"Bestie selected Vitello's for his birthday dinner this year. His brother and I traditionally take him out to a place of his choice. We'd all heard of Vitello's but hadn't ever eaten here. I'm totally down for a spot where a dude murders his wife out front. I actually kind of like it! Adds a little razzle dazzle! Like a murder mystery dinner, without the mystery. I made a booking for the second floor lounge knowing they have live music and thought that would add to the celebratory aspect. I haven't seen much of the regular restaurant and we have had drinks at their other speak easy style bar some time ago but The Velvet Martini Lounge was really cute. I liked it, and kept asking myself do I really like this, is it too kitschy? Are they trying to hard to make it "jazzy" but I think my answer kept returning to, no. I was diggin' it and the live music. The female singer and guy on piano made an awesome duo! The drinks were fine. I'm typically a bourbon old fashioned or glass of red wine type gal, unless it's a Mexican joint then obviously its margs. The menu looked great, we all decided on something different. My bestie had sausage and peppers which he actually makes at home and is damn good so it surprised me he opted for this entree as it does when he selects something I make at home. I always find it challenging to eat out when I do a ton of cooking, so it really takes a certain je ne sais quoi to impress me much. We all started with salads, his brother and I had their dinner salad and my bestie had some sort of strawberry (my least fav berry) and arugula salad that actually looked pretty outstanding.I ordered the butternut squash ravioli in a brown butter sage sauce and his brother had the filet. We all cleared our plates so the food certainly wasn't bad in any way but I didn't get the feeling that I needed to rush back any time soon for the menu, if that makes any sense at all...The place really is nice if you feel like grabbing a cocktail, relaxing around adults, listening to music, and grabbing a nice bite to eat. It's not the type of place I'd select for my birthday, more of a - go check them out one random Saturday when you feel like trying something new type deal.I'd definitely recommend a booking, quite honestly I'm not certain you can just pull up on a Saturday evening and snag a table so do make one if you feel like checking them out. We skipped dessert because we had an ice cream cake at home but I would have been interested in knowing what was on the dessert menu.Service was great, we weren't in any rush whatsoever so the pace was fine. I think the live music helps ;)All in all we had a great evening together!"
""Let's do the time warp again...it's just a jump to the left and then a step to the right," right into The Well...located demurley across the street from The Hollywood Palladium...it's a great local hang for the neighborhood to grab a cocktail/food before a show. I dare you to step inside...the music, lighting, decor and vibe will pull you in and keep you there for hours. My new "happy" place in Hollywood...the bar is hopping with lots of mixers shaking, laughter, pouring and sipping. We cozied up to the bar and Kirstie made our drinks. Loved her look and her drinks were even better! All the bartenders were rockin their orders. Plenty of big leather comfy stools surrounded the entire circumference of the bar as well as leather high top booths. Vince, one of the owners, came out and introduced himself to us. He has owned The Well with his partner James since 2001. It was a private bar in the early 70's. *Metered Street parking available if you can find it. Otherwise plenty of parking lots - one located right next to The Well. *Great music which is always a plus! *prices are comparable to most bar/lounges in LA"

"Came here for a friend's birthday party in which he rented it out for 150 plus friends and family. It was open bar with bar food type snacks. The drinks were good, not too strong which was fine because we were there to socialize. The seating was comfortable with booths lined against the wall area. The bartender was attentive considering he was only one person in which he was able to get to everyone's drink quickly. My only gripe was no toilet paper in the restrooms with drinking alcohol it's only natural that more trips to the restroom will happen! The DJ music was extremely loud and with the disco colored lights flashing lights you can trigger a migraine if your susceptible, so beware. But, overall great experience and still enjoyable!"
"Excellent service, views and dining experience. Came for a business dinner with a colleague and we thoroughly enjoyed our time after a hard few days of work. We were also guests at the hotel so reservations were easy and started with happy hour which had a small selection of drinks but were priced well for the ambiance. Our server MICHAEL was incredibly knowledgable and answered all of our questions, made wine recommendations and overall provided a lovely complement to the evening. The visit from Executive Sous Chef MANUEL who served our wagyu steak, torched table side was the icing on the steak (ha,ha). Highly recommend for a business dinner or special occasion."
"I have never experienced anything less than a 5 star experience at Delilah's! It doesn't matter if I'm there for a dinner reservation with a group, there to dance, on a date, drinks or stopping in late night after getting a bite somewhere else close by. The employees are always so welcoming and accommodating and always have treated us with the upmost kindness and respect! The drinks are amazing as well as the plates. The old Hollywood, dark mysterious vibe is the best experience! I love the vibe of the candle light dinner with no photos allowed. My favorite menu items are the salmon, french fries, the oysters and the yummy deserts! I feel valued as a customer and will continue to be a loyal one at that!"
"Always wanted to try Boardner's since it's such a Hollywood institution! I am not the bar hopping type, but I like to find cool bars for a drink with friends here and there.Boardner's been around since 1942, many stars stopped by here for a drink, old Hollywood era stars like Errol Flynn, Ed Wood, Robert Mitchum (we sat in a booth under his signed photo, how cool!), Charles Bukowski, etc. They even shot a few scenes here for "Ed Wood", Tim Burton's movie, inside at the bar and outside. So we were early birds here (it opens at 5 pm) for my husband's birthday, eager to try their HH. It goes from 5pm to 8 pm. For beers, you save if you get bottled beer, we got a couple of Dos Equis on tap. Food is $7, so we tried their Nachos with carnitas, nice, fresh, smaller side, but full of flavor and ingredients (avocado, cheese, jalapenos, beans, sour cream, nice salsa), BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders (you get 2 and fries, which is a pretty good deal)- decent, the sauce was a tad sweet for me, but birthday boy liked it. We enjoyed a lot their street tacos, got the asada, nicely cooked steak, fresh ingredients. Great HH hour! Very nice service, the bartender couldn't be more welcoming and helpful, great staff in general.Water from the house (they have jugs with water and lemon on the side), clean restroom, they also have a nice outdoor area where they had some musicians playing.I loved their atmosphere, darkly lit, nice booths, old school Hollywood decor. They were playing decent music, 80's tunes. Don't love the TV-s here, it takes away from the mysterious vibe. The regulars are cool. They happened to have somebody who gathered a lot of people for their birthday and it was getting a tad too crowded, had to push and shove to get some attention that I needed to get out of my booth and use the restroom. So inconsiderate folks who ignored other patrons. That was the worst part, but it's just a thing of timing. I would come here again, enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the legends smiling from the wall. We need to preserve places like this around!"
"The Lobby Lounge is on the 70th Floor of the Intercontinental in DTLA where you can also find the lobby. The drinks are pricier than other bars, but you are paying for the fantastic view of the city. It's so strange being so high up and looking down at all the places you walked or drove by and how tiny they are. There is plenty of seating, so enjoy a drink by the window. I usually go during the daytime, but I went this evening and it was beautiful. I would love to stay at the hotel for a staycation."
"Came here for a birthday dinner. Night went smoothly for a large party. Mini burgers were so delicious, nice ambiance and live music. Staff could be more helpful and prices are high but we enjoyed everything we tried!"
"There's no way the Rooftop would be less than five stars and five star service! My boyfriend and I went twice in 2024 and both experiences were like night and day because, we went once during a summer's day and once during a winter's night. Reservations are easily available through Opentable and parking is exclusively valet. Take the elevator to the top and go nuts looking at that view! Walk by that pool and Cabana...and get seated with a lovely view. For our daytime meal, he got a keto style salmon salad and I enjoyed my exquisite Benedict. Coffee and drinks were amazing, as was the service. For our nighttime double date, we noshed on some Guacamole with plantains before our meals. He had the Chicken Katsu as I got the Chicken Shwarma - served in pita breads presented like tacos! They were a bit dry, but I still enjoyed them. Last were sorbets which are amazing and don't disappoint! Try to make room for these before you go. And I know, I'll be back again!"
"Checked and saw a sign for free booze! During happy hour you can get free beer or wine! I'm not into beer or wine too much, but it was free!"
"The Dresden is a Hollywood landmark located in Los Feliz and it has been operating for over 70 years, yes you read that right, it all started back in 1954! Recently I had the pleasure of experiencing a great night there for dinner and drinks and then more drinks in the lounge/bar area with some awesome live music. After entering the establishment and facing the small lobby/lounge area, you'll see separate sides to the place. On your right will be the dining area/restaurant side featuring red stained walls, white clothed tables and white leather booths, tall wooden pillars, and awesome light fixtures. On the left is the main lounge/bar area featuring a bar countertop and a bunch of tables where you can also grab a bite; the bar area features live music on Wednesday-Sunday evenings with mostly jazz music. The whole place has a great feel with dim lighting and a perfect classic retro type of feel. Currently the restaurant features a menu offering a mix of American, Italian and French type fare. There are different items/menus for the restaurant side and lounge/bar side. For the restaurant side starters include calamari fritti and escargot bourguinonne, they have soups and salads such as a French onion soup and caprese salad, and main items include items such as prime rib, chateaubriand, chicken piccatta, cacio e pepe and various pasta dishes. The lounge/bar side features soups and salads, various sharables such as mozzarella marinara and baked mac n' cheese, and finally various sandwiches including a angus burger - yes a burger is a sandwich. On the recent visit I had the following:Calamari Fritti - Crispy golden rings and tentacles served with house-made cocktail sauce. A little chewy for my liking but good. Escargot Bourguinonne - Oven baked and served over white wine garlic sauce with bread. Haven't had escargot in awhile and it was really good, loved the bread to dip in the juices. Chateaubriand - 20oz tenderloin, hand carved tableside served with mashed potatoes, parmesan-roasted half tomatoes, button mushrooms, and seasonal vegetables. This was a shared item since really it's too much and in fact it's presented as being for "the table". The meat was extraordinary and so tender that I was able to cut it with a fork. The mashed potatoes were fine and the vegetables were good as well. Vesper Martini - Gin, vodka, Lillet Blanc, lemon peel. Nicely made and delicious. Ordered several negroni's in the lounge/bar area and enjoyed!Service was great both in the restaurant and lounge/bar and on the particular night enjoyed some funk music. Prices are fair and comparable for the type of establishment and to the times. Parking includes metered street parking but also various valet around the back and in a alley. Can't wait for my next visit!"
"It's all about the "happy, happy, joy, joy" happy hour for this girl and now I can add this place to my official "SFV HH" list. Opens at 5:00pm and by 6:00pm there are very few seats available. The dark cozy bar section is very inviting and ready for a small intimate group or a larger gathering. Josh was our very attentive server. You can order food & cocktails in the bar area. Sorry, no kids allowed in this area but they are welcome in the restaurant just past the bar."

When I read that Mariah Carey Carrie was doing a holiday-themed show here, I knew had to jump on the chance. Have seen her perform before but this time she was headlining her own show! So glad I went and here's why...I knew this place was intimate because I've been here when it was Sheila E's (yes, THE Sheila E..!) "E-Spot Lounge" several years ago. Have been waiting for a good chance to make a return visit. The lounge is housed upstairs on the second floor of the building, above Vitello's restaurant. There's not really a sign, so just enter the restaurant and go up the stairs. When we did, we were enthusiastically welcomed by staff ( no stiff, uptight, pretentious vibes here!) and offered either couch or table seating...(we opted for a table). They had mentioned that they were still setting up a bit...we were shown to a table in a prime spot (really any table/couch is prime!)...and given their menu.Menu is extensive and has Italian influences. We chose bruschetta, "in vogue" Caesar salad and "the Sal" pizza. Seriously, everything looked good...from cioppino to pasta to seafood to burgers. We also opted for a special drink called "Taste of Luzon (yes, Manila Luzon...!) featuring SERV vodka. This drink was delicious, with pineapple flavor! The salad and pizza were also very tasty and presented well. Was a bit hungry so I didn't have the chance to take pics of the food. Finally, MCC made her entrance as the show started. She really got us into the holiday spirit. The sound was perfect and sightlines were unobstructed as she perused through the floor amongst the crowd. For the record, MCC performed mostly MC's holiday songs, along with some classic MC songs/hits sprinkled in for good measure! We were constantly checked on by the staff to see if we needed anything else...more drinks, dessert perhaps? Being fully stuffed and had just enjoyed a great show, we rolled outta there into the night...Everything went well here (the way it should) and I highly recommend making a visit here especially if there's a performer you like. Plenty of street parking (like everywhere else in LA, read the signs) or valet available. Overall, a unique and well-established place that earns its five stars from me!

I've tried the Well on two occasions. Once on a Saturday and another time on a Sunday night with a holiday on Monday.I ordered food both times. I preferred the tacos and stuffed potato skins over the burger and fries I ordered on my second time at the Well. The pretzel bun was too think and hard to manage. The steak fries were suppwr thick as well. Closer to potato wedges and cold in the middle. They were huge as if a potato was cut into 6 pieces. I ended up talking my meal home and trying to recook the potatoes and locate bread for my burger. I really wanted fries age couldn't recover them at home. Being that I hadn't eaten, I was super tipsy on my second visit and I don't recall if I enjoyed myself. I didn't stay long. However, on the first visit the music was great. There was a DJ who surprisingly set up while there on a Saturday. It's a dark small place. I plan on trying it again.. probably two more times Ave trying more menu options before making my full assessment.

We had a great time here! The place is Amazing and staff gave 5 star service ! From the door to the bartenders, Dj, everyone was just great. Michelle was very attentive all night. Kept asking if everyone was ok or if we needed anything. Drinks are good and prices are reasonable. The vibe was on point, A great mix of good music. I would highly recommend The Room for your next night out or event. Thank you for making our night very pleasant.

Went out to The Penthouse for dinner and drinks. The food was good. The service was good. The ambience was fantastic. Beautiful views from the penthouse of Santa Monica. If you have not gone, I highly suggest that you go when you go at night or you go like for lunch in the middle is not the same like it's either 8 o'clock or like 2 o'clock. I feel like you're the best cause you can see all the way to the ocean and it's very pretty views That's the selling point of the penthouse! I mean, the vibe is cool. You know there's music playing there's people that are just beautifully and it's a pretty crowd and you know it's a typical Los Angeles pretty people bar! So we had a table and his right smacked to happen in the middle so we had really good views so there's a lot of fun people watching... this is one of those places that is like a staple. You have to go there at least once a year and just remember how cool it is but I'm more into authenticity so this isn't a place where I would frequent on a regular basis simply because it's in a very touristy location you're gonna catch a lot of people just visiting and I'm a native. I grew here. Everybody else flew here (or drove) so I like being around people that are natives. It are nativ-ish. (Been here at least 10 years)...There's no agenda. but it's definitely a place that you wanna stop by. It's a great date night spot and it's a great spot to take your friends that are in from out of town!

Delilah is an amazing restaurant that delivers exceptional service from start to finish. From the moment we arrived at valet, the professionalism stood out. Security was courteous and polished, and every member of the staff impressed me--from the hostess to the waitress. The level of service was flawless all around. We came for drinks and shared a few appetizers, all of which were incredible. The chicken tenders were absolutely worth it, as was the Caesar salad. The truffle fries were delicious, and the pigs in a blanket, featuring wagyu beef dogs, were a standout.Delilah gets a 10/10 in my book! This spot is perfect for a date night or even a classy evening out with friends. The upscale atmosphere, impeccable vibes, and amazing live music made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return.Reservation made well.

I visited Boardner's for happy hour with my women's walking group. The 8 of us easily got seated at a central table. Food and drinks have to be ordered at the bar, which did get a short line at some point in the evening. The bartender was really nice and made drinks pretty fast.I got the nachos and an espresso martini, which were both fantastic. I know, stunning combo. lolThe vibe is a little dark and grungy, but in a cool LA way. I grew up in Silverlake, so I can only handle Hollywood in small doses, but this spot is a nice gem. I was also lucky enough to find street parking since the bar is right off of the main strip.

not sure about parking at the location, i walked there. the lounge is on the 70th flr of the Intercontinental Hotel and surprisingly reasonably priced considering it seems like a fancy place. The views from the bar are amazing. they have a good selection of beverages and appetizers. My party was greeted quickly by a server and was accommodating with seating. if your in downtown L.A., 7th & Figueroa, grab a drink here.

Review #3 of 2025Had a reservation for here for New Year's Eve, made on OpenTable. We were coming in from out of the area for the Rose Bowl and wanted to eat here based off of reviews. Two days before they cancel the reservation with no explanation of why and did it via OpenTable, not even a curtsey phone call. When called to find out why canceled, they wouldn't answer the phone and so I left a message. Never received a call back.

"I come here every year to celebrate my anniversary (except for one year during COVID), and to this day, it's still my favorite steakhouse. Everything--from the bread to the steaks to the sides--is consistently delicious. The service is always exceptional, and they truly know how to make your day special. This past anniversary, our waitress surprised us with a dessert platter--a really sweet gesture, even though it was a bit much for just two people. But moments like this are exactly why we keep coming back and recommending this place to all our friends. I can't imagine celebrating anywhere else and will probably be coming here for decades to come!"
"The Phoenix opened up on La Cienega's Restaurant Row back in 2012 and is considered to be a whiskey/bourbon bar although they do serve various cocktails, beers and wines. They have well over 50 types of whiskey/bourbons ranging from states, countries and prices ($300+ for a 1oz pour anyone?). I stopped in a couple weeks ago with a group of colleagues/friends and the personal and friendly service was top notch. The place has a nice modern touch and feel and decorated/styled well. During this holiday season I found some nice winter touches. Kay was in charge that night whom I met and took charge in putting together a seating area for our group. She was pleasant, personable and managed things well. Mateo in the bar was super cool and friendly as well and made great drinks. There's a nice looking open area patio in the back with a huge screen. It would be cool to do an event there. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and the food although the food menu leaves a bit to be desired but had some things such as various flavored wings, French fires, chips and salsa, a pretzel, some tacos and some other things. We ordered a couple orders or wings, fries and pretzel and all were enjoyed. Parking wise, try street parking if able but otherwise I would park in The Beverly Connection parking and pay the fee."
"I miss the old Intercrew when it was more of a restaurant than a music / social venue. The new concept is "experiential dining" and it definitely delivers that with a newly added live music stage and a more open concept. I just personally prefer the old dining experience much more as it was a great place for a quiet, luxe date night or a cute girls night out. We got seated right away and ordered cocktails. It took a little bit of time before our cocktails arrived. Food came out very quickly. We ordered:- Dirty martinis: one with gin and one with vodka. tasted how they were supposed to. - Caesar salad: i liked it, very well dressed, very anchovy- IC Bolognese: yummy, the best thing we ordered - Crab fat caramel fried chicken: i wish we didn't order this. I expected chicken wings but they were chicken tenders, on a bed of cilantro, topped with salmon roe. The salmon roe was random, didn't add to the dish, and I expected more from chicken for a nice restaurant like Intercrew. We should've gone with the Sichuan Spicy Chicken from the small plates section (i think this is the wings dish from before the restaurant renovation? if so, we lovedddd it!)- Seasonal vegetables: grilled broccolini. I thoroughly enjoyed this side! The bussers were attentive and cleared dirty plates right away. We did ask for a dessert menu, which never came so we just asked for our bill and closed out. Intercrew was my favorite night out restaurant in Ktown but the new concept really isn't for me & my party. The live band was amazing but I don't prefer loud live music while dining and trying to converse with my party. Unfortunately, I would only go back for a quick cocktail round before a night out and would not go back for the food."
"Hot Hot spot!! It's an adorable setting on the rooftop of E CENTRAL hotel and its dreamy LA view is popular. So this rooftop lounge gives you a half 360 of the Sunup & Sundown vibe. They have umbrellas for the hot days & heating lamps for the colder eves. The food is amazing & the hostesses are darling. We had a wonderful time and seating is sorta a chic la chic eclectic atmosphere... Fun people & Music Parties of 2 to 20 are welcomed. They'll cater to your every need!!Loved it"
"To start this is a beautifully designed hotel in the heart of DTLA. It is known to be featured in several films, including True Lies (1994) and if you are too young to know that movie then I will help you out and mention Queen herself Rihanna also filmed her Savage x Fenty Vol 3 here. Yes hunnnaaay you are walking the same floor where the Queen herself did the damn thing. I digress... Not sure if it was just a slow weekend, but we easily found meter parking outside the hotel on a Sunday just before 9pm. We entered a busy lobby, perhaps an event nearby. There was plenty of seating. We made our way to the RED elevator that would take us to the level we needed to go for the Lounge. It was relatively empty but perfect for our group of 6. We were quickly seated without reservation, ordered our cocktails along with a few appetizers. The space is dim, creating an intimate and cozy setting. We were in awe of the views. We would sip our drinks, look at the views, have a conversation, and look at the views again and to our surprise would face another part of the city. You couldn't feel the floor move.We only came for drinks but the views were so immaculate that we decided to get some appetizers. Between our group we order pork belly bao, pork steamed dumplings, chicken pot stickers all which were delicious and great shareables. It's a cool experience to have drinks with such beautiful views. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Go at night. That's when the city views are the best."
"My friend was staying at Hotel Figueroa, and we came here for drinks. This European inspired lounge is open & spacious. The ambience is cozy & inviting with plenty of plush couches to relax on. We sat at the bar where a genuinely nice bartender greeted us. Glancing over the cocktail menu I noticed a forgotten classic - Between the Sheets. I've only seen it served at Commander's Place in New Orleans. The drink originated in Paris in the 1920's and was made famous in the 1930's at Harry's New York Bar. Comprised of Cognac (D'Usse) Rum (Bacardi), Orange Liquor, & lemon juice - it's a derivative of the Sidecar. It was absolutely divine!"
"One of our favorite local bars. I love that the inside area never gets crowded because they only allow enough people in that fit in the available seats. The drinks are great. My favorite is the Nutty Chi Chi. It's strong, sweet but not too sweet, and a really unique drink. There is a taco stand out back which is great for soaking up some of those Mai Tais. The staff at the bar is friendly. I love the decor, the music, and the overall vibe. Make a reservation online for a nice table inside."
"Great neighborhood joint. Happy hour 7 days a week! This gastro pub is a great place to meet up with friends, hang at the bar or grab a bite to eat before catching a live performance at McCabe's Guitar Shop down the block. Our server/bartender Joe was great. Very friendly and made a very good margarita. We ordered: A Cobb salad 4/5 Burger & Fries 5/5Fish & Chips 5/5Mac n cheese 5/5 *Metered Street parking"
"Security was great and didn't make us wait in line as women because they understood it's freezing outside. Love the reggaeton Fridays! Keep it up we love the Latino friendly environment!"
"It was my first time at the Famous bar and they've just reopened. The decor is beautiful with real dried leaves and flowers over the bar leaving a nice smell, the couches and chairs are really sturdy and comfortable. The staff, security, bartenders and owners are top-notch with their excellent service.I came with a friend who doesn't drink alcohol and there's a decent selection of mocktails on the menu. The caprese-ish in particular was the best drink we've had in a long while, with a salty savory flavor that feels light to drink. Highly recommend!!They have a pop up food vendor set up outside (they announce on their IG on who will be coming when). Was lucky enough to have Amboy's burger which was so so delicious. Can't wait to see who else they'll bring out."
"Great local energy. Owner Jaime Turrey was the creative behind the legendary Ostrich Farm, formerly in the same space, and all the feels that OF carried with it exist here, but modified by the casual, crash into a deep corner sofa feels that Bar Calo (also a Jaime creation) brought with it. Plenty of mood, an inspired menu with meals and snacks, and a LOCAL feeling. This is a small business, not some corporate investment strategy like a lot of the other places popping up in the area. And I'm all about supporting.I've been by on a few nights lately and it's always a proper vibey scene. Not too busy but elevated and updated. Also they open at 10am and do breakfast and lunch...I'm going to go try soon."
"If you like to have a peaceful dinner. Thia is the place. Not too loud. Or probably I am just lucky.I visited 5pm. Right at the opening. They were full but I still hear my own voice on top of the music and people talking. The place is too dark for me. But that is their setting. Selection of food is okay. Not overwhelming because the choices are very few which works for meThey have small tables for 2 people. I didn't like the seating for party of 2 because they are too close to the table of the next party. I can literally smell the breath of the guy next to me and I lost my appetite right away. This can be fixed. No privacy and space.I will come back to try more from the menu. For now I haven't tasted anything special. I was looking forward to the lobster fried rice but was nothing special for $38. It is just rice with small pieces of lobster and the kimchi is not necessary. It ruined the taste in my opinion. I thought something spoiled was in it but I used my flash light and I saw napa cabbage. I guess social media pictures are really over the top. Parking is Valet only $20. Great service and experience."
"When I think of bars in Los Angeles. Seven Grand is always in that topic. Regardless what the occasion is , Seven Grand is always a go to. Looking to mingle, just have a drink, post work meltdown? Seven Grand. It's dark. Welcoming. And comfortable. Occasionally a live band will be playing. Sometimes it's shoulder to shoulder. Regardless what was going on Seven Grand was always there for me. Smoking area to the side. Pool tables. What else could you ask for? Oh did I mention the superior Whiskey list? The exceptional tenders that know how to make a drink? My favorite dranks here are:Old Fashioned. This is a staple here and yes this is how they are made. Always solid. Boilermaker. Whatever their well whiskey is, well its delicious. Hot Toddy. If you know you know. Im pretty sure this can cure any ailment. I recently tried a Big Mak. It was fresh and perfect for the warm weather outside. Note their cocktail menu rotates. Bar tenders are well knowledgable and can concoct just about anything within their arsenal. I'll be back Seven Grand. Thank you for your libations and overall comfort."
"This place is beautiful! Stunning, authentic Moroccan interior design mixed with a modern vibe ( modern regarding the menu, music and various DJs.) Beautiful belly dancers! I've been to Morocco and in terms of atmosphere, this is like a trip to Marrakech. A combination of old world and new world. Members is one of my favorite spots in LA!"
"This is a cute spot, but I don't visit it as much anymore because I prefer cheap drinks lol. However, when I'm feeling in the mood to look cute and drop $20 on a drink, I come here! Yes it's usually crowded and loud ... and you probably won't find a seat at the bar unless you get there before 8 or 7pm. Even when it's crowded though, I find that everyone is polite and friendly. Saying "excuse me" is a thing lol.... And someone will always spark a conversation with you. I go out to a lot of bars and this one always has some interesting fun folks. The drinks are supper yummy.. which is why I don't mind spending the money. The staff/ bartenders are obviously very busy most of the night but they are friendly and when they finally get to you .. they are very attentive. My new favorite bartender is Chip. Not only is he cute, but his drinks are always on point! The whole lab coat lol works for me! Music is usually okay. The later the night gets the more crowded it gets and you can't really hear the music as much. I love the disco ball and the lounge sofa areas. I describe the space as cozy but chic. It's a good fall/winter bar."
"Yum! My first time here and I'll definitely be back. Started off with the truffle Parmesan fries and a tuna sushi cone. For mains, we got the sea bass and salmon-- both were so delicious! The spicy passionfruit margarita and old fashion were good too. Service was great. They serve a glass of complimentary sparkling wine while you wait/just before you are escorted to your table. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and the lighting makes for a more cozy feel."
"The service was Stellar! Patrick was our server and was so attentive. This is a rooftop restaurant and being that it's December he offered us blankets to keep warm in addition to the heaters. Patrick was truly an AMAZING server.I had the mushroom vegetarian dish which was sooooo good. It came with rice and French fries all together making an excellent dish. My mother had the seared salmon- Moms said it was cooked to perfection! This place for date or hanging out with friends. The panoramic view of Los Angeles is absolutely breathtaking. Overall service, food and ambiance all stellar."
"Ambiance is good. If you're looking for a chill evening pace to have a drink or two I would recommend this place."
"In the morning, this place is open for brunch and to my surprise the food was pretty good. I've come here at night before, so it was interesting to see a transform during the daytime. I likely would not come out of my way to come here for brunch, but would definitely come if I was staying at the Thompson Hotel or nearby."
"No parking especially on days when there is a game at SoFi, so I didn't have an opportunity to try the food which I heard was good."
"Went to Rouge for my birthday with no knowledge of the restaurant and we DO NOT REGRET IT! The food was 6 out of 5 stars! Everything we ordered was so good we needed up ordering a second appetizer after our entree! Appetizers: We started with the Tiger Shrimp with Crab, I have no idea what they put in the sauce for this dish but it was hard not to lick the plate! After we had our entrees we ordered the Sea Bass Skewers, I love sea bass and originally we did not order this because "skewers" threw me off but I am so glad we did! It was large pieces of fish that were so perfectly cooked. Would get again!I had the honey glazed salmon and my husband had the chicken and potatoes dishes- both were superb! For desert we had the panacotta- my husband said it changed his mind about the dish it was so creamy and delicious! All in all, we will be returning!"
"The little bar is definitely befitting of its name. It is actually completely that; a little bar. Walking in, it is a little outdated and you can tell that it needed some touchups. When we walked in, there were not a lot of people but, the music was really good. There is no food served so if you want to go somewhere to just have a quick drink and relax, this is your place to be. Unfortunately, there was only one bartender and she was at times very preoccupied. Towards the end of our time there, we wanted to get the bartender to close out our tab. However, she was tending to some other patrons outside for about 20 minutes before she came back in. It probably would have been helpful if it was more than one bartender.I did not have a drink but I did hear from other people that the drinks were very good. The bartender even came up with something non-alcoholic for a friend that she definitely enjoyed. I would probably not come back because I do enjoy places that provide food however, it is a nice bar to just relax in and to have a drink or two."
"I stayed in the Hoxton for four nights and I was so impressed by the view and service here. The food was great and the drinks were incredible. I had a great experience both day and night and hopefully will be back soon."
