The deliciously seasoned chicken wings arrived piping hot just the way we like it. I added a little hot sauce and suddenly I thought I was in Florence, SC. and my auntie was in that kitchen. We ordered the oxtail plate with white rice, extra gravy...wanted all white rice but still got rice and peas and cabbage...that was OK, though cause it tasted awesome. Also ordered the jerk chicken plate. Mouth still watering...mac and cheese was BOMB and the cabbage is sooooo goooood. Portions were on point, flavor was savory and delicious! "Read about this online, and thought it might be fun to try something new. My husband is a bit of a pizza fanatic, so was glad he was game too.It's pretty minimalist inside, a few tables (3 booths + a few tables) & a walk up counter. They have a case with pizza you can order by the slice, which they pull and heat up while you wait. While it's pretty much a self service restaurant, they do bring your food to your table if you dine in, which is a nice touch. Wish they had pepper flakes & dried oregano on the tables, but it is what it is. They offer fountain sodas, Mexican coke and bottled water to drink - no alcohol. We ordered a couple of slices, garlic knots, and a pizza to go. Where they really lost me, and a few stars, was on their customer service - or really lack thereof! We placed our order, and we were not given an itemized receipt and had to ask multiple times for one....maybe it's because of the 4% credit card processing fee they charge you, which they don't tell you about AND is not posted anywhere. I get it, businesses need to cover their expenses, but we dropped almost $60 for food AND added a tip, it would be nice to be told! The pizza was decent, not my favorite and not my husbands either. The garlic knots were to die for, but serving these with cold marinara was also a miss for me! Glad we tried it, but not sure we will be back!"

They got all sorts of toppings, all sorts of combinations, and all sorts of pizza sizes (like 5 different ones I think). They even have a cheeseburger-inspired pizza with fries, beef, and extra cheese on it that my friend enjoyed and got really full from. I wasn't feeling too adventurous and wanted to save some money, so I got the usual Hawaiian pizza, "personal" pizza size. If you're hungry, a personal size will do for you. Crust and breading wasn't outstanding, but I enjoyed consumption :)"

"What a great place to stumble upon right before our Sofi stadium visit. This review is long overdue! Parking can be a bit busy in front of the restaurant so we opted to park in free parking on the side of the street. The ambiance of the place was very lively and busy with a line almost out the door. There's some eating areas inside but it's very limited. They do have tv's with sports playing which is a plus. The owner of this establish is very personable and you can tell he truly cares about his customers and the love of cooking is shown through him.Wings were absolutely delicious! We also opted for the baked potato so so delicious and good value for what you pay for. Check this place out!!"

"My friends and I ate at Puradak over the weekend and loved it. My only criticism is the staff isn't familiar with the menu. It was our first time in and they weren't able to explain anything to us. For example, they offer Cream Cheese Balls & Black Balls of which my friend asked the difference between them. They couldn't figure it out and went back to the kitchen for a few minutes to discuss. It was bizzare with three people working the register that no one knew the menu, but I guess that's the vibe here.That being said, the food was all very good. They have a bunch of seating inside so once you order with the staff or on the touchscreen by the door, you can grab a table to dine at.There are so many Korean fried chicken spots popping up but Puradak is a little interesting because they have a bunch of more unique flavors and styles. The chicken itself was very plump in the boneless wings, juicy insides, nice and crisp outsides as it should be. We tried the Chili Mayo which had a pretty good taste to it but the after spice killed my mouth a bit. I'm a weak white girl lol. I absolutely loved the perfect flavor in the Sweet & Spicy though, couldn't get enough of it.Absolutely loved the cream cheese balls and the Black Cheese Balls. Both were unique and tasty, absolutely would get both again thought the black cheese balls slightly edged out the others in terms of taste for me. Their fries are unremarkable but we added the $1 corn seasoning on the fries which made them magnificent. All the wings came with fries which was nice.Overall, they need better trained staff but the food here is great!"

"It's a YES. Absolutely yes. Get your order in now! I've been wanting to try Gorilla Pies for a while now, and when it first opened the wait times for pick up were pretty gnarly so I decided to hold off. I recently ordered for pick up on a weeknight and was told our order would be ready in 20 mins! The shop is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. You can't miss the sign out front so it's easy to find! We ordered The Basic Benny and The Green Monster. I don't even know which one I liked more because they were both so amazing. Honestly all of their pies sounded so unique and looked delicious it was hard to pick. But it all comes down to the crust. The crust under the cheese and sauce is thin, but holds up when you pick it up. I think it's even better if you fold it in half and eat it pizza/taco style. The crust at the end, is puffy and bready, but has a nice crisp to the edges. You get the best of both worlds (thick and thin crust fans). I don't discriminate when it comes to pizza crust (hello, it's bread and bread is delicious), but Gorilla Pies has got it down to an art! The Basic Benny blew me away. We added the spicy sauce to it and it was perfection. I love the fresh basil and the salty sopressata. The spicy level was on point. It hits your mouth and gives you a little zing, but doesn't leave your mouth on fire. The Green Monster was delicious. The pesto, the mushrooms...*chefs kiss*. It's a veg pizza, but it tastes so rich and is full of umami. I actually thought there was meat on it until I looked at the ingredients! Never underestimate a shiitake mushroom. The next time I am looking to order some Za for a party (or heck, even a night on the couch), I will definitely be calling Gorilla Pies. This is pizza that will surely impress!"

"Better pound is really good. I actually got the wings that weren't really on the menu as they are a special item right now and that's the honey garlic bbq wings I believe. They're on the back of the menu. Bomb wings can't lie love the batter and how their chicken is made sauces are good they can give a lot of places a run for their money. But! Maaaaan they have to stop being skimpy on the fries man. I mean come on you spend $18 on fries and four wings no drinks and i paid 2 more bucks for their sauces. lol I had sauce left because I didn't have enough fries. I've patronized this place about three times in less than a month so clearly I like their food but show some love on the fries and give a bit more. This is the best pad Thai I have ever had in my life. The garlic noodles were perfectly garlic'd. We also ordered the curry fries. They are krinkle cut so you can't go wrong with those.
