"The sandwich is here absolutely delicious! The bread is, fantastic, high quality toppings. The sandwiches are made to order in minutes, they have plenty of inside seating and easy parking out front. Absolutely love their tuna as well as burrata sandwich. They are so friendly and welcoming here, not to mention hard-working. Prices are fair, a large sandwich can easily be shared. Great option if you're looking for a casual bite on Melrose!"
"The service was wonderful! But the food was actually tasteless. With so many ingredients per sandwich, it boggles the mind. We bought three different sandwiches, and all tasted of nothing."

"My friend has been raving about Ggiata's for months, particularly about their Chicken Caesar Salad wrap so I had to try it. Service was quick, decor was cute, and we were able to find a place to sit inside. I ordered The Perfect Chicken Caesar Wrap of course, and it did not disappoint! It was very filling, and the chicken was crispy and well seasoned. However, $17 for one Chicken Caesar wrap (with no side) seems a bit ridiculous from me, but I guess that is to be expected in West Hollywood. Parking was hard to find to, but besides that my experience there was great."
"Man this place is the bomb. Called in and placed 7 orders for pickup. We ordered a ton of different food but the gumbo mumbo over rice was fire!Shout out to the guy working there Omar who took his time and went above and beyond with patience when I asked 100 questions. We will be back!"
"This was my first time here and blown away the history of the business! This is definitely a local spot and has been around for almost a 100 years. This a great spot to get some bomb sandwiches."
"I am so in love with their Wild Arugula Salad! Add avocado (or chicken, whichever you prefer) and extra dressing! The smoothies are really good and so are the fruit cups! The only thing I'd recommend the business to do is to make sure the salad is ALWAYS fresh, as I had one incident where some of the lettuce was going bad. But still, 9/10 can't beat that!"
"Wanted to start off by saying the ambiance of this place is really nice--chill type of vibe with outdoor seating, heated lamps, and nice music. They have an entire area of alcohol to choose from that you enjoy at their seating area. Service: the guy working the register is really friendly. He makes sure to acknowledge any questions you have. Food: I've been here twice so far. Their pasta is amazing!! Please try the carbonara or the pesto pasta. You won't regret it. Their main st sandwich is as pretty good too but their pasta was something I kept reaching for instead. During my second visit, I decided to try the forager pizza with sausage and chicken added plus an order of mozzarella sticks. To be honest, the smell of the pizza was better than the actual taste of the pizza. The entire thing tasted bland and felt like it was missing something. I don't know if they use the same chicken in their pizza as the pasta or if I just don't notice how dry the chicken is in the pasta but the chicken I added on the pizza was super dry and bland. Honestly, skip this pizza ($35.50). The mozzarella sticks were decent but not something to rave about. Parking: plenty of parking in the back lot so no need to worry! Overall, come here for the pasta and surplus of alcohol choices. Try the sandwiches but skip on the forager pizza."
"Cleanliness is very important to me. And this place is clean and tidy.A very large number. Home-cooked food. And very very tasty.I liked the pilaf and fish. Also a lot of good desserts. Abundance of chocolate and sweetsExcellent selection of soups. It's also fashionable to sit in front of a store with a canapé. Cozy and cuteVery good service. Smiling :))And dairy products"
"I came in to look at the caviar selection and pricing and met Vic who handles all things caviar here. He gave me a taste and a generous sample to take to my caviar obsessed boss to try. The service is warm, friendly and so helpful. The store is very clean and well stocked with fresh produce that looked really good, lots of canned items, fresh breads, so many different kinds of cheeses and meats and most of all their deli case. The prepared foods all looked wonderful and something I will go back and try soon.I've been going to Odessa down the street and never again. I'm all about supporting small, family run businesses who provide great services and products and appreciate their customers by simply being nice! I will definitely come back soon."
"I'll admit it: I've never had a Chopped Cheese sandwich before. But if they're all as good as the one I had at this place...damn. It was super good. Way more flavorful than you might expect from a sandwich that's somewhere between a burger and a sloppy Joe.I also had the tater tots, and they were super good, too. Way more flavorful than most place's.As for the place itself, it's your typical mini-mall kind of eatery. A handful of tables, a bunch of places to park, nothing fancy. But it's not a fancy kind of food, so it fits.Same goes for the staff, who were also nice and normal. If I have any complaints, and I don't really, it's that the chairs could've been more comfortable. But then, I'm a middle-aged man, the chairs can always be more comfortable."
"My family is from New Orleans, I love this place! The poboys are delicious, the jambalaya hits the spots, and normally I'm not a Mac and cheese person but theirs is SO GOOD! Additionally, you can buy all the great spices, hot sauces, and seasonings that are impossible to find otherwise!I have now convinced my coworkers to add it to our rotation of places to eat!"
"I ordered the Turkey Special with carmelized onions, arugula, Brie... it was delicious."

Best sandwiches in LA! All about the bread, indeed. Their bread is outrageously delicious and of course, very fresh. The Godfather with the works is my absolute favorite -- though you can't go wrong with any of their other sandwiches. Service is always great. There's a small parking lot in front. In theory, that's awesome. But I've never been fortunate enough to get a spot because they're always so busy!

Not sure what most reviews are bad but their Milanese sandwich is really great, great ciabatta bread.

The spicy P is perfection for me. The toasted seeded sourdough is crunchy yet airy, and the toasted sesame seeds take it to the next level. It pairs perfectly with the well seasoned chicken cutlet which was warm and juicy. The spicy vodka sauce, with the basil, and pesto sauce had me wanting the sandwich to never end. One of the best sandwiches I've tried. It may not look glamorous, but the balance of flavors, texture, and portion of each ingredient is brilliant.

Wanted to try something new in the neighborhood and this spot popped up. Decided to get the shrimp Philly and Cajun fries. The Philly is huge, probably a foot long if not more. It was packed with jumbo shrimp, the cheese pull was ridiculous, and all the veggie and sauce in between. Some of the bites were a bit too salty but once you got enough of the bread in each bite, it was delicious. The fries were fluffy and seasoned. I only ate half of all of it in one sitting because it was very filling. The menu is pretty big so it took me a while to decide. They also have desserts and other sides, drinks, and sweets in the fridge/coolers. Service was pretty fast, only had to wait a handle of minutes from when I ordered to when I received my food. Wouldn't mind dining in next time, they have lots of seating with barstools and high ceilings that open up the space a ton.

Great sandwiches but I believe they are now providing less meat. This is one of the great sandwich places in town but do t hold back on the meat. I've been coming here for 8 years and I do notice the difference

Love going to V Cafe as they have the best customer service and delicious food. Their Chipotle Chicken wrap is my favorite and their freshly made daily soups and pasta.

What a great find! Just wanted a simple sandwich to take to a brewery: and found this place in the area! It's a no fuss kind of place where the focus is on quality food with quality ingredients. In a location that looks like just a liquor store you will find this hidden gem that sells wine bottle, beers from all over and a lengthy menu. A menu that consist of pizza, pasta, sandwiches and more! We grabbed a quick meatball sandwich and it was filled with tender meatballs, sauce and yummy cheese! It was a perfect compliment to my cider! As the food was so good, I look forward to stopping for other quick bites. You can also eat at the deli: they have a small outdoor patio that is shaded. Plus the deli has a free small parking lot in the back! Hey, you know this place is good if two fire trucks are pulled up for some food!

"I visited this restaurant on a recommendation. It seems like an institution. I expected my nearly $30 corned beef sandwich to be tasty. It was ridiculously fatty and disappointing."
"I love this place! The Salad is what I go for but everything is good except for the drink prices outrageous. Avoid the lunch hour rush it can get real crowded and hectic it's a shame they're only open during the week because I would so hit this spot up on the weekend otherwise"
"Love the outdoor dining option and honestly it was a huge decision factor. But we came here on a very busy Friday afternoon and we couldn't find an outdoor table. People were taking tables before ordering which makes those who already ordered have less time to find a table before their food is ready (stressful). As for food, the I wished the Bialy bagel exterior was a little softer. The labneh and smoked salmon was delicious. Recommend those toppings! Porchetta sandwich took a while to come out. It was on display. It was nice and meaty. It should have a dipping sauce. The bread was a bit dry. It is an ample portion and I was super full. Get the carrot cake. It is so moist and the thick frosting is so good. I'm hoping to try the croque madame next time! It looks delicious."
"I've been coming here for years! The Shrimp app Boys are always a hit!! The spicy sauce that goes with is insane!! Please drop in here and experience this place."
"Very delicious sandwiches. Waited across street for hour, to order than be turned away after we ordered for running out of bread. So hungry we looked up places around and this came up. So glad we ventured over. Bread fresh with crunchy outside and good fillings. Daughter got capri. She felt like prosciutto but they didn't have it so sub cappicola. I got the Brie!! So good. Wish Brie was a little bit warmer though. Would go back."
"Stopped by Uncle Pauline's randomly for a quick lunch today cuz they looked like a cool trendy sammie shop.I had the Italian. It was good with a good portion of meat and proportions of veggies. And the pepperoni was not overpowering the turkey and ham, which is a pet peeve of mine. The Zapp's New Orleans Kettle Style Voodoo Hea chips were good. Not much heat, which is ok. But a little salty for my taste. But I recommend them.I drank Uncle Paulie's Blood Orange Lemonade. I was hoping it was a little sweeter than it was, but was still good and refreshing for a sunny afternoon. The inside was mom and pop trendy hipster deli style, IMO, and give a homie vibe. Dig their selection of drinks and salads. Nothing commercial!I recommend this place Uncle Paulie's. I will be back! Thanks guys!"
"Subs? Good.Gelato? Good.Potato salad? Good.Pizza? Gooood.Lasagna? Gooooooood. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in Burbank. Affordable and great quality food. Service is quick and friendly. It's quiet and cozy as if you're eating at a relative's home. They also have a small market with a deli and dessert section."
"My favorite place to pick up Eastern European foods from their freshly prepared refrigerated food display cases. Everything from cabbage rolls, to grandma's pickles to desserts. Yum! They'll heat it up for you, so you can eat it there (a tiny outdoor patio/sidewalk seating area in front - two 2tops?), or take it to go to your favorite park (like Griffith) for a picnic! Fresh rye bread too! It's a mini Europeans food market on one side of the store too. I do wish they'd carry Lithuanian products, though."
"Hands down best fish & chips I have ever had. Huge portions. Two folks can split it. Highly recommend."
"Haven't eaten here so unable to rate ambiance. I've always ordered delivery and each time has been really good!Food - delicious! We tend to always order Chicago Beef and Spicy Italian/Cold Cuts. Cannot go wrong with either! Service was good!"
"Is Horseradish important to you? It's a Big Deal to me.And, I want to tell you, this place makes the BEST horseradish I've ever purchased. It's truly outstanding. Way better than any I've ever bought in a grocery store. Equal to any I've had in a restaurant. As I was walking by the display case at Magee's I noticed these jars of horseradish. And I was struck by how much display space was afforded the product. Then I noticed there were two different kinds, the familiar looking white kind and a strange red version.I had to find out what was up with the red horseradish so I asked the guy behind the counter. He explained that the red had a little Beet Juice added to it. He told me it was popular in Jewish cuisine, that it paired well with gefilte fish. He continued on, sharing a bit of the company's history. I was surprised to learn that Magee's is over a 100 years old, and their Horseradish was their first product. Originally it was sold from a little cart on the street. Then, in 1917, when Grand Central Market was built, Magee's was one of the first tenants. After nearly 20 years at the Grand Central, Magee's moved here to the Original LA Farmer's Market in 1934 becoming the Market's first restaurant. I was so surprised to learn that this is the oldest restaurant here. I was kicking myself for having never eaten here before. I resolved to remedy that at my earliest possible opportunity. And I decided right then to buy a jar of their horseradish, the product their whole 100 plus years as a company was built on.So, tonight I tried that horseradish and WOW was I impressed. The stuff is pure freshly ground horseradish, no filler, no weird add ins. If it's not perfect, it definitely will do until perfect comes along. As my Grandpa used to say, that stuff will put hair on your chest!Mikey C says: Ooooo-weee, that's good horseradish!"
"What a wonderful place! This is a family owned business and their love for their business shines through. Great service, delicious breakfast, lunch and smoothies. The best green drink ever! Highly recommend. If eating there, sit upstairs. Super cute"
"Ordered on DoorDash and picked up. I really enjoyed the chopped cheese. Mozzarella sticks were regular but not bad. I'd definitely return. Parking is a little bit difficult but the service was good and my food was ready on time. The shop is small but has some seating. My only complaint is the cost of the sauces. Charging $2.40 for sauces and $1.20 for ketchup is insane."
"Had a grilled pesto Chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich was so delicious. They have so much to choose from. I just wish they had better parking. It's not their fault, it's LA. Definitely will be returning . I forgot the name of the sandwich I purchased, but I believe it was the grilled chicken pesto with cheese and tomato with spinach. BOMB!"
"This review should be for both locations but I will place the review here. In a rush I had placed an online order then went to pick it up at the expected time that I was notified via text. When I went to pick it up, the person (didn't get his name but i owe this man a thank you) looked up the order and made the sandwich quickly. At the moment was not so impressed that my order was not ready and the guy had a hard time locating it. Later got a call from the deli that my sandwich was ready for pickup. In short I had placed the order to another location and went to pick up here. The lady said it was okay as long as I got my sandwich but it sure is costly to small businesses. The guy did not even mention that I had made a mistake and rushed the pastrami sandwich, which was as good as I had expected. But the service that I received today really was great and humbling. So thank you and sorry at the same time.Great service and delicious sandwiches all the time. Highly recommend."
"This place is so cool, it's an all in one spot with some of the best sandwiches in town! Very clean and the staff is so nice. Parking is a little tough but if you're a native you know exactly what to do. They seem to always be fully stocked with the latest stuff. I had a bacon lettuce and cucumber sandwich it was delightful."
"Been wanting to come here for quite a while since it started flooding my social media channels. Taking the long trek from OC we had high expectations and it didn't disappoint.Ordered: The papa - pastrami was absolutely perfect while the rye bread was the best we've ever had (been to Katz deli and a bunch of other delis) hands down! All the ingredients stood on their own, launching their own flavor profiles at just the right time during the chew. Awesome sandwich...so awesome I feel calling it just a sandwich doesn't do it justice.Bagel with cream cheese and bacon for the kiddos. Well done bagel. It was really good.Caesar Salad was really good too. You can tell by the anchovies forward dressing it was made with fresh ingredients. Great place overall with employees that care about customer service and cleanliness! Kudos to this operation as there was not a single flaw."
"Amazing Italian sandwiches! Fresh fresh fresh!!!!Everything in the sandwich is high-quality. I like the veggie but my husband likes the classic Italian cold cut."
"Tiny place no deli ambienceNo coffeeNot a real deli experience. With all the really great delis in LA I'm surprised this place has survived. At 10AM I was the only customer.Would not return or recommend"
"Everything I could want from a pizza, plenty of cheese and affordable.I got Hawaiian because it's the only place pineapple belongs."
"Wow. I don't come to Beverly Hills very often, but I instantly bookmarked Splurge for a return visit next time I'm here. My panini was so good, and so reasonably priced, that I'm leaving this review before even leaving the patio table. Yelp for the win for recommending this place, as there's no signage outside indicating the gem to be found within the lobby."
"Oh my gosh! The food here is amazing. It's literally one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've ever had"
