Bud Namu Korean BBQ

Great meat and I've been to several different horrible Korean bbq with terrible quality meat and few options for higher prices with worse service.

Bud Namu has been a long time favorite for AYCE Korean bbq. It's super affordable, delicious and is consistently good. We came in on a Thursday night, and had to wait for 30 mins, which tells you how busy it gets. The banchan spread is delicious, and buffets style. I got rice, radish, kimchi, ginger and jalapjalapeño and everything was amazing. We also get the brisket, pork belly and bulgogi for the meat, and those were all delicious and pair well with the banchan. Overall cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is one of the more affordable KBBQ places in LA and the quality is delicious! My classics are always the briskets and pork belly, but the beef bulgogi here beats some of the other places I've been to. The staff are quick and attentive and I like how they communicate with their employees through walkie talkies when it gets crowded.The self-serve side dishes are honestly what keeps me coming back since the sides meshes/compliments so well with the meat. The spicy rice cakes and potatoe salad always hit the spot for me, but they also have kimchi that's really good and Mac salad along with other sides.

Love coming to this place all the time if my family and I have any birthdays, or anniversaries or just to eat our hearts out. Lol. The food here is very fresh and would definitely come back soon. The salad at the bar was very fresh and chopped to perfection. The service here was great. They helped us on anything if we needed something. The ambience was mild to moderate loud, but not too loud. Unless if there are more people in the restaurant, then yes. I am giving this review 4/5 stars because the chairs of this restaurant are very squeaky and you feel like the chair is about to break. But would still definitely come back here for the food. Because that's the main priority. Thank you.

I think this restaurant is going to be our spot for cheap kbbq from now on! The service is good, meats are pretty good for the price. There's also a salad bar where they have mac salad, potato salad, kimchi, mixed greens, radish, etc. Yes, they don't have a lot of options for the $23.99 menu butttt if all you want is to eat a bunch of basic (but delicious) meats, it's worth it! My husband and I usually tap out after 3 rounds so we definitely get our money's worth. We could maaaybe go for 4th or 5th round if extra hungry but we find ourselves stopping at round 3 even at other ayce places like ayce sushi and chinese buffets. Also, i like that there's parking, although small.. come during the day and lunch time and you'll find a parking spot easily!! I definitely recommend this place.

I really liked this place. I guess you shouldn't really judge a book by its cover. I was initially hesitant to come here especially because it was for my brother's surprise birthday dinner. But, I'm glad we came because I was so pleasantly surprised. The inside is nice and even their bathroom was clean. There are different tiers of meat options to choose from and we chose B. The meats were good and flavorful. We really liked their spicy pork and beef belly. The have a small buffet section that has veggies, Kim chi, potato salad, etc. Their potato salad is so good that I could've eaten a whole plate of it. Service was also great as they changed our grills often and helped us cook the meat. Sadly, I wish I took photos of this place. Maybe next time!

Meat quality is so bad. So fatty and wondering why there are red pepper powders on the Galbi? Did they cook leftover meat ? I've never seen red peppers on the Galbi. I used to order from this restaurant often but quality is getting worse and worse. I decide not to go anymore.

Hole in the wall, decent place with decent meat cuts. Ample parking across the street since they have their own parking lot. It's like Covid didn't exist, buffet style appie bar, good selection but food (even hot foods) were cold. I was disappointed by that last part but k suppose it's because they were getting ready to close so nothing was warm. Service was good at the beginning. Towards the end, I know they were trying to close early, they were pretty much kicking us out the door.

I've been to Bud Namu KBBQ for a couple times now and while it used to be one of my go-to spots, my recent visits have been disappointing. The quality of the meat has noticeably changed. They start you off with premium cuts that are flavorful and tender, but after that first round, the quality takes a sharp decline. The subsequent meat orders lack the same quality, and it feels like you're getting a much lower grade of meat as you go.Additionally, when we got there Friday night the place isn't that busy, no waiting time, more vacant tables but it looks like they're still understaffed. The service was super slow, and even some of the sides on the bar are empty and nobody's refilling it until we asked them to, the overall experience just isn't worth it. If you're looking for consistency and good service, you might want to consider other KBBQ spots instead.

FORCED 15% GRATUITY, The whole night my friend and I had to constantly seek attention because the waiters seemed to ignore our table. The night was ok but when it came to paying I surprised by the automatic 15% gratuity included on our bill. No where inside the restaurant is it advised that this would be included
