"Michelin Star and for good reason. The ambiance, service, and food were outstanding. We had reservations on a weekday and were sat right away. We were sectioned in the back and it was much more intimate , quiet, and ideal. The front house is pretty loud in comparison. No hard alcohol, but wine and beer are available. We ordered everything. From the carrots, wild mushroom, and bread as an appetizer, along with the gem lettuce salad, to ordering 3 pastas and a dessert. Everything was shareable. The roasted carrots were out of this world. One of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The wild mushrooms followed. We ordered the rigatoni timballo (eggplant pasta/lasagna), tonnarelli cacio e pepe with a 63 Celsius egg (what a flex of perfection) along with the torchetti. Pastas are made in house, but hands down the torchetti was the winner. We had beer and wine and we followed our meals with their olive oil cake. Amazing. Memorable. Highly recommend Union for dates, birthdays, boujee dinners, and anniversaries. Everything was decadent, delicious, heavenly. Thank you Union for a lovely evening."
"This place needs another review. I love coming here. Delicious freshly baked sweets, mouthwatering sandwiches and salads, breakfast burritos and more. You will definitely find something you love here. Great quality Great customer service. Lovely houseware and cookbooks and pantry items. Great ambiance, a great place to shop for gifts as well"

"I've bookmarked this spot for some time as it blends two of my favorite cuisines - Japanese and French so I was pretty excited.Parking is a little difficult in the area but valet is available right at the entrance. On a weeknight, the dinner time was lively and the dim lit ambience created a cozy setting where you almost don't notice how close the tables are to each other. The staff was very friendly with good recommendations, and they have purse hangers which is a major plus. The plateware is also so beautiful. Another thing that made them in that upper scale establishment is they pack your leftovers but also leaves them by the hostess and you get a ticket to get them back on your way out so it doesn't have to sit at your table. I started with a Camelia Highball which was a solid cocktail, fizzy and light in flavor. There were some hits and misses in the dishes which for the price point, was a little bit of a disappointment. Would order again:+ Sweet potato gratin - a decadent, sweet & savory dish that might have been my most favorite blend of both cuisines that we tried. It was sweet but the cheese gave those savory notes and left a nice crust on top. I really enjoyed this.+ Tuna tartare - quality tuna, refreshing flavor, the chips are thin and crisp+ Spaghetti bolognese - a very traditional dish that they did well and I liked the smash cherry tomatoes and the thinly shredded bundle of parmesan cheese on top. I'm not sure what makes it with a Japanese - maybe the meat sauce is a little sweeter?Would personally skip next time: + Parker house rolls - The black sesame did not shine through at all besides the rolls being black. The rolls were standard and I don't think the addition of ikura (total $27) was worth it for this. The butter was not salted enough IMO. + Chocolate souffle tart - the name implies to me that it would be lava-like chocolate but was not the case. It's a thin slice, but the coconut ice cream was excellent - smooth and creamy.+ Branzino - was a tender piece of fish but I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce because it was a little too runny. I did like the greens accompanied with them but it was a little too soggy for me so there wasn't any difference of textures here. Leaving 50/50 makes me wanting to give them another try with other dishes in hoping they're all hits next time."
"My friends and I had a lovely time here after watching a ballet at the theatre next door. Everything we had was great, including the bubbly and rosé. There was live music as well--a pianist and an opera singer who sang with such gusto and passion, it was like a double dose of theatre that night. I had the halibut, I was expecting a larger portion for the price, but it was delicious--the lemony couscous complimented the grilled fish perfectly. The ashta was the best I've ever had, I love the way it was prepared with the little rose water pouring spout. We'll definitely be back again when in the area!"
"What a find! Just delicious and excellent quality Thai food right in the neighborhood. They are not afraid of a little spice so be careful :-)I think it's all take-out so not much to say about service/ambiance. Basically just about the great food. Let's support this local business!"
"My friend took me to Dulan's for a late lunch a few weeks ago. There was a private event in the patio, so the staff were very occupied. As a result, the wait was longer than anticipated, but I just knew my food would be worth the wait.I chose the meatloaf with collard greens and macaroni & cheese as sides, plus sweet tea. Staff gave us fresh cornbread muffins, which were diviiiine. And my meal was SO delicious. I cleaned that plate!Staff were so nice and kind, and apologetic for the delay in service. The restaurant was full, so I knew I was going to eat good, and I was NOT disappointed. I can't wait to try their fried fish next."
"Came here for dinner with a friend for dinner on a weekday around 7pm, and it's an authentic spot for Indian food. There is free parking available in the back as well as metered parking in the front. Credit cards accepted. It seems that they do a lunch buffet, although the buffet is not available as a dinner option. We had garlic naan, chicken tandoori, Kadai curry, and veg Manchurian, and it was plenty of food - we had leftovers. The waiter did verify with us if we could handle spicy food since the curry and Manchurian were spicy, and they indeed were, although they were still manageable. The garlic naan came with two pieces cut in half and was very warm. The chicken tandoor came out sizzling on a hot grill and had a rich red color - that was my favorite dish."
"I'm back again lol. Dude working the counter was super cool and food was delicious as usual. I'll be back lol"
"Stopped by for dim sum on a Saturday around lunch. Surprisingly got seated pretty quickly, which was nice. They still use the traditional push carts, but the selection was lacking--felt like the carts weren't as stocked as they should be. A lot of people were walking up to the carts, trying to grab what they wanted. As for the dim sum, it's solid but pretty average--nothing really stood out to me, especially for the price. Service was okay. For a place called Five Star, I'd honestly rate it closer to 3.5. I'd come back, but it's not at the top of my list."
"Wifey wanted to try the noodle place next door and I spotted dim sum. Because of the price point it got me curious and since the noodle place was ok for me to bring dim sum over, here I am. It's located inside the Ralph plaza so there's an underground parking garage and also parking outside the restaurants. The place itself is not that big. There's 8 tables but some are for 6 while others for 2.I came around Monday 3:30pm and there's 3 tables filled. I was happy to hear the waiter and chef speaking Mandarin so right off i know it's authentic. I really like the spacious and clean kitchen. I ordered egg tarts, egg custard, scallops pork shrimp sui mai and chicken feet. Didn't want to order too much as I'm eating next door as well lol but def want to get a feel for the food here to see if there's a need to return if I'm ever in the area (it is close by my church). It took a long minute for me to get my food which was something im not use to as dim sum is suppose to be fast and quick and my noodles next door got cold by the time it was ready. So I tried the egg tarts first because that's usually a giveaway for me to see if they're actually legit and happy to say the egg tarts was legit. The sui mai was good with a whole piece of scallop on the bottom. Honestly they were all good and I'm actually down to come back to give other items on the menu a try.Service was very friendly. Next time I'm craving for dim sum in Hollywood, I'll be back here again. There were some seasonal items that looked interesting and also the desserts :)"
"Omg!! If you haven't tried this place you need to go... now! Healthy and fresh Mediterranean ingredients make up a tasty bowl. The service is amazing! Plenty of places to eat there, inside or outside. Enjoy!!"
"Read about this online, and thought it might be fun to try something new. My husband is a bit of a pizza fanatic, so was glad he was game too. It's pretty minimalist inside, a few tables (3 booths + a few tables) & a walk up counter. They have a case with pizza you can order by the slice, which they pull and heat up while you wait. While it's pretty much a self service restaurant, they do bring your food to your table if you dine in, which is a nice touch. Wish they had pepper flakes & dried oregano on the tables, but it is what it is. They offer fountain sodas, Mexican coke and bottled water to drink - no alcohol. We ordered a couple of slices, garlic knots, and a pizza to go. Where they really lost me, and a few stars, was on their customer service - or really lack thereof! We placed our order, and we were not given an itemized receipt and had to ask multiple times for one....maybe it's because of the 4% credit card processing fee they charge you, which they don't tell you about AND is not posted anywhere. I get it, businesses need to cover their expenses, but we dropped almost $60 for food AND added a tip, it would be nice to be told! The pizza was decent, not my favorite and not my husbands either. The garlic knots were to die for, but serving these with cold marinara was also a miss for me! Glad we tried it, but not sure we will be back!"

Great little Italian restaurant right by CalTech. Street parking or paid garage parking right across the street. The restaurant is very intimate and is perfect for a date night. They have rail seating at the bar with maybe 5-6 stools. Menu is great. Everything (including sauces and pastas) are made in house. Great wine and wine cocktails. Server was attentive as he could be. He forgot to put in 2 of our items but it was ok because we ordered plenty of food for the 4 of us. Definitely would love to come back.

Honestly, one of my favorite spots in Burbank. The baked goods are amazing, and the seasonal sandwiches are great--everything is very reasonably priced. The baked goods sell out fast on weekends, so getting there early is a good idea. The selection rotates often, but the mile-high biscuits are a must. Beyond the food, they have a great assortment of cute gifts, cards, cookbooks, and more, making it a fun place to browse. The store itself is super charming, but I do wish they had some outdoor seating.

A newish (as of mid 2024) spot that blends Japanese and French flavors. Is it a bistro? Is it an Izakaya spot? Maybe a combination of both or it's the same thing in different languages or cultures. I'm the wrong person to ask, ha ha. What I do now is that this place has a fun menu with lots of different things that look so great but you almost wanna try them all. That's why it's probably ideal to come here with small group so you could order a bunch of small plates to try a little bit of everything. The service was great and the vibe was relaxed at least when we went. Note that we got here on the later side right before closing time so we were able to get seated right away. We were coming from a wine event so we also didn't drink. I would definitely love to come back and try some of their cocktails. The summary of our wonderful meal is that I feel like we ordered really well. We got a good mix of proteins and vegetables and all the items we ordered were beautifully presented with wonderful contrasting and complimentary flavors. Really sad that I didn't order one or more of the cocktails, but coming from an all out tasting wine event, it was wise for me to cut myself off. What we got: (better description in the pics)- Chicken in seaweed sauce- Beef cheeks- a squash and citrus dish- sprouting cauliflower - Kombu rice- grilled oyster mushroomsThere were a bunch of things I would like to try in the future, but here is a quick list of items I really want to try. What I would love to order on the next trip:- croque madame- sweet potato gratin- abalone pot pie- house rolls- the burgerI just think that there's so much to order that this place could be frequented with having a new experience each time.Parking could be tough, but again, we came to the area around closing time so we were able to find parking close by.

Living in Glendale, you don't always want to make the drive to "the cool part of town" Hollywood, West Hollywood etc. I'm so happy that Atrium exists. We recently moved here and this place is now our weekly family dinner spot. I have basically tried everything on the menu and I am genuinely SHOCKED at how delicious everything is. You can tell the family that runs it cares about the quality of ingredients. I can't get enough of their food. If you haven't tried it yet, you absolutely MUST.

Intrigued about idea of a to-go-only spot with such great reviews in this area (lots of great places/options for dinner). I got the red curry w/pineapple +veg+chicken. Really tasty and (even with the take-home) everything was perfect (tender chicken, broccoli was done but not mushy). One curry is plenty for 2 people. No question that I will be picking up again when I'm in town!!! Check out the "ambiance". It's seriously ALL about the food which is very cool.

The best Biryani in all of LA. If you like spicy south Indian food then this is it. The restaurant isn't too fancy but the taste of the dishes more than make up for it.

The food tasted good I just need to vent my frustration with everything else. I ordered takeout for delivery - I paid for extra festival which is labeled (5) meaning 5 pieces or so I thought. I received 3 pieces. - I spent 10.50 on a large fruit punch thinking it would be enough for 2 people. It was a medium sized cup. $10.50... I know inflation and blah blah blah but y'all a dead wrong for that. - I ordered the large oxtail and I don't see the difference between that and the small. I decided to splurge and treat myself after a long week and I've been bamboozled and led astray. $45 was my subtotal not including tax, fees and tip. $45 for oxtail, drink and 3 festival. You think you get nice up plate for $45. Think again.

"After driving by countless times, we finally made time to try this place on a Sunday afternoon right before they closed for dinner. We added our name to the waitlist, including our phone number, around 2:05 pm and were sitting by 2:20 pm. We could fit in an errand across the street, which was perfect. They called us when a table opened up. They have an open kitchen with a dining counter space where we sat. It was spacious, and we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. We ordered Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe, Tonnarelli al Tartufo, Spiedino di Funghi, and bread. The bread was good and had a nice chew to it. The grilled mushrooms were tasty. They were prepared perfectly, and the char gave them a meaty flavor. The appetizers were a great start. The cacio e pepe was delicious! I put black pepper in everything, and there was a generous amount. The salinity did not overpower the dish, and the butter sauce wasn't too rich, which I appreciated. I had a bite of the tonnarelli, and the tomato sauce was flavorful. Our total for all four items was $97.45 without tip. Service was efficient and welcoming. No complaints. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will be bringing our friends!"
"I Recently been back to M'Dear's & I Must say their service has Improved & their Food is ALWAYS Flavored Well & Cooked with (what seems to be) Love.If You are looking for Good, Flavorful, Food... Come here. Don't let the line (if there is one) detour you... It's Moves Fast & It will Definitely be worth the wait."
"Dinner before seeing Hamilton at the Pantages. Nice welcome, seated right away no wait. Our server was Micah. He was very attentive and met all our requests with a smile. I ordered the Burrata & Beet Salad and the Chicken BLTA. The salad was absolutely fantastic. It was such a large portion. I was so full I didn't eat hardly any of my sandwich. The beet were roasted perfectly and the quinoa and arugula were lightly nutty along with the creamy burrata cheese! It truly was one of the best I have ever had and I always order this salad if it's on the menu. The vibe was really channeling South Beach Miami with the decor, lighting, furniture and even the staff's uniforms. Low lighting ambiance was really setting the mood to chill. No A/C since they kept their front doors open to invite passersby. Will definitely be back for another salad. There was a separate bar area that looked interesting but didn't have time to explore. Tip: Not really for kids/families. More smallGroups, lunch or dinner with friends before the theatre or date night. Price: $$"
"This ceviche salad was bomb. Definitely worth the try!!! Will come back again for sure"
"This new place with the strange-sounding name (our bartender told us that "Miirch" means spices) offers excellent Indian cuisine and a good happy hour. I ordered the chole, a vegetarian dish with chickpeas, at the top level of heat and was rewarded with a rich flavor that put beads of sweat on my forehead. Paneer ka khaas consisted of generous cubes of paneer marinated in yogurt and spices and served with sliced peppers. We enjoyed happy hour specials on Indian-style pizza topped with cubes of chicken, as well as potato pancake sandwiches that were on the thick side. Friendly bartender put the football game on the TV and took good care of us. She told us that draft beer is coming soon (cans and bottles only at the time of our visit). Easy walk from the Westin Bonaventure hotel."
"Had a chance to check out this place while attending an event with the State Assemblymen for his run on City Council. There is a covered outside seating area. Inside is 2 sections, the dining area has several round tables and chairs set up for 2-4 people. The other side has the bar and high tables and a couple of chairs. I ordered a couple of drinks; the house Margarita, Modelo,Cadillac Margarita and Don Julio Blanco. It was a packed house and the Bartenders were serving cocktails with a flow of easiness. Amazing job. Had a great time."
"I recently came here for breakfast to celebrate one of my best friend's graduation. We came on a Sunday so we thought it was going to be packed. To our surprise, it was really easy to find seats for a party of 8 here. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a vanilla latte. My meal came out to about $35 with taxes and tip. The breakfast burrito was filling. I was only able to eat half of it actually. I wish the burrito was toasted instead of drenched with sauce though, but it was still decent. Breakfast burrito was $18 + $3 for bacon and my latte was $7.50Parking here in Atwater Village is generally a bit difficult, but we were able to find parking in the residential area."
"Situated on Ventura Boulevard, this venue several umbrella covered tables for outdoor seating. There's even a drinking bowl for your pet outside. It metered street parking so be ready. Inside is inviting with a bit of a rustic chic feel. There are enough tables for small groups. Mellow music plays still allowing for visitors to plug in and do some work on laptops. The restroom is unisex. The staff is friendly and helpful. They keep the dining area clean. As soon as a diner leaves, the tables are cleaned quickly. Now for the food. If you've read my reviews, besides food, presentation, esthetics and names are high on my "list". I give an A+ on presentation. The hot chocolate was creamy and "chocolatey" just the way I like it. The omelet was light with just enough flavor, not overpowering. The didn't skimp on the feta. I appreciated the salad on the side. Honestly the prices are a bit high but on the flip side comperable ro Ventura Blvd prices. As always, I ask myself, "Will I return?" With a name like Twinty (I was told the owners are good friends. It's a play on words of twins), of course I will!!"
"In this business, we have to be hospitable. No warm welcome or hello when I came i. I could have ordered for touch screen. But I didn't, I spoke to the employee, let him know what I wanted vs asking me how could he help me. If this is your business plan. I get it, it's a burger joint. Find some rock stars employee to be the face of your business!! Management you can do better. The burger was good!"
"I recently dined at Mirage Grill, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, capturing the essence of Mediterranean hospitality. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, and each one we tried was bursting with flavor. The hummus and falafel were fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the lamb kebabs were tender and delicious. Portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. The service was attentive without being intrusive, making us feel right at home.Mirage Grill has quickly become one of my go-to spots for Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean food or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!"
"I wrote y'all a poem about dinner last night : "A Symphony of Flavors"Food, oh glorious food, you bring me cheer,A symphony of flavors, that banish every fear.At TOMAT, where culinary art meets delight,I savored each bite, in pure gastronomic light. The mushroom tart, a masterpiece, so fine and so sweet,With cheese sauce that danced on my palate, a treat to repeat. The smoked carrots, a revelation, that blew my mind,Brought a tear to my eye, with their tender, smoky design. The trout, perfectly cooked, with dill roumalaude's zest,A delight for my senses, that put my heart at rest. And then, the apple dessert, a heavenly surprise,With clotted ice cream's richness, that opened my eyes.To the joy of culinary art, that touches heart and soul,A symphony of flavors, that makes my spirit whole.TOMAT, you've stolen my heart, with your culinary might,A truly unforgettable dining experience, pure delight!"
"First time trying Ramen and this was a really good choice. Friendly staff, seated quickly and food came out pretty fast. Nice inside and all long tables for sitting. OurServe was nice and helpful when asking what would be the best for newbies to have. Definitely coming back. If you're around give this place a try."
"The Service: Always excellent customer service, never disappoint! Super efficient and attentive. The Food: Love their cafe, freshly brewed all day long. The food portion is big especially the wet burrito! Fresh ingredients is the key to the yummy food. The Parking: Plaza parking lot and street parking (free)Lots of seatings both outdoor and indoor."
"WOW! 10 out of 10! BEST VEGAN RAMEN IN LA!!! We had no idea how incredible this place was until we googled ramen spots in Santa Monica. Some nation wide chains came up and so we decided to go with Kai Ramen because it was a local place and because of their vegan options. We had never been here before but it exceeded our expectations. The staff was so attentive and sweet! Greeted us immediately! We ordered the Garlic Potato Fries(MY FAVORITE)- the garlic taste was unreal! YOU MUST TRY IT! The vegan bao buns were INCREDIBLE TOO! And the Ramen was DELICIOUS! THIS IS OUR NEW FAVORITE SPOT!"
"This place did not disappoint! It's open 24 hours, and the food is absolutely delicious!"
"We were craving for something different other than tacos and Italian food, and saw this on Yelp while on the road to downtown. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and open patio that faces the pool. We kicked off our meal with 3 dips - Hummus, Baba Gaboush, and whipped Ricotta served with in house made super soft pitas. Then we had Turkish Manti, which were delightful little dumplings filled with tender meat and topped with a rich yogurt sauce. Each bite was a perfect balance of flavors, and they were beautifully presented.Next, we tried the Honey Squash Tabouleh. This dish was a refreshing twist on the classic tabouleh, featuring roasted squash that added a subtle sweetness. The combination of fresh herbs and grains made it a light yet satisfying starter. For our main dish, we ordered the *Boneless Chicken Wings (kebob) paired with a unique dip made from chermoula, yogurt ranch, cilantro, and cumin. The wings were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The dip was a standout, offering a zesty kick that complemented the wings beautifully. We also indulged in the Lahmacun with Spiced Wagyu. This flatbread was mixed with spiced wagyu beef, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, making each bite a savory delight.Overall, our experience at this new Greek restaurant was fantastic. The combination of traditional and innovative dishes, along with a welcoming atmosphere, makes it a great choice for both casual dinners and special occasions. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!"
"I just wanted to note that when I posted my review last month, I was contacted within a day or two by a business owner who responded very kindly to my review, saying that they "understood my frustration and will definitely take my feedback into consideration". So, I would like to give another star because this is indeed, a classy way to handle a critical review and I appreciate knowing that my review was met with the intent to make it right in the future instead of sending me a form letter response that means nothing most of of the time.Thank you JJ W."
"If you wanted to stop in during Hollywood tour or you want to somewhere to work of study, this is near the walk of stars. They don't have parking but they have wifi and plenty of seating. The outlets are only downstairs. It gives me Parisian vibes. The staff is super friendly. I notice her asking how's everyone day is and complimenting peoples hair. I love that she was making conversation. I got the lavender latte. There was hint of lavender and the coffee was creamy."
"Great service and ambiance for a morning coffee and breakfast! We will be back ... love this place"
"I couldn't be more delighted with my experience here. It was my Birthday and I lost my mother last year. She was Hungarian so I really wanted to have a meal that I would have enjoyed with her. They did not disappoint. It is now my favorite restaurant in the area. The Hungarian dishes were sooooo good. Highly recommend the Cherry Soup and the Chicken Paprikash. Portions were very good.We also had exceptional service from Norbert. He answered all our questions and made recommendations. We did not mention it was my Birthday but he overheard us talking and brought us the free dessert! I've been telling all my friends about it. Can't wait to go back!!!"
"First off: sorry for the blurry pictures. I didn't realize until after I took them and posted that I had a smudge on my lens.First time here. I'm a big happy hour or if you want to call me; budget minded guy, that's me. I was talking to a friend who's business is a couple of doors down. He told me that Cascabel is over priced and the food wasn't worth what they charge. That's exactly why I thought I try them out during happy hour!I was expecting average but was pleasantly surprised to get delicious. Everything had so much flavor! The margs were good but a little too acidic for my taste. Ok, i had two just to be sure. ;)The prices on the regular menu are definitely on the higher end but at the same time, the individuals living in this neighborhood can probably handle it. Not your typical Mexican restaurant for sure so don't expect refried beans. A definite spin on being unique."
"We stopped by this dessert shop because it was near our hot pot restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a parking lot with available spots for a Saturday night. The pasties and cakes looked and tasted good. The ordering kiosk is easy to use because it had lots of pictures, but since there was only one, it was a bottle neck in placing an order. The employee staff were kind and worked quick to serve your order. The venue is small, but cozy and clean. We would visit again if in the area."
"WOW! WOW! WOW! My son and I stopped by during today's art walk and we were offered a sample of the gumbo. It was so incredible that after walking away, my son and I circled back and ordered fried catfish with 2 sides - mac & cheese and rice with gravy. Holy cow! Everything was insanely flavorful and fresh! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. This is our new favorite spot!"
