"This is one of my favorite newer bars for a number of reasons: kind, friendly staff; delicious vegan options; tasty cocktails; and a section on the drink list for seltzers, ciders, and kombuchas, which not everywhere has! Best of all, they have a kick-ass honky tonk music night once a month on a Thursday that I try to get to every time I can. The vibe is great, with all the cool murals, fun lighting, and little design flourishes really adding to the ambiance...especially when the sports are turned off because music is playing (no offense to sports fans but I'm not one). I went there for my most recent bday and had just the best time. As a valley girl, I will literally travel over the hill on a weeknight just to go here, haha."
"Came in on a Friday morning & got seated immediately, weekends can be a long wait though. Ordered the hear me roar pancakes, bacon & potatoes sides. I think one order of pancakes is definitely enough for at least 4 people, so be weary on portions. Delicious food & fast service"

"I went for happy hour, and became a huge fan. The food did not disappoint. Everyone I was with enjoyed what they ordered. The prices for happy hour are more than reasonable. The service has been top notch. I recommend happy hour. I haven't been here during other hours, but happy hour is quite generous, 3:30 to 6:30, every day they are open."
"First time back to Pace in a while, and it's even better than before. We were seated on the covered, heated patio, which was very comfortable despite the restaurant being "Saturday night busy." This was a surprise, as we came on a whim without a reservation, and were originally told we would be seated at a communal table -- but the friendly Host found us a 2-top, and we still had a nice time chatting with the people seated next to us. In addition to the great care we received from the Host, our waiter was very attentive and took very good care of us from start to finish. Something new to us, given that it's been a couple of beats since we dined at Pace, they've now gotten a full liquor license. Their cocktail list is very interesting, and I'll make my way through the options soon enough -- but this time I was in the mood for a traditional Gin martini, and they whipped up a perfect specimen, served with blue cheese olives and just the right chill. A simple appetizer of olives and pecorino was a great, light accompaniment to the cocktails and fresh baguette that came hot from the oven. For mains, my wife ordered her favorite: the cedar plank salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Garlicky and herbaceous, with a squeeze of lime, the salmon has a terrific balance of spice and citrus, making the entree somehow substantial and light at the same time. I ordered the Mamma G's Pizza, which is topped with homemade pork sausage, caramelized fennel & fresh mozzarella. The crust was light and crispy, and the toppings were packed with flavor -- the sausage was lean and meaty, and the caramelized fennel added a nice, Earthy sweetness. This is an excellent pizza that may have to move into the "appetizer for the table" slot the next time we visit with other people. Pace is a bustling and convivial place to dine, with a genial staff and fellow customers that are poised to have a good time. The atmosphere is calming despite the bustle thanks to muted lighting and a communal warmth that edges into every corner of the space. There are many lovely options on the menu, so make a plan to go soon and enjoy."
"It's always such a treat discovering little gems in Ktown, and @seoulsalon_la is definitely worth checking out! This 1920s themed retro lounge whisks you away from the busy traffic of Ktown into an intimate, romantic setting that's perfect if you want a bit more of a laid back and classy night out. Their menu features well-executed Korean fusion dishes (especially for a pocha!), such as rose tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken, and Army Stew, as well as an impressive selection of signature cocktails, sojus, and makgeolli. Service was also very friendly, attentive and efficient, even with only two employees working the floor. Definitely check them out for a date or relaxing dinner with friends! Featured here: watermelon soju yuzu tea rose tteokbokki mom's touch army stew kimchi carbonara Crab meat seafood cream pasta"
"Been here a few times - also been to the Venice location. Prefer this location as parking isn't as challenging. And meat is served here! See pics. Anyway, already started with parking. No meters. Street parking. The times I've visited, was for early dinners so parking wasn't an issue. I can't speak for later in the day or on the weekends. Good luck. Each time, I've sat at the bar. Service was excellent each time. Pretty quiet when I've been - but sitting at the bar gives you the advantage of having someone right in front of you. So, even if it was busy and packed, getting the bartender's attention would be easy. They've been attentive. Friendly and nice. As for the food - pics don't do the food justice. I like it enough to have been a few times. Food has flavor and the portion sizes are deceiving. Doesn't look like much but I've left stuffed each time. The drinks are stiff but also balanced. Not just all alcohol. I like Chulitas. The location. The vibe. The food. The Service. I'll definitely be back for more."
"We had to push back our reservation for 4 a couple times because we got tied up in a fancy store (Tiffany's) at the Caruso Signature plaza. Our server, Nick, made our entire dining experience here so memorable. It was a special dinner with the cousins and Nick took great care of us. The restaurant itself was nicely, dimly lit which set the mood for a serious and delicious meal! One of the cousins is pregnant so she wasn't able to have the Ceasar salad since it had raw egg but Nick brought us truffle bread which was unassumingly DELICIOUS. Pregnant cousin devoured that as well as her chicken plate. I enjoyed my rib eye cap prepared medium. Other cousin enjoyed her lamb chops, and other cousin enjoyed her NY strip steak prepared medium. For sides we had the mushrooms, and truffle Mac & cheese. Everything was SO GOOD! We didn't have space for dessert but I'm certain I'll be back real soon so I'll give desserts a try then. We enjoyed a couple old fashioned, and mock tails. Classy vibes and a great place for catching up with a group of family/friends. Thanks again, Nick & staff for your hard work and excellent service."
"I recently came here for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful night. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was cozy. The cocktails were delicious (try to Sassy Marguavita) and the food was delicious. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and the heirloom tomato salad was my favorite.I would recommend this place for a cute date night or dinner with close friends. My only complaint is that parking is hard to find and there is no valet at this location. My friends and I had to park at a lot a few blocks over."
""Let's do the time warp again...it's just a jump to the left and then a step to the right," right into The Well...located demurley across the street from The Hollywood Palladium...it's a great local hang for the neighborhood to grab a cocktail/food before a show. I dare you to step inside...the music, lighting, decor and vibe will pull you in and keep you there for hours. My new "happy" place in Hollywood...the bar is hopping with lots of mixers shaking, laughter, pouring and sipping. We cozied up to the bar and Kirstie made our drinks. Loved her look and her drinks were even better! All the bartenders were rockin their orders. Plenty of big leather comfy stools surrounded the entire circumference of the bar as well as leather high top booths. Vince, one of the owners, came out and introduced himself to us. He has owned The Well with his partner James since 2001. It was a private bar in the early 70's. *Metered Street parking available if you can find it. Otherwise plenty of parking lots - one located right next to The Well. *Great music which is always a plus! *prices are comparable to most bar/lounges in LA"
"We took advantage of dineLA week prix-fix 5 course for $50 per person and enjoyed the experience.- location: Ktown. Parking is a bit difficult. Street parking is limited. Parking garage is mostly for bussiness or residents. Make sure check the signs. Some garage close after 7 PM. So, you may not be able to get your car out after 7 PM.- Ambiance: very modern and spacious inside. Not what we expected from the outside appearance of the old building. - Meals: good value with DineLa deal. Otherwise, it is relatively spendy with regular menu.Kaseiki tradition menu with multiple courses.Sakizuke: assorted seasonal appetizers came with snail, chilled shrimp,, seaweeds, potatoes. Acquired taste. Probably the best thing on this plate is the gelly palate cleanser.Tsukuri: assorted sashimi. Very fresh and high quality fish. Salad. Beautiful presentation.Toban: we chosed ribeye steak and seafood on sizzling plate. Both are well cooked and seasoning, served with miso soup and pickles.Deserts: japanese panna cotta. Very light.- Service: pleasant and attentive.Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience but not sure if we will hurry back anytime soon."
"If sipping an award-winning margarita at happy hour prices so low they feel illegal isn't your vibe, then what are you even doing--paying triple for watered-down drinks at a bar where the bartender treats you like you're lucky they even looked your way ?This place has forever had the best happy hour prices in L.A.--hands down. For the cost of parking anywhere else, you can load up on happy hour-priced guac, tacos, ceviche, and nachos while sipping margaritas so good they'll ruin all other drinks for you. The chips and salsa go perfectly with those tangy margs. The vibe is perfect complete with classic lucha libre-themed decor, vintage-tiled walls, classic multicolor, string lights, and that red-orange glow for an authentic tequila-bar feel. And if you meet a stranger at the bar, don't be surprised if you end up borrowing one of the bar's many decorative Luchador masks and doing some "wrestling" later."
"Phenomenal food, phenomenal service, phenomenal atmosphere. A true hidden gem in weho. I took my mom here for a special birthday, and when I say the staff rolled out the red carpet - I truly mean it.I will certainly be a repeat diner!"

SO MUCH FUN (for football)! So my guy is LA, by way of Michigan, and is a lifelong Lions fan! They are a special bread. So when it came down to finding a bar, with a great community to watch, this bar has hands down become the spot. We're told they are a Lions bar and super Eagles friendly. They lived this when anyone in a Lions jersey got a fun/freebie shot for like their 3rd touchdown. Even though it was crowded for game time, people n fans were so courteous n kind to pack it in and share booths. Which really made the energy magnetic. Throughout the game we had enough beers to want food. It was certainly filling and hit the spot. Their beer selection also appealed to me, an IPA drinker (I rocked the Spacedust) & him, a generally lighter or British beer drinker, (he opted for the Shiner Bock). He was also pretty amped for its location to metro and some cute coffee shops nearby. We might actually come earlier next time n try for some breakfast eats.

This place is always a 5 star! The Food is always over the top in portion, flavor, and presentation. The service is always on par! My server frequently came to check to see if we were doing ok or if we needed anything. The vibes are always welcoming here with fun R&B classics playing in the background and the aroma of fresh cooked breakfast as you walk in. There is a huge parking lot in the rear of the restaurant.

Being raised in LA and not knowing about this place--I really need to get out more!Located in the canyons, this restaurant is truly hidden. You pass it all the time when driving down Laurel Canyon near the Country Mart, but what you don't see is the stairwell leading down to PACE.Upon entering, you're welcomed into a chic, warm, dimly lit, and stylish space. Reservations are a must.I was greeted warmly and escorted to my table, which was in the back by the covered patio. On the way, I walked through the restaurant and got a glimpse of the open kitchen--it was beautiful. The tables are placed close together, so be prepared for a cozy dining experience. There aren't many booths available. The service was friendly and attentive.I highly recommend trying the salmon. It was cooked perfectly--moist, flavorful, and a generous portion. I chose green beans and brown rice as my sides. The green beans were fresh, and the brown rice was fluffy and flavorful--a rare find!Another must-try is the lobster ravioli. The sauce was delicious, and the pasta tasted fresh and handmade--absolutely outstanding. For dessert, something as simple as fresh berries and cream was delightful--the berries were incredibly fresh. However, you must try the bread pudding. I'm typically not a fan, but after one bite, I was hooked. If every bread pudding tasted like this one, I'd be a fan for life.A Few Notes: * Ladies, if you're wearing heels, walk carefully down the stairs. * Valet parking is available, but the lot is very small. I'd recommend taking an Uber. * Restroom details: * There is only one women's and one men's restroom, so be prepared to wait. * There's no hook in the ladies' restroom, so if you have a jacket, keep it at your chair. You'll also need to set your purse on a shelf. However, the restroom is very clean.Dress Code:Trendy and chic.Highly, highly recommend!

If you like that industrial revolution vibe but Korean then Seoul Salon is your place to be. Come and enjoy some Korean Italian fusion and cry all over again while they play Mr. Sunshine on the TVs. Again, ambiance is real nice, feels like you're in a different world compared to the chaos of ktown right outside. The menu's not particularly huge but it's got the staples. Happy hour is maybe like $2-4 off the regular prices but hey, can't be all too bad if you come between 5-7pm. Rose tteokbokki is nice and creamy with a nice helping of fried dumplings. Can't go wrong with that ever. The brisket yuzu salad was a nice way to have more protein but feel healthy with the salad, it was actually a pretty nice addition to our meal. The crab meat seafood pasta was probably my favorite since it's got everything I love in pasta. Creamy, cheesy, crabby, seafoody. Enough said.Truffle fries are, well, truffle fries. We got these cause it was part of the happy hour menu. Don't worry, I didn't forget the drinks either. They whip up some nice cocktails so if you want to add one to your meal, it's worthwhile I'd say. This is worth a stop for at least the ambiance. The food is good but certainly not a specialty or expert in any particular dish but for ktown, it's still pretty good.

The service here was amazing! super friendly staff and the cutest ambiance! The menu was so tempting that it was hard to choose, so we decided to try a little bit of everything. I got the vodka rigatoni pasta with added burrata, and WOW. I don't usually go for pasta, but this dish completely won me over, the sauce was incredibly flavorful, creamy, and perfectly cheesy. The pasta itself was clearly handmade and high-quality.My second favorite was the carbonara. SO creamy, with the perfect touch of egg. Pure comfort. The margherita pizza was also fantastic, the dough was fresh, the crust was crisp, and while it was on the thinner side, I could've devoured a whole one myself. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, which had the perfect fudgey center, and the tiramisu, which was equally satisfying. The overall price wasn't bad considering how much we ordered. Definitely recommend everything was a hit!

"First time here this weekend. Love the ambiance and the cocktails were amazing.Bartenders were so kind."
"Our first time here on a beautiful Saturday late afternoon. We had reservations for 3:15PM. We arrived at this beautiful hotel where the restaurant is on the rooftop. The view is spectacular. It's really nice the way they have the seating because you can be sitting inside and still have a great view from your table or you can sit on the outside. It's a view of the city all the way to the mountains where you can see the Hollywood sign. The ambience of the restaurant is very colorful yet chill with its warm tones of greens and beige, and the velvet booth gave me that old Hollywood glam meets jungle vibe, if that makes sense. It's elegant yet animalistic jungle vibes with the decor . You had your golds and cremes and greens all tired well together. They also had a dj who was in the ones and twos jamming as we walked up to the hosted stand, i was already dancing lol. It was nice because the music was just loud enough for you to jam too and still have a conversation with the person across the table. The service was good. One thing i will say is that we started with one server and then he just disappeared and didn't say anything so we had to ask another server and turns out he had taken over for him, but neither one told us, so I would have to say they can work on their communication when it comes to that but that's the only flaw of the whole day. Otherwise everything was fabulous. Food was great. We had the Dante burger, which was excellent and it's their signature and it did not disappoint. The Dante Martini was the best martini I've ever had and my boyfriend thinks so as well and the whiskey sour was perfect. Overall excellent experience for our first time we will definitely be back. Oh and by the way, they had a martini cocktail hour when we arrived so we'll have to go back for that."
"Came during dine LA. Our table werent ready since we arrived early so we had some snacks and drinks at the bar. The fries were so good. Thin cut and crispy. The prime rib is the best ive had compared to other places. They had several different sizes for the prime rib but i got the normal size. I put the bread on my plate and it absorbed all the juice so i wouldnt recommend doing that. Their horse raddish also went well with the prime rib. They had one that attacked your nose and the other was subtle. heard their spinach option wasnt good so i was glad i got corn. Service was amazing. Our waiter was hilarious."
"Staff and food here were excellent. The owner came by to say hi, she is an absolute sweetheart."
"The food and atmosphere are great! My boyfriend and I love coming at least once every couple of months. They also have quick service and friendly staff."
"Newcomer Xecora has taken over La Fuente's former location. I stopped in to check it out since I used to come to the former establishment when I lived in Eagle Rock. I had a seat at the bar and requested a menu. I was a but thrown off when I received two - one for Xecora and another for La Fuente. The darling hostess explained that they were still serving the old menu and would eventually add some of the more popular dishes to the new menu. (FYI: There are two other Xecora locations - Downey & El Monte.)Bartender Gareth was delightful. He was friendly and engaging with all the patrons. He brought me warm chips & salsa before taking my order. Xecora's menu focuses on a variety of fresh seafood dishes with an emphasis on quality at an affordable price. I wanted to try something from the new menu and couldn't resist the WTF - a dish consisting of ceviche & cooked shrimp tossed in a habanero chili sauce. It was addicting and delicious with the right amount of heat!I'll admit, I wasn't a big fan of La Fuente. The food was ok, and I would mostly stop in for a drink at the bar. However, I am digging Xecora. The new menu items are an upgrade - even the chips & salsa. The service is friendly, and Gareth is a gem. I'm looking forward to a return visit. *Vegan & Vegetarian items available.*Small parking lot or street parking."
"Writing this bc who else will? The Burg is perfection. The perfect dive bar to ever exist. The perfection of what a good dive asks to be."
"I accompanied my mother for a Christmas dinner her work was hosting here! It's a small restaurant but they have quite an appetizing selection! I've never had Peruvian food before, but having Los Balcones as my first introduction to Peruvian food was amazing! I had the Lomo Saltdo and the whole dish was amazing! The meat was juicy and combined well with the rice and veggies. My mom got the arroz con mariscos and it was also super yummy! I'll also mention that the ceviche was a great appetizer as well. It really just melts in your mouth! I also truly loved the vibe of the restaurant. The decor and dim lighting was really fun to be around. The service was also great! There was a huge party of us and they were quite patient with my mom's coworkers as they were always asking for more food and drinks.Thank you for being patient with all of us! :)"
"On our first visit, we were seated right away, which was great. The restaurant is quite dark inside, and if the menus hadn't been accessible via a QR code, I would've had to use my phone's flashlight to read them. The service was average, and while the food was good, we only shared appetizers. The chicken sliders were definitely the highlight for me. However, the bill came to nearly $200 for the three of us, which felt steep, especially with canned non-alcoholic beer priced at $10. The bathrooms were outdated and only had hand dryers, which I dislike since it means touching the door afterward. With so many other options in the area, I probably wouldn't return. At least we can check this place off our list of spots to try.9/9/24"
"I've been here twice, once for a rooftop bar reception event and another time for dinner. This review is primarily for the dinner food. I got the Pan Seared King Salmon. The salmon itself is decent, super crispy skin, well seasoned. I didn't like the rest of the dish though. The sauce was not well balanced - very acidic and overwhelmingly sour. The quality of the ingredients like the broccoli and heirloom beans was good, but couldn't appreciate them because the flavor was drowned out by the acidic sauce. We were also there on an evening where it was pretty cold. They have heat lamps but out of the 4 nearby us, only 1 was functional, and they were bolted down and not movable, so half our table was freezing during the dinner. Aside from the issues with the cold and broken heat lamps, the service and atmosphere were fine, but my rating is just for the food."
"My friends and I had a lovely time here after watching a ballet at the theatre next door. Everything we had was great, including the bubbly and rosé. There was live music as well--a pianist and an opera singer who sang with such gusto and passion, it was like a double dose of theatre that night. I had the halibut, I was expecting a larger portion for the price, but it was delicious--the lemony couscous complimented the grilled fish perfectly. The ashta was the best I've ever had, I love the way it was prepared with the little rose water pouring spout. We'll definitely be back again when in the area!"
"Great spot in downtown Culver City to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. The menu is quite expansive - some French, some American, some Asian focused dishes. It's always fun to order different types of dishes to share with your table mates. At the top of my list are the liver pate, escargot, charcuterie boards. But my all time favorite is the hot fudge sundae Great service."
"Came here for lunch but unknowingly didn't realize the vast difference in menu items as lunch is more pizza heavy (& sandwich) than other dishes. We were seated on the rooftop which was nice and there are space heaters for the colder days. The aesthetic is really nice with earthy tones and wood doors and panels. As you're walking up, you'll see on the 2nd floor bar area the ceiling hanging of dried figs which was beautiful but also brought out this pleasant smell to the room. We ordered:+ Japanese Sweet Potato, Jalapeño Yogurt, Scallion - our favorite dish with nicely panfried potatoes and the jalapeno yogurt was a nice pairing to give a sweet and savory palette. + Beef Tartare, Sourdough, Dijon Mustard, Caper, Shallot - served on top of a toasty bread that was the perfect thickness so the ratio of tartare to bread was great. + Pizza Anchovy, Nardello Pepper, Cherry Tomato, Burrata, Caper, Parmesan - the ingredients read like a flavor explosion but it was pretty muted. The wood fired pizza crust and texture was great though and I really liked the lemon zest on top.+ House Made Pickled Vegetables - would skip as it's nothing special and quite a small portion so not really shareable. + Braised Pork Meatball, Tomato Sauce, Parmesan, Sourdough Toast - I would potentially skip this if you're not obsessed with meatballs. My friends raved about the pasta during the dinner so I will need to make another visit for that!"
"Food was absolutely incredible. The quesadilla and shrimp fried tacos were top notch. Such a medley of flavors that all worked in perfect harmony. The tres leches cake, omg get out. It had a passion fruit drizzle, graham cracker bottom, served with coconut cream and candied walnuts. Like what!? Who is the chef here? Because Jesus Christ this food was so well thought out. Service could have been better, but the food was so yummy I still give them a 5. Ambiance is super elegant and upbeat. Lots of plants and simple white lights. I sent my compliments to the manager because I was just blown away."
"Had a Birthday celebration for my Daughter this past weekend. We had a large party of over 20 people .The entire group loved the food from appetizers to main course. We did have a issue with seating at the beginning because of the number of people but everything worked out .I would like to give a big Thanks to the entire staffFor the excellent service provided ."
"I quite like this place! Good food, nice service, quirky decor. Pretty good cheeseburger. Great Caesar salad. Nice mocktails. You probably won't get any internet connection in there, so ask for their Wi-Fi info. Parking a bit difficult."
"Nice contemporary bar. Great for sports, we came early and got breakfast burritos which was way better than it had any right to be. Lots of space and even a backyard patio. Average priced. Recommend"
"WeHo Bistro is a gem nestled in a great area, and I'm so glad we chose it for our gathering! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The outdoor patio is absolutely adorable--a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The interior design and décor were also classy and inviting, giving the place a sophisticated yet cozy vibe.We were a larger party, and I truly appreciated how accommodating they were, even offering to do separate checks without hesitation--a huge plus for group outings. The food was delicious, but the star of the show was definitely the mac and cheese--it was beyond amazing! Comfort food taken to a whole new level. To top it all off, Jeff, the owner, came out personally to check on us. That special touch made us feel so welcome and cared for.I can't recommend WeHo Bistro enough. It's a place I'll definitely return to and bring friends along for the experience."
"Loved the drinks and atmosphere. Tuesdays are super fun with karaoke. It's a great place to hang out with friends."
"Stopped in to get a drink while our girls danced at the playground. Pizza's smell delicious. Look delicious and are delicious. I asked the bartender to make me anything and the be creative. He got me this awesome tiki drink and it was delicious. The patio area is nice, the inside is nice. We sat at the bar. The restaurant had a cool hipster type vibe an upscale pizza place if you will, a few of the regulars also complimented on how amazing the pizza is at this place! Definitely worth checking out if your in LA and have a small time frame."
"Stopped in for tacos on a Tuesday and was pleased to see a full bar. I ordered 3 tacos to go and enjoyed a couple of margaritas while I waited. The bartender recommended the spicy mango, it was so delicious and the cucumber mint , very refreshing. The bar service was great, each margarita made to order and you can take them to go. Spanish music in the background, some in seating on one side and the bar on the other. The tacos were good. The chicken birria was my favorite."
"Great location. Very cool vibe. The ambiance is baller. We ordered the hummus; perfect light snack. Definitely will come back!"
"Delicious, quality, curated food. The interior and ambiance is comfortable and trendy! Been here a few times and never had a bad experience which goes to show for their consistency!"
