Very cool dive bar in Hollywood. Awesome throwback rock music, chill vibe, dark red mood lighting, a good amount of seating. No pressure, comfortable spot. There are several nightlife businesses on this street if you like to hop. Parking can be tough but I can always find street parking with a little bit of a walk.Will be back!

Writing this bc who else will? The Burg is perfection. The perfect dive bar to ever exist. The perfection of what a good dive asks to be.

This bar is almost a landmark in Hollywood. It's kind of iconic. Also, this is one of these places that you need to adjust expectations. It's a proper dive bar...which means the bathrooms are a mess, late at night people are drunk and sloppy, they don't have mixologists or anything fancy and it's fairly small.All that beating said, again, it's iconic. A great pace for a drink after catching a show at the Hotel Cafe if you really want a rock and roll vibe. For a real feel of old Hollywood/rick n roll LA...this is your place! You half expect Jim Morrison to be sitting in the booth behind you. It's just one of those places. We happened to be there 2 nights in a row because of events in surrounding areas and the first night-a Friday, the bartender...she had an AMAZING playlist that completely fit the vibe do the bar...classic rock, 90s rock ballads, amazing! It really enhanced the whole feel of the place. Second night, different bartender...jams not as good which did kill it a little. But again-looking for a good dive bar in Hollywood with an old rock feel? This is it.

Cool, dark, almost dive bar in Hollywood. Went there because a friend of a friend was doing a theme night there. We all had a nice time, until we figured out that two of us were charged different prices for the same drinks by the same bartender. That put a damper on things and we didn't order any more after that and went elsewhere.

Just for how they treat non tippers this place deserves 5 stars. As someone in the service industry this sign expresses something I wish I could say. Really interesting crowd and a friendly bartender. I hope her acting career prospers.

Sometimes one needs to crawl Into a bat cave filled with other misfits. Perfect spot reminds me of Nola. Staff and music always great.

Searching for a spot to hang out on a rainy Saturday night, my friend and I explored around 5 other bars before stumbling upon this gem! Luckily, a booth opened up shortly after we received our drinks, making it a perfect spot for us. The atmosphere was delightful, and the service was exceptionally friendly. We will definitely return! Many thanks for the great experience!

Love this bar. I'm new to the neighborhood,this will be my go to bar . Taylor was very nice and attentive. I came on a weekday and the vibe was chill. Definitely music was good. My lagunitas beer tasted so good . Especially when service was good . I will bring my friends for sure .

Stopped by here for a nightcap not long ago - it's a cool little place. Staff was friendly and it wasn't super expensive which is nice these days! It's lowkey and dark and even has a small outside area. Will come back at some point!
