"I wanted to support black business but the chili cheese fries were very expensive. They were salty and nothing extravagant stood out for them to be $23."
"This place is by FAAAR the best Al pastor tacos I have ever had. I feel like after having these I cannot give any other taco truck my money. Needless to say they are famous for their al pastor and the other meats are good, but not great. The asada fries were also really good (better than other places) so would recommend those too.Lengua (beef tongue) taco was not my favorite I have had better. The Horchata was also really yummy and I would recommend. This place is so good I had it twice last week and I want it again lol a must try! Vibes are regular the wait can be long and you have to eat in your car, but trust me it's worth it."

"We came across flavorz on Instagram and hunted them down in echo park. Food is bomb! I got a chicken and shrimp quesadilla & my bf got the sisig plate with an egg. We also tried some yummy dessert - bananas, pudding and Nutella. We'll definitely be coming back."
"FIRE TACOS!!!! Wow I'm blown away at the deliciousness of these street tacos - fried shell filled with juicy shrimp, potatoes and more. Local food truck with fast service and casual vibes - perfect for a quick bite. I went on a Friday which is supposed to be closed according to Yelp but I was happy to see it open! :)"
"Seriously... THE BEEEEST CUBAN COFFEE/BREAKFAST/LUNCH TRUCK OUT THERE! I'm OBSESSED! I've tried serval plates on the menu and I can't say it enough how delicious everything I ordered was! I got the refried beans with cheese and Cuban bread. OOOOOMMMMHGGGG! That's not even my thing but daaaamn was that the most flavorful sandwich I've tasted EVER! I devoured that damn plate! Had the kubanita Koffee! Better then Starbucks and Coffee bean put together! You feel the love in the food and drink! I wish every establishment would do the same. You seriously taste the difference! I've tried the platanes...delicious!I've tried the crepes... bomb! The carne asada sandwich... it leaves you wanting mooooore!!!You can't go wrong with anything on that truck! Everything is made with so much love! Uuuughhhh, and they have the cuttest truck too! Not to mention they have good for your dogs! Whaaat?!! AMAZING! Great service, great food, good vibes! What more can I ask for! Just in love with La Kubanita!"
"Some of the best fish tacos I've had in LA. Lovely staff, unique menu options. There is serve-yourself salsa station with an impressive array of house made choices. Do yourself a favor and get a crunchy fried fish taco and eat it right when it comes out!!There is limited seating out front, but you can usually snag a table in the shared space between the truck and Pine+Crane."
"My friend highly recommended this place for their birrieria tacos so we finally came here to grab lunch. We parked at the Target parking lot close to the truck and we came at a good time since there was no line. I got 3 Carne asada quesatacos and 1 birria res quesatacos, my friend said to also ask for the consome Carne as well which is the soup. The food didn't take long to come out and they will announce your number in Spanish. They have a PA system as well for people who won't hear their number. I was asked if I wanted red or green sauce in Spanish as well but when she didn't get a response from me so she asked again in English. I got the red sauce to eat with my taco. I thought the Carne quesatacos were okay but I didn't like the birria res. The red sauce was alright to me as well and has a kick to it. I plan on taking my wife here later just for her to try it."
"Taco truck across the street from the Estrada Courts. Came for the shrimp tacos but was blown away with the Poseidon tostada. So much fresh seafood and fantastic spice. Fast service and while it's a truck, they have an inside place to sit and eat."
"I got takeout from the Leo's Tacos Truck on La Brea last night. I ordered one taco al pastor, one carne asada taco, and an agua de fresa. I enjoyed the food and drink. I loved that the taco al pastor came with a slice of pineapple. The drink was sweet and delicious. Everything appeared to be fresh and well-prepared. Payment was cash only. Service was good."
"Happened upon the location as we were on Melrose.Came in in their opening day! Really good sandwiches and the Combo is a great deal!!"

Probably the best tacos I've ever had! Just a simple food truck with great food at great prices. The people running the truck were awesome and helped me choose what to eat. With a smile! There is a nice little area right by the gas station where you can sit down and eat your tacos. We sat down and enjoyed the LA Street in front of us. We enjoyed birria tacos, beef, and shrimp tacos, and some quesadilla. All the accessories for the tacos came in tiny plastic bags, so we enjoyed some chopped onions and tomatoes, and some cilantro with all the sauces as we liked. They also serve Horchata and mango juice. The mango juice was out of this world! This is an amazing food truck, which really should be a highlight of LA .

I went here a while back and just forgot to make a review. The food was just super tasty and fresh. The service was also very courteous and responsive. The ambiance was also very cool for a food truck.I definitely enjoyed eating here, 5 stars.

It hits the spot every time! My go to is the shrimp cocktail and a fried taco. The seafood taste good and never had a quality issue. The Poseidon tostada is delicious but its pretty spicy!! If you cam handle heat try their red aguachile.

OMG THE BEST STAFF EVER! And the food, BOMB I got the Kafe and the pan con frijoles. I literally felt so comforted. The kafe was sweet and creamy and the pan has a crispiness to it. I was having such an awful day and the ppl in the truck lifted up my spirits. They even hooked me up with another order (crying) they gained a customer for life.

I've had Simon's tasty tacos and agua chile when they were in Silverlake. News is they're now in Highland Park so I went on a Tuesday night, 30 minutes before closing. The truck was there but gate was locked and truck was evidently closed. I passed by again on a Thursday and once again, same story. I'm giving 3 stars for the food that I sooo dream of and minus 2 stars for the lack of attentiveness and consideration for their patrons who make the drive to support them, only for them not to be there. They have a social media presence but yet, no news as to what their current hours are. Do better.

The tacos were very tasty! They were fresh, crunchy and delicious! They have the soft taco option as well. The birria consomé broth, which acts as a kind of sauce, was mildly spicy and amped up the taco experience into fine cuisine. They give you this warm consomé in a cup for you to use on your food as you wish, even to simply dip your tacos into. They also included a little baggie of something I've never had before, incredibly sweet pieces of cooked onion that were so good! This is all served from a food truck that is quite large, colorful, and inviting. It was easy to find in North Hollywood, in front of the Target store on Victory Boulevard, very near the major cross street of Vineland Avenue, with its blazing shades of bright orange colors. They even have a little table set up under a small pavilion with chairs if you wish to eat your food right there. They have an array of yummy meals for you including taco, mulita, quesadilla, torta, and burrito choices. You can, of course, pick your desired kind of meat, be it beef, chicken, or even goat, and add sides of guacamole, etc. You can get beans and rice as well if you wish. The service is friendly and quick. The people are so very nice and radiate warmth and kindness. I immediately felt a sense of trust towards them. I especially loved what they had written on the side of their truck: #Thank you God, #Thank you Customers, #Thank you Team. It was apparent that they live by these words of lovingkindness in their manner and in the food they serve.

Believe the hype! I work in Boyle Heights and Mariscos Jalisco is my go-to treat for myself after work. It's one of the most celebrated food trucks in Los Angeles and deserves all of its accolades. The tacos de camarones are my go-to order every time. They're crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with an unmatched flavor that only gets better with the included salsa and generous avocado halves. Every time I go, I branch out and try something new on the menu, too, whether it's the tostada de Poseidon, aguachile, or ceviche. I've tried nearly the whole menu now and everything is fantastic and has its own unique flavor. I want to add that MJ was one of the first food trucks that went out of its way to feed the firefighters of Los Angeles during our devastating 2025 Palisades/Altadena wildfires. This is the kind of business that makes me proud to call myself an Angelino. My highest admiration to the entire MJ team!

"I'm a big fan of Ave 26 tacos! I normally go to the Little Tokyo location, but this one is closer to home. They were kind enough to give us a sample of the ribs since we've never had it before and it was really good!We paid $25 for 11 tacos! So much meat and plenty of self serve toppings and sauces as well. You can also buy drinks too. They take cash or Zelle at this location. You can park the plaza with the grocery store and the taco area is on the sidewalk. There's a big red truck so you can't miss it!"
"This food truck is amazing. Where has it been? Come to Venice and Centinela and I'll buy from this truck more often. Tried their sirloin kabobs and chicken shawarma. Came with rice pita, ordered the extra hummus, tabouleh salad, yogurt salad, eggplant spread. And the garlic sauce was plentiful and a perfect way to end the weekend. 5 stars"
"An LA staple. From the before time when they were actually in Avenue 26 to now resting between Arts District and Little Tokyo, all remains the same except for the prices ($2.25/taxo, used to be $1 back then). With various meat options, it's hard to go wrong. Just make sure you ask for a potato (free) and also grab yourself the grilled onions and peppers. Their green guacamole salsa is the best, don't get anything else. Their horchata has definitely grown smaller and more expensive over the years at $5 but still is a necessity. When I find myself in the area after a night out, Ave 26 is a must."
"Ufff food right on point. Just like them restaurants I've been to many of this spot I have to say this is one of them."
"The absolute best place to have tacos y birria. Note that they are closed on taco Tuesdays. *insert cry face* Crunchy, flavorful and the broth.. aka consome is fantastic. Drink it up, dip in it, whatever you want. They have a few outdoor seats which is great! I'd recommend eating there if possible so you can enjoy them hot."
"Insanely good Thai food!!! I've been all over Southeast Asia, and this is so legit. Get the duck, it's some of the best I've ever had. the chef really knows what they're doing. Amazed at what came out of this space."
"I'd passed this food truck a few times while walking around the neighborhood--it's right by the Ralph's on Sunset--and then when Eater gave them a mention, I thought, "Why not try something new?" (I also saw the good, though few, Yelp reviews.) And so I marched on over, intent on having my first experience with Uzbek food. There's a bit of a language barrier--not sure if the owners speak much English--but there are pictures of the menu items on the truck, and admittedly there are many commonalities with cuisines in adjacent regions (dumplings, kebabs, etc.). Still, it took the help of a nice young man who happened to be there picking up food to guide me through my first time. I opted for the pilaf, which was rice (of course) with beef, carrots and other goodies. It was absolutely (and addictively) delicious, and it came with a side salad of tomatoes and onions (also yummy). Portions and prices are fair, and now that I feel better situated with ordering, even with the language barrier, I'll definitely be back."
"it's so good i had to pull up two nights in a row ! was my bday weekend and was in hollywood craving hibachi . initially , my search brought up another food truck but this one caught my eye just from the line of ppl waiting . i ordered steak and shrimp with chicken fried rice and got garlic butter and some type of hot mayo on the side and lemons . it also came with veggies and it was so FLAVORFUL !!! bussing and a must try , just make sure you got your $$ ready !!"
"There are many street food vendors in LA, but Carnitas El Momo is in a league of it's own. They serve only pork - carnitas, buche (stomach), and cuero (pork skin). It's the easy they cook it though, that's outstanding. The carnitas is soft and moist, the buche savory and juicy, and the cuero gelatinously chewy and sticky. They're also extremely generous with the portion size. On top of that, they're also friendly and courteous. You can order meat by the # for $20/lb. It's a great deal. Will surely be back many times for more. Nom nom nom nom nom! Can't write more, gotta eat!"
"Pay attention to where the Fire Department eats. Navat is a food truck with delicious fresh tasting food at a reasonable price. We eat here often and everybody on the engine loves it. Don't pass this food truck up, give it a try. Believe me when I say firefighters are picky."
"We go here every time we're in the area. Hands down the best tacos. Worth the wait in the long lines. They're fast and efficient here, so you won't be disappointed. Tried the carne asada, al pastor, chicken, and cabeza meat. All were excellent. Of course get everything on your tacos. The mulitas are way bigger than expected and really good. The place is pretty standard for an outdoor taco stand, but bigger. The parking can be a pain, but there's someone that helps out. There's also a crepe food truck that shares the parking lot. Really good sweet crepes, which are excellent after tacos."
"Great new place on sunset. Used to be a ramen spot. Plenty of options to choose from. Clean inside and lots of tables plus bar seating. I had the #7 doner kebab wrap. Meat was plentiful. It was medium sized and filling. It comes with French fries inside but I prefer it without, so had it left off. They also offer free hot tea. Customer service is good. Not your chatty, cheery over-the-top service but pleasant, quick, and accurate. Two minor improvement suggestions: heavy on the sauce (and I love heavy sauce). Maybe a bit less would be good. And crew meals were let on a table, kind of messy and taking up a table for customers. Nothing major.I'll certainly be back to try other things."
"This taco stand is not a cute ambience not an indoor space, but if you are a foodie looking for a great authentic Mexican tacos it's here .Fresh tortillas made on the spot and good quality meat . Service is fast and efficient. One of my spots!!"
"We were walking by and had to stop because of the amazing smells. I like how they have a buffet of sauces and toppings. We ordered three tacos and a gringos for $17. The carne asada was chewy (reason for star deduction and cash only) my fav meat was the carnitas. Service was fast. They have tables to dine at. Cash only. There were locals eating here."
