It's a packed little joint and I forgot what ramen I ordered but it was delicious. I love the noodles. The authenticity was there and it might be my favorite ramen spot in LA."

Andrea B. "This place was pretty empty on a Friday night. We ordered a meat based ramen and the veggie ramen to go. The items were packed neatly in paper bags and leak free containers, but I would appreciate them labelling the ramen and broth as I could've easily taken the meat broth on accident. The veggie ramen was very flavorful and delicious with lots of veggies, even the noodles themselves tasted amazing, not bland like some places. The tofu was just sliced and raw, not fried or seared, but it was okay. My boyfriend said he would've rather had my ramen than his meat ramen."

Monserrat S. "I'm always a little suspicious when ramen places top vegan ramen with cold, uncooked tofu -- it seems a little lazy to me -- but the broth in this vegan ramen was so delicious I didn't care about the tofu being cold. The broth was creamy and full of flavor. The toppings were a great pairing. The noodles... omg... the noodles! The service was great, super kind man took care of us. Parking was easy and the inside was spacious with three tables and bar space. 10/10 recommend!! You need to try this place for yourself"

Hanna K. "Maybe I hyped this place up for myself too much because it didn't blow my socks off as I'd hoped! I got the deluxe mazemen, which came with an great variety of toppings (pork chashu, spicy minced pork, poached egg, seaweed, a soft boiled egg, seaweed flakes, and garnishes), and also a small bowl of rice that you can eat with the sauce at the end. It was tasty mazemen, but the amount of food wowed me more than the actual dish, and overall the flavors didn't taste balanced. The sauce, though plentiful, felt too heavy along with all the rich toppings, though adding vinegar helped cut through the richness. Noodle texture was very good.We got here around 5:15pm on a weekday evening and didn't have to wait in line, though there was a line of around 10 people by the time we left. Our food came out fast though, so it seems like turnover would be pretty quick. The ambience isn't anything fancy and the store is small, but it was well-maintained and noise level wasn't too loud even though the tables are all pretty close to each other. Service is quick and polite. Overall solid, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite spot to go to in Sawtelle!"

Hard to find this high quality of Nigiri for the very reasonable price in LA. My wife is a huge fan of the Nicky Cut Roll with soft shell crab and baked lobster on top! Lauren Cut Roll is also very good. And don't pass up on the Izakaya selection as well. We always get the Miso Cod, Yakiniku (grilled beef), and agedashi Tofu as well. Highly recommend this place for great food and a chill ambiance."

It had lots of pork chashu. The broth was really good and the spice wasn't overwhelming. On the table they have soy sauce and chili options. The restaurant inside is a bit small but the decor is really cute. It's modeled by a Japanese restaurant. Overall great value."

Thankfully, my wife orders from here on DoorDash, and she swears by this place, it always makes her feel better when she's sick. So, we decided to dine in. The place is very small, but the staff is friendly, and the layout is nice. It does get busy during dinner time, so be prepared for that.Since I was limited in what I could eat, I kept it simple with just a miso soup with vegetables and no chicken or meat, but I did squeeze a little lime in for extra flavor. My wife, on the other hand, had the spicy chicken miso soup with a bunch of ingredients. I swear, the bowl is huge and it's big enough for two people to share. Unfortunately, I couldn't dive into her bowl since I was still feeling sick, but I did sneak a sip, and wow, it was delicious! The bowl also comes with noodles, and everything was just so good. I've never been much of a ramen fan before, but once I'm feeling better, I'll definitely be back for a big bowl of their best ramen!"

Bonnie K. "Quiet, clean and nice looking atmosphere. Booth chairs are too upright. If you like to lean back, we prefer the center aisle tables with regular metal chairs instead. Parking can get hectic but somehow we haven't had any issues yet (there's a card shop that seems to be popular in the plaza). This is our second time there, and I really enjoy the garlic noodles with steak, and my husband enjoys the steak entree. Marinated steak with garlic noodles that are flavorful and not overwhelming, plus it comes with a salad. My only gripe is the paper cups. Not enough to minus a star, but it's definitely not something you'd expect from a sit in restaurant (unless they were serving pizza to go). Im guessing it's a relic from the pandemic times and I won't fault them for that, but I do hope they use up the stash soon lol. Would return for a weekday lunch. Just to add, the service was fine - they came back frequently to check up on us and also make sure we didn't park at Taco Bell. Appreciate their consideration!"

Bubba B. "I love this spot. It's my favorite go-to Japanese comfort food place in all of LA now. Their cozy booths really can only be had with a reservation, but the best part about this place is their authentic Japanese bar connected next door. They even hand-chisel imported Japanese block ice just like they do in the Land of The Rising Sun. It's a perfect way to end a reasonably priced meal, a lovingly created night cap (or 3) next door without having to park or take a Waymo somewhere else. And the craziest (and best) part is their kitchen is indeed open until 3 AM. Now that's what I'm talking about!"

Jae R. "Best vegan ramen in LA and one of the best ramen I've ever had. I'm sure this will "wow" your omnivore friends too. Dimly lit, with an easy menu and great smokey presentation. 5 broths, 3 rolls and 3 Mac n cheese to pick from ... when do you see Mac n cheese at a ramen spot!?!?! I need to go back for that. The hot red miso packs flavor with a mild heat and the Yuzu brings a hint of citrus to the mix. Both broths were redonkulously DANKY and were presented covered with a clear dome, filled up with smoke. So cool, and a nice mild smoke flavor. The avocado is torched on their avocado roll and easily makes it one of the best ones I've had. Friendly service when you order, pick out a seat and they bring you your food. Worth the drive, worth the limited parking, worth every penny and definitely a foodie destination.Happy Munchies,@aVeganAndHer"

Hollywood definitely doesn't sleep I guess but this is like suburb Hollywood to me. By the grocery store. Anyway. Friendly service and I just tried the sushi. Not super impressive. Thanks for staying open late though, extra star for that plus we got seated right after we clocked in our reservation basically, within ten minutes. Parking kinda sucks but every time I'm here magically someone else is leaving so it worked out. Four stars for the sushi (a fan fave roll I think) and an extra for late hours. Guessing their namesake ramen is the best item on the menu."

Kristina M. "This was for take out order, ordered via the restaurant website. They made this hard to order. DoorDash and Uber eats were not available for ordering. But the restaurant online system was. The parking lot on the north side of the restaurant is for this establishment as well as others. You can also park behind the restaurant, keeping in mind the alley is littered with broken glass and dumpsters... cuz it's an alley, so learn from me and don't do that. I went to pick up my order, expecting a super full restaurant and orders back logged. Not the case. A few diners and one other order aside from mine. I ordered ramen that included extra sauces (for a fee), soy meat (for a fee). Both of which were not added. I asked for utensils. They were not added.I ordered the buns, and replaced with tofu. I was expecting a cooked or prepared tofu, so that's on me. What I got was simply cubed cold tofu in the bun. I ate the bun it self, which was well prepared, the texture was spot on. But, I sadly was hoping for so much more. Some air fried tofu, or crumbled or something. The broth was good. The noodles were good. Hence the three stars. Execution of my order on all other fronts, well, was less then good, and I had such high expectations. I'll try the San Diego location and see if I have better luck there."

I parked at the DeLacy parking structure which is $1 for 2 hours and it's quite close to the restaurant.Wait time-I was lucky and there was not a wait for 2 people. There is limited seating so the wait time can get long. While I was waiting to order, there became quite a line for a table. Luckily, it's in old town so there is a lot of places to shop while waitingFood-I for the deluxe ramen tonkatsu and yummmm. The noodles were cooked perfect and the Beth way so rich. Sanny C. "So salty!! Almost everything we got was salty -_-I ordered the karamiso ramen. Portion was little for the price, but that was not the problem. The broth was good, but pretty salty. They were also very stingy on the meats. I think there was only 1 or 2 very very thin slices. I thought I saw 2, but ended up with only 1. Guess it dissolved in the broth? lol My nephew ordered the shio ramen. I tried his broth and it was more salty than mine. Also, the broth wasn't hot enough. We also added the karaage and takoyaki for $3 each. Karaage was prob the best outta all the stuff we ordered. It was hot and tasty. Takoyaki was ok. We also ordered the fried wasabi shrimps. This was hands down the saltiest item of all items. I actually mentioned to the server, but nothing was done. We ordered from the happy hour menu but pls...if you're going to be that stingy then don't bother with the happy hour menu. Just make you look bad!!! They have mocktails (no alcohol), but it was like $10-$11??? lol The receipt showed that they validate for parking. I m not sure how accurate it is. Also, not sure for which parking structure. It could be for the Whole Foods's structure."

Megan L. "My boyfriend is a huge ramen fan and we've heard about this place for a while so we decided to try it out and got our meal to go. The noodles came in 3 different flavors and we chose Tokyo and downtown. Tokyo has a peanut & sesame flavor while downtown is vinegar & chili oil. You can get the noodles dry or wet (with soup). You also choose your spice level. After level 3 they add ghost peppers so be warned. The noodles themselves were cooked perfectly and the toppings were good. The soup though is extremely rich. The flavors are very overpowering so after a couple bites it can be a bit much. The fried chicken bowl was good but a little chewy. The pork bun was terrible. It's the bun itself had the consistency of a sponge. The gyoza however were delicious! The flavors were unique but not overwhelming. I can see why people love this place but a little goes a long way."
