"Ahh such a good experience here! Celebrated a friend's birthday and the skewers were sooo good! The servers were attentive and there was a lot of space to enjoy a late night dinner. We got the Gui Dan Dan Noodles & Scallion Oil Noodles - both were really good! I liked the scallion one best! In terms of skewers, I really enjoyed the ones we ordered: Premium Beef, Pork Jowl, Fish Tofu, Pork Belly, and Shrimp!"

"The wraps are very good and for a reasonable cost, we ordered pickup and will be adding Dama to our mix of where to order from when we are too lazy to cook. The meat has a lot of flavor, and the wraps are very filling. The falafels are also pretty good. Don't skimp on the sauces, garlic is dank but delicious. They also give a pretty substantial amount of fries, so if your kids are fry monsters like mine, they will be happy."

"My wife was craving Chinese BBQ lamb skewers, so we randomly decided to try this hidden gem and we're so glad we did! The shopping plaza is always busy, so I recommend heading to the back for parking; otherwise, you might get stuck in the main lot. When we walked in, the server was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain how everything worked, including how to navigate the app to place our order. One pleasant surprise was that both of our kids automatically got free kids' meals! Another highlight: the large lamb skewers, normally $3.75, are only $1 before 6 PM. The only catch is that it's dine-in only, but with unlimited orders, it's a fantastic deal. The lamb skewers were delicious. super flavorful with just a hint of spice. The squid and squid feet were also great; we asked for them to be less spicy for the kids, and they turned out perfect. The okra was tasty, though a bit on the salty side, but that's what beer is for, right? Overall, this place is a great find with excellent food at an unbeatable price. We'll definitely be back!"

You know that dry stuff that you're served at almost every other place in LA? Not here.The owner prides himself in sourcing the best french bread and nawhal's sauces from Belgium. I had the Algerienne sauce which was a mild.If you want a real doner, come here. I know i'll always be coming back.Suggestion for the owner, sell soft drinks for easy profit. "So glad we came across this place during an unfortunate stay at the hospital nearby. Got the vibe as soon as I read a sign saying "'Good food takes time. Call someone you love while you wait theywill appreciate it." That hit the spot during a time like this. Food was great and yes, we didn't make calls but used the time to chat and have meaningful conversation. The man at the cashier was very nice and welcomed us like family. Skirt steak sandwich was great. Bread was perfect. It wasn't overloaded with unnecessary ingredients. Cesar salad was huge! We shared and still had leftover. Fries are a higher gem with perfect crust and balanced flavor. Skirt steak plate I didn't try but my son scarfed it down in 2 minutes and gave me a thumbs up!"

"Upon coming here, a current customer told us this is the best Turkish food in town. She was not joking! I ordered a doner bowl and my friend ordered the kebab skewers entree. We absolutely loved it: the buttery flavored rice, well seasoned meat, nice salad on side that comes with and a pita bread to top it off. Although we were so full, had to try the baklava: fresh and crispy, hands down the best I've ever had due to not being so sweet. Finally someone answered my prayers about not making them too sweet. This is a sweet family restaurant and the daughter is super helpful and friendly especially with interpreting my compliments to the chef for a delicious meal. Highly recommend this place!"

"So delicious! Located next to Mashti Malone's ice cream shop, I noticed they recently opened after I made an ice cream stop. Finally just got their koobideh kabob combo and it was terrific. When it comes to kabob, it's all about the quality of meat, seasoning, freshness and, obviously, taste. The kabob here passes all those qualifiers, and given the affordable prices for the combo, which comes with rice and side dish, I absolutely give this spot my stamp of approval!"

They do a happy hour day 12-5 PM for 10% off on certain days of the week (: Service is quick, the workers speak mandarin, & they usually have NBA or some sports playing in the background. Great place to take friends! I highly recommend the toasted buns with condensed milk for dessert. My favorite thing about this place is the seasonings you dip the meat in Parking: I recommend doing street and walking, there is no lot."

"Ayo!!! Reviewing another Kebab place for ya. Ara's is fairly new and is located on Sunset in East Hollywood. They have an assortment of Fresh Kebabs that they cook to order as well as Shawarma. I ordered the Beef Lulu Kebab plate that came with flat bread, Rice Pilaf, Hummus and side salad. I give this place 4/5, everything was seasoned well. Street Parking is available, plenty of seating and staff was super friendly. Support the small businesses. I think they are also offering the Dubai Chocolate Bar now."

My friend got the lamb biryani (I don't know how to spell any of these) and I got the chicken tikka masala. Friend is an experienced Indian foodie and she asked for not quite medium spicy / hot. We shared both and wow, honestly some of the most delicious food ever, and I am not one of those people who says that. I told my husband that I wanted to order it for pickup for us for Christmas Eve, but sadly they were closed. As soon as we can (we don't eat out much) we will be ordering for pickup. Honestly very delicious."

We sat in a comfortable booth. **Baba ganoush (eggplant dip) - excellent appetizer, beautifully plated, drizzled with tahini sauce, so delicious and lightly smoked. I love it also by the spoonful without pita bread **Stewed Lamb shank bademjan - a little pricey for $31 but so worth it. The lamb falls off the bone, rich stew, more eggplant, yes! Not a fan of the crunchy rice, but the basmati rice is so light and fluffy. It was as amazing as many years ago before Javan closed their business and thankfully reopened last year. Had extra to bring home as well. **Chicken chunk skewer - one skewer of chicken breast, moist, and well seasonedI've had their beef koobideh and grilled vegetables, all great. Sumac sprinkled over the rice adds some tartness.Very clean bathroom and on some nights you'll hear a live piano. By the entrance is a case with tempting lemon bars and baklavah.It's a more upscale environment, though some customers dress casually. Of all the Persian restaurants in West LA, Javan is my top choice."
