bill right about as I was about to ask. This is definitely the spot to get good pho!

Parking was a little bit of a challenge on a Wednesday evening. We had to wait a couple of minutes parking is pretty small but we got a spot in front of the establishment. Service was fast and prompt we were immediately greeted and served water, before taking our order.Ambiance was very fun they were playing good music and the food was amazing the wait wasn't to long and everything tasted fresh will definitely be going back.

Food was good. Staff was very friendly. If you get lucky and find a parking spot in their lot then you're good to go. Otherwise it's a pain to find parking. The only thing that bothered me was the smell of the restaurant. There was a mix of chemicals for cleaning and the stench of old meat. I couldn't enjoy my food.

I love the outdoor seating here. I tried a bunch of different dishes and they were good. I am still so loyal to PHO SHOW for their fresh spring rolls and pho tho. So I have only been here once and got the fried egg roll thingy, fresh shrimp spring rolls, and a salad.

Really like the South East Asian food prepared here. Specifically the Hainan Chicken Rice. I make a regular visit here to try this dish and think it's very authentic.

"This place impressed us when they opened in our neighborhood. It was exciting, not so exciting now. Keep up with the upkeep please. It looks like a used place now vs a hip new eatery. The last attempt for "to go" not really enjoyable...burned and soaked in dripping oil."
"The broth.Spectacular!Give me 14 of them right now! And you leave not smelling like Pho."
"Consistently excellent and not expensive. They are right, green sauce is amazing. Beef quality is very high, strongly recommend short rib. Overall, very good option for Pho and good experience."
"Phi MDR is a very cute and unassuming hole in the wall pho place. There are only street spaces so parking might be a bit of a challenge at certain times of the day. The inside of the place is small and has some themed pho & Vietnamese food art painted on the wall, which is a nice touch. The service was swift and the portions were ample. We ordered the beef loin pho & chicken pho as well as the egg rolls with pork. All the great flavors were there- the beef was tender, and the broth was nice and hot. We thought the pork spring rolls were pretty great too. We left very full and satiated, it definitely hit the spot!"
"This Thai place I personally love, it is nothing crazy but super clean space, I love that no matter what I order I always feel good after, good portions and good price, fast service and always is consistent with quality and flavor. I would recommend."
"I have been coming to 5i technically for years and I always found them to be consistent. I hadn't been in at least 4 years since I left the Culver City area. I was a bit shocked to find that the inside looked a little ran down and messy as they were using the front for storage. I got the impression they moved to pickup rather than dine-in over the years. The person who helped me was really nice and even though I took a bit longer to pick it up my noodles were warm and my spring rolls were not soggy. The spring rolls are a good size and the peanut sauce is the best I've tasted! I got the dry tom yum noodles and those were still as good as I remember. The leftovers lasted 3 days. The portions are good and they are consistent like I remember them be."
"It was cold and raining so I REALLY wanted some Pho. It might have also been a Friday, so it had to be vegetarian. This place had the PERFECT dish for me... the vegetarian pho definitely hit the spot. The hot soup was tasty and there was more than enough noodles. There was enough shrimp, but it could have used more mushrooms. I definitely recommend adding the usual sides which comes with the pho. Would definitely consider coming back to try their other dishes. There's more to this place than just pho. If you choose, you can eat your food at the restaurant. There was more than enough places to sit. There's free shared parking in the back, but sometimes if it's really busy, finding a parking space can be challenging. You can always park in the front or free street parking around the neighborhood homes."
"Affordable, quick, and delicious! The staff is so friendly and attentive. The interior provides a modest, intimate dining area. Note: If paying with card, they request a $10 minimum purchase. Overall a great option for a quick bite to eat!"
"Wow really great spot for your pho fix! I order the vegan pho it was absolutely delicious, flavorful broth, absolutely fresh veggies and condiments. Highly recommend this place; the whole menus has only a few vegetarian options. The server was very nice and attentive."
"My wife, sister in law, and I stepped in before going to an event last Saturday in the late afternoon/early evening. The service was wonderful, very attentive and helpful. It has a quiet Old Hollywood vibe, kind of small, but it works really well. Food presentation was excellent. We ordered:1 Strawberry Soda 1 Thai Iced Tea1 shareable order of potstickers 1 chicken curry/hot pot rice bowl1 avocado salad - the ginger salad dressing was phenomenal 1 chicken bahn mi (could use a little more spice but still tasty)For a small Vietnamese restaurant in Hollywood we left full and happy. Bonus, there is 1 hr of free valet parking in the rear of the restaurant. 10/10 would dine again."
"It's a simple pho restaurant with neat interior. The food was what I would expect from a pho place. Broth was good, Ingredients were fresh. Their Thai ice tea was also decent (- little watery but not too bad). There was a lot of room in the restaurant. Service wasn't anything special... the server wasn't mean but not nice either. I don't know, it was good but nothing special... Parking is valet only $3. I might come back if I have a craving and it's close by but nothing made me think that it was my new and only pho place."
"We live walking distance to this shop and I have to say it's one of the easiest places to order and eat. The food comes out quickly, there is always parking, and the service is friendly enough.I would say the food isn't 4 or 5 stars, but because it is so easy to order and get your food, I give it an extra star. With small kids, I need a place where the food will come out quickly and is solid Pho broth & noodles."
"Since I moved to LA, I've been looking for an authentic Vietnamese spot, and I'm so glad I checked out @pholegend.ktown ! As someone who goes to OC a lot/is from San Jose, my standards for Vietnamese food are really high, so it was nice finding a solid spot with an extensive menu of their signature beef/chicken pho noodle bowls, as well as traditional Vietnamese dishes such as broken rice, vermicelli and banh mi. As a broke student, I appreciated the reasonable menu pricing (yes, I'm side-eyeing some other Vietnamese spots that charge $80 for pho LOL), and everything we ordered was made well and HUGE in portion. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in Ktown and craving authentic Vietnamese food that won't break the bank! Featured here: seafood special brisket and flank pho spring rolls Charbroiled pork with rice charbroiled chicken banh mi strawberry soda lemonade"
"Great spot for FRESH NOODLE PHO! Aka Northern Region Pho.The noodles are fresh and soft rice noodles instead of your traditional dry pho noodles (Southern Pho) Soup is lighter and a def must TRY if you are a Pho Fanatic! Discovered this gem by working nearby before. Years later the quality is still great (: I also liked that they were chill with my baby pup being inside too."
"Spend the day exploring LA and Hollywood with the kids and looking for a pho place on our way home. Stumbled across this little spot and it's adorable inside. Staff is friendly and service was super quick. The food is delicious and great quality! I got the sizzling ladies on fire and the kids both got pho. All satisfied customers."
"Evacuated from Altadena due to the Eaton Fire, my family found ourselves in the wonderful land of Silverlake. My online reconnaissance for vegan grub had Bé Ù popping up everywhere. Tired and hungry as hell, I called in an order for anything vegan that sounded good on the menu. And woooh, boy. I have nothing but praise. From the front, it's a kitchen with an open Dutch door. That's it. There is no indoor seating and you don't go in at all, but I think theres a patio in the back. And the number of people milling about that open door tells you that Bé Ù is doing big things. We tackled the Tofu Banh Mi, Mango/Cucumber/Mint Salad, Bap Nuong (grilled street corn), and the Summer Rolls, and every damn thing had us wide-eyed mumbling "mmmmmm.." through big bites. Incredibly satisfying, both on a flavor level and filling, and each dish was completely doing its own thing. Not only was the food incredible, but Bé Ù is run by some pretty terrific human beings. They had a big sign up in the window that said free meals for evacuees and first responders. When they heard we were stranded because of the fires, they said to hit them up next time for a meal on them. We did, and they hooked us up with the three things we asked for, plus they tossed in some fried Jalapeño Salt &Pepper Oyster Mushrooms on top of it, which were SO DAMN GOOD. All in all, we tried six vegan options, and I'd order every single one again and again. The grilled street corn was rolled around in a vegan aioli, peanuts, and fried shallots. Serious comfort food. Vietnamese elote, basically. Or is elote basically just Mexican Bap Nuong? Deep thoughts.. The Mango/Cucumber/Mint salad was so much more than it sounded thanks to the sour and spicy dressing. The banh mi and tofu rice noodle plates were exactly what they sounded like and executed on point. Summer rolls, give me those every day, and those fried mushrooms.. ohhhh the mushrooms... Across the board, the ingredients were fresh and vibrant, cooked perfectly, and the balance of everything was dead on.I don't know when we'll be back in Silverlake, but I promise one thing. When we are driving through, or even remotely close, a stop at Bé Ù is here by declared to be on that future agenda. And I can't thank their crew enough for looking out for the community. It's spots like this one that really live and breathe the meaning of the hospitality industry. And it sure as hell doesn't hurt that their food is absolute fire."
"I ordered take out from Phorage. The packaging was much appreciated! There was a top container that held all of the noodles and veggies so that they didn't get soggy. The broth was on the bottom part of the container. Vegan Pho - The amount of noodles were abundant but I do wish there were more veggies and a variety of them. It only came with a small amount of chopped bok choy and a handful of tofu. The broth also had a cinnamon like taste which I was surprised about but it was still enjoyable. Not sure if I'd order from here again. I'm a vegetarian so this was the main item I could get. If they improve their veggie selection I would reconsider!"
"This Chinese restaurant is located on Colima at the corner of Nogales. Around the building is the 99 Cent Store, which is closed....rip. (Anyone remember Hot Star chicken??? That used to be here!)The original location is in Rosemead. Glad to see they have a second location now. I think the Chinese food style here is leaning toward Vietnamese/Cantonese.They do have an extensive menu, but they are obviously known for lobster. I highly recommend getting the house special lobster for your table! I was able to try 5-6 different dishes, and they were all pretty good. They have a few big tables for 8-10 people.Service was good. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom available. They have plenty of parking."
"Looks like a little simple mom & pop shop in the kore town area that serves a flavorful earthy multi layered broth base Pho with a good selection of meats, seafood and vegetables. The portion is definitely hefty and extremely satisfying. Started with the fried beef dumplings which were good and had no 11 combo of meats and seafood and also the short ribs bowl with added vegetables. I have to say that the short ribs were so tender and exceeded my expectations. Adding fresh basil, lime and bean sprouts make this such a hearty comforting meal. Very kind friendly staff made it pleasant. Free parking lot and reasonably priced."
"We tried this place for the first time last week. I placed the order so that my husband could pick it up after work. The ordering system wasn't the best (I always try to order pickup directly from a restaurant's website if possible) and I never received a confirmation email, but they did charge my credit card. When he arrived to the restaurant 30 minutes later, the woman working at the restaurant didn't have our order or know anything about it, then she told him that "we just got the order right now" and he had to wait a little longer. The pho, however, was so delicious! We each ordered the ribeye pho, and I added extra veggies for $3 (mushrooms, broccoli and bok choy). The meat portion was VERY generous. I had enough of everything to make 3 meals. The broth was flavorful and complex. It was a little pricey at $20 each, but the portion size was worth it and I guess that's the deal for a Studio City restaurant. We'll be back!"
"The food here is really good!!! I found Viet on Yelp of course !!! I was in the neighborhood and was hungry. I ordered the chicken pho, the bahn mi, chicken vermicelli, egg rolls, chicken and rice. The service was ok. They got my husbands name as Derrick ? That was weird. However, there was a steady flow of customers so they're doing something right. Overall I would come back. Delicious food !!"
"New restaurant at Beverly Center atop the best views of LA!!! I stopped by for a quick bite while I shopped and ordered the fried chicken sandwich that came with fries. Everything came out piping hot, the chicken was juicy and flavorful and the fries were PERFECT. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu - they even have a full bar with wine and cocktails!! The space is absolutely gorgeous with great lighting and the best views of the hollywood hills.I was greeted immediately upon entering the space by the sweetest hostess. I love a family owned restaurant and love this addition to the mall! See you soon Nicolas Eatery!"
"Continuing on my mission to write reviews to businesses that have been helping the community, here's to My Lai! During the LA Wildfires, they're offering free meals to the firefighters. My Lai Kitchen is owned by Traci Davis, a Vietnamese-American highlighting dishes that she grew up with. What I love about My Lai is the fact that they're creating a Chipotle/Cava style restaurant where you can build your own bowl, but a Vietnamese version of it. The ingredients are fresh and make you feel good about your choice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the WeHo area looking for delicious, clean Vietnamese food."
