"Came in on a Friday morning & got seated immediately, weekends can be a long wait though. Ordered the hear me roar pancakes, bacon & potatoes sides. I think one order of pancakes is definitely enough for at least 4 people, so be weary on portions. Delicious food & fast service"
"Cute French Cafe with delicious pastries, that's perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. They've been open for 25+ years, and it has a super chill vibe overall. Workers are friendly and accommodating. Menu items are priced reasonable and offer a lot of options. Iced coffee was great alongside the banana cream tart dessert. One of the best I've had. I ordered the lox bagel which was delicious however, it doesn't come presentable like in my photo. (I styled it that way) I personally had to spread my own cream cheese (from packets) and ask for capers on the side because they forgot them. At least the smoked salmon was a good amount. I think the DIY aspect justified the lower cost of it and it was tasty. BONUS: They are dog friendly!"

"The vibe and the food here are really good. I made a reservation today at 11:15 and got there a bit early. The server sat me down promptly and placed a reserved sign on the table, which made me feel special. Ordering was easy enough: the menus are in the front of the cafe and you order there before you sit down with your number. I got the shakshuka with grilled sourdough and the elderberry hibiscus. I really liked the sourdough bread that came with the shakshuka. It tasted really fresh and homemade, and it paired well with the tomatoey, eggy and cheesy shakshuka. I also liked that the tea was not sweet at all and appreciated that I could actually taste the floweriness of it. The ambience in the cafe was good too. Overall, my experience here was great. I would definitely like to go back and try the other foods they have there, as well as their coffee.PS. I think option 3 to get to the restaurant on their map is the best. Its free parking for 2 hours, and the restaurant is literally right across the street from the structure. You just have to make sure you leave the structure on the correct side."
"Got the Turkey Pesto Provolone Sandwich ($9.75), Pumpkin Pie ($3.75), and a regular coffee ($2).FOOD: Sandwich was tasty and refreshing. The ciabatta bread complimented the ingredients very well, the pesto tasted fresh and well balanced. The provolone melted everything together.I'm saving the pumpkin pie for later... I'll update my review [if I remember to].As for the regular coffee, I'm still feeling the caffeine - I hope it doesn't keep me up. If it does I'll remove one star from the review.SERVICE: Great service. People were friendlyATMOSPHERE: Peaceful and clean. Made me want to read a book..."
"A small little French bakery spot located in what I want to say is the East Hollywood area. They have a pretty simple and straightforward menu with not too many items but they do specialize in some French baked goods as well as French style sandwiches. It should be noted that they have some sides and salads as well as well as a pretty good selection of breakfast beverages. The folks here are very friendly and I want to say they are legit French if my ear for accents is anything. There's a window that you walk up to and order and you wait for your food after. There's some seating on the side and a few benches out front to sit, but this place feels more conducive for takeout.I ordered the jambon beurre and it was such a tasty sandwich. The baguette is firm and has a great bite to it and the French butter is so creamy. The ham was of high quality and also very tasty. There are some pickles on top to give it a little bit of acid. They really do this French staple really well. I ordered the pink praline latte as well and it was such a great and tasty coffee drink. The street where it's located is kind of busy so parking could get a little hectic, but I was able to find parking along one of the side streets in the residential area."
"Perfect on-the-go breakfast spot. A few neighbors and I ordered a different muffins to try before our game night and they were all so delicious! I love their Sausage redemption with hash browns and a side of Karma Coffee"
"I have brought several coffee heads here and without fail they sing the praises of the quality of the coffee itself here - not the fancy delicious drinks they have but the actual espresso itself. The vibes are really cozy and even though it's always busy it never feels overwhelming or too loud, just lots of people working and enjoying the space. They also have DELICIOUS baked goods and bagel sandwiches. Not to mention the folks that work there are always really nice and quick to get orders out no matter how busy they are. Big fan!The parking lot here can be a nightmare and is often converted to a valet lot so you're better off looking across Vermont for a street spot near the apartment complexes and walking over."
"Spectacular! Spectacular staff, spectacular sandwiches, spectacular vibe. Just spectacular! Sam was such a homie and helped us order. The wine selection is pretty dope, but I gotta try the wines to really evaluate it."
"Great place for a chat and a bite.First, there is some parking in the back but it's likely full. It's more of a hassle to go into the lot and get turned around and then back out onto the street so I would recommend grabbing a two hour spot on the street. All the tables and chairs were occupied inside but it was easy to find a table outside. They all had sun protection. It seems like a place people hang out and do some laptop camping. It has a good vibe so maybe they feel it and get some good work done! The food:Chicken Ceasar Salad. $19.50. First of all, I don't even like it, but my friend does and we each picked something to split. This was her choice, and you know what? It was really good! I was afraid the chicken would be dry but it wasn't. It was moist and tasty. Thumbs up!I ordered avocado toast. $15.50. It was delicious. It was a little difficult to cut. I actually would have preferred something other than a bread knife to cut it. Still, it was excellent and so was the presentation. They really prettied it up! Big yes on the avo toast! This is a great place if you want to get a feel for the Silverlake scene. If you have a friend from out of town, this would be a place where they can get a slice of LA life. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Loved it and you will too!"
"We came back to Zinc for their happy hour on a Friday afternoon. The place wasn't too busy, and the service at the bar was fantastic. We tried a cup of the daily soup special, which was lentils with chickpeas--simple and pleasant. We also had their perfectly crispy French fries with truffle salt, which were delicious. For drinks, we sampled three cocktails: the rosemary mojito, the Zinc mezcal margarita, and the mango mule with mango pulp. All were well-balanced and not overly sweet, but the mezcal margarita and mango mule were the standouts. The mojito, while refreshing, was a bit light in flavor compared to the others.Overall, it was another great experience, and we highly recommend Zinc for happy hour."
"I looked online for the best tuna sandwich in the area and was not disappointed. Ordered it online for pick up, lots of customizable options, pickup was on the side window and was quick. I had to park in front of Well Fargo on a meter. Good banana cream pie as well"
"The service was exceptional. The last that took our order was so friendly and didn't rush us with our decisions. She gave us recommendations and they were great! It's a cute little coffee/tea shop that also serves a vast amount of food and baked goods. The turkey burger with garlic curly fries were delicious! There is no uncharge for fresh garlic or curly fries. The hazelnut latte was also delicious. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating."

This place is always a 5 star! The Food is always over the top in portion, flavor, and presentation. The service is always on par! My server frequently came to check to see if we were doing ok or if we needed anything. The vibes are always welcoming here with fun R&B classics playing in the background and the aroma of fresh cooked breakfast as you walk in. There is a huge parking lot in the rear of the restaurant.

Randomly found this place at the corner it says furniture, coffee and like deli. I was looking for a coffee place and the one i tried to go to has no parking and this place had a parking lot. Close to freeway. Spacious inside and out. No lines in the morning at 9:30am. Quick service. Seems like a mom and pop shop. I had the vanilla latte that was recommended for iced coffee.

Leora Café is a gem! Their sourdough bread is absolutely the best, and the owners are incredibly kind. The food is consistently amazing, and their shakshuka is the only one I'll eat in Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

A new breakfast sandwich spot has opened in DTLA and it's delicious. I came here for the first time recently and I ordered the Pastrami Papi and a hashbrown for a late breakfast.Everything is made to order so it takes a few minutes but the staff here are friendly and helpful with any questions I had. The decor is bright and I love the branding everywhere on the walls and even the merch is cute.My pastrami papi sandwich was delicious and filling. There was plenty of pastrami in my sandwich and the english muffin was well-toasted and crunchy. The dijon aioli and pickle dipped cucumbers cut through the fattiness of the pastrami and the egg and cheese added a rich and creamy flavor. The hash brown was crispy and had good potato flavor.Pricing is quite good for what you get and It's pretty affordable considering this spot is in DTLA. There is parking available at one of the nearby lots or you can park on the street.

Alchemist Coffee Project is a vibrant coffee place where coffee lovers gather to experience the art and culture of coffee. Moreover, it's a specialty coffee shop dedicated to serve the best coffee and provide the best service.Interior design was aesthetic with relaxing atmosphere. A good place to study, work and hangout with friends. Similarly, it's small but spacious enough to move around. They have a good selection of coffee, teas and pastries. I came on an early weekend morning. As a first time customer, I was thrilled to try their stuff. I had a Spanish Latte (10oz), Croissant and Bread Pudding. Coffee was smooth and perfectly brewed. Pastries were divine and soft especially the pudding. Female Staff was affable and respectful. Service was very satisfactory. Free wifi. Prices for pastries and drinks were a lil expensive. However, the quality speaks volume. Plenty of parking spot given it's located in a midsize plaza. Overall, we enjoyed our drinks, pastries and had a very satisfactory experience. I recommend this coffee shop.

Finally made a point to come here. It's located right beside the place where people in my district go to apply for parking permits, so it was a bit surreal seeing a hipster joint situated right next to a bureaucratic hell hole. But I digress.I went at about 2:30pm, so I probably missed a lunchtime crush (assuming there is one). What I encountered was a super low-key hangout. It's perfectly nice inside, but the energy felt a little subdued. But none of that really matters.I ordered their most popular sandwich, the Normandie, which is one of those food experiences that's so sublime, you can't believe your luck. It's a very rich sandwich and I saved half for later. The way the daikon radish offsets the cheese and brisket is genius. There are two special sauces, one in the sandwich and another for dipping...and they are both amazing. In a word, this sandwich is the embodiment of umami. And the roll is like the best baguette you've ever had. So satisfying! This place is 3 mi from where I live, and if I lived any closer, I'd be in serious trouble.I also picked up a box of frozen burritos from Burritos La Palma (the best). It's a special collaboration where the burritos feature Open Market's chicken adobo. They come in a box of 4 for $20.p.s. Don't let parking phobia stop you from trying this place. Open Market is located on a busy block of mid-Wilshire/Koreatown, so it's possible I got very lucky finding a meter right outside the restaurant. But there is parking somewhere under the building and they validate. You just have to figure out where the lot is.

"Memory Look in Koreatown has quickly become one of my go-to spots! First off, their matcha is absolutely delicious, and the hojicha coffee is a standout--smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If you're a fan of unique drinks, this place will not disappoint. What really sets Memory Look apart, though, is the space. There's plenty of seating, making it a perfect spot for getting some work done or just relaxing. The wifi is solid, and there are accessible power outlets everywhere--ideal for anyone planning to stay awhile. The service is that of a typical cafe. You order at the counter and they call your name to pick it up. No microphone and speaker like some noisy cafes do though. Parking in LA can be a nightmare, but not here. They've got ample parking, which makes the experience that much more stress-free.Whether you're grabbing a drink to-go or looking for a comfortable spot to hang out, Memory Look hits all the right notes. I can't recommend it enough!"
"Came here during a photo walk and ordered the burger and my sister ordered the chicken sandwich. Let me tell you the food was amazing. The service was great. Highly recommend."
"Went to this one by mistake not realizing it wasn't the one closer to universal studios.Seemed smaller than the other but had the same menu.Sausage redemption is my go to sandwich, had it with egg white this time.No tea but I've tried the tea at the other location and liked it. Worth a try."
"Seriously... THE BEEEEST CUBAN COFFEE/BREAKFAST/LUNCH TRUCK OUT THERE! I'm OBSESSED! I've tried serval plates on the menu and I can't say it enough how delicious everything I ordered was! I got the refried beans with cheese and Cuban bread. OOOOOMMMMHGGGG! That's not even my thing but daaaamn was that the most flavorful sandwich I've tasted EVER! I devoured that damn plate! Had the kubanita Koffee! Better then Starbucks and Coffee bean put together! You feel the love in the food and drink! I wish every establishment would do the same. You seriously taste the difference! I've tried the platanes...delicious!I've tried the crepes... bomb! The carne asada sandwich... it leaves you wanting mooooore!!!You can't go wrong with anything on that truck! Everything is made with so much love! Uuuughhhh, and they have the cuttest truck too! Not to mention they have good for your dogs! Whaaat?!! AMAZING! Great service, great food, good vibes! What more can I ask for! Just in love with La Kubanita!"
"A limited selection of items but good none the less. Tried the tea and the sausage redemption. Not a fan of runny egg my only kinda complaint but good breakfast spot before hitting universal studios if in the area."
"Delicious food cute place. Great service good prices. Eat here, particularly if you are staying across the street at the Edition where the coffee costs more than this delicious breakfast"
"The Brekkie Burrito (how do they get those hash browns so crispy??) and a latte has become my preferred way to start the day in DTLA. The space is very cozy and lush with plants and all around good vibes from the staff."
"If they're a tea master they must know their stuff, right? After stopping in for a cup of matcha I can confirm that they're masters at crafting quality matcha lattes--but that's just my opinion! This was probably one of my favorite cups of matcha that I've drank in LA.Tea Master Matcha Shop & Green Tea Cafe is a hidden gem that you'll either stumble upon or hunt down. The shop is small and unassuming. Clean and cozy on the inside with some matcha and other tea supplies you can buy. No seating inside but a few tables outside to sip and chill. The ladies working were lovely and efficient. You order and pay at the register and they call out your number or bring it to you. This matcha shop has a small and sweet menu. Soft serve or matcha tea drinks--they're known for the former. I would've loved to try their infamous soft serve but ya girl is dairy-free. For my visit, I opted for an Iced Matcha Oat Latte. The matcha latte was high quality. None of that watered-down or overly sweet stuff you find at other spots. It was slightly sweet, earthy, and well-balanced. Highly recommend and for the price, well worth it!The cafe scene in LA is an eyesore, but from my experience at Tea Master, I know their items are made of quality! I'd love to come back and support this friendly and locally run business in the heart of Little Tokyo! Find their small shop in the shopping plaza where there's paid parking in the lot."
"Top notch service at this super cute hoppin breakfast and lunch spot packed with charm. Prices range from about $17.00 ish per dishI ordered french toast with a side of applewood extra crispy bacon. Everything was off the hook. I washed it down with never ending coffee. We also had their famous chilaquilies which were equally delicous. Their menu consists of breakfast and lunch staples with a twist. A very extensive coffee menu as well.Their service alone was a solid 10 stars. Parking in the back or on the street."
"Biscuit & Bean (est 2022) is a relatively newcoffee shop that customers can expect some of the best house-made biscuits and biscuit dishes. Their coffee was proudly serve from Fulcrum Roasters. I always passed by them every time I drive along Sunset blvd-Echo Park. I made a quick stop early in the morning to grab coffee. Interior has plenty of natural light. Decor and atmosphere were modern and relaxing, respectively. Moreover, they have a modest coffee list. I ordered a hot Latte. It's good and foamy. Perfect on a cool LA morning. Staff was affable and professional. Service was on point. Ample of street parking and their small parking lot. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my coffee. I will try their biscuit next time. I recommend this cafe."
"Delightful and authentic middle eastern coffee spot! The food is all handmade and you can really tell. They have everything from pastries to hummus and sandwiches, and all of it is excellent. Tastes really fresh and flavorful. Their baklava was too good to NOT eat in three perfect little bites, so it didn't make the photo hah but the cinnamon whipped honey coffee was nice and strong. I will say, the service *did* take a while because I think the owner was the only one in there making everything himself and doing orders himself too, so hopefully that changes. It made us late for our next stop which was disappointing since we paid for the food and didn't realize it would take 45 minutes to get three sandwiches. We understood that he was on his own, but that definitely can't keep happening!"
"Delicious simple colorful food. Their paleo bread is so worth it!! Nice area to sit inside and outside. The portions were decently sized and the service was awesome."
"Love this gem! Wonderful ambiance. Excellent service and delicious food! Everything you want!"
"This is a story of how you really should listen to the suggestion of the restaurant when ordering. I am a first timer after hearing rave reviews of parakeet cafe. I mistakenly ordered the salmon toast not realizing that it's covered with an olive tapinade... not great since I do not love olives. I'm really hating my meal while my friend ordered the parakeet bowl with tofu. I'm so jealous because it smells delicious and looks fantastic. I ordered a vegetarian parakeet bowl and now I'm on board with all the good reviews. Portion is huge and worth the drive. I wouldn't recommend the salmon toast."
"The food is extraordinary! The spices they use are everything! Their pastries & bread are sooooo fresh and well made! We ordered the: Zaatar & Feta Babka - 10/10 The Diner Plate - OMG served with the best jam I've ever had The breakfast Mezze- I personally loved it! A lot of the food in this dish is pretty heavily pickled so just make sure you like that briney taste if you chose to order this. Also their Chai is one of the best I've had! And their service is amazing. Totally recommend!!"
"My biggest regret is not buying the frozen varenyky before I left because it was so incredibly good.I've never had Ukranian food prior to this meal but it certainly won't be my last. I'm willing to make the 1-hour trek here again just for their brunch because it's some of the more unique menu items I've ever tried. The potato varenyky were to die for with how soft and tender the dough was and the mlyntsi was such a good combination of sweet crepe batter and savory smoked salmon. We also ordered the holubtsi with beef which seemed tiny in terms of portions but it packs so much flavor in every bite and doesn't even need the sour cream on the side. If you try the syrnyky, I recommend asking them for half custard and half berry because you get the best of both worlds and they compliment each other surprisingly well. My boyfriend ordered a Spanish latte and I just asked for water but the kind cashier recommended a Ukrainian specialty drink called kompot which is essentially boiled fruit juice and I was so glad she did because it was so light, sweet, and refreshing.I loved sitting outdoors but they also have a spacious interior where you can find plenty of seats. It's going to be street parking but there were plenty of them down the whole block when I visited on a Saturday."
"The best breakfast burrito I've ever had!!! Best service ever!! Definitely coming back!!The coffee and lemonade delicious too , lemonade has free refills!!"
"I finally had the chance to dine at Blueys in Mar Vista after passing by so many times, and I was excited to check it out with two friends on a Friday night! We were seated outside, which was pleasant, though the experience was slightly dampened by some patrons smoking near a nearby bar, definitely something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to that. The dinner menu wasn't overly extensive, but it had some solid options. I was between the steak and the pasta and ultimately ordered the Homie e Pepe, which was packed with flavor and a satisfying choice, though I believe it may have been replaced by another pasta dish on the current menu. One of my friends, who had previously enjoyed the Bidi Bidi Bahn Mi, opted for the Fish & Chips this time but found himself wishing he had gone with his usual favorite. On the other hand, my other friend ordered that sandwich and really enjoyed it!The overall ambiance was casual and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. While I had a great experience at dinner, I'm holding off on that coveted fifth star until I come back for brunch... I've heard amazing things about their breakfast/brunch menu and I can't wait to try it for myself! So, yes - I'm already looking forward to my next visit...!"
"We had Akasha cater our Thanksgiving this year and it was perfection. They have both vegan and gluten free options. I'm mostly vegetarian so I really appreciate this! Portion sizes were generous and the delivery fee was fair. Reheating instructions were included and easy to follow. They also offer pick up. Everything was. Packaged beautifully and I received everything I ordered.I had the local lettuce and persimmon salad, winter squash and fennel soup, Yukon mashed potatoes, vegan stuffing, mac and cheese, candied sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts and shallots, cranberry sauce, mushroom gravy, buttermilk rolls, and gluten free pumpkin pie. I would definitely order Thanksgiving from Akasha again. Only think I would do differently is get a second pumpkin pie because it was delicious and went so fast."
"Vegetarian spot with lots of to-go options and a really nice back patio. Very healthy cuisine that focuses on bringing veggies to the forefront. A good option if you're looking for a lighter option for lunch. They have a good selection from sandwiches to bowls. We got the Middle Eastern Breakfast and the Grain Bowl. Very herb forward with plenty of mint for the Breakfast Platter. The Grain Bowl was more straightforward with quinoa and topped with sweet potatoes and some veggies and herbs. We added eggs to bowl which made it more filling. Service was good and friendly as well."
"It's all about the beans here... Great quality beans. Coffee beans that is. Cold brew here is top tier in my opinion. Not watered down tasting like most places. 20 hours brewing.. Long enough?Ganache mocha has a great balance of chocolate and coffee. They use single origin Ecuador 70% chocolate from Dandelion Chocolate. I've tried an espresso tonic from here. Just to try since I've never had. Honestly, not my thing. I usually go here really early. So, lines are never an issue. Otherwise, watch yourself waiting outside. The inside is smaller than their other locations with a weird layout of the cashier near the entry door leaving people standing in line outside. Baked goods here are sourced from Nonna Mercato (LBC).They also sell their own roasted beans single sourced various parts of the world.Service here is friendly. Definitively a must visit if you care about coffee quality."
"This is a café and restaurant that I have been wanting to try out for a long time. I was worried about long lines just before Christmas but it was easy. They have a lot of tables in the arcade and outside under an awning. The wait staff was charming and the inside of the store was amazing! I would have bought one of their handmade gingerbread houses that was very fairly priced ($14). It felt very festive and the food was delicious. This is one of the best lunch spots in Los Angeles."
"Love this place! I'm here at least 3-4 times a week. Sometimes twice a day if I'm working a long day! I work right around the corner and love love love coming into this adorable cafe! The food is amazing and the service is what makes it even better. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I love walking in here in the mornings for my coffee and bagel and also of course walk over for lunch. Salads are amazing!"
