"Originally came for tres leches but they didn't have so got the truffle flan and it was really good! We Ended up getting a chicken empanada too and it was fire definitely coming back. Very cute and clean on the inside. The man working the front was very nice and helpful. They also take ebt. Open 9am-9pm but on Friday and Saturday they stay open till 2am!"
"This place is a hit or miss. The staff is kind of rude it I guess that's just their culture. Calling in an order takes a very long time."

"Came in on a Friday morning & got seated immediately, weekends can be a long wait though. Ordered the hear me roar pancakes, bacon & potatoes sides. I think one order of pancakes is definitely enough for at least 4 people, so be weary on portions. Delicious food & fast service"
"My friends and I finished the Hollywood sign hike and wanted to get brunch afterwards. We found this cafe tucked in the neighborhood. We got seated right away but it got packed later on. I got the beach wood egg scramble with potatoes. The scramble came with spicy sausage and cheese. I also liked that it came with a scoop of guac, sour cream, and pico de gallo on the side. Food was simple but really delicious The portion was big. I thought I wasn't going to get full but I did!"
"It's all about the cardamom bun here which is only served during weekends.. I feel like a kid again when I unravel the layers similar to that of cinnamon rolls. I look forward to coming here on the weekends because they up their pastry menu with added items. What I like about this bake shop and restaurant is the quality of ingredients using locally sourced heirloom grains. I can taste the difference with some of their pastries having whole wheat. They're also known for their artisanal breads which are served with some of their breakfast items. The pork breakfast burrito wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla is delicious. Comes with pork shoulder slow cooked in red chili, soft scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheddar, salsa, and hominy. What I order regularly is the short rib hash. Tasty braised beef in it's au jus and potatoes. Topped with two sunny side up eggs and green salsa verde. Served with whole wheat sourdough toast which is great dipping in that au jus. All the other pastries are great tasting and made with seasonal fruit. This last summer, I was lucky enough to try their seasonal peach pastries; brioche, kouign amann, puff pastries, Danish, hand pie, etc. The pain d'amade is similar to that of a brioche but with almond paste in the middle, sliced like a pie, and topped with powdered sugar. Again, you can taste the quality of the wheat. I believe this is only served during weekends. A great treat if you're into almond filling type pastries. Infatuation LA rated their croissants as best in LA. Honestly, I think the croissants are good but there is a lot of competition in LA and better ones out there. I love "mostly" everything else here."
"Been here a few times - also been to the Venice location. Prefer this location as parking isn't as challenging. And meat is served here! See pics. Anyway, already started with parking. No meters. Street parking. The times I've visited, was for early dinners so parking wasn't an issue. I can't speak for later in the day or on the weekends. Good luck. Each time, I've sat at the bar. Service was excellent each time. Pretty quiet when I've been - but sitting at the bar gives you the advantage of having someone right in front of you. So, even if it was busy and packed, getting the bartender's attention would be easy. They've been attentive. Friendly and nice. As for the food - pics don't do the food justice. I like it enough to have been a few times. Food has flavor and the portion sizes are deceiving. Doesn't look like much but I've left stuffed each time. The drinks are stiff but also balanced. Not just all alcohol. I like Chulitas. The location. The vibe. The food. The Service. I'll definitely be back for more."
"Videre is a restaurant on the 6th floor of the Kimpton Hotel. The food is reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. The burgers were moist and tasty. The view is beautiful"
"Delicious food with plenty of street parking nearby. It can get busy on weekends so I recommend to arrive early."
"I could've swore I left my review for this place. Stopped here after going to Griffith Park for an early afternoon brunch. The first thing I have to say is the service was outstanding! Everybody was extremely friendly, the wife had a pot pie that she thoroughly enjoyed. I had some type of rice crispy encrusted French toast. I have to tell you it was amazing. I wish this place wasn't so stinking far away from my home as I can't get the amazing taste out of my mind. If you are in the area, I highly recommend that you stop by. While it was a little early for me to have a drink, it appeared there bar had a full selection of anything you could've wanted. The ambience of the place is also quite unique. The only thing that is tough is the parking. But that can be expected in the LA area."
"Good food and good staff My favorite place! ...I love eat breakfast with family every Sunday"
"This Benny's location has become my favorite. I love their food and the service and quality are top-notch Benny's. I think some of their locations can get "too big/busy" and you can catch a subpar meal sometimes. This location is consistently excellent, whether taking out or eating in - which I recommend/prefer. Francisca is an awesome greeter/server and the cooks are at the top of their game. Hot, fresh, and delicious. So glad to have them in the neighborhood - but this place is also totally worth a drive."
"My new favorite place !Excellent food. Friendly staffAmbience is perfection... Chicken Marsala with pasta was amazing."

This is some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while! I ordered takeout and got a bit of everything: two crunchy chicken tacos, chicken enchiladas in green sauce, and a churro. Everything was absolutely delicious and still tasted fresh even after a ~15 minute drive. It was ready pretty quickly, too. I saw nothing but good reviews which, honestly, I'm usually a little skeptical of--but this place is definitely worth it. I was really happy with everything I ordered and I feel like that's pretty rare. I will absolutely be ordering again the next time I'm craving Mexican food.

This place is always a 5 star! The Food is always over the top in portion, flavor, and presentation. The service is always on par! My server frequently came to check to see if we were doing ok or if we needed anything. The vibes are always welcoming here with fun R&B classics playing in the background and the aroma of fresh cooked breakfast as you walk in. There is a huge parking lot in the rear of the restaurant.

If you've been looking for the perfect summer rooftop pool bar, @viderela at @hotelwilshire is definitely my pick! This brand new rooftop restaurant features a pristine pool, plenty of cabana-style seating, and unparalleled 360 views of the LA skyline (including the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory). Beyond the views, their menu specializes in delicious and well-executed Californian style cuisine, as well as uniquely crafted cocktails such as these espresso martinis, which feature notes of Parmesan and orange creamsicle. I came here for their brunch, but I'll definitely be back at night to check out their dinner time menu and nighttime views. Definitely check out this hidden gem before all of IG/TikTok finds out about this beautiful rooftop oasis! Featured here: steak mash * seared prawns * French toast Strauss organic yogurt parfait miracle mile burger * Super espresso martini bros, Coffee & dreamsicle

"My friends live by here and wanted to stop by for a quick lunch. When you walk in, you get this cafe/diner feel to it but with a more modern and welcoming look to it. I love the open kitchen where you can see them prepping the food.I tried the Chicken Battuta Panino and it was prepared really well. The chicken breast was moist, the avocado gave it a nice creamy texture, the crispiness from the bacon gave it a nice texture without overpowering it, and the ciabatta was light enough to hold it together. I tried some of my other friends' food and it had the same style to it. We liked this place so much that we can back the next day to try some more of their food. I tried the Hanger Steak Piadina and it also did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to a nice medium, it broke apart on every bite, not leaving pieces meatless areas in the panino and the simple flavors of the argula and cherry tomatoes were complementing. The food didn't taste heavy and was very well prepared. The staff is all super friendly and they even remembered us from the previous day. The food did not take long to come out either. Seating is limited here with maybe 10 seats inside, a front and rear patio. This place is fairly new, so I can only see it getting busier as it gains popularity. i'll be back here for more when I come visit my friends."
"Cute French Cafe with delicious pastries, that's perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. They've been open for 25+ years, and it has a super chill vibe overall. Workers are friendly and accommodating. Menu items are priced reasonable and offer a lot of options. Iced coffee was great alongside the banana cream tart dessert. One of the best I've had. I ordered the lox bagel which was delicious however, it doesn't come presentable like in my photo. (I styled it that way) I personally had to spread my own cream cheese (from packets) and ask for capers on the side because they forgot them. At least the smoked salmon was a good amount. I think the DIY aspect justified the lower cost of it and it was tasty. BONUS: They are dog friendly!"
"This was my first time here and I will be back. I have been meaning to come for a while. As a Inglewood resident, I try to support the local businesses. The food was great. Large portions... I couldn't finish my food. We came for breakfast. The catfish and grits were spot on. My husband and fried chicken and eggs with a side of pancakes. He loved the pancakes!!! The staff was nice and they were playing our favorite old school R&B music."
"The vibe and the food here are really good. I made a reservation today at 11:15 and got there a bit early. The server sat me down promptly and placed a reserved sign on the table, which made me feel special. Ordering was easy enough: the menus are in the front of the cafe and you order there before you sit down with your number. I got the shakshuka with grilled sourdough and the elderberry hibiscus. I really liked the sourdough bread that came with the shakshuka. It tasted really fresh and homemade, and it paired well with the tomatoey, eggy and cheesy shakshuka. I also liked that the tea was not sweet at all and appreciated that I could actually taste the floweriness of it. The ambience in the cafe was good too. Overall, my experience here was great. I would definitely like to go back and try the other foods they have there, as well as their coffee.PS. I think option 3 to get to the restaurant on their map is the best. Its free parking for 2 hours, and the restaurant is literally right across the street from the structure. You just have to make sure you leave the structure on the correct side."
"Always delicious and fresh. Great customer service. Looking forward to trying all the different items on the menu."
"Staff and food here were excellent. The owner came by to say hi, she is an absolute sweetheart."
"A small little French bakery spot located in what I want to say is the East Hollywood area. They have a pretty simple and straightforward menu with not too many items but they do specialize in some French baked goods as well as French style sandwiches. It should be noted that they have some sides and salads as well as well as a pretty good selection of breakfast beverages. The folks here are very friendly and I want to say they are legit French if my ear for accents is anything. There's a window that you walk up to and order and you wait for your food after. There's some seating on the side and a few benches out front to sit, but this place feels more conducive for takeout.I ordered the jambon beurre and it was such a tasty sandwich. The baguette is firm and has a great bite to it and the French butter is so creamy. The ham was of high quality and also very tasty. There are some pickles on top to give it a little bit of acid. They really do this French staple really well. I ordered the pink praline latte as well and it was such a great and tasty coffee drink. The street where it's located is kind of busy so parking could get a little hectic, but I was able to find parking along one of the side streets in the residential area."
"Step back in time and come to a warm, fast, homey diner in Toluca Lake. Paty's is the place to be to relax, eat, drink coffee, have some pie, watch the world go by on the patio, and be with family and friends.Photos of celebrity line the walls. Emily was our server and she was fantastic. Quick, efficient, and extremely sweet. Paty's has everything: two egg breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, quesadillas, pie, meatloaf, you name it.You won't find better pie at a gourmet bakery than you will here. The patio is super dog friendly too! Come on down and enjoy. I love it here. It's a nice place to come for some slow living with fast service."
"Excellent service, views and dining experience. Came for a business dinner with a colleague and we thoroughly enjoyed our time after a hard few days of work. We were also guests at the hotel so reservations were easy and started with happy hour which had a small selection of drinks but were priced well for the ambiance. Our server MICHAEL was incredibly knowledgable and answered all of our questions, made wine recommendations and overall provided a lovely complement to the evening. The visit from Executive Sous Chef MANUEL who served our wagyu steak, torched table side was the icing on the steak (ha,ha). Highly recommend for a business dinner or special occasion."
"Newcomer Xecora has taken over La Fuente's former location. I stopped in to check it out since I used to come to the former establishment when I lived in Eagle Rock. I had a seat at the bar and requested a menu. I was a but thrown off when I received two - one for Xecora and another for La Fuente. The darling hostess explained that they were still serving the old menu and would eventually add some of the more popular dishes to the new menu. (FYI: There are two other Xecora locations - Downey & El Monte.)Bartender Gareth was delightful. He was friendly and engaging with all the patrons. He brought me warm chips & salsa before taking my order. Xecora's menu focuses on a variety of fresh seafood dishes with an emphasis on quality at an affordable price. I wanted to try something from the new menu and couldn't resist the WTF - a dish consisting of ceviche & cooked shrimp tossed in a habanero chili sauce. It was addicting and delicious with the right amount of heat!I'll admit, I wasn't a big fan of La Fuente. The food was ok, and I would mostly stop in for a drink at the bar. However, I am digging Xecora. The new menu items are an upgrade - even the chips & salsa. The service is friendly, and Gareth is a gem. I'm looking forward to a return visit. *Vegan & Vegetarian items available.*Small parking lot or street parking."
"Perfect on-the-go breakfast spot. A few neighbors and I ordered a different muffins to try before our game night and they were all so delicious! I love their Sausage redemption with hash browns and a side of Karma Coffee"
"Delicious lunch and very fast service. Enjoyed the chicken and salad plate. I got take out but the restaurant looked very new and clean! Would definitely eat here again!"
"I have brought several coffee heads here and without fail they sing the praises of the quality of the coffee itself here - not the fancy delicious drinks they have but the actual espresso itself. The vibes are really cozy and even though it's always busy it never feels overwhelming or too loud, just lots of people working and enjoying the space. They also have DELICIOUS baked goods and bagel sandwiches. Not to mention the folks that work there are always really nice and quick to get orders out no matter how busy they are. Big fan!The parking lot here can be a nightmare and is often converted to a valet lot so you're better off looking across Vermont for a street spot near the apartment complexes and walking over."
"Amazing! Surprised! In a good way! I'm not going to lie. I was a bit skeptical about this place since they offered Asian foods but appeared to be very Americanized with even non Asian workers/kitchen staff! They are a bit more modern like a sit down coffee shop. I am so glad I tried this place out! They have tiny tables inside and outside on a patio for sit down service but I ordered for to-go. The staff were really nice although busy.Everything on their menu sounded amazing! But I opted for:*Old Skool banh mi - I was thinking it was going to be lacking in flavor and be Americanized especially after seeing the staff. Boy was I wrong! It was fully loaded and tasted sooo authentic! I don't remember reading if there was pate on the sandwich but it did include it and I was so happy! It was heavily greased with their mayo which was so amazing! It came with all the cold cut meats with a heaping of carrots and daikon! Amazing and honestly better than some actual Vietnamese shops.*Ribeye banh mi - omgggg melt in your mouth ribeye! It was so tender and had flavor! I wasn't expecting the ribeye meat to be flavored so good! It complimented all the banh mi veggies so nicely. This is a must try!*Lincoln burger - my son murked this. He said it was good with the sauce and grilled onions.*Chimichurri sandwich - this was my son's order as well and he said it was good. He also got a strawberry banana smoothie.Amazing and must try spot!"
"It worked! Good food and service fun Beverly Hills place toStop and get food!I'd doIt again!!"
"honestly this food is made with so much love and care. it felt so loving even being in the space and i appreciate supporting a family business. ALSO the vegan BLT was FIRE!!!!!!"
"I came with a friend yesterday. The waiter we had is a man of few words. When I asked him about the pies he just pointed me to the board and said "they're over there" pointing to a glass cabinet behind the counter. I am someone that likes to see what looks appetizing and they wee too far to see. Knowing I didn't want a refrigerator pie. I ordered what I thought was a baked pie the Key lime and coconut. The slice came and it didn't taste good. It's was a hyper sweet and not citrusy refrigerator pie. I ate about half of it and felt nauseous for ay two hour after. My friend ordered a tuna sandwich. The tomato's were under ripe and the bread was dry and tasteless. The tuna was good but everything else was terrible. For two coffees, one stale tuna sandwich and a terrible slice of pie we pad $35 plus tip. The waiter never came to check on us. To ask if we needed anything or how the food was. I've been there before and had good. Nice, chatty, happy to answer questions and make suggestions servers. The way good old fashioned American dinner service should be. Frankly a pie from a grocery store would have been more enjoyable.Adding that I was here a few months ago for breakfast and they serve their pancakes cold and with their own syrup that they make which tastes like watered down molasses. It's terrible. Cheap pancake syrup from Smart & Final would be much better."
"If there's a server hall of fame, Lucy's in it. Between her genuinely friendly and caring above-and-beyond service and the quality of food, this location feels less like a chain restaurant and more like your favorite neighborhood diner. The pancakes: perfection. Always fluffy and light yet thick and substantial. Somehow you don't feel weighed down at all after eating them, unlike most other hot cakes Hash browns: crisped up nicely, a finishing touch you don't always get with starchy piles at other breakfast spots Cobb salad is great, but hot tip: hold the turkey and order some chicken fingers and chop them up. The first time we heard they had gumbo soup we were a little wary, but lo and behold, it's actually really good. Proof they can make just about anything here. They're really consistent, reliable, and open at all hours. That and the preservation of the classic midcentury architecture makes this a bonafide LA landmark. You can't ask for more in a diner."
"Came here for brunch with a group of friends and everything was delicious! My boyfriend and I got the truffle fries, spinach pesto pizza, and California omelette. The others got egg sandwiches, steak and eggs, and the apple French toast. The skinny studio heat, basil fizz, and espresso martini were all great.Service was good-- the staff rounded the table frequently to check in and were friendly. The outside patio is covered and a great area to sit to enjoy the fresh air!"
"I've been here twice, once for a rooftop bar reception event and another time for dinner. This review is primarily for the dinner food. I got the Pan Seared King Salmon. The salmon itself is decent, super crispy skin, well seasoned. I didn't like the rest of the dish though. The sauce was not well balanced - very acidic and overwhelmingly sour. The quality of the ingredients like the broccoli and heirloom beans was good, but couldn't appreciate them because the flavor was drowned out by the acidic sauce. We were also there on an evening where it was pretty cold. They have heat lamps but out of the 4 nearby us, only 1 was functional, and they were bolted down and not movable, so half our table was freezing during the dinner. Aside from the issues with the cold and broken heat lamps, the service and atmosphere were fine, but my rating is just for the food."
"Great spot in downtown Culver City to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. The menu is quite expansive - some French, some American, some Asian focused dishes. It's always fun to order different types of dishes to share with your table mates. At the top of my list are the liver pate, escargot, charcuterie boards. But my all time favorite is the hot fudge sundae Great service."
"This sandwich is worth the wait, and lives up to the hype! The owner is a super sweet queen and her staff is so friendly!! The sauce that comes with it makes you wanna lick all your fingers! go try her out!!"
"Came here for lunch but unknowingly didn't realize the vast difference in menu items as lunch is more pizza heavy (& sandwich) than other dishes. We were seated on the rooftop which was nice and there are space heaters for the colder days. The aesthetic is really nice with earthy tones and wood doors and panels. As you're walking up, you'll see on the 2nd floor bar area the ceiling hanging of dried figs which was beautiful but also brought out this pleasant smell to the room. We ordered:+ Japanese Sweet Potato, Jalapeño Yogurt, Scallion - our favorite dish with nicely panfried potatoes and the jalapeno yogurt was a nice pairing to give a sweet and savory palette. + Beef Tartare, Sourdough, Dijon Mustard, Caper, Shallot - served on top of a toasty bread that was the perfect thickness so the ratio of tartare to bread was great. + Pizza Anchovy, Nardello Pepper, Cherry Tomato, Burrata, Caper, Parmesan - the ingredients read like a flavor explosion but it was pretty muted. The wood fired pizza crust and texture was great though and I really liked the lemon zest on top.+ House Made Pickled Vegetables - would skip as it's nothing special and quite a small portion so not really shareable. + Braised Pork Meatball, Tomato Sauce, Parmesan, Sourdough Toast - I would potentially skip this if you're not obsessed with meatballs. My friends raved about the pasta during the dinner so I will need to make another visit for that!"
