Came on a winter day so was looking for something warm and cozy. I was going to order a curry, but my friend -- who frequents here -- recommended the khao soy. I'm glad she did! I got it with chicken and it was flavorful and delicious! I loved the splash of lime, the creamy soul and the mild heat. The crispy fried dough strips are larger than I've seen elsewhere and I appreciated the added extra crunch. And the noodles cooked perfectly al dente! The place is small but easily accommodated our party of four. The hostess was so gracious. We initially had anticipated a party of five and so she cleaned a larger table specifically for us. Then our party shranked to just four, and she was fine with the switchback to our initial table. Parking is street but relatively easy to find on weekends.

Cozy venue with kind servers and wide menu. We went on a rainy day cause I was craving pho, not my favorite but the drunken noodles were spectacular.

Great thai restaurant - flavors feel very authentic. Got the green curry, and everything was perfectly executed. Not too thick and not too thin. Balanced amount of spice, and ample amount of meat/veggies. Serving size was large.Service was great and restaurant is clean. Parking is a bit tough, but would definitely come back and try other items.

I know this is a niche type of restaurant. Cute little art all around the place. Very intimate and nice lil customers sitting inside at each table. The service is great and so is the food. Hollywood style

Excellent food and a family owned atmosphere. This was one of the first places I went when I moved into the neighborhood and it's been my go to ever since. The staff are always great and the food is always good. I will continue to come here for as long as I remain in the area.

I ordered delivery on Grubhub - the Pad See Ew, egg rolls, and Tai tea - and sadly this was some of the worst Thai I've ever had. The noodles were slimy and overcooked. The egg rolls were greasy and left the grease taste in your mouth and the Thai tea was some how not good either. Bland and just not tasty. I hate to give a restaurant a bad review because I am a small business owner myself, but given that it was so bad, I have to share my experience in hopes they will do better.

A delicious dinner and a lovely establishment! I loved my recent dining experience at Boran. On a Saturday evening around 7pm, there was no wait and plenty of free street parking available. We ordered: Papaya salad 5/5 - I LOVE papaya salad and they do it so well here! I ordered it mild and can tell that they only put in one chili which was very much appreciated because 1 chili already felt a little bit spicy for me. The papaya salad was SUPER flavorful, crispy, fresh, and hit the spot. Salmon Penang curry 4/5 - very interesting! The salmon penang curry is one of the signature dishes and comes with a bowl of rice. The penang curry is creamy, flavorful, and vibrant. It's a bit salty, but pairs very well with rice. They served it with a slab of salmon that felt a little overcooked in my humble opinion, as well as, lots of steamed broccoli. The veggies felt a bit random, but the curry itself was so good. Boat noodles 2/5 - if you've never had boat noodles (like me), it felt very similar to pho. They use rice noodles and it's served in a hearty brown stock with plenty of chicken and meatballs. This was my least favorite because the stock was super salty and the chicken was very overcooked/dry. The noodles were flavorful and tasty though! Service was wonderful! Very attentive, super friendly, and they just felt like kind human beings. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely give Boran's a try!
