After reviewing all the hype, I wanted to come here for important family gathering to enjoy the food and experience good dining with love ones.Made reservations for 10 guests over the phone.Personal was very friendly & professional.Food did not disappoint, it was pretty good reasonably priced & servings were well portions for lunch menu.We had to order main lobster which was their signature dishes. We order large portions because of amount of people. Total bill came out little under $400 ( lobster dish took the big portion of the bill)As long as everyone ate well & happy, thats what is important :)

We visited Boston Lobster on Saturday night. We called ahead to make a reservation but were told just to walk in. When we arrived, it took about 30 minutes to get our table for 4 people. The restaurant was packed. We ordered the $108.99 set meal, plus the Boston House Special Lobster ($144.47 for 5 lbs) and French-Style Beef Cube ($24.99). For the $108.99 set meal, we chose Basil Clams, which were great. The Steamed Whole Fish was good, the Sautéed Pea Sprouts were good, and the House Seafood Soup was good. The Kung Pao Chicken wasn't my favorite dish here; it was too dry for me. The Boston House Special Lobster was delicious, as it's their signature dish. We also added garlic noodles ($10), which were great. The service was good and fast. I heard the chef here used to work at Newport Tan Cang Restaurant on Colima Road. I'm not sure if that's true, but the lobster did taste similar, which is why I wanted to try Boston Lobster. We will definitely visit again.

This Chinese restaurant is located on Colima at the corner of Nogales. Around the building is the 99 Cent Store, which is closed....rip. (Anyone remember Hot Star chicken??? That used to be here!)The original location is in Rosemead. Glad to see they have a second location now. I think the Chinese food style here is leaning toward Vietnamese/Cantonese.They do have an extensive menu, but they are obviously known for lobster. I highly recommend getting the house special lobster for your table! I was able to try 5-6 different dishes, and they were all pretty good. They have a few big tables for 8-10 people.Service was good. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom available. They have plenty of parking.

Very popular Chinese restaurant, came here for lunch on a Saturday 12:40pm and there was still a long line outside. Cashier estimated ~25min wait but it was 40min. Service was prompt and efficient, we were seated quickly when our turn, food also came quickly. We were impressed with the portion size, we ordered 4 lunch specials. The Kung Pao Chicken and the Beef with Chinese Broccoli were excellent. They were flavorful and tasty and complemented each other. The fried noodle w/seafood was amazing when it arrived - it was huge! However it needed a bit more flavor so we mixed some of the Kung Pao sauce in with it. The shrimp with garlic sauce was not our favorite and lacked a good flavor, just tasted a bit salty. Overall the food here is good and the portion sizes so generous. There is a lot of other menu items we want to try next time. It's really worth a visit.

I haven't been to the Boston Lobster in Rosemead but if it is anything like the one at Rowland Heights, I will need to make a visit soon.I wanted to try Boston Lobster for a while now and the Rosemead one is seemingly always (extremely) busy. I stopped by the Rowland Heights one on a weekend lunch and my first impression was wow, in terms of pricing (lunch special starts at $11.99) and taste. We ordered egg with shrimp balls, crispy fried tofu, salt and pepper pork chop, basil fish fillet, chicken with Chinese broccoli, tofu with shrimp, Mongolian beef, and mopo tofu. Everything, I mean everything, was delicious with the crispy tofu and basil fish being the notable standouts. We will be adding Boston Lobster as part of our rotation of good food.Interior is spacious and staff was friendly. Food came out between 5-10 minutes. There should be plenty of parking since the 99 Cents Only Store closed down.

The food was okay but I'm no expert on Chinese food. It just takes a lot to impress me when it comes to this type of food. I just kept thinking there's more they could've done to make the dishes more enticing. I'd much rather get my fix for these kind of dishes from Pei Wei. They have the individual portions and the right sauces them make me crave each bite that traditional restaurants do not. Also, the service here was very lax. It took repeated asks to get me my drink, with the first seemingly having forgotten I even placed a drink order. Nobody even came back to ask if I'd like another. If it were up to me, I wouldn't want to return. There are better places to eat Chinese and better staff to help serve it.

There's plenty of parking in the plaza, and the restaurant itself is spacious. Service was decent. This is a great spot for family-style dining--order a variety of dishes and share them. The food was excellent, with fresh lobster and clams standing out. We specifically came for the lobster and noodles, and they didn't disappoint. If you're not in the mood to wait at Newport, Boston Lobster is a great alternative. We didn't have to wait long at all for our 12 dishes, and they even gave us complimentary oranges after the meal.

3.75Food was good. Portions are pretty big minus the lobster. They said it was 4 pounds but we estimate it was really like 3. Flavors and taste were on point tho. The sizzling French beef was really good. Its prob one of their signatures since every table we saw got one lol. My ma really loved the catfish sour soup.Overall solid restaurant. Menu wasn't very creative but they execute well on the things they have on the menu
