"Sugar Taco is one of my favorite spots to grab food in LA!! I've literally had almost everything on their menu at this point. Burritos, tacos, nachos, churro donuts - I love it all! Like I love it so much that I usually order two meals for myself so I can have more the next day. My go-to protein is the carne asada but I also love the pollo. I also feel like everything is reasonably priced for such quality, plant-based food.The restaurant itself is insanely cute and beautifully decorated - capturing the fun, instagram-worthy vibe of LA mixed with the vibrance of Mexican culture. Presentation is flawless! Plus, staff have always been fab! Occasionally I've had to wait longer for pickup than the estimated time so just something to keep in mind.Sugar Taco is the full package and I recommend it to everyone. The Samosas were Crunchy a with a fluffy potatoes filling .. so delicious!The Dosa Quesadilla was so unique - thin dosa filled with smoked tomato and grilled onions, paired with the coconut lentil dip was seriously so good. The Nirvana Curry was a spicy creamy goodness, and dipping their fresh naan in it was heaven. The Grilled Chicken Tikka was a total win for the kids - juicy, tender, and full of flavor.We finished our amazing meal with rose doughnuts (light and sweet) and the creamiest rice pudding. "I love this spot. It's my favorite go-to Japanese comfort food place in all of LA now. Their cozy booths really can only be had with a reservation, but the best part about this place is their authentic Japanese bar connected next door. They even hand-chisel imported Japanese block ice just like they do in the Land of The Rising Sun. It's a perfect way to end a reasonably priced meal, a lovingly created night cap (or 3) next door without having to park or take a Waymo somewhere else. And the craziest (and best) part is their kitchen is indeed open until 3 AM. Now that's what I'm talking about!"

"The chef here has gifted tastebuds. We came for some late night bites. After eating here, we realized this ought to have been our main course. As non vegetarians our bias led us astray from the clear winner, Veggie House!The chickn satay was so good. Frankly the images do not allow this to appear a 1/8 as good as it tastes.The fresh rolls, full of an assortment of veggies, not just 2-3 like some spots, were also delicious. They were massive as well. The menu says 2 fresh rolls, but consider it 4 standard fresh rolls. Two sauces were provided to choose from, generous enough you will not run out of either, if selecting only one. The first was a standard yummy peanut sauce. The second was a remarkable clear sauce made up of cilantro, basil and some [insert amazing combo I could not dream up1]. I wanted to take this sauce home, purchase it regularly, indefinitely. Wow.Highly recommend this spot to any and all enjoy Thai. You will not find disappointments nor mediocrity here!"

Prosecco Trattoria is an absolute gem, and one of the finest Italian restaurants I've been to. The restaurant has an elegant interior design with classy decor comprised of chandeliers, cream-colored walls, renaissance crown molding, and stunning antique artwork and murals adorning the walls. Service was outstanding. We were greeted with smiles, and the various staff we interacted with were all friendly and attentive. Despite feeling somewhat out of place when I first entered the upscale-looking restaurant (I was in jeans and a t-shirt due to running errands all day), I was put at ease by the staff's warm welcome. As for the food, Prosecco Trattoria serves up delicious high-quality Italian cuisine. They have a variety of pastas and entrees to choose from, so much so that I had a difficult time deciding. I ultimately went with the chicken artichoke fusilli pasta, which was like an elevated version of aglio e olio, with chicken, artichoke hearts, and sundried tomatoes in addition to the garlic, olive oil, and spinach. The dish was squisito! Just writing about it is making me crave it again. Haha. We also tried the bread pudding and Panna cotta for dessert, and both confections were rich and sumptuous. All in all, I had a fabulous time here at Prosecco Trattoria, and I can't wait to return!"

I live by Beach and I never go inland and I thought why not try something new. Prior to my experience here my friend sent me a YouTube of the owner on the news, talking about her business and her spices, and that really enticed me and impressed me .Being that, I've never been here before. I wasn't sure the Ordering process or seating arrangements. .I was a little bit taken back by the fact that we did not get greeted when we entered the restaurant area where the cooks are . No hello no welcome. No I'll be right with you. Nothing that was a little bit disappointing I said hello either way . When I first walked in and nobody responded. They just looked at me like they were ghosts. Lol. I kept looking at the register, thinking that somebody was going to come out from another area to help us, but nobody came, and after around 10 minutes of standing there, looking at each other, finally one of the cooks walked over to finally take our order. Was this a good first impression absolutely not was this a warm welcoming definitely not.With that said, I'm pretty sure the Restaurant owner is not aware of the way her staff is treating customers so I think it is a good point for me to bring this up so that she can address it . Everyone that walks in that Restaurant should have some sort of hello or greeting and also to let the customer know that they'll be right with you.Now, for the good part! The ambience the seating, the view, the architecture, all the articles and write ups. The music was popping and pretty incredible if you ask me. The food was absolutely incredible. I really enjoyed my chicken taco and my shrimp taco although the shrimp taco was a little too oily. In my opinion, maybe next time I'll tell the cook no oil. The seasoned chips were outrageously good the seasoning was so delicious. We ended up ordering two bags of chips, guacamole My friend ordered the steak nachos and it was presented beautifully with very fresh ingredients. Lots of tomatoes, cilantro, black beans. My friend was just moaning the entire time he was eating them. It was hilarious. We also ordered the pineapple cheesecake and it was so good .I really enjoyed the food here. It definitely was soulful and the music and the lights in the evening were really beautiful. Plenty of parking although I think they should take away the parking and make it just all seating and people can park in the street but if you do decide to dine in here, you can park in the lot or on the streetI am ultimately basing my review on the DELICIOUS food, quality presentation location, music ambience . Unfortunately the service was not great and definitely needs improvement."

"This was the BEST tiramisu I've ever had. I would make the 1-hour drive here again just for that. However, Civico is primarily known for its scratch-made pasta which was perfectly al dente for both dishes we tried: linguine vongole e bottarga and shrimp ravioli. The shrimp ravioli was one of the daily specials along with the potato croquette so don't forget to ask them about it when you visit.To deliver an authentic Calabrian experience, our water added fresh Calabrian chili to both our pasta dishes which really elevated the flavor by adding a slight kick and tanginess. I could not get enough of the focaccia. They serve complimentary bread with pesto as you sit down and I love that it came in a brown paper bag for some reason. It seemed super fresh and made it easy to take to-go if you needed to. That was not a problem for us though because we ate everything. I so badly wanted to buy some focaccia to take home for myself later because of how good it was but it wasn't an item you could order... I think. The burrata e prosciutto appetizer was underwhelming. The burrata was unusually tangy and almost sour when it usually had a mild, delicate flavor. It came with a variety of different fruits though which made it fun to eat. Also, if you're vegan, they have a whole menu dedicated to you and, although I didn't try it myself, I heard they don't compromise on flavor. The service here was amazing. They always asked if we were doing okay and refilled our waters when needed. We also ended up having a hair in our tiramisu and they were very apologetic about it and offered to switch it out for us."

Wasn't too busy around noon so my friend and I had no issue finding a spot to enjoy our treats. I got a vanilla latte with cold foam and a breakfast burrito. The burrito came with an avocado crema but the burrito was flavorful on its own; did not need it but a fun addition! Lots of people picking up takeout so if you can't make it here at the moment try UberEats and Postmates. "While in Hollywood to see a friend perform, I was walking to my car and spotted an Indian Restaurant I was not familiar with so I looked it up on Yelp (as I always do) and decided to give it a try. It was a small place with a handful of booths. There weren't many customers but it was also a little early for most people to have dinner. When the employee came out to seat me, I was shocked to see that it was Sahan. I knew him from my favorite Indian restaurant in Studio City where he used to be a server. It turns out he left that restaurant to open his own place. Lucky me!The menu contained many of the usual items you'd find at any Indian restaurant. But it also contained several items that were a mashup of Indian and Mexican foods, something I'd never seen before. But I chose to stay traditional and order some of my favorites. I chose the Samosas, Chicken Jalfrezi and Garlic Naan. The Samosas were delicious. They were filled with the usual mix of potato, peas and spices in a crispy, triangular dough and accompanied by the usual tamarind based sauce and a cilantro based sauce. The Chicken Jalfrezi lived up to my expectations and was cooked in a tomatoey sauce with onions, bell peppers, serrano chiles and a hint of ginger. I've had this dish in many restaurants and their version is one of my top two favorites. The naan was fantastic and had a nice char on it. Sahan surprised me with rice pudding for dessert which was a nice finish to the meal.I am beyond excited to have found this place. I'm often in this area and will be returning on a regular basis. Sahan is the ultimate host and provided excellent service and I look forward to returning so I can try some of the Indi-Mex mashups in addition to the more traditional offerings. Great job Sahan!!"
