The food is extraordinary! The spices they use are everything! Their pastries & bread are sooooo fresh and well made! We ordered the: Zaatar & Feta Babka - 10/10 The Diner Plate - OMG served with the best jam I've ever had The breakfast Mezze- I personally loved it! A lot of the food in this dish is pretty heavily pickled so just make sure you like that briney taste if you chose to order this. Also their Chai is one of the best I've had! And their service is amazing. Totally recommend!!

Came heee for a cookbook author event. Food was actually pretty good. The breakfast mezze platter was all really good. The salad with winter veggies was underwhelming. It was a green salad with mustard dressing, some pepitas a few slices of summer squash. The service is what really needs improvement. Friendly. But slow. Took a long time to come greet us. And then longer to come take the order. Then longer to check on us. When we did order, she repeated everything back to us. The salad (that was repeated back) never arrived. I got up. Found the waiter and said we were missing the salad. She turned it back on us that she didn't hear us order it. (Yet she did recap it to us after our order). The stinker of the service was.. when she delivered the salad, said another reservation would need our table in a few minutes. Considering we had been there forever due to her slow service. .. that was prettty gd rude. To cap it off. We polished off the salad quickly.. and still had to track someone down to get the check. Thought there was a rush to get us out? Anyways. Was a decent brunch marred by the waitress

Cute restaurant with great food! Parking - tough as it's silverlake, was able to find street parking in nearby neighborhood. Service - had a reservation for 12pm, I got there 10 mins early but was unfortunately not sat till 12:10pm, so I just kinda stood there for 20 mins. Once sat our waiter was attentive and great!Food - great menu! I had a delicious juice and got the diner place. Mix of great flavors and I felt really satiated. Also shared the french toast with my table. Overall great spot I'd love to return and shop their curated shop of wines, cook books and more!

This place has a cute backyard and outdoor seating on the side! Definitely a place to grab breakfast, hummus was so so good, super creamy and flavorful I would recommend it with the salad which is a little more earthy but pairing it makes a great combo! The service was super nice and very accommodating! I will be back!!

Botanica, a trendy new American restaurant, is definitely worth a visit! Not only do they serve up good food, but they also have a fantastic selection of market goodies for purchase. I found some unique olive oils and sardines that I couldn't resist taking home.I dined in their outdoor patio area, which was super chill and bright--a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The atmosphere is very aesthetic, making it a great spot for gathering with friends or just enjoying some solo brunch time.I ordered the green tea buckwheat soba noodles from their Summer Daytime Menu, and while the flavors were fresh and the veggies were spot on, I felt it could have used a bit more sauce to tie everything together. On the other hand, the kimchi biscuit was packed with flavor and didn't disappoint. The side potatoes were solid as well, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was attentive, and our server was great at providing recommendations, which really added to the experience. I will definitely be back when I'm in town again, especially to try more of their pastries. Overall, a cool place with good food and a laid-back vibe--perfect for a weekend brunch!

Unfortunately for me this place was mehhhhh. Atmosphere was super cute but that was about all there was to this place. Parking is horrible for starters. Went on a Sunday for brunch and it was a full house. We ordered a couple apps to begin with. There was only one that I was actually fond of, and I don't remember the name but it was cream cheese based, had walnuts, pomegranates and another fruit. For my main dish I got the Botanica brunch plate. Turkish sausage was salty, eggs were bland, the toast was.... Toast. Super basic small breakfast for 21$. High priced for mediocrity. You're definitely paying for the vibes here and not the food.

Botanica on first glance is a very cute, classic LA outdoorsy brunch spot. With a cute back patio, it's a lovely place to meet people for a meal. The menu has a classic veggie forward spread with a variety of interesting dishes. I opted to share a tomato tartine with my friend, which sounded amazing. In reality, it was more of an untoasted bread with a generous helping of tomatoes on top. The tomatoes were no doubt fresh, but it was a bit of a let down. For my main, I had the Turkish Eggs: these were tasty, though not the best Turkish eggs I've ever had. No doubt the presentation of both were super pretty, but I think the food looks prettier than it tastes and is a bit overpriced. The service was excellent however and our server was incredibly kind! I also had an iced Vanilla Cardamom Latte which was delicious: something I would come back for!

This restaurant is 5/5 for me because the staff are great! They are warm and friendly. It's my first time in Silverlake despite having lived in DTLA for a long while. It's a nice neighborhood with beautiful houses. We had brunch here and I enjoyed the Breakfast Diner Plate. The chicken sausage and the sauce are superb! Plus the Cortado is pretty strong per my request but it was just what I liked! Overall, it's a nice area for a brunch spot, quiet and intimate.

I've wanted to come to this place for sometime now and finally got the chance to go. The place is beautiful in the patio and inside. I decided to first try the Yuzu soda. It was tart since it's made with grapefruit but the bartender gave me some agave to sweeten it up. The portions are a bit small but so good. I had the hummus with Lafa bread and the Japanese potatoes. Both were so delicious. I ended up being full after both of those things. Overall everything tasted great and I look forward to trying brunch here. SN: parking is street parking which is kind of hard in this area so plan ahead if you have reservations.

We chose this place for brunch because we were able to make a last-minute reservation. However, parking was a challenge, as street parking in the area is always tricky. Once we arrived, we were promptly seated in the outside patio, which was nice and charming. The food was good overall, but the service was a bit slow, which took away from the experience
