"A+ all around from the food to the ambiance, the service to the presentation, it altogether was a spectacular dining experience. I brought my friend here for a birthday dinner, not expecting much. We were blown away by the dishes we ordered - the hamachi, escargot, uni gnocchi, crispy red snapper, Wagyu. The standout was the uni gnocchi and second was the crispy red snapper. We ALMOST didn't order the uni gnocchi, but luckily our server talked us into it. It's such a creative concept and actually has a lot more gnocchi than you expect when you first look at it! Good but not overpowering flavor, sauce had a nice creamy consistency, and the gnocchi was perfectly al dente. Highly highly recommend this dish. Our server mentioned this was a seasonal dish that was so popular that it made the main menu. Lucky us!Crispy red snapper was cooked perfectly and the plating was beautiful. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the beet sauce under the snapper, but it was wonderful to look at! The other sauces on the plate also paired very well with the red snapper. Some things to note - - you could get lucky and snag free parking in the spots right as you enter the street - they don't serve alcohol yet so it's all mocktails for now! Luckily there are many bars nearby if you want a drink - they switch out the dishes so a plate you see on yelp may not be on the menu by the time you dine- choose the dining room for seating! The bar and bar tables felt very small. We were very glad we didn't choose those during our reservation"
"I've been craving Chinese food lately and had my eye on Wong's Kitchen, a spot I used to frequent as a kid. Sadly, on my recent visit, I learned that my high school friend Danny Wong had passed away and the restaurant had changed hands. Despite my skepticism, the quality of food remained impressive. The Kowloon dinner, featuring pork, fried rice, sweet-and-sour pork, and chop suey or chow mein, was reasonably priced. The fried rice, with its unique blend of seasonings, was as delicious as I remembered. The sweet-and-sour pork was still crispy and flavorful, even after a 20-minute drive home. The original chop suey and chow mein were just as good as before. Although the familiar faces were gone, the new owners seem dedicated to maintaining the tradition of excellent Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend giving Wong's Kitchen a try, especially considering the very reasonable prices.Enjoy!!!"

"Ahh such a good experience here! Celebrated a friend's birthday and the skewers were sooo good! The servers were attentive and there was a lot of space to enjoy a late night dinner. We got the Gui Dan Dan Noodles & Scallion Oil Noodles - both were really good! I liked the scallion one best! In terms of skewers, I really enjoyed the ones we ordered: Premium Beef, Pork Jowl, Fish Tofu, Pork Belly, and Shrimp!"
"A cozy place for hanging out with your friends for soju and drinking games!Highlights of the menu:1. Bulgogi with rice2. Spicy chicken with cheese and rice3. Cheese donkatsu4. Spicy jokbal (pig feet)"
"Ever constantly go to a place without ever knowing the price? lol My family and I have been coming here ever since I was little. I realized we constantly be grabbing plates without ever knowing the prices of each plate. We never bother to check if the prices gone up. This is how much we adore and enjoy this place. We would ask for the check, see the total, and just paid & tip. Yesh, depending on which server...the services can be meh. Even so, we always have such a great time here. The foods always hit the spot. The broth is always flavorful. They don't really marinate the meats, but once we grill it..the taste? AMAZING!They offer free rice, porridge, and tea. Parking availableRR availThis is such a great place to enjoy with friends and family. There are so many hotpot & bbq around. This place remains to be my favorite."
"Definitely an interesting experience since I don't get to try Shanghainese Chinese cuisine often. From the flavors of the Xiao Long Bao and Curry Beef Noodle Soup, I was getting the "SAME-SAME, BUT DIFFERENT" experience. Like I've tried something similar, but it's slightly different here.5/5 for Xiao long bao. Very soupy when you pop it open on your soup spoon and sip. Gentle umami flavor. They give more ginger strips to enjoy with the soup dumplings to help cut through the porky flavor. Skin of the dumplings were perfect - did not break when picked up and not too thick. Would get again.3/5 for Curry Beef Noodle Soup. Noodles are thin egg noodles. A few pieces of thinly sliced beef and 2 leaves of bokchoy lol... Slight curry flavor with thin soup consistency. It tasted like beef soup mixed with curry powder. It's different compared to many other curry noodle soups I have tried. Would not get again.3/5 for Seasonal Crab Roe Noodles. This dish was okay... Think a remix on Uni pasta dish but with crab roe and lighter in creaminess and heaviness, served on thin noodles. You definitely taste the crab roe and the crabby flavor. I usually like crab dishes but this dish was very strong in flavor. They offer a side of vinegar to add to your dish and it does cut down on the super strong crabby flavor which made it more palatable for me. Would not get again.Love the interior design and ambiance is calm and quiet. A small getaway in the local area that transports you to some neighborhood of chinese (I guess it's Shanghai).Overall Service was good. They give you a water pitcher so you dont have to constantly ask for water. Menu can be seen with the QR code and you place your order on your phone. Staff were nearby so they can attend to you when needed. Their menu offers a couple of dimsum items too. I would come back to check those out next time."
"Visited this auspicious place tonight! Ordered the Thai hot wings (not hot but delicious), veggie pancake (my favorite, wish I would have ordered two), shrimp rolls, Rangoons and crabmeat fried rice. Everything was delicious, I'm sad I reside in a different county because I would be here at least twice a week. Service was on point as well. I look forward to returning and trying their other dishes. Highly recommend this place."
"I would say the food was great but it wasn't necessarily authentic taiwanese food! They also are missing dan dan noodles from the menu (the noodles w ground beef are pictured and they are not similar to dan dan noodles). Lots of appetizer options and we got the pickled cucumbers. Overall really solid meal for the price (noodles were both $15 + change). There was a line when we got here but it moved fast and the service was quick too!"
"Ordered takeout couple of nights ago, as it was my first time trying this place out, and everything I ordered was amazing! The taste of pad Thai and pad see ew noodles tasted delicious! Will definitely come back and try out more food!"
"They have a small parking structure in the back that does fill up quickly but there is also plenty of parking on the street. Small underrated Thai food establishment with enough table space to fit groups of more than 4. It is not usually crowded, most people order take out. All their food tastes authentic and home made and not overly greasy. We always order pad Thai, pad see ew, fried rice, Tom yum & mango sticky rice. What I love most about this place is that their food is ALWAYS consistent and delicious Also their Thai iced tea is perfectly sweetened and not too sweet. If you're looking for good Thai food or a cute place for a quiet dinner date on a weekend I 100% recommend checking them out."
"I was able to finally come visit Yamashiro. We made a reservation a good month ahead of time to come for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We were hoping to have caught the sunset but missed it by a few minutes. The restaurant is near the Magic Castle and truly has a nice aura to it that makes you forget you are in Los Angeles. We had a few minutes before we were seated so we decided to roam the grounds. Sadly the bar at the bottom was closed during our visit and the garden seemed to be under some care. Our waitress was so kind and nice. We were seated outdoors since there was an event going on inside (seemed like a company holiday party). I wore a dress and brought a coat, although I had a heating lamp near by, I was still a little cold so didnt take my coat off at all. We ordered:Spicy tuna crispy ricechampagne miso chilean sea basssalmon citrus rollcoconut hamachi cevice white dragon rollRyujin cocktailEverything was good, enough for two hungry adults to enjoy for dinner. Being that it was my birthday celebration, our waitress brought over a little dessert to enjoy which was a nice touch and also delicious. I also liked that our waitress gave me the time to ask her questions about the restaurant's ghost. I would love to come back and check it out during the day. I was told they have a decent Sunday brunch. Valet Parking onlyReservations are highly recommended"
"We came across flavorz on Instagram and hunted them down in echo park. Food is bomb! I got a chicken and shrimp quesadilla & my bf got the sisig plate with an egg. We also tried some yummy dessert - bananas, pudding and Nutella. We'll definitely be coming back."

10/08/24 Solid 3.5 stars! This was my first time at a Chinese Skewer restaurant- think yakitori style. Skewers of raw meat cooked on an open flame. We were here for a business dinner so sadly the camera couldn't eat first as much as I would have liked to have shared. The menu is incredibly huge for a bbq skewers restaurant. We ordered a bunch of different meat skewers to try and grabbed some appetizers too! Service was spotty. Towards the end of our Tuesday meal, getting the check was a bit of a wait. Maybe an off night. I'd be back if in town with the family. The wagyu and chicken cartilage was memorable. Oh and their seasoned peanuts! Yummm.

My friends and I came here for the first time and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! My favorite dish was the cheese tteokbokki (20/10 recommend!). The vibe of the restaurant was also very chill. I love how there are drawings all over the walls, seats, and tables and that there are markers available so you can add more drawings too. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back here again!

I was recently introduced to this spot and absolutely love it. There are places you go to eat for a great dining experience. And there are places that you go because the food is absolutely unbeatable. This place is definitely the latter. The ambiance and service are not bad here but it's relatively low-key and almost a self-service spot. Their soup base and marinate on their meat is absolutely amazing. The price especially at lunch is insane for the value. And it has a really cool retro diner vibe as well

Date of visit: 1/29/2025 (Lunar new year lunch time)Wish I looked at the paper menu instead of the online menu. Paper menu shows which the signature dishes are; I believe online menu doesn't. DO ORDER THESE: - crab pork XLB: authentic Shanghai XLB! Very very good! Skin is not the thinnest but has very good texture. - gluten puff in Shanghai style: came out hot, it was so good! - pan fried pork bun: not your everyday pan fried pork bun as it's not really bun but more like thin bun-like layer covering the meat filling. It's good as it's not as heavy as a real bun would be. Filling very juicy and flavorful. Eat it like you do XLB: hold soup spoon with your left hand, chopstick the bun with your right hand and bite a little hole on the bun, pour the juice on your spoon and enjoy the yummy broth before eating the rest of the bun. - corn shrimp paste cake: very very good! I love these! - spicy diced pork: very tasty and not spicy at all for meDO NOT ORDER THESE: - scallion oil dry noodle: bland! noodle was way overcooked. - bean curd wrapped pork & vermicelli soup: bland. The bean curd wrap was way too thick. Desserts I ordered:- osmanthus ice jelly: not bad. Not too sweet which is always a plus on my book, but honestly I've had better elsewhere - iced lily and mung bean soup: it comes with a ball of sticky rice in the middle. I like the mung bean but not too crazy with the sticky rice. I believe this is my first time having sticky rice dessert with a clear thin sweet soup like this. Usually sticky rice dessert comes with thicker sauce....All in all I like this restaurant and will def come back and try their signature noodle dishes!

This review is receiving 3 starts due to the cleaning product smell inside, the difficulty of finding a parking spot, and the average- good food. When I see a yelp place with so many great reviews I get excited because I feel that there's some guarantee that the food is going to be above average however sadly that was not my experience at this place. To be fair the staff were so sweet and amazing which made the experience very enjoyable but I wish I could say the food wowed me. I circled around 5-6 times to find parking on a long strip of both sides of the street and nothing. I eventually found parking about 2 blocks away and was picked up by a friend. So if you have accessibility issues maybe getting dropped off might be the best solution. We walk in and are immediately greeted by the smell of cleaning products which i personally dislike because i expect a restaurant to smell like food and the smell kind of ruins the experience for me. We sat down quickly as there was no one inside( most people seem to order delivery or pick up). We order Tom Kha, crab Rangoon, fresh coconut juice and mango sticky rice. The coconut water in the fresh coconut was definitely 5/5 might return just for that. The soup was good but average it was lacking in flavor. The crab Rangoon were also not the best I've had. The mango sticky rice was very dry so not sure if it was sitting there for long or not. It was good but not great. Not sure if will be returning to this place. And to be fair their other items might be better tasting.

I visited this 'Noodle St,' branch for a quick take out experience. I was attending a nearby City of Pasadena, CA.,'s community event around the corner. Luckily I came across cheap meter parking so snatched it. I first learned about 'Noodle St.,' was from Santa Anita Mall, Arcadia, CA., location. I didn't enjoy my experience there either, but I did find the best suitable of all 'Noodle St.,' branches came from their 'City of Monrovia,' CA., branch. I'll stick to this Monrovia one.I was hoping food portions larger, but it actually didn't meet my expectations. Keeping it at 4-stars from the nice staff. A whole lot of food was the steamed rice, but I just think the ingredients that come with this entree need to be balanced. Just a thought.

"The ambiance, service, and food at Teru Sushi are superb. The sushi is absolutely amazing--top-notch deliciousness that stands out from the rest. I especially love when the owner takes the time to offer recommendations, which makes the experience feel even more personal. The owner was extremely nice and helpful, adding to the already wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend this spot for sushi lovers!"
"Review update may be forthcoming as I want to come back and try more from the menu, but as of right now I find Meizhou Dongpo just okay. I've gone twice now and just not been impressed with the flavors or dryness of the duck.Let me start by saying, I love the location of this Meizhou Donpo within Century City Mall. They have outdoor seating for fun people watching on the top floor of the mall and it's a fun, sexy evening vibe. Great service as this location, as well!Every time I've been thus far, the half duck was quite dry. Like I had one piece and couldn't do anymore due to it not being rich and juicy. The flavor of the orange chicken just isn't very strong and my palate is used to a sweet & sugary taste to the orange chicken. So if you are looking for a less sweet, more muted orange chicken you might love this. I did not enjoy the flavors though. As mentioned, I'll def be back and want to try more from the menu. It's just so convenient to dine here when you see a movie at the AMC. But, I won't be getting the half duck or orange chicken again."
"My husband threw a birthday party for me in the hidden Garden at bowls N Bunz. The ambience was amazing, great music, very cozy atmosphere, romantic and inviting. The food is delicious and the service is great. Moshe, the manager was very accommodating and thoughtful. The family and friends at my party. Can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is a case of don't judge the book by its cover, since the garden is hidden."
"My partner and I love this place! We usually come to their happy hour and stay until it's over. Their yellowtail sashimi is delicious and we always order rolls with chile! Ambience is chill and their staff has always been friendly."
"Very easy to find restaurant with tons of parking. Sadly parking is plentiful because most of the businesses in this plaza seem to be gone. After awkwardly trying to get through their magnetic screen door curtain we were greeted by very friendly employees. Menu has a large variety of items and most seemed meant to be shared and accompanied by booze. Lots of pub style dishes. What brought us here was the "Pocha Bossam" which is soy glazed pork belly served with a delicious vinegary dipping sauce, raw green onion, daikon radish, and kimchi. We got the regular portion which was plentiful for two people to share. More than two people you'll want to get the larger size because this stuff is so good you'll want a big enough portion so you won't be fighting for slices. The employee made sure to let us know you want to grab a piece and eat it with the garnishes after dipping in the sauce. My wife and I both loved every bite and devoured it. The pork belly was braised or steamed so it wasn't crispy, just melt in your mouth tender. Just know they do not serves these with wraps like other Korean restaurants. You eat it with the garnish. I noticed some reviews are disappointed in this serving style so figured I'd mention it.We also ordered a serving of boneless chicken. What came out was a mountain of fried goodness. There's several flavors to choose from and we picked the soy garlic. It was more on the sweet side than I expected and I didn't taste much soy flavor but it was definitely heavy on the garlic. We ate a large amount but ended up tapping out and taking some home due to the enormous portion size. It tasted great the next day straight out of the fridge. Super crispy batter yet maintained moist tender chicken. To drink my wife and I shared a bottle of Green Grape Sochu. For $10 I was expecting this to be wine cooler strength but my wife and I had a pretty good buzz after polishing off the bottle. They had a lot of interesting sochu flavors so we'll definitely try another next visit. They gave us some pretzels with the drink. All the customers here seemed to be in a good mood. Service was so friendly you couldn't help but be in a good mood. Another employee was in the corner staging food for photos I assume for social media. He was taking pictures of bento boxes that I now see on yelp. Looks like they've expanded the menu since I was here a month or so ago. Can't wait to return!"
"Love the vibe. Love the food. Popped in to hang with friends and ordered the Veggie Sisig. Some of the best tofu I've had. The flavors were everything. Do yourself a favor and drop by."
"What a hidden gem. Easy to get to with valet & self-parking option, however they're the same price. Great for a date, business meal, or friend catch up. The ambiance both inside and on the patio are incredible. It's gorgeous with greenery and low lights. Also not excessively loud.Great, welcoming staff. Our server had some good menu suggestions for us. The drinks were incredible. The Earth, Wind & Fire was a necessity and arrived at the table on fire. Easy to do a mix of staters and mains family style here. The daily sashimi & sourdough were excellent starters. Sourdough is fresh baked. Also started with the kale salad, crispy jidori chicken and crispy pork belly. All were great. The honey sauce on the side of the chicken is to die for. The black cod also came on fire and was absolutely delicious. The Japanese yams taste more like a dessert than a side. For dessert the miso donuts are good but the matcha crème brûlée was the real winner."
"Short while ago, I came across this restaurant on Yelp. The reviews mentioned great food and daily lunch specials, plus something that's unheard of these days, a ling list of specials for only $10. So on a day when we had nothing planned for lunch, we came here to try them out. The parking lot is shared with other businesses. The closest spots are tight and need a little maneuvering skills to get in. The outside and interior is not fancy at all. Just your average Chinese restaurant. The service is similar to a design style I like: minimalist. It's almost like they made an effort to exchange as little words as possible and avoid any facial expressions. For lunch, we went with their specials menu: Filet mignon in black pepper sauce: nice color in the beef but we all know it's not filet mignon. The beef was lacking compared to the onions they filled the plate with. Some pieces were tender, some were chewy. 3/5.(see my photo) Chicken fried rice: decent wok flavor and generous with the chicken. We opted out of scallions or any of the frozen diced veggies. 3.5/5String beans and chicken: An even amount of chicken vs. beans. Flavor isn't bad. 3.5/5Seafood tofu hot pot. Decent amount of fish and shrimp with tofu. Good flavor. 4/5. They served complimentary soup, but my soup spoon tasted like dishwater, as if they just fished it out of the sink. One sip was enough for me to thoroughly inspect every bowl plate or cup. Whenever we ask for anything, like water or the rice that was supposed to come with the lunch specials, we had to ask twice. They accept credit cards, but charge .75 extra. And then they tell me they cannot put the tip on the card so we have to use cash. OK, I get why, but what if I didn't bring cash? So the food was pretty decent, not much to rave or complain about. But for me, I very much prefer supporting businesses with good people that actually appreciate their customers a bit. Will I come back? Who knows, but I'm in no hurry that's for certain."
"As I was driving around, I was looking for something to eat. I came upon this place and wanted to try it out. Since I was craving a poke bowl, I saw that they had a Chirashi Bowl. So, I ordered the bowl with regular white rice. For $27-, the Chirashi Bowl filled me up. Also, it came with miso soup and a free soda with a Yelp Check-in. Plus, I got a tip on how to eat the fish which I appreciated."
"New management in the past year has really brought this place back to life! It's a total delight to come here again."
"I used to work out in Sylmar - where I first had TMAD. I worked some insane hours during that time and Teriyaki Madness was always coming through. I no longer work out there and this spot is down the street from home - a discovery that I was very happy with. I'm not surprised by some of the reviews. Honestly - many of my neighbors are overly critical and unfairly judgmental. When I leave a review - it is deserved and unbiased. The staff were welcoming and friendly - but their kindness was genuine which - after a long day - "real" is appreciated. The restaurant is clean and maintained - which is evident when you see how nicely the tables, chairs, floor, and windows look. The dude is cleaning the window as I write this review: Quality. Give the lad a raise. My food (see photo) came exactly as I had directed and it was served at my table. I had no issue getting it myself but - again - the quality of service and the care I received demanded that I speak up for this place. North Hollywood has a Teriyaki Madness - and if you've never tried it or you're on the fence - move yo rear end and try 'em out. Thank you for the quality and genuine customer service. I will be returning and recommending this location to my family and friends."
"I had the General Orange Chicken with white rice and a spring roll it was absolutely delicious! My goal is to try everything on the menu so I can give you all updates on how all the dishes are. (Excuse my photo--I added soy sauce way too early and forgot to snap it for Yelp first, lol.)As you can see, Hoys Wok is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants to visit in West LA. First off, I love the owners--they are beyond sweet and super friendly, not just to me but to everyone who visits. For my Yelp family, here's a helpful tip: if you're planning to order food for a potluck or holiday party, make sure to plan ahead! They get really busy this time of year, which makes sense--great food, excellent service, and a community that clearly loves them.Happy Holidays, everyone! Enjoy!"
"Seriously THEEE best Pho! It's amazing how every time I mention this 2-location chain, the people already know! I actually haven't been to a lot of Pho spots, but my Vietnamese friend has, and she's taken me to the authentic hole in the wall family owned business around the second largest Vietnamese populated city in the US (which is in OC). But when I brought her here, she was absolutely shocked at how good it is...both the food and the service! My favorite is the Filet Mignon Pho. I always have to get it. I also love that you get unlimited noodles with your bowl, so I always order extra to have a second meal saved with my left over broth. They do serve other items that I haven't yet tried, but plan to. On the weekends there can be a long wait, but you can join the waitlist right in the Yelp app while you're on your way to cut the wait time. Just make sure you arrive when they text that your table is ready, or you could get bumped off."
"Very technically accurate waitlist system using Yelp or QR code scan. Very kind, attentive staff. One saw our scissors drop on the floor and before we had to ask for a fresh pair, he already brought one over.Beff tartare was flavorful and "filling" cause it's hard for the body to digest raw meat. But it was seasoned so well with sesame oil, it reminded me of eating poke. The Ramen instant noodle end was bomb. They add so much additional ingredients like bulgogi beef and fresh veggies. Thought they were only going to bring out a packet for us to cook. But they go above and beyond to already bring it over cooked with extra peppery seasoning. It's a huge pot that could serve 4 easily, so have room in your stomach!Love how there is scallops on the menu.Cooked on a pretty shell with lots of sauce. The sauce offering is robust and the chimichurri is amazing. Love the unique kitchen side offerings: garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice and seafood pancake.Included dessert is vanilla soft serve with caramel or brown sugar sauce. Ambience: has a man Asian night market feel with some side dishes served on skewers."
"This restaurant is really yummy and so reasonable. They have happy hours almost every day, and the food items are really good. They also have wonderful lunch specials. The service has always been super friendly and I can't imagine how anybody wouldn't love this place. My daughter and I keep coming back to try every item and so far they've all been delicious"
"Three stars for ambience and quality of food. The service was really slow and we were on a time crunch. Try eating hot soup quick due slow service. Yes, we could've went somewhere else. But for the time we visited and the time we received our order we had to rush to get out of there. Bummer"
"I love that Jade has a beautiful ambiance AND good food. It's rare these days to find both. The place is truly very cute - perfect for a girls' night. Everything we ordered was very good and fresh. However, they are not very good about accommodating allergies. I was initially told that having a soy sauce allergy was no issue and that they can accommodate the dishes, but it turned out they actually couldn't and I was unable to eat most of the things on the menu as it was all premixed. That was truly the only downside.Drinks were decent, though my spicy skinny margarita tasted a bit like black licorice. Definitely worth checking out!"
"I came here for a weeknight dinner with a friend and was surprised to find the place bustling with a steady stream of customers. However, after eating the food here, I can say I am definitely not surprised as to why Lucky Pig is busy - it's a phenomenal katsu place with a very affordable menu.I ordered the regular katsu plate with a side of curry. The pork itself is very juicy and delicately breaded and fried. Sometimes low-quality pork will be very dry and have a gamey smell, but this was not the case here. The dipping sauce complemented the juicy pork very well, as did my side order of curry. I also devoured my side salad which was tossed in an amazingly umami sesame dressing. The star of the show was actually their special pepper relish. Tangy and bright, it paired well with the heartiness of the pork katsu and refreshed my palate throughout the meal.At the end, my friend and I split the yuzu panna cotta and it was one of the best panna cottas I've had. I'm not sure if Lucky Pig uses a special brand of milk for it, but it was amazingly creamy and sweet, while the yuzu sauce drizzled on top kept it fresh.I'd love to come back to get the katsu again and even try the omurice next time."
"It was a cold night, and I wanted some kind of soup for dinner. My boyfriend and I initially went to Boiling Point but they had a long wait so we came here instead. I was able to get on their waitlist from the Yelp app as we drove over, and we were seated almost immediately when we arrived. The front was hidden and the parking lot was cramped. You probably wouldn't find it if you weren't looking for it. If you haven't been here before, you pick your protein, soup base, and a sauce. My boyfriend ordered the Angus Beef T-Rex ($25.45) which comes with more meat, with the Japanese Miso broth and Japanese Sesame sauce, with Vermicelli (additional $1) instead of the rice. I had a Premium Pork Regular ($24.45) which comes with more veggies, with the Tomato broth and Japanese Sesame sauce with the rice it came with, and gave my boyfriend some of my rice. Sharing is caring. We also shared a side of the Golden Fish Balls ($10.50).The broth wasn't as flavorful as tomato from other shabu places I've been to, and my premium pork didn't look too premium. At least the portion was huge and we both had enough food to togo for a subsequent meal each. Service was really neglective. We asked 2 different servers for napkins and didn't get it the whole time we were there. We also had to waive someone down for the check. Not my first choice, just like how it wasn't our first choice to begin with, but it's not bad if I want quick and easy shabu where I don't have to wait."
"Foods were a total bomb! We'll definitely be back for more!Service was stellar. Ideal for a small group of friends."
"This is one of my go tos for a healthy, satisfying lunch. I always get the salmon bowl. They take their time with making it, which is both good (seems fresher and healthier) and not (maybe a little too much time). The restaurant is clean and the staff knows their product well. I recommend it highly as long as you are not in a rush. You will be very satisfied with portion and taste!!"
"After passing by this amazing fragrant stall a gazillion times I finally decided to try it. Every time I pass by I can smell the cumin, so I ordered stir fried noodles with beef in a spicy cumin sauce. My order was ready fairly quickly and I was also provided some chili oil for that extra kick. You can adjust the spice level to your preference, I asked for 3, but the receipt said 2. After I added the chili oil, the spice level was perfect. Everything was cooked well and the texture of the noodles still had a nice chew. I loved the amount of stir fried veggies in this dish too. This might just be my new favorite place to grab a bite at the farmers market, we will definitely be back soon!"
"Came back for a second round and this place did not disappoint again! I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to the Black Snapper. Sam took care of us at the table while Jun made magic behind the sushi bar. Top notch food with top notch service. Definitely try the chirashi bowl."
