"Left dinner last night and fiance and I agreed - this could have easily been a 5 star meal had service been better. We came here last night for Valentine's Day and despite the food being wonderful, service was so slow & unorganized, which put a damper on our experience unfortunately. We arrived on time for our reservation and waited a few minutes at the hostess stand before someone came and escorted us to our table. Right away as we were seated, things were already unclear - there were 2 menus on the table, 1 of which was a prefixe menu for Valentine's Day, the other which was a normal menu. The server told us if we didn't order from the prefixe menu that each of us would still need to order 3-4 courses each from the regular menu. The server left before we could ask any questions and we were just a bit confused as there were several different categories of food on the main menu and we didn't know which categories we'd be required to order from. We tried to get someone's attention to ask questions and when we finally did get someone they said they didn't really know. Eventually our server came and we asked him to clarify and he told us that as a table we just needed to order $100 minimum worth of food. He took our order (he memorized it/didn't write it down) and when he repeated it back to us it was incorrect. Totally not a big deal at all, but I noticed throughout the night this happened to several other customers and it made me wonder why he didn't just write the orders down. Our food came out very slowly (the entire meal took us over 2 hours) but everything was delicious. The complimentary bread and oil were so flavorful!Unfortunately, there were many other moments throughout the night where service was lacking & the staff seemed so confused and disorganized. I found myself making eye contact with staff multiple times whenever I would need help with something and they would look at me, then look away. We had dirty plates stacked on our table and the server would come to wipe off the table right next to us but never bothered taking our plates. It took us SO long to get our check and when we flagged down the attention of staff to hand over our credit card, the server looked so confused. I completely understand that it was Valentine's Day and that the staff was probably overwhelmed, but toward the end of our meal when we were waiting for our check more than half of the inside of the restaurant was already empty. The workers were really nice though, and as someone who rarely complains about service or leaves a bad review for service, I felt compelled to share about my experience because it did really impact our meal. All in all - genuinely very delicious food, and if the service would improve this restaurant could easily be a 5/5."
"First and foremost it is a bit of a drive if you're from San Gabriel Valley Oooooh but it is so worth it, if your looking for a gluten-free pizza Services pretty quick I don't have any issues with it other than it does take a while to get your pizza because their freshly made. You can't go wrong with Silver-lake the ambience is everywhere you look. I recommend ordering more than one pizza perfect for small groups!! Looking forward to eating here again!!! This time I'll order more than one pizza"

"I was craving authentic Italian cuisine, and IL Nido ("The Nest") delivered beautifully. Making a reservation through their website was very easy, though they also welcome walk-ins.While I don't usually drink, their wine selection is impressive for those interested. The specials are announced before ordering; we chose the mushroom ravioli, which was one of their specials , and I also had the fettuccine with black truffle. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly portioned. The garlic bread is also outstanding--especially when paired with their olive oil and vinegar. Highly recommend for a great Italian dining experience."
"Great pasta & the breakfast burrito was outstanding !!!! Also service was very good & the chef had my meal to go in less than 5 minutes !"
"Mostly a to-go place but there are 2 or 3 tables inside. Service was standard and the place was clean enough. Open very late. Just note that there's no bathroom.I liked the Pizza options they had. They got all sorts of toppings, all sorts of combinations, and all sorts of pizza sizes (like 5 different ones I think). They even have a cheeseburger-inspired pizza with fries, beef, and extra cheese on it that my friend enjoyed and got really full from. I wasn't feeling too adventurous and wanted to save some money, so I got the usual Hawaiian pizza, "personal" pizza size. If you're hungry, a personal size will do for you. Crust and breading wasn't outstanding, but I enjoyed consumption :)"
"I am immensely satisfied with the quality of the food, hands down the best fried chicken I've had, the ambiance is great along with playing some awesome music, TJ was very welcoming and provided me with the best service and the wait time was reasonable. I 100% highly recommend this to my friends and family."
"Background On Visit: After perusing through 99 cent store (closing), we stopped by to have dinner.Flamin Pasta Mission Statement: We're a fast-casual pasta restaurant with a kick! And our slogan "Spice that sauce!" doesn't just refer to our spicy appeal, but also to the natural spices we use to give each dish that homemade taste. Our homemade marinara sauce is top-notch and our customization model are what makes us unique. Do you prefer marinara or alfredo? Maybe both, with a touch of pesto. Ground Italian or chicken sausage, shrimp, grilled chicken, or just veggies? Come create your own pasta and salad bowl. Several sizes to choose from and every dish starts as not spicy and it's up to you to level it up to flamin' if you'd like. You can spice that sauce the way you like it!! Yelp Check-in Promo: 20% off your order. Yasssss for discounts!!!Location/Parking: Located in a strip mall on La Tijera. Parking can be found in the public parking lot.Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with pretty cool decor along the walls. Go nuts and take many pictures with them.Service: Service was good and food came out at a decent time. Recommendation was on point.Pasta Of Choice: 1) Flamin' Creation: Consisted of Penne pasta, ground Italian chicken sausage, fresh garlic, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, sweet peas, sun-dried tomatoes, tossed in alfredo sauce with a touch of pesto, topped with parmesan and parsley. Portion size is generous and entree was very good even though the spice level is off the charts for being mild. The staffer did say that next time I patronize the shop, I can ask for less mild so then it'll be more bearable to consume.2) Spinach Or Cheese Ravioli with marinara sauce: Decided on the spinach ravioli and it quite delicious with the marinara sauce.3) Small house special salad: Salad was fresh and refreshing. Balanced out the pasta dishes that we had. I'll ask next time if we can have the dressing on the side.Flamin' Pasta For Thought: Shop was good. I would like to visit again to try other items on their menu."
"Ordered their pepperoni and fennel pizzas. Absolutely blown away with how delicious these pizzas are. Worth every penny. Definitely need to visit in person soon"
"So good. Not going to lie, it's pricey in terms of portions. I recommend this restaurant for special occasions. The two times I've been here was to celebrate a birthday. With the outdoor rooftop dining experience and superb service, one forgets one is eating in a mall. I've had the avocado toast and tiramisu both times. The tiramisu is divine. The best I've eaten. Lattes are served in the smallest cups, so I had to order two. The gelato flavor changes on a daily basis, but when you order it, they bring out the entire cart with toppings. They scoop out the gelato at your table and you choose what toppings you want. It's in Eataly. The staircase that takes you to the restaurant is in the rear, located in the wine section."
"This place is a dream. Service was quick, and searing on the patio was cute and quiet.I can't believe the food-everything had a gf option which thrilled my gluten sensitive heart. The star of the show was the upsidedown peach pancake, sweet and sponge, generously dotted with sliced peaches and cream.I love the option to make eggs benedict with potato cakes. Everything was great, I want to go back."

Went for a drink and some dessert. The ambiance was nice, the lights are dim and it gives a very cozy yet upscale vibe. The bartender Angel was so nice and very friendly. He recommended the cream brûlée and it did not disappoint! I will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends in the area.

This was a lovely, pizza & salad sort of meal. The only reasons why I can't give it a full rating:- the music was WAY too loud. For such an intimate setting, I feel the loud music is unnecessary- no valet parking. Street parking is hard to find in Silverlake - only one bathroom makes it challenging! The inside of the restaurant is small and intimate. A great date spot or place to hang out with some friends. Service was attentive and food came out relatively quick. This is what I ordered:- Caesar Salad with added chicken - I'm not usually a fan but I was drawn to this one because they make the croutons out of pizza dough. The pieces are a bit larger than usual, but I quite liked it. Chicken was well-seasoned with a hint of rosemary. A great appetizer!- Pepperoni pizza - if you're a fan of classic pepperoni pizza, you'll likely like this one too. Nice ratio of pepperoni to cheese/sauce, and the fresh dough makes this pizza a solid winner. If you don't like too many fancy toppings on your pizza and you want to stick to the classics, order this one.- Vodka pizza - I made the mistake of ordering a fancy pizza and didn't quite like this one. The toppings sounded appealing, and I've never had vodka pizza before, but it just didn't do it for me. Perhaps one that likes vodka sauce would like this more.- Panna cotta with pretzel bits - YES this was good! It was very rich, so enjoy it slowly with a single espresso. A great way to end a nice meal.- Chocolate olive cake - so so, just tasted like regular chocolate cake to me. Nothing spectacular. Will be back!

The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and gave great recommendations! The decor is chic and upscale. I enjoyed the special--the short rib mushroom ravioli was so yummy. For dessert, I got the pistachio cheesecake but it was a bit grainy. I would try a different dessert next time :) I would come recommend coming here for a solo or partner date!

Customer service is fantastic! A great group of people work here. Thank you for your kindness! The pizza was good but nothing to dream about. Yes I dream about pizza and you should too ;) I actually liked it better the next day heated up. I ordered the build your own with bell peppers and basil. Service was very fast, pizza was ready in like 10-15 mins. It's a rather thin pizza tho and was about $25 for a medium. The restaurant is in a little strip mall on Burbank blvd, there's some seating inside, and there's a parking lot woop woop!

Went for an early dinner on a Friday night with two friends. Opted for the caesar salad, which was delicious and huge, and classic panna cotta for dessert which was beautifully executed with perfect flavor combinations. Our server was Jared (I think) and he was delightful, funny, always smiling. Only thing wrong with this visit was my friend was served fettuccine instead of spaghetti for his dish, but everything was still epic. Clean, minimalistic decor, great spot for an evening out.

"Came here for a family night and was so delighted about our experience. It was my first time here at Ma's Italian kitchen and will definitely not be my last. It is located in a shopping center so has plenty of parking. Reservations are highly recommended as it's a smaller space but popular is an understatement. A quaint restaurant with maximized seating - yet there's something so comforting about the experience. A thing that stood out to me was that we got to meet the owner himself Michel who was so personable and walking around the whole place so warm and friendly making sure everyone was having a great time. I heard this was the norm so it's such a place to know he cares not only about his customers both regulars and non regulars and his staff alike. Just a fun busy environment that makes you feel right at ease and welcomed. Not only was the food filling, tasty and generously portioned- but the service made me feel like a VIP member or something. We always felt taken care of- our server Carlos gave us so much attention to detail and even recommended us some things off the menu as I'm super indecisive and wanted to try it all. I would definitely recommend requesting him as he had great wine recommendations and pairings to our food. I left highly satisfied and overstuffed as I gladly ate all the carb intake I would usually take in one week in one sitting haha. For the food we ordered so many things to share. I must mention a highlight that I don't see often; and if you're a seafood lover like me you may enjoy it too. Their clam pizza is unique and flavorful- hot and fresh from the oven, if you like clams this is a must try. They are NOT stingy with the amount of clams they put on that pizza so I indulged at every bite. Honorable mentions to their fresh garlic knots they provided and our order of fried mozzarella because this is the way to go if you want finger foods and are sharing. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs but just typing this out, I don't regret it one bit. From pastas, pizzas, full entries like steak or salmon to salads that are worth every bite, they have anything to fulfill your needs- even a vegan section which is amazing! Do NOT skip out on their desserts- the butterscotch budino is heavenly, rich and out of this world. And that cup of cappuccino gave me life to top the night off.Again thank you Carlos, Michel and Bruce and the rest of the staff that I can't list on top of my head. See you again!"
"Sunday Gravy is everything they say it is and more! To start off our meal we had the Caesar salad and cheesy garlic bread. The salad was great I loved the generous amount of cheese they use, and the little spice there is. The cheesy garlic bread is crazy good and full of flavor. The cheese pull was a beautiful sight to see!! Last but definitely not least, the short rib ragu... I am so amazed! I haven't been taken aback by a plate of pasta in a while but this did it for me!! The meat is so soft and their sauce is perfectttt, I want to try the other plates but I think I'm stuck on this one for a while!"
"Im so glad I foun3d this place online, and the first time I ordered the food here was to myself. I really enjoyed it and love it. The food was so flavorful and fresh. So I decided to go back and order food for all my friends and I.We had a Fiestas with a couple of different dishes, and they really loved it. One of my friends' kids who is really picky and approved the food plus asked for a second time it's says alot how good food the food is.We will definitely order from here often! We had Black Ink Linguini with SeafoodPork Belly with lentosLasagnaChicken melanze Grilled octopus Everything came out perfect and delicious, and it was really smooth to pick up the food, too.Include plenty of parking Thank you guys for awesome food!"
"Sometimes I wonder why does this place have bad reviews?I mean everytime I go it's pleasant. And the food? The food is great! I usually get pepperoni pizza or cheese. The drinks are good. (Usually get a coke or orange bang.)Orange bang is very goodSo is the coke and pizza.Service is good! So ignore the bad reviews. This place is to die for!!(P.S. they have chips inside Like Doritos or Lays and they're good!!)"
"Fantastic new pasta restaurant in the area!I love handmade pasta. And Carasau 100% delivered on taste, texture, and quality! Pastas here are extremely customizable. You pick a handmade pasta option, (vegan options are available too!), pick a sauce, and them pick an optional protein. I got the melloredus with the mushroom sauce and the meatballs. Divine! The pasta was very clearly hand made, perfect chew, and was a great selection for the sauce I chose. The meatballs were also impressive. I didn't expect too much from them, and was blown away. Beef meatballs too I think. My husband got the spinach ravioli with the cherry tomato sauce. It was also delicious, the sauce being the best accompaniment for the pasta. I personally liked my pasta dish better though. The chef/owner(?) also provided a free focaccia bread basket. I love focaccia but the husband doesn't due to how heavy and oily it can be sometimes. But not here! The bread had a fantastic texture inside and was light and airy. I'd totally buy this, not just as an appetizer, but to soak up all the delicious sauce. This restaurant also has wine, salads, sandwiches, indoor and outdoor seating. Really friendly and nice service. I'd come back to try their lasagne, the burrata, and definitely more of their handmade pasta. 100% recommend."
"I had a large group of 15 for my birthday here mid/late December. Their private room was already booked but they reserved for me a large table that accommodated everyone comfortably. I got a bunch of food of pizzas, pastas, salads and bottles of wine. We ate family style and the food was amazing and plentiful. I loved that I was able to create my own menu and the staff were so accommodating and kind. Food was brought out promptly and I'm still getting calls about how much fun everyone had. I can't recommend this place enough. It's affordable with incredible quality of food and service. I worked with Michael to make the event and he made all of us feel welcomed. Do yourself a favor and eat here and host your events here, you won't regret it. Thank you Michael and the Della Terra team for providing such a memorable night."
"Officially open! This place is going to explode in popularity, so come by now before there's a line out the door. This is primarily a take-out spot, with just a few tables inside. What to get:Pizza - a variety of pizzas available by the slice at the counter. There's pesto, fresh tomatoes, rapini, prosciutto. Omg, you can't go wrong. The pizzas are soo good.Pasta - Fresh pasta dishes, made to order. Check out the menu. I tried a pesto pasta during the soft opening and it was delicious.Fresh Pasta - Take some pasta home with you to prepare at home. There's spaghetti, linguini, rotini, penne, and more. Keep the pasta refrigerated so it stays fresh.I can't say enough good things about Al Dente. Everything is amazing."
"Came on valentine's with my little family. There was a wait but only about 10 minutes which is exceptionally fast. We were seated and ordered the dishes we have heard most about. They did not disappoint!! Definitely get the pasta, it was so creamy and had great umami. The chicken and cheese was a bit spicy for us (at the mild level) but paired with the cheese really helped cut though the spice. My 7 year old was enticed with the atmosphere and kpop videos on loop. Service was also phenomenal. Must try in LA!!"
"First time here and James provided prompt and attentive service! Got seated right away. Food came out quick and was very fresh. What we ordered:-- Spicy spare ribs - good kick of flavor-- Calamari - crispy and not rubbery. the yuzu aioli accompaniment was so bomb-- Meatballs - if Costco meatballs are a 10 this is an 11-- Bolognese pasta - made with a tender short rib style meat vs a traditional ground beef and tasted great-- Chicken katsu curry - classic and nostalgic flavor-- Carbonara - creamy goodness"
"My latest visit to La Pizza & La Pasta in Eataly, in Century City, Los Angeles, California was a quick trip to grab a bite before heading back to Las Vegas. It was a Saturday evening and without any reservations, I was very happy to be seated immediately. The busboy asked me if I wanted tap water or bottled water, then he quickly returned with the preferred water. The waitress came over and asked if I had any questions about the menu, and also asked if I wanted to drink any alcoholic beverage or anything besides water. I ordered the Sparkling Italian Soda, which was very refreshing.Ordered the Classic Calzone and waited patiently. In a very reasonable time, my food arrived. The calzone was very good, although the stuffing could have been a little bit more than it was. I think it was two tiny pieces of prosciutto with some cheese in it. The dough was delicious, crispy but not too dry, just enough crunchy. The restaurant was pretty busy! I was definitely happy to be able to get seated and happy to be served quickly. I'll definitely return when I am in the area."
"Pizzana, the Neapolitan style pizzeria with a few locations in the Los Angeles area brought to you by Daniele Uditi originally from Naples, Italy and Robin, of Batman and Robin! (Chris O'Donnell). This is the second location I've been to with the first being in Brentwood. The spot is located on the busy Ventura Blvd of Sherman Oaks. The vibe here feels more like a family run restaurant than the Brentwood location. The service here was quick and friendly. It's not a large restaurant, but they use the space pretty well and it has a minimalistic decor feel to it.A couple friends and myself came in specifically to order the Padrino sandwich, which was brought back for this weekend only. (4/13 & 4/14/24) so we ordered a couple of sandwiches, the Cacio and Pepe pizza, and the artichoke appetizer. I've been hearing so many good things about the sandwich and it definitely lives up to everything I've heard. Me and my friends absolutely loved the sandwich. Such a good combination of mortadella and spicy soppressata on some delicious bread. Pacio and Pepe pizza was fantastic as well. The flavors with the freshly cracked pepper came through each bite. I love the crust on the pizza as well. I also thought the artichoke starter was good, but if I were to come back again, I definitely would like to try something else on the starter menu or a salad. All in all, this was a great location and I have no complaints here. Really delicious food and great people. I found parking on the street a block away. Since the street could get busy, parking might be a little tough from time to time."
"This place is straight fire! Never thought a fast casual pizza pasta place can be so good. The pizza here is comparable to Mozza, Milo & Olive, Pizzana and other high end Neapolitan style pizza you would get at a high end restaurant. Sorry Nancy, you are now second place in the crust game. The dough was out of this world. First the vibes.. instantly transported to Mykonos. The service is perfect and the ordering system is very straight forward. I also thought the pricing was very fair. My favorite pizza was the Miso and my favorite pasta was the Black Forest. Unique, quality and satisfying. Truly one of the best places I've tried this year."
"Great selection of dishes and beverages. Food quality and service very good. Nice neighborhood spot. I'd suggest that servers refrain from wearing strong cologne/perfume as it can be overbearing."
"Food was pretty good but service was inexcusably slow for a simple order especially given the high prices.Pros:+ Spaghetti and meatballs were tasty. Meatballs were very meaty with the blend and seasonings.Cons:- A simple spaghetti and meatballs order took 35 minutes on a weekday night that was not very busy. We ordered what we thought would be a simple meal to be served quickly but were sorely disappointed.- A simple bowl of spaghetti and meatballs was $26 plus tax, which was way too expensive for the portion. I would expect a family size platter for $35 after tax and tip."
"What a great night !My girlfriend made a reservation for for Cesare restaurant , to be honest I was a little worried since I am Italian and I know the real deal !Nothing to worried about, great service, great food and what great ambiance, so cozy so perfect with everything !Great job Pamela and Cesare It was pleasure meeting you and dine in your restaurant .Ciao and c yu soon !!!"
