It was very filling, and the chicken was crispy and well seasoned. However, $17 for one Chicken Caesar wrap (with no side) seems a bit ridiculous from me, but I guess that is to be expected in West Hollywood. Parking was hard to find to, but besides that my experience there was great."

They have an entire area of alcohol to choose from that you enjoy at their seating area. Service: the guy working the register is really friendly. He makes sure to acknowledge any questions you have. Food: I've been here twice so far. Their pasta is amazing!! Please try the carbonara or the pesto pasta. You won't regret it. Their main st sandwich is as pretty good too but their pasta was something I kept reaching for instead. During my second visit, I decided to try the forager pizza with sausage and chicken added plus an order of mozzarella sticks. To be honest, the smell of the pizza was better than the actual taste of the pizza. The entire thing tasted bland and felt like it was missing something. I don't know if they use the same chicken in their pizza as the pasta or if I just don't notice how dry the chicken is in the pasta but the chicken I added on the pizza was super dry and bland. Honestly, skip this pizza ($35.50). The mozzarella sticks were decent but not something to rave about. Parking: plenty of parking in the back lot so no need to worry! Overall, come here for the pasta and surplus of alcohol choices. Try the sandwiches but skip on the forager pizza."

"I came in to look at the caviar selection and pricing and met Vic who handles all things caviar here. He gave me a taste and a generous sample to take to my caviar obsessed boss to try. The service is warm, friendly and so helpful. The store is very clean and well stocked with fresh produce that looked really good, lots of canned items, fresh breads, so many different kinds of cheeses and meats and most of all their deli case. The prepared foods all looked wonderful and something I will go back and try soon.I've been going to Odessa down the street and never again. Way more flavorful than most place's.As for the place itself, it's your typical mini-mall kind of eatery. A handful of tables, a bunch of places to park, nothing fancy. But it's not a fancy kind of food, so it fits.Same goes for the staff, who were also nice and normal.If I have any complaints, and I don't really, it's that the chairs could've been more comfortable. But then, I'm a middle-aged man, the chairs can always be more comfortable."

"Is Horseradish important to you? It's a Big Deal to me.And, I want to tell you, this place makes the BEST horseradish I've ever purchased. It's truly outstanding. Way better than any I've ever bought in a grocery store. Equal to any I've had in a restaurant.As I was walking by the display case at Magee's I noticed these jars of horseradish. And I was struck by how much display space was afforded the product. Then I noticed there were two different kinds, the familiar looking white kind and a strange red version.I had to find out what was up with the red horseradish so I asked the guy behind the counter. He explained that the red had a little Beet Juice added to it. He told me it was popular in Jewish cuisine, that it paired well with gefilte fish. He continued on, sharing a bit of the company's history. I was surprised to learn that Magee's is over a 100 years old, and their Horseradish was their first product. Originally it was sold from a little cart on the street. Then, in 1917, when Grand Central Market was built, Magee's was one of the first tenants. After nearly 20 years at the Grand Central, Magee's moved here to the Original LA Farmer's Market in 1934 becoming the Market's first restaurant. I was so surprised to learn that this is the oldest restaurant here. I was kicking myself for having never eaten here before. I resolved to remedy that at my earliest possible opportunity.And I decided right then to buy a jar of their horseradish, the product their whole 100 plus years as a company was built on.So, tonight I tried that horseradish and WOW was I impressed. The stuff is pure freshly ground horseradish, no filler, no weird add ins. If it's not perfect, it definitely will do until perfect comes along.As my Grandpa used to say, that stuff will put hair on your chest!Mikey C says: Ooooo-weee, that's good horseradish!"
