"I was led to this parking lot because the EV charger is always working and available. I happened to be hungry and so many people were placing an order so I decided to see what the hype was about. The chicken shawarma wrap is beyond delicious! So many good flavors and a perfect serving size. My friend was in town from London and said it was the best shawarma he's had. The chef is really cool and personable. I just hope they partner with postmates soon so I can order from home."
"STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great middle eastern eats in a hidden part of downtown LA. While wandering around DTLA we spotted an interesting area called St Vincent's Court, a movie set-style European village built back in the 1950s in the middle of the Jewelry District. Originally it used to have more Italian businesses, but now it's primarily Middle Eastern. We strolled all the way to where the street ended, and spotted Mima's. An elderly gentleman who was dining outside on their patio saw us looking at the menu and told us they had a lot of vegetarian options (did we look that obvious? lol), so we decided to check them out. The atmosphere was humble but pleasant--definitely felt like a family establishment. We weren't super-hungry so decided to share a falafel plate, which was very good! The crispy-tender falafels were served with ultra-smooth hummus and tahini, pickled onions, and pita bread that was thinner and chewier than we were used to, but still good. The service was friendly and prices reasonable. The only offered bottled water, though, which seemed kind of weird, but not a dealbreaker. Would be down to check them out again the next time we're in the area."

"Little Door will always hold a special place in my heart because it's where I got engaged! This French restaurant exudes romance with its twinkling lights and intimate atmosphere--it's simply gorgeous. My fiancé worked with the staff beforehand to create the perfect surprise, and they went above and beyond to make it a night I will never forget. When I arrived, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers already waiting at our table, setting the most romantic tone for the evening.I ordered the filet mignon, which was absolutely delicious, and the entire dining experience was flawless. The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel so special by offering free Prosecco and a complimentary crème brûlée to celebrate our engagement. This place will forever be our spot, and we couldn't be more grateful to the staff for their role in making it such a memorable night. Thank you so much, Little Door, for making our engagement a magical experience!"
"We came in about two hours before closing. They were only doing takeout, TWO hours before closing. We ordered the chicken luleh plate for takeout, but I believe they gave me the beef. Not a big fan of eating red meat, but I was already far away. The plate was super delicious. I liked the eggplant side. Sadly, they were out of garlic sauce. Overall, tasty food, and I'd recommend if you'd like a filling meal."
"Use to eat at this location back in the mid to late 90's when I worked at LAX. Food was just as good as I remember it to be. Portions are huge. My wife and I could have easily shared a plate and still have leftovers.lol, and I'm a pretty big eater. Highly recommend this place."
"It's a place where you walk up and order. There is a shaded patio area in front with a couple tables and chairs you eat at. I never had fusion like this before, I ordered the chicken shawarma tacos and upgraded my salad to a side of Tzatziki salad. The chicken was not dry at all and was flavored with Mediterranean spices. The hummus that came with the combo plate was delicious and smooth I ate it all. My favorite salad is Tzatziki so of course I had to have that upgrade and think there were small pieces of nopal in it?! It was a great lunch and glad my friend brought me along to try a unique spot. Vegan options available like the falafel."
"TLV Tapas Bar's 2nd anniversary was very tasty. The atmosphere was electric with a live DJ and a lively crowd. The set menu (see photos) featured vibrant Mediterranean flavors, and I had the chance to try: *Jerusalem Bagel - Warm, fluffy, and perfect with za'atar olive oil and tomato purée*Tzatziki - A cashew cheese twist with cucumber, garlic, dill, and chili flakes.*Zaaluk - Smoky fire-roasted eggplant with spicy shushka peppers and garlic confit*Okra - Tossed with lemon, soy sauce, and urfa pepper for a tangy, slightly spicy bite*Oyster Mushroom - Tender, with fresh herb gremolata, citrus, and sumac*Cauliflower Steak - Hearty, with beef demi-glaze, capers, and wild dill*Salat Hashuk - Crisp and refreshing with radish, cucumber, tomatoes, mint, and citrus vinaigrette*Arugula Salad - Peppery and balanced with fennel, pomegranate, beets, pine nuts, and sumac vinaigrette*Chilean Sea Bass - Buttery and perfectly cooked, paired with charred bok choy and Persian lemonBeyond the food, TLV's partnership with the LATTC Foundation made the night even more special, supporting scholarships for aspiring chefs.Overall, a fantastic celebration of food, community, and giving back. Cheers to many more anniversaries, TLV!"
"I ordered through uber eats. I ordered the chicken kebab plate, first thing I love the "Happy New Year" message. Super nice. The food was delivered hot, it is very delicious . I will defiantly be ordering from here again."
"This place has excellent and healthy food. Big portions, great prices and most importantly, really good taste and quality. Since I love close by, I usually walk up and order. If it's busy and the order is going to take a while, I just go back at the time quoted and it's ready. And I get some steps in in the process. Im a pescatarian so I still to the non meat options. The felafel is so good! I usually don't like felafel because I'm often disappointed, but it has never been the case here. Perfect crunch outside, deliciously spiced and moist on the inside. I get the wrap or the plate and with the latter I usually have leftovers. I also like the cheese sambusik which are cheese empanadas. The foul is delicious and hearty. You get ALOT with the order and it comes with fresh tomatoes, pickles, hot peppers and pita bread. My meat eating friends really like the hummus with filet. I don't know how the owner does it all. He must work really hard and still doesn't skimp on quality. I like having this healthy option in the neighborhood. I just hope he doesn't burn out from all that he does."
"I found this restaurant while searching for a Greek place on the Westside. The reviews were promising, so we decided to check it out. It's a small, unassuming place with a few tables inside and many nice photos of Greece on the walls. The service was great, very friendly, and prompt. The food was just okay. We ordered the hummus, and it was watery, not something I would have expected from hummus. The garlic sauce was overpowering with garlic and had no flavor besides garlic. I would not recommend the garlic sauce. I had the salmon plate, and it was very dry and overcooked. The salad was okay, and the rice that came with it was okay as well. It was just very underwhelming. The Greek chicken plate was also dry and not good."
"What I Ordered:-Lemon and Garlic Chicken with Rice, Spicy Hummus and Regular Hummus 1/2 of each, potato salad and a pita $19.99-Cauliflower Fritters $7.99I was watching random videos on Youtube and came across a video of someone going to Jerusalem Chicken and I was intrigued. The Cauliflower Fritter and Chicken plates looked insanely delicious. I knew that I wanted Siri's Original which is the chicken stuffed with rice and mushrooms, but I asked the staff there about what's the most popular chicken dishes and I was told the lemon garlic chicken was the most popular chicken dish. I opted to change my order to the lemon and garlic chicken with half spicy hummus and regular hummus with a side of potato salad. It comes with pita. The Lemon and Garlic Chicken was fantastic! That's not an understatement. The chicken was seasoned well and so flavorful! It came on top of a bed of rice. I felt like the rice was a bit rice. It could have been due to the juices of the chicken, but I don't think that was the case. I would have liked the rice to be more fluffy. The potato salad was different than other potato salads that I've had before with a strong herbs taste, but it was quite nice. I like it! When I was asking the staff which hummus was better. They offered the option of half and half. The lady in line behind me chimed in to get the spicy hummus and how its the best spicy hummus she's ever had. She wasn't wrong the spicy hummus was legit. So was the regular version. I really like the option to get both. It's the best of both worlds. The pita was disappointing. It wasn't hot or warm for that matter. It didn't taste super fresh more like something you would get in a package from the grocery store. I was dipping it in the hummus to make it taste better. I still feel the pita feel short of my expectations. The Cauliflower Fritters were good, but they weren't super fresh. When I ordered it, I noticed they were sitting out on top of a paper towel to soak up the oil. I asked the staff, is it fresh? and he said it was. I was kind of a fool to not insist for a fresh order, but I don't want to be that pain in the butt customer. Fried food that's not fresh is often soggy. This was the case of the cauliflower fritters. It wasn't very busy when I came in for a late lunch on a weekday. I feel like they had time to fry me up a new order especially when I was getting a full side. I really want to try this again, but I wouldn't get a cold and soggy fritter again. I highly recommend that you get the lemon and garlic chicken with the spicy/regular hummus and the potato salad. You cannot go wrong with this order. I would ask for a fresh order of cauliflower fritters and some warm pita especially if the line is not too long. The staff was very attentive and friendly. One of the guys who I assumed was the owner and boss came over to check in with me ask how I liked it. I will still say 5/5 because that chicken tho. This portion size is humongous. I'm a pretty big guy and I was so full they should have carted me out in a wheelbarrow. You can definitely share this order amongst two people. I only ate one Cauliflower fritter. I didn't even finish the pita because it wasn't so fresh tasting. That gives you an idea of big the portion sizes are. I can't wait to come back here. I'm salivating just thinking about that lemon and garlic chicken. You must come here and try their delicious food! You won't be disappointed!"
"The wraps are very good and for a reasonable cost, we ordered pickup and will be adding Dama to our mix of where to order from when we are too lazy to cook. The meat has a lot of flavor, and the wraps are very filling. The falafels are also pretty good. Don't skimp on the sauces, garlic is dank but delicious. They also give a pretty substantial amount of fries, so if your kids are fry monsters like mine, they will be happy."

Just tried the schwarma and kebab and WOW. Best Ive had in LA. There was a little bit of a language barrier so I wasnt sure what I ordered. The guys are super nice so I just took a chance.I hope they stick around this area because Im down to make this a regular spot. This is authentic schawarma. You can taste exactly how this inspired tacos al pastor.

Amazing authentic Mediterranean food (Armenian). Side of delicious green olives, babaganoush, Greek salad with feta. All had incredible spices. 2 people had the chicken kabob with side salad and loved it. Pita bread on the side. A hidden gem. Also delicious grapes leaves. Different spices than Greek grape leaves

Came here for the second time and it did not disappoint! Came to celebrate a friend's birthday, we were a party of 6 and we made reservations. The "outdoor" space here is just amazing. Imagine you're eating within the trees. Very well set up for sure. Love the ambiance here. The food is also great here. I've tried a lot of their dishes and I haven't found something that wasn't amazing! Love their alcohol cocktails too! Very well put together place. I will definitely visit again! The staff is great too, a lot of help, water refills, and just everything.

Love, love, love it here! I visited Petit Cafe one late Saturday afternoon, I loved it so much, I came back the next evening on a Sunday to find that they were already closed due to shorter business hours on Sundays. (Totally understandable!)My hopes and dreams were crushed! (Lol, okay I'm being dramatic! Haha) But I had been wondering all day about what I was going to order when I went back that day. The food was just that good! I ordered shrimp with rice and let me tell you, it had lots of flavor! I couldn't stop eating it even after I was already full. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely be back and try out some more of their signature dishes like the kabobs and gyros. If they're half as good as the shrimp I had, then they'll be amazing!

X'tiosu Kitchen makes delicious Mexican-influenced Mediterranean fare. It's a unique restaurant in LA. There's a history of Lebanese immigration to Mexico, and thankfully we Angelenos are better off for having X'tiosu here to give us a taste of this food. The kabobs are delicious, the beef and chicken are fine but my favorite is the chorizo kabob. The shawarma and falafel are tasty. The Oaxacan hummus stands out -- whipped black beans with Oaxacan spices, topped with extra virgin olive oil. The tabbouleh Oaxaca salad is also outstanding, made with nopales, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, parsley and citrus. The creamy babaganoush has a nice mix of spices and a pool of olive oil. The pita that accompanies many of the dishes is very good. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. The restaurant is located in a small modest strip mall in Boyle Heights, where they have a few outdoor tables (nothing indoors). There's parking in a small lot and some street parking. Many customers are taking food to go. Definitely make an effort to try their food, it's distinctive and delicious.

Full disclosure my review is based on being a guest at a party that was held in this restaurant. I have seen this place a lot as I live around this area but first time to go to attend a party. Well first off it's a Kosher restaurant and bar so that tells you that this is probably going to be more expensive than your regular bar and restaurant. The party I attended had about 50 guests and the service was great, servers paid attention to our drinks make sure we keep getting wine (well they sell each bottle so...) and the table setting and prep was really classy. We were served a 4-course meal so the starters, appetizers and salad was a lot. There were probably about 5-7 apps - my favorites are - Jerusalem bagel (so good especially when it was hot) the oyster mushroom skewers were delish the bluefin sashimi was also good and I'm glad my section of the table most of the guests didn't eat the raw fish. For the mains - we were served ribeye steak medium rare and I think it's very well seasoned and cooked right. The branzino was perfect and was a favorite at our side of the table. The desserts were served as well - there's one that stands out - the pistachio - I've never had that before and it was definitely worth a try.Place looks like a high end date night for those who observe Kosher and music is also to their taste. It can be loud for some people but I'm fine with it - definitely giving you that party / late night vibes.

A hidden gem. Seriously. I love this place and the owner is A very nice man ( I think he's the owner) But the food is so good, and their garlic spread is out of this world. Very nice dinning area with two large tvs usually playing sports. Very good atmosphere, and again INCREDIBLE food.

"Delicious! I think it was supposed to come with hummus? So I think they made a mistake. But the garlic spread and the chicken marinade is so good here! $10.50 for this is amazing !! Service is quick. I did take out so ambiance is not applicable here."
"Just picked up a chicken plate and falafel tonight. Service was really great and the food was ready quickly. Overall the plate was tasty! The smoked eggplant dip was something that really stood out to me and lives up to its name - there's a strong smoke flavor that I really enjoyed."
"I had to stop by because the photos looked amazing!! It went from wanting to do a sit down to hole in the wall real fast. There is a small window you can order from the food was prepared very quickly, and I was able to take it to a nearby spot in front of the beach and eat it. It was very flavorful, and the portions were large and shareable. The owner was very sweet and I would definitely come back!"
"I took advantage of a discount to try this Persian spot. The beef koobideh was very moist and tasty. The plate also came with salad and rice, which was pretty good, salad could be a little fresher. Service was a bit awkward. It's counter service so I tipped ahead pretty well and the guy was nice enough but he kept forgetting to bring me water and utensils. There was only one person working upfront and he disappeared in the back for long periods of time so maybe they are short staffed."
"My friends and I had a lovely time here after watching a ballet at the theatre next door. Everything we had was great, including the bubbly and rosé. There was live music as well--a pianist and an opera singer who sang with such gusto and passion, it was like a double dose of theatre that night. I had the halibut, I was expecting a larger portion for the price, but it was delicious--the lemony couscous complimented the grilled fish perfectly. The ashta was the best I've ever had, I love the way it was prepared with the little rose water pouring spout. We'll definitely be back again when in the area!"
"One thing that can be said about Bacari is that each location is beautiful. However, the Beverly Hills restaurant is Très chic! Co-owner Robert Kronfli worked with Adean Studios to create an atmosphere that exudes a classic elegance. I've been eagerly anticipating the opening of this gem located on the corner of Brighton Way & Camden Dr. Even though I missed the soft opening, I had the honor of being the first customer on the grand opening day and had the pleasure of meeting owners Danny Kronfli, Robert Kronfli, & Chef Lior Hillel. The staff here are so friendly & welcoming. Everyone greeted me warmly and they all genuinely seemed happy to work here. I heard, "they treat us like family," from several of the employees.Dennis the bartender was an absolute doll, as was the other bartender that was working with him. I had a delightful conversation with them both while sipping on my Bacarita. Comprised of Tequila, Watermelon, jalapeño, basil, & lime it was a tasty & refreshing treat. I ordered the Little Gem Salad to go since I had to get back to the office. I've dinned at other Bacari locations in the past and the food has always been top notch and my salad did not disappoint. The combination of chickpea crunch, parsnip chips, parmesan, & cherry tomatoes mixed with the delicate little gem lettuce was a delight on the taste buds. The dressing was also very good. This place has such a great vibe - from the ambience to the staff to the food & drink they check all the right boxes. I recommend stopping in for a delicious meal and an exceptional dining experience."
"We randomly spotted this restaurant on the way home and walked in, we were seated right away. I find the venue to be cute and cozy, yet intimate. Every dish had a generous serving, I think we over ordered for two people, but it was satisfying. Chicken Tawook: The chicken was tender, juicy, and marinated to perfection. It had the perfect blend of spices that gave it a rich flavor without being overpowering.Spicy Hummus with Chicken Shawarma: This dish was a standout! The hummus was creamy and had just the right level of heat, and the generous portion of chicken shawarma on top made it hearty and satisfying.Yogurt Cucumber Dip: Light and refreshing, the dip provided a cooling contrast to the spicier dishes. It was perfect for pairing with warm pita bread or as a side to the Tawook.Lebanese Salad: Crisp and fresh, the salad was well-balanced with a light lemony dressing that brought out the flavors of the fresh vegetables.Baba Ganoush: Smoky and smooth, the baba ganoush was an excellent appetizer. It had a deep, roasted eggplant flavor that was complemented by a hint of garlic and tahini.I would highly recommend Open Sesame to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying Lebanese dining experience!"
"I highly recommend this restaurant for many reasons. Not only is it a beautiful and clean establishment, the staff were super attentive; every waiter that visited our table was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It was the perfect time to visit as the whole place was decorated, and tastefully so, for Christmas. There were several Christmas trees in different sizes adorned with different color schemes of ornaments on each one. The whole place felt festive but in a classy way. We had the privilege of being an activation for a company party celebrating at this beautiful restaurant and were treated as guests the entire night. I had some concerns about my dietary restrictions and the staff were so accommodating and brought us dishes I could enjoy. I have to say I'm not sure if the dishes that were brought to us are on the menu, but they were delicious. All of the ingredients were so fresh and seasoned to perfection. Simple yet so memorable. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or go on a date night. I had the best experience on my first visit. I hope to revisit someday."
"Great location. Very cool vibe. The ambiance is baller. We ordered the hummus; perfect light snack. Definitely will come back!"
"Food 5/5: super fresh veggies, flavorful profiles main and side dishes, sauces were on point, not greasy, chicken was very juicy, all the flavor went well with each other.Service 5/5: very friendly, gave small bottled water for free.Ambiance 5/5: very aesthetic, cultural paintings and decorations. Very good experience! I highly recommend."
"5 stars all around, well worth the trip! I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet but was glad I tried their maple glazed donut and vanilla sprinkle donut. Both were tasty and not too sweet. We tried a bunch of sandwiches, all were delicious but here are our faves from best to still great: 1) lamb and beef gyro laffa 2) ribeye cheesesteak 3) Nashville hot cod sandwich 4) garlic chicken baked baguette 5) fried cod sandwich. We would love to go back and try the others, especially the khachapuri!Service was prompt and helpful. They made great recommendations and know how to handle large crowds in their tiny shop. Hoping they can expand their seating area as our party of 6 took up most of the space. This is more of a spot you would take to go."
"The Service: Excellent! Very attentive and efficient. The staffs are always walking around the restaurant to see if customers need anything. And they take care of it right away! The Food: Love their beef kabob! So tender and flavorful. I like their grilled vegetables as well. Huge portion. Totally a family style meal. The Parking: Street metered parking or parking lot nearby."
"Kabob bowl is a SOLID option if you want a clean, healthy meal that also tastes delicious and of good quality.I typically order the chicken bowl for $10; you can customize the base with rice or salad or a mix of both, and then you get to pick 2 sides from their list to go with your chicken. For sides, I enjoy the roasted vegetables and the shizrahi most. The bean stew is also good but better when you order a plate instead of bowl, because then they give it to you in a small cup rather than douse it over your entire bowl of rice. I've also ordered their wraps before which was also tasty but not quite as good as the bowls. Perfect spot for lunch!! Delicious, clean, healthy Mediterranean food. Also, can you beat the price at $10?!"
"This is my first time there.I made reservation for the Xmas set-dinner $49 plus tip plus tax.1) Decor is cute middle eastern restaurant2) The waitress and owner is super nice3) Food are so good.4) Chicken Kabab is so tender and perfect grilled. Cooked, but not chew.Almost the best chicken kebab, I ever eat.5) beef koobideh 's spice marinate id perfect6) Rice pilaf is also perfect.Definitely need to go back"
"I've been to Kismet and I've worked in Burbank, but never had the pleasure of take-out chicken from Kismet Rotisserie until last week, when I bopped in for a quick office lunch. I plan to be in the area often this summer, and I'll be repeating this exact meal whenever I get the chance.I didn't even order my own lunch--it was waiting for me when I arrived, an absolute gift. It was a quarter chicken plate, the chicken accompanied by hummus, wedge salad, pickles, pita, chili oil, and garlic sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, even more so with a dip in the chili oil and garlic sauce, and I loved the tangy pickles. The wedge salad was light and pleasant, with crisp lettuce, radishes, and miso poppy dressing, and I enjoyed the hummus. I also got some of the schmaltzy potatoes, an excellent side, fried beautifully brown and tender in chicken fat.I might visit Kismet Rotisserie in person one day, but I know I'll get it to go again. I have a pretty good sense of the take-out power rankings in Burbank, and this place is right at the top of the list."
"Omg!! If you haven't tried this place you need to go... now! Healthy and fresh Mediterranean ingredients make up a tasty bowl. The service is amazing! Plenty of places to eat there, inside or outside. Enjoy!!"
"Service was ok. Went during lunch so he was busy. Establishment is small inside. It's also a hookah lounge, so if you don't like smoke, then this establishment isn't for you. Pricing was fair. Food was excellent. I'm returning."
"Our second visit and it was as good as our first visit. It is not in a main restaurant area, so you will need to look for it. The Armenian Salad was deliciously fresh. The pork BBQ was the best meat we had, followed closely by the lamb chops. The chicken breast was very good but lost out in a tough competition. We added Fries which are slices of potatoes, not French fries. They were not greasy and seasoned very nicely. And we had the Adjarian Khachapouri again, because we could not pass up this mouth watering delight. A sumptuous mix of bread, cheese , egg and spices. Add in a clean patio for dining, a friendly and attentive owner, and it is not to be missed."
"Just had lunch with my cousins at Veranda to celebrate my sisters birthday. The atmosphere here is amazing. Beautifully designed patio with a nice bar in the corner. The food was delicious and tastefully plated. I loved the appetizer shrimp. It was so fresh and flavorful. The flatbreads were also amazing so was the beet salad. Let's just say the food was great but I can't say the same for the drinks or the service. But overall I enjoyed the ambiance and the food very much. It's also a great place to host parties. It's a beautiful venue."
"I've been coming to RoRo's for like 15 years or something. Nothings changed and it's still just as tasty as ever. In a world where quality seems to diminish over time, RoRo's has stood the testament of time and is still one of my favorite hole in the wall spots to eat at in Hollywood. The service is very friendly and the food is very tasty! Don't forget the garlic sauce! A great addition to any meal. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma plate. It comes with pita bread and they will heat up the pita for you if you ask. The hummus is amazing and I love making my own little pita pockets out of the ingredients on the plate. The side salad is very yummy too with an amazing dressing!"
"So glad we came across this place during an unfortunate stay at the hospital nearby. Got the vibe as soon as I read a sign saying "'Good food takes time. Call someone you love while you wait theywill appreciate it." That hit the spot during a time like this. Food was great and yes, we didn't make calls but used the time to chat and have meaningful conversation. The man at the cashier was very nice and welcomed us like family. Skirt steak sandwich was great. Bread was perfect. It wasn't overloaded with unnecessary ingredients. Cesar salad was huge! We shared and still had leftover. Fries are a higher gem with perfect crust and balanced flavor. Skirt steak plate I didn't try but my son scarfed it down in 2 minutes and gave me a thumbs up!"
"July 2024 | On Melrose: Casablanca Moroccan Kitchens was at the top of my list via DineLA! After an event, we raced to the other side of town & made our 3PM reservations! What a beautiful surprise it was! The restaurant excelled in food, flavor, hospitality & decor!Veggie Tangine: Veggies arrive piled high! It was that same delicious "hard-hitting flavor" I experienced & was addicted to during my solo travels throughout Morocco last year! The "SPICES" are definitely spicing! YES! My tastebuds were dancing constantly! I highly recommend this dish! I only asked for harissa on the side, because I experienced it in Morocco, which heightened the flavor on a heat level! This dish is plentiful; I had leftovers!Sample Platter: Each colorful bite released delicious flavor via the vibrant carrots, beets unlike I experienced before & a flavorful salad dish! Yum & what a delicious mix of flavors via all three dishes, which excited my taste buds!Bread & Olives: YUM!! Freshly baked, piping hot & absolutely delicious! We had plenty! Dipped into the olive oil and balsamic vinegar, even more flavor... Yet, the bread is great on its own! Imagine that! The olives were to die for, so yummy!Baklava: YES, please! Three freshly baked pieces arrived on a beautiful platter! Sweet, flaky deliciousness, so glad I saved room for a bite... the one bite turned into a few more bites...hahaha! I took the other two pieces home! Thanks again to Anis for showing me the baklava fresh out of the oven and as he was cutting the pieces! Heartfelt Warm Customer Service: Everyone was wildly friendly from the moment my friend and I walked in! Thanks again Anis & Eli! I felt like I had walked into your personal home! You were both so friendly, accommodating and conversation flowed easily! Beautiful Interior: The decor blew me away once we walked into the dining area! What a colorful surprise & quite a dreamy Moroccan sensory experience! I was quite vocal as to how much I loved the place! Hahaha! Beautiful decor, so many colorful flowers, framed images from Morocco, unique variety of seating, melodic music & other exciting details flooded my mind with memories of Morocco! Loved it!Overall: Absolutely returning! If there were more than five stars, I would add them! I even took a moment in between bites to message friends the link to the restaurant, as well as the DineLA menu! Haha! What a phenomenal experience in all areas! Thank you to the gracious Anis & Eli, as well as everyone I interacted with! You are incredible and welcoming, and I appreciated every moment of being at Casablanca Moroccan Kitchens! I'm so excited to return, as well as to experience the belly dancing show on the weekend...fun!!"
"I've been coming here since 2008/2009, when I attended UCLA and lived down the street. Over a decade later, and I'm still routinely driving down from the valley to get my freshly baked chicken wowshi (topped with veggies, tahini, and the very hot hot sauce). The sauce bar is still perfection and they haven't compromised the quality of anything. The icing on the cake is that the food is halal! Also, the staff here is always friendly. In fact, when I went there this evening, I finally got to meet the owner! I couldn't help but gush about how long I've been coming here. Went to grad school, moved to different places, and have lived a whole life since 2008--but Bella Pita has always been a constant. Obviously, I'll be back soon."
