"I'll have to make another return here to 'Every Table,' Los Feliz, Los Angeles, CA., some time soon but was just a quick restroom stop. Now that I'm writing this review, doing so actually made me realize I bought a box of Lemon Pepper Chicken salad, and that box is still in the car. Luckily, it was raining in Los Angeles, CA earlier today when I was driving this area, so I don't think the food would have spoiled. I better place that in the fridge. Cashier was very friendly: I asked if all boxed items sold were readily cooked since it was my first time here, he took time to answer all my questions. I was literally just in for a quick restroom break walking back to my car. I'll have to stop by to take more pics next trip. This cafe was kept extremely clean throughout. They sold mostly Vegan dishes to-go, ready-to-eat dishes if you have immediate access to a microwave, I'll be back again to try a drink or two. Thanks for your convenience!!!!Cya next time!!!!"

"We, being a party of 4, popped in to this quaint spot on Magnolia.We walked in and were greeted by the staff and they were great.A couple of us are wine drinkers but another couple are beer drinkers and they're was a good selection of both wine and beer.We tried a lot of the foods. Small menu. All that we tried was absolutely delicious!Beef carpaccio and sea bream were very tasty. We ordered a couple more orders of the sea bream we loved it so much! It came with perfectly cooked fried plantains (crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside--so good!), roasted red onions, rice, and black beans. My friend chose the Cochinita Pibil, which was tender, juicy pork marinated in achiote and sour orange juice, cooked in banana leaves, and topped with pickled red onions. It came with rice, black beans, and warm tortillas.We also shared a large Ceviche, which was fresh and zesty. Overall, the food was tasty and well-prepared, with good portions.The ambiance is casual and unpretentious, perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. The Mercado itself has a bustling, lively vibe, which adds to the experience.The big win here? No wait and quick service! Plus, we found street parking right out front, which was super convenient. "The vibe and the food here are really good. I made a reservation today at 11:15 and got there a bit early. The server sat me down promptly and placed a reserved sign on the table, which made me feel special. Ordering was easy enough: the menus are in the front of the cafe and you order there before you sit down with your number. I got the shakshuka with grilled sourdough and the elderberry hibiscus. I really liked the sourdough bread that came with the shakshuka. It tasted really fresh and homemade, and it paired well with the tomatoey, eggy and cheesy shakshuka. I also liked that the tea was not sweet at all and appreciated that I could actually taste the floweriness of it. The ambience in the cafe was good too. Overall, my experience here was great. I would definitely like to go back and try the other foods they have there, as well as their coffee.PS. I think option 3 to get to the restaurant on their map is the best. Its free parking for 2 hours, and the restaurant is literally right across the street from the structure. You just have to make sure you leave the structure on the correct side."

"Dune is a small restaurant located in Atwater Village offering a modern spin on Mediterranean cuisine, providing excellent food, good service, good vibes, and great value. After a short wait Saturday afternoon we each started with a Cardamom Cold Brew ($6) which was a light, refreshing, and slightly sweetened with oat milk and a cinnamon simple syrup. I had the Hummus & Fried Chicken Plate ($22); the Fried Chicken was excellent, moist, and topped with a delicious tahini and charmoula sauce. Accompanying it was a flatbread which was delicious, if slightly dry, topped with olive oil and spices. Flanking these two were a series of greens, olives, and sumac dill rice. Beneath all of these was a light, creamy hummus worthy of immersing the chicken and bread into, broken only by a welcome bite of pine nuts. My friend had the Hummus & Lamb Plate ($22), which was essentially identical except with several flavorful pieces of lamb which was slightly dry but otherwise delicious.Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, made excellent recommendations, and introduced us to the (new) seating arrangement; rather than ordering from the window, one is seated by the server much like a traditional restaurant. Seating is outdoor only, with tables, chairs, and umbrellas along one end of a T-intersection. It is easy to forget, however, that you are sitting on the street, due to an abundance of greenery shielding you from the bustle of Glendale Blvd. For its small location as a lunch-focused establishment, Dune really makes the most of the footprint it has. The value for food quality is good, perhaps excellent, and appropriate for the location. My brother said he wouldn't add the lettuce and tomatoes next time but the rest of us enjoyed the add ons. The meat is an authentic smash burger meaning it's pretty thin so the double patty would be my choice for next time. The fries were enjoyable but the sweet potatoes fries were the real star. We also got to try the brussel sprouts and wow they had great flavor and a nice outer crunch. The restaurant itself is very small. There is limited seating inside as well as limited parking outside. The parking lot is also pretty small but people are constantly coming and going so we were able to find parking right in the front. Would definitely eat here again."
