"Came here for dinner, on a Saturday evening in late February 2025 via car, with another couple. Parking was easy and free in this huge plaza. You go inside and order at the front but because it was busy, they decided to take our order outside by our table. The service was excellent - you can tell every member of the staff cared about the quality of the food that's being served. The food was very good. My partner ordered the Lang Saeb Chicken, which was exactly how it would taste if you ordered it in Thailand. The skin was still crispy. That sauce was to die for! We even asked for more of the sauce to dip everything else in. I ordered the Spicy Carbonara Topoki, which was very good. It was, in my opinion, how every carbonara should be. The rice cakes were cooked perfectly. My friends ordered the 12-piece chicken - half Gim Ballad & half Honey Luv Rap. They said they liked both. The deep fried batter on the Gim Ballad was out of this world. They got it so crunchy!"

"I've been to Kismet and I've worked in Burbank, but never had the pleasure of take-out chicken from Kismet Rotisserie until last week, when I bopped in for a quick office lunch. I plan to be in the area often this summer, and I'll be repeating this exact meal whenever I get the chance.I didn't even order my own lunch--it was waiting for me when I arrived, an absolute gift. It was a quarter chicken plate, the chicken accompanied by hummus, wedge salad, pickles, pita, chili oil, and garlic sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, even more so with a dip in the chili oil and garlic sauce, and I loved the tangy pickles. The wedge salad was light and pleasant, with crisp lettuce, radishes, and miso poppy dressing, and I enjoyed the hummus. I also got some of the schmaltzy potatoes, an excellent side, fried beautifully brown and tender in chicken fat.I might visit Kismet Rotisserie in person one day, but I know I'll get it to go again. I have a pretty good sense of the take-out power rankings in Burbank, and this place is right at the top of the list."

You would expect the bread to be warm if you pick up right when they have the order ready but it's apparent they just throw in cold bread for takeout. The rotisserie chicken itself was a little gamey with no flavor or spices. The most disappointing part of it all was the sweet curry cauliflower. There were barely two bits of cauliflower and it was basically a raisin salad. We were thoroughly confused why this cost $2 more than the regular side with the chicken package. I wish I got a picture of it. The kids did not like this meal at all..."

In a world where quality seems to diminish over time, RoRo's has stood the testament of time and is still one of my favorite hole in the wall spots to eat at in Hollywood. The service is very friendly and the food is very tasty! Don't forget the garlic sauce! A great addition to any meal. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma plate. It comes with pita bread and they will heat up the pita for you if you ask. The hummus is amazing and I love making my own little pita pockets out of the ingredients on the plate. I am sure your first impression would be, what, I side a gas station? Yes, this was my first impression when I stopped by at a gas station on my way to Fresno, and I did not buy. But a few days later, in Valencia, I stopped at Chevron to fill up with gas, and they had a counter for Krisoy krunchy.The chicken looked delecious, and I bought one strip and one breast just to try them out. WOW! I was really shocked how juicy and tasty, better than Popeyes Chicken. I told my wife about it, and I was in Santa Monica, and I found a Chinese restaurant on Marin Del Rey that had a counter for Krispy Krunchy. I ordered a family bucket for 34.99, 12 mixed pieces, 6 strips, 6 dekeciius biscuits, and French fries. I was crunchy, fresh, and very tasty. Also, I ordered Large Jambalaya, and 9 pieces of coconut shrimps and tgey were awesome as well.Try them if you find them, Google Krispy Krunchy Chicken, to find a location. BTW, the Chinese lady who helped me was very nice and kind."

"When I saw this place on Yelp, I really wanted to try it because it looked really authentic, but I was skeptic because it was in LA and it seemed to cheap for authentic Thai food. Like finding pad thai for 15 at a lot of places is already a steal, how can they be serving this much meat for 15?The restaurant is small and cozy with really attentive servers. It also has a small parking lot they share with the motel behind it which made parking so easy. My friend and I ordered the zaab pork belly with mixed organs added on and the half fried chicken & pork belly. When the food came out, I was instantly overtaken with my memories of when I had the privilege of eating with some friends I made at a university food court in Udon Thani, Thailand. It just looked so good and so authentic. Zaab pork belly (5/5): this was a bit different than I remember in Thailand but it was delicious nonetheless. I got this because the acidity of the sauce with the sharpness of the onions with the crispy was of the fried pork belly is a crazy combination. I added on the mixed organs for $1 which was because I needed some extra protein and it was surprisingly really good. You could tell the liver, heart, and gizzard were all really fresh and it didn't have any smell to it. The portion size was pretty big and i definitely left full. I will admit I over estimated myself with my spice tolerance and got it spicy... which I will get medium next time. Fried chicken and fried pork belly (5/5): a lot of meat, very crispy, and tasted really clean. You could tell it was made with great ingredients and that they take care of their oil. Came with 2 sauces and went great with both chicken and pork."

"Found out about this location a few months ago on a trip with friends down to Pasadena. Was really surprised to see they opened up a second location in the area, but really happy about it because I don't like braving the drive and wait time at the Chinatown location.I'd say the wait here is comparable to the Chinatown location, if not marginally better. They have a pretty limited parking lot considering how many people actually come here to eat, but I appreciate that they have a dedicated lot at all versus the Chinatown location where you default just have to pay for parking. Here, if the lot is full, you can find free street parking pretty quick nearby.Is the wait still worth it for the food? Yes. YESSSS. This place is my favorite hot chicken sandwich place ever. There's no contest. The wait can get kind of ridiculous, so do try to either come with friends or come during off hours. I got The Sando and fries both times. The Sando is pretty much perfect. My husband got The Sando 2.0, but...I don't like all the additional toppings, I think it distracts and detracts from the perfection of the spicy chicken flavor, to be honest. And my husband agreed with me. Their fries are really good too! Great crispy crunch and a nice, fluffy inside. Good spice as well.Also, medium is like a hot at other places. Their hot is like HOT. My husband keeps getting hot every time and underestimating how hot their hot actually is lol. I made the mistake with my group by just sitting down at a table on our first visit, and have seen many parties do the same on my first and second visit.Will definitely be back!! "I was literally seconds away from never having had their chicken at all because my friend and I were just about to walk out when the hostess finally came to take our order. I mean it was as if there was no basic customer service training whatsoever. Let me break it down. We wal in around 8:30pm or so and stand at the entrance. The place is empty save for a family in one corner, a group of way over dressed girls in another and a few folks at the bar. We stood there for so long without any acknowledgment that my friend finally approached the hostess, who clearly saw us waiting, to ask if we could be seated. After looking confused and having a side bar with the bartender she then told us to sit wherever we liked. Why couldn't she communicate that 20 minutes prior? Why just ignore us. Should have left then but we look at each other and just shake our heads. But once we sat and were given the menu she disappeared and we waited some more. That's when we decided we had enough. Just as I was about to push up off that banquette seat she came chirping over with her pen and paper. The menu is typical soul food and way overpriced but it's on the Hollywood strip so there's that. We settled on the wing dinner. Apparently there's a difference between a "dinner" and a "platter" but I still don't know what that is. What I do know is shorty was just going to give us the wings and fries until we pointed out to her that the menu said the dinner included a side of greens, macaroni or potato salad. They were out of greens though of course. The chicken came out piping hot and I admit it was good and tasty but not a napkin or utensil in sight. We asked but neither materialized. I had to snatch a few cocktail napkins from the bar. She had to be pinned down on the forks, how else were we supposed to eat the side...oops..excuse me...the sample. The container was the size of a dipping sauce. You can try them if you want to. I heard there's another location but the chicken wasn't worth the hassle."

I got a text saying to come on over cuz we were now 4thWe get to the restaurant and there's a crowd outside. It was drizzling and super cold. I popped inside to say I had received the text and was told to go outside. After another 10 minutes and not moving on the wait list we decided to wait in the car til we got closer. The 6:20-6:35 seating time had come and gone but we were still #4.It updated to #2 so we go back to the entrance. I hear all these parties being called inside and they're stating the group's order before seating them.I asked the host what to do since it says we're #2. THIS is when I'm finally told that we were supposed to have placed our order earlier. She already called our name. WTH?!!!! So when I initially said I got the text, why didn't she tell me that she would take my order, etc?!!!!!!So we were finally seated close to 7pm. The giant Katsu is really good. I don't understand why you have a ton of chicken and then only one tiny scoop of rice and a small portion of curry. I guess I'm supposed to order refills driving up the already $27 price tag even higher? Ok that's fine. $2 side of rice. But the really off putting dish was the corn cheese. I was soooo excited to try theirs. Can someone please explain why there's so much sugar?!! Even the server said they don't know why they have a lot of sugar. I really wanted to eat it. But w each bite it got even worse. The server took it away but didn't remove it from the bill, which is so funny to me. I asked the manager to remove it and she asked what was wrong w it. And I had to explain that I've had plenty of corn cheese in my life and none has been so overloaded w sugar like this. If I had known sugar was the main ingredient I wouldn't have ordered it. Thankfully, she took it off the bill. I'm glad I checked them out. But, we won't be returning. There are so many other better options in cerritos and without the long wait."

"My BF found this good little chicken spot on IG and we decided to come check it out. Do you see how BIG that chicken sandwich is?! There's big screen TVs inside, perfect to watch the games.They are known for their chicken strips and various dips, so we had to give that a try. The chicken strips were cooked and seasoned to perfection! They have a variety of flavored lemonade, and I got the hibiscus lemonade which was really good. For my entree I got the breakfast sampler since I wanted to try a little bit of everything. It came with sooo much food; waffles, potatoes, eggs, grits and the choice of a protein (I chose a hot link). The option for a hot link alone won me over. We went with the regular yup dukk extra mild and let me tell you... the extra mild still has a kick to it! I love spicy food and it gets my nose runny lol but it's so good! The flavor is there, it's spicy but not too spicy that you lose your tastebuds. We added sausages and dumplings into ours. We also got the spam mayo rice. It comes in a bowl and they give you gloves to mix it all in and you can make it into little rice balls. I definitely recommend coming here to give it a try, but come during low busy times like lunch time on the weekdays or early on weekends as it does get very busy!! The space inside is small not too much available seating and parking is also a hassle at times. But it's a nice place and the staff was nice as well. Not so loud but also not too quiet."

Traffic getting out of the parking lot was another story. Upon walking in you will be asked the number of people in your party and be seated. It has a family restaurant and fast food dine in atmosphere. The is a wait staff that takes your order and brings you your food. On the tables there are jams, sugars, and hot sauce to ready your meal. The food here is pretty pricey. A plate of chicken and waffles already start at over $20. However it's pretty big portions. The chicken here is decent pretty moist for being fried. The waffles are big with hints of cinnamon and not really sweet, so pour that syrup and spread that creamy butter. I made the mistake thinking that smothered potatoes was mashed potatoes but it was not. It's like boiled potato chunks slathered in a ton of gravy. The interesting thing is that you pay when you leave. The waiter will give you the bill, but won't take your payment. You pay at the entrance. It's strange because people can just dine and dash out the door. Overall decent place, good late night eatery. It's on the pricey end though."
